Seems like he is still thinking about bitcoin he was supposed to get through his little scam. I am just surprised that he didn't delete that Ann and posts completely, but maybe that's his next step. Somehow i doubt that is last of him, these kind of scammers usually come back with new account and new scam attempt. |

An interesting opinion about Smartcash from their previous Ann thread, posted back in June 2019. Maybe he decided to open new one to avoid these kind of things. And on top that, this Ann is self-moderated, while old one isn't. It was dead a long time ago.. I posted facts last year March and April of 2018 about how it's a scam.. They made this bitcointalk forum more than half an year after their coin went live. The masternodes were broken for months and they were claiming they fixed it, I posted screenshots on here of how it's not fixed, selected masternodes kept getting payments and never went to the back of the list...People on the inside made huge profits unloading their coins on ppl that wanted to set up masternodes.. Many bought at above .70 cents and then a few months later it crashed to 10 cents... I said inside people, b/c since they weren't on here(bitcointalk forum), when they were premining it was low difficulty and not many ppl knew about the coin, then after half an year of the coin being live and mined they set up a thread on here about their scam coin...
The funny thing is my account on here got hacked, and they tried to change my email...I recovered it and only the many posts I made on this thread were deleted,no other posts in other threads were touched... If you go to page 35 you see @leko$ replying with my name in his replies, but you don't see any of my messages..You can still see some other people that have quoted me in other pages, but all my messages were erased, so it's obvious whoever hacked my account was pissed for all the facts I posted on here. Sta mislite o ideji koja kruzi da ovaj zadnji rast BTCa ima veze sa US-Iran krizom, jer se ocekivala eskalacija i nestabilnost. A nakon sto se situacija malo primirila i Trump za promjenu poslao par pomirljivih poruka, BTC krenuo nazad.
Iskreno nemam pojma sta da mislim o tome, samo znam da svaki put kad BTC ide gore ili dolje, ekipa nadje neke razloge da si opravda to.

Mislim da je problem sto je kod nas i dalje dominantna Keynesova skola, a tako ce i ostati neko vrijeme s obzirom da je u obrazovnom sustavu i dalje ekipa koja preferira te ideje, pa onda dalje prenosi na nove generacije. E sad, mozda se na nekim sveucilistima poducava nesto drukcije, ali kad sam ja studirao prije 15-20 godina takva je situacija bila a i nekako mi se cini da su te ideje jos rasirenije nego sto su bile ranije. |

While burden of proof should be on the accuser, this is not a criminal court where you have to prove beyond reasonable doubt that someone is guilty. We are not talking about life or death situations here so threshold is usually lower. There will allways be possibility of abuse by some DT members, but often other DT members will jump in and counter negative feedback. |

Add on that that crypto market is still new and there is constant influx of new people that have no idea how all this works, and you get what we have new- bunch of old scams still going on, and people falling for them. After all, if it wasn't working, they wouldn't keep doing them.. |

The way i see it, in a way you did a good thing. By giving @The-Devil 50 merit you brought some attention onto him , and that's the reason he was caught relatively early. So everything ended up pretty well imho  What do i have to do now.

Well I was just thinking that to be able to get a merit your topic should have a sense or let's say it should be on topic whether you agree or doesn't agree to a statement it can be worth receiving merits right? it was implemented to avoid unnecessary off topics or spam messages isn't or let's say spam free forum.
It just came to my mind what if a user helps the moderators to clean the forum and in return the user will be grant a 1 merit per approved reports or maybe 10 or 20 or any number of reports. I didn't say that the moderators can't handle things on their own but we all know that there's a time that the moderators might miss some unnecessary topics from the forum.
Just want to know your thoughts. Is it good idea or not?
Bad idea. It is pretty simple: be active, report wrongdoings on the forum(scammers, spammers, plagiarizers etc) , and you will get merit from other members. No need for some automated merit dispenser. If there is a chance for something to be abused, rest assure it will be. |

if I were you I would lock this thread, go into meta section and spend some time reading, find the rules etc - then come back here, unlock the thread and answer your own question. If you do that ill drop some merits on you so you rank up straight away
In this situation more applicable is the Terry Pratchet version of that saying, "Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life." All these brand new accounts asking about forum rules, way to rank up etc are no new users at all in most cases, it's just a way to fish for some merit. |
