Full disclosure when I posted this I had just left the mintdice sig campaign and put on the YoBit sig. It had nothing to to with yahoo62278 / mintdice but a change in work that would probably not let me make the required posts for a while so I went to a no minimum post signature.
With the above being said. Between yesterday and today BTC went up a lot in value vs USD then came back down a bunch high of a bit over $10k USD down to about $9150 So in theory depending on when yahoo paid and when I got up and moved it there could be a significant change in value.
Yes, I know if I paid got for something .001 that too changed a lot but, since this is a board about bitcoin, I was just wondering how you want to get your pay computed.
It's probably not going to change how sig campaigns are run since it's between the manager and the people paying for it, but since there was such a large bounce it just kind of crossed my mind. And if it is USD or other based, do you think the campaign manager should post I used this rate for conversion. Yeah, I know I can do the math in about 15 seconds but having it public might just look better. Not sure.
Just some ramblings on a Saturday,

Knowing BitPay has been hacked perhaps 3-4 times already I wouldn't be surprised if the breach comes from their system again even if BitPay does not hold the card number. Wait some hours and be sure it will hit Coindesk and co. Since it's a re-loadable prepaid card, depending on the systems BitPay might not even have access to the number. They are just running API calls to the providers back end. That was how it was done when I was dealing with selling them at my job. When you activated or looked at your transaction information or anything else we never had the data. It looked like the front end of our site, but it was not. We were just displaying data that was provided to us. If there was an issue the number you called was for the card provider, if there was fraud it was between you and the provider. It looked like us, but it was not. No idea of the BitPay deal. -Dave

I have to leave for a while, I would like to thank yahoo62278 for running this. And, once this real life project is done I'll be back.
Thanks, Dave

So I got this in my email today: This week, a handful of BitPay cardholders let us know about unauthorized purchases made online and/or at several specific retail stores. While these appear isolated, we wanted to encourage you to review your transactions in light of what we have learned. BitPay does not hold your card number or process Visa card transactions. As such, we are working with BitPay’s card program manager to investigate all unauthorized transaction activity with Visa and resolve these issues as soon as possible. Please report any unauthorized card transactions directly to 1-855-884-7568. A cardholder services specialist will help you. So, it looks like their card provider got hit. Figured I would post about it for the people that might not see it in their email. -Dave

Still coming here, still love this game. What did I do the AM before work? Coffee, a few posts here and other forums and 15 minutes playing here. It's fun, you don't need big bets, and it's quick. Perfect diversion before the stress of the work day.

No messing about from DaveF this time! Wow
Sadly I will be away from my PC @ the end and mobile is going to be iffy for me Saturday evening, so I figured get in now and hope for the best. From where the last batch ended and the fact the BTC is down right now I figure I might actually win some of them. Next time can you end it on a Tuesday afternoon? :-) -Dave

What quickly, it's been 4 days since the start of the auction. Stay near your computer this time Actually already know I will not be around, but will try to keep up on mobile. -Dave

Dave patting himself on the back....I'm up to 400 good reports. Yeah, I am still an amateur compared to some of you, but I try. -Dave

Start process, enter info, wait 45 minutes......enter more info....wait again. I was stuck in the fact that I could not do field work or much else since you kind of had to be aware of when you had to start the next step. So I was here and on the car forum A LOT for 6 weeks. So I wore a sig. The moment the project ended and I was not able to make the post count I was booted from the campaign not even a "you need to get back up" just a "thanks for the last few weeks, you're gone"
-Dave
IINM, repeated non-performance usually gets you kicked out without warning. Did you inform the campaign manager back then though? If you did, you could have exited with grace. Yes, I told them that my post count might drop for a week, possibly 2 till I reworked my schedule. The response was more or less "It's been nice, you're outta here" -Dave

Makes me wonder if it's the other way around. YoBit is paying people so good posters who might not have been motivated before now are.
I know the last time the YoBit campaign was active I joined.....Because I was going to be stuck in the office for close to 5 days @ 15+ hours a day. It was going to be (and was) dead due to the holidays. Phone not ringing, emails that had to be dealt with were few and far between. So why not join and make some BTC. I was going to be posting so I might as well get paid for it.
No long term requirements, no filling out a form and waiting to hear back if I was accepted. Add profile to the YoBit page, sig and text and go.
Right now I am wearing the MintDice sig and have been for ~2 months because I knew I was going to be on a lot. If I was not sure if I could make the 25 posts I probably would be wearing YoBit.
Same as a while ago, late 2016 early 17. I was working on a project that required a lot of time, but there were many many breaks. Start process, enter info, wait 45 minutes......enter more info....wait again. I was stuck in the fact that I could not do field work or much else since you kind of had to be aware of when you had to start the next step. So I was here and on the car forum A LOT for 6 weeks. No exchange does it as far as I know However, there was a discussion on Reddit about it https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcoinsv/comments/bm8h6o/splitting_bchbsv_stored_on_a_ledger_nano_device/There are probably other ways. I know that if all the coins are in 1 address sending post fork coins (either BCH or BSV) to that address and sending all of that will prevent it from being broadcast on the other chain because the coins do not exist on the other chain. i.e. you have 1 BCH in address "X" you send .000001 BCH from coins that were mined post fork to address "X" you then send 1.00001 BCH to a new address. BSV will not be sent because the 1.00001 in the transaction does not exist on that chain. -Dave

Ohhh, new place to play. Hopped in and played for a bit. I like the site and the graphics. But....it's kind of laggy. I can't explain it past that. Click on an action and 1...2...3...4...5...6 then it happens. All other sites are fine at the moment. I'll try again later / tomorrow but is anyone else seeing anything off? It's now 21:00 UTC 20-Oct for reference.

Good evening Dave and welcome to Play Royal! I've just conducted a full site review and have a load time of less than 1 second per page, however we also have the option to disable animations which may be of interest to you. Could you tell me which games/pages you were having this experience with, and if you are using mobile or desktop? It was the same laptop that I use for most online games. I was having the issue with any of the slots that I tried. I didn't try the dice or poker. Seems better now. Could have been on my end, but all other sites I went to were fine so I figured I would mention it. Thanks, Dave

So I have been sitting at a client waiting for an installer to show up just playing around here. Still like the games and the casino. Fun and fast and quick withdraws when you win. Yeah, I'm wearing their sig but it's still one of the places I play, I just have not been posting in this thread about it.

Well, I dont know to be honest guys. They hold my money for 4 days and told me that it would be resolved under 48 hours, double the time went. Of course I gambled, like any other man. And of course I lost it. If they waited for it (like many other casinos do) or if they where sincere about looking up "my statistic", I cant answer. Well atleast, now they know I can lose like any other.
Instant deposits, atleast if the winnings are not high. idk, you do you.
This does happen from time to time when sites are using software that they did not develop. Something strange happens or at least something that looks strange and because it is costing them money they want to talk to the developer to make sure it's legitimate. I do get that. The problem is if the developer / programmer is not responsive you (the player) are sitting there waiting for your money. -Dave

Even after I opened this thread, surprisingly they continue to fake the conversation with their newbies account, just like before. I think this action will not stop until the right action is taken against them. Unless the thread lock, thread delete, action is taken, they will do the same things.
I would think that removing the posts and accounts responsible would be enough. If you do that then the people who are paying for the service can go back to the people doing it and say "where are the posts?" This way after dealing with many clients who don't think they got what they paid for it might get better. You can't lock / remove the thread because it would lead to people hiring these scammers to bomb threads that they don't like to get them taken down. -Dave

Does anyone have any links to the wallets? Someone should post them someplace. Yeah, it's an old just about dead coin but it's still an important part of crypto history.

If you want PM me and I'll pass it on.
It would help if the slackers at bitcoin.com pool stopped playing around and found a block :-) Seriously, I'm glad we have pool operators like you who are willing to help out.
