Can you tell us your order number?

Thanks

Thanks Aseras ... I know.. too late Wink

Yeah,

too little, but having an address where to send some tips would help as well, I mean, if each Avalon user sends 1 BTC per owned Avalon 100 BTCs are easily collected!

Back at the 500 GH/s level again... we just need a couple more Avalons or a bunch of Asicminer blades to reach the 1-block-a-day (on average) level... come on! Smiley

It seems they looked at my ticket about telephone number not being visible inside order page.

I got no reply to my ticket, but now my order page shows it, so opening a ticket is the way to go to get noticed.

ps. now waiting for that tracking number we all love so much Smiley

And another ! lol..

Great news! Pool needs to reach at least 1 TH/s IMHO before variance stops being such an issue as it is now.

Let's hope current low fees plus increasing hash-rate make other switch to this pool Wink

If history serves as a guide, Avalon will probably update us tomorrow. *hope*

I'd like them addressing the issue of the "missing" telephone number which is, instead, present (at least in my case Smiley) and available inside their own site Sad

628  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] LocalBitcoins.com - a location-based bitcoin to cash marketplace on: May 14, 2013, 12:34:54 PM
kangasbros,

- latest site does not keep user location, I mean, I go to "Buy Bitcoins", I enter my location, I go to "Sell Bitcoins" it does not remember my location. It does not remember my location when I return the next day... annoying.

- on some browser/platform when I login a white pop up window comes out... browser (mostly firefox) does not remember user credentials inside this popup... annoying.

- listed online sellers/buyers per country contain sellers/buyers from other countries than the one of the user, maybe there should be a checkbox to include them/exclude them, I mean, I could not be interested in buying/selling to someone from the other side of Europe when there is someone near me/which speaks my language.

My 2c Smiley

Did any ticket get an answer?

Block found!  Grin

This pool needs a few more hundred GH/s to take off!

I see no ASIC miner blades here... where are they?

Has anyone actually got a response from their ticketing system. I have a ticket that is still "processing" after 3months  Smiley

Yes,

I have, so far, opened four tickets with them, two of which got a response.

But the problem is that on their shopping site there is a place where you can insert a phone number, this place is inside the billing address, I had my number there since day one, but it is not shown when you look at your order, #1077 for me.

So whoever sent the mail could not see it and/or could not access the complete billing address info, hence he sent the mail!

I got the same email (order #1089). It gave me a panic attack. There is no instruction about how to send them my phone number. That would have been helpful. So, I sent it through every possible avenue I could think of.

Domrada,

open a ticket on http://support.avalon-asic.com if you haven't already which is the only known way to communicate with them that I'm aware of.

Shit!

I got a similar mail, telling me there is no telephone number, which is wrong!

There is a telephone number, but it is inside billing address!

Shipping address has no space for telephone numbers.

I've just opened a ticket, let's hope they can find it out.

What makes you think they won't?
At least Avalon as been reported to work with their latest firmware (I'm not sure about the efficiency or the exact configuration though).

Sorry, I've made several tests with an Avalon (latest firmware), it barely works for a few minutes, then either p2pool (latest git code) or the Avalon break.

I see a couple of users of p2pool with hash rates that appear to be an Avalon, but I don't know how they're able to make it work, if they're using an Avalon.

spiccioli

You have to use the "avalon" branch of P2Pool for Stratum to work.

Hi forrestv,

I did use the avalon branch but it made no difference.

And I have to use --fix-protocol on cgminer (so I'm not using stratum) otherwise the Avalon does not submit shares and hangs up after half a minute/a couple of minutes of "work"

ckolivas believes that there is some issue on the stratum implementation of p2pool and/or there are problems due to the low memory available on the Avalons.

Aseras was able to mine on p2pool but it was not using latest Avalon firmware which I'm using.

A couple more Avalons for a few days could give a nice push...

Let's hope they come...

Did you try plugged direct to your PC?

No, where they are I cannot plug them easily into a PC.
