Is anyone else concerned that Bitcoin has been steadily dropping and doesn't seem inclined to stop?
BTC... hmmm what's that again? Oh yeah, I remember now - it's the exchange medium I have to use when moving my BC->Fiat and vice versa. As long as you don't look at BTC as a store of value (like BC is proving to be) then it's price can be $5 or $5000 - won't matter because I'll only be in it for a few hours at the most. +1000000000000000 This is 'exactly' how I feel. |

I want to make a Blackcoin song - my background in music is pretty much any genre from jazz to rap to bebop to metal. If I were to make a BC tune, which genre would the community like? Electro? Yes it should be much higher allready but some dumb f**k is holding bc down.. When he stops this shit it will be rocket up.. regardles what happens with btc.. we are independet!!! Yeah its hard to comprehend why someone with 40btc of BC, would not just let it pop up to 15-100,000 satoshis so they can be rich. Instead they prefer to play... regardess 40btc isn't that much, and they will regret selling it in the middle of the night when a bigger fish shows up and eats the walls. |

All these predictions of Blackcoin being over $1000 or even just 50k sat and the press release news AND the Blackout Wednesday is getting me more excited. I hope we're all millionaires by this time next year...if not by the end of the year!

All it takes is the right person or group of people to say that blackcoin is the solution to the problem. 50k sats by year end is a very real possibility with those gains coming in 3-4 massive legs and consolidation in between. BC can only suffer from lack of faith, (or greed?) And don't see that happening. Many in this community have realized that this rocket can go anywhere we want. All we have to do is 'know' that the pools efforts will constant push up the price. And since we know that, why would we sell anything we didn't have too? Because it will only be worth more tomorrow... Anytime is the best time to buy BC Unlike most other coins there is a *real* possibility it won't be cheaper tomorrow, or an hour from now. |

We need to be careful in this community not to focus "too much" on the multipool.
Blackcoin was trending upwards very nicely before the multipool even existed.
Blackcoins core concept is being 100% core of stake with a solid developer and community manager. The multipool is a nice extra. I would like to see less posts around here about multipool pumps and other such things. And more focus on projects which further Blackcoin's foundation eg a blockchain like wallet or android wallet or marketing campaigns etc.
+1 BC should not have psychological dependence on Multipool. Instead it should be project oriented. I hope apart from multipool, the devs, community will come forward with different projects. I would like to see BC being accepted by vendors, websites, etc. I assure you, this is in our future in some exciting ways. |

The latest pool payout worked out to $2.60 USD per MHS for the day, x my 2.5mhs = $6.50, according to coinwarz for my hashrate this makes the BC multi-pool the 2/3ish Most profitable coin to mine in this instant.... No bad!
When I think about the cumulative benefits of mining in the pool to the community, to Blackcoin and its overall affect on my BC holdings I don't see how this isn't the best thing I can be doing right now. My opinion is you have *any* amount of BC you should be mining on the pool to 'automatically' increase the value of the coins you hold and the coins you are mining right this minute.

The pool will buy price to *any* level. It is early-holding-weak-hands, and 'day traders' holding the price down now, With a few large holders/whales trying to get a little more coin before its to late. I've given up trying to explain to people why this coin is so bad-ass and how we get to control how much it is valued. I'm likely going to be posting here less and seeking to bring some more assets into BC. I am going to continue increasing my BC steadily and I am working on bringing more hash to the pool. I've discovered that BC is so cheap relative to its potential that it is not beyond me and a few dozen other like minds to just acquire so much of the outstanding coins we can begin to see the gains we want through holding. At this point now that I know how much I can influence BC with dedication even as a individual I have no reason to fear price-dumps (I will simply buy more) or massive lack of faith in the coin (I will simply buy more) or basically anything that will push the price down (I will simply buy more) The more I have the more I can boost the price. Hey all. Admin from AllCrypt here. We added BC earlier today due to an outcry of support in the Trollbox.
They also said something interesting.
That for reasons I'm not sure of... people are chomping at the bit to get BC be added as a trading PAIR on exchanges. POT/BC and SLR/BC etc...
Most (all?) coins aren't worth that work. No one asks for trading pairs for these other altcoins.
Why's BC different? Is that something that would be wanted? Is it something that would be supported and used?
AllCrypt was built to be entirely modular. Adding BC as a trading pair would take literally one line of code. (We thought ahead)
But I also don't want to open Pandoras box of all the other coins asking for it, then suddenly there are literally 12,321 markets on AllCrypt as every coin is a possible pair, thus making the site worthless.
But we're also absolutely all about innovation. WE pioneered coin voting. WE are pioneering user configurable cold storage wallets (Hoping to launch that tomorrow or monday).
We'd love to pioneer another amazing change to the crypto Exchange landscape.
But it has to be for the right reason and I have to be convinced it'd work.

Well, having witnessed crypto for years now, and as a firm believer in crypto (and BC) I believe the most dominant reason is to decouple major alts from Bitcoin. The BC community knows that its onto something special here. The faster Blackcoin can develop its own core value ouside of the Shadow of Bitcoin the better. Blackcoin has already proven to be one of the only (only?) alts that has found a way to increase in value consistently through this last BTC price slump. The 'decoupling' is already starting to happen. But without BC alt trading pairs and BC to USD coins like this are being held back. As a way to protect yourself and your time establish some type of process. Just asking for BTC is kind of tacky. Or you can just make it a arbitrary 'market decision'. All crypto wealth being forced to flow through BTC in all directions is outdated. Blaze the new trail! |

Actually now that I've thought about it, I am really happy for the most recent dump, its weak-hands dropping again on the notion that the pool won't help that 'much'. So the pool is buying 20% more coins now than it was 3 hours ago. This not only gives me more BC for my hash, But its likely to filter into more longer-term hands. Anyone who gets BC at 7000k is likely going to hold much longer than someone who got in at 3000. The sooner we drop everyone who bought in cheap enough that they can only see small-time dollar signs at these prices the better we all are. Think of it like a funnel, the more we shake out the weak hands, the less, progressively there are coins in queue waiting to be dumped. I think we are heading towards a Event Horizon: "the point at which the gravitational pull becomes so great as to make escape impossible" What will happen is that through these dumps more and more BC finds its way into strong hands, This makes the pool that much more effective at creating price-rise. We are going to hit the 'Event Horizon' and it will be too late for most to escape (ie, get BC cheap) because it will start a chain reaction and there will no longer be enough dumpers with enough BC to make a meaningful impact.
