624  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-09-04] Bitcoin Debit Card Provider E-Coin Makes A Huge Splash In Morocco on: September 06, 2015, 12:38:39 PM
As far as I'm told, lots of people are flocking to Bitcoin and debit cards there to avoid capital controls.

No further details were provided for now though.

this is really interesting, if you have some news about why is this happend i will be interested on read it.

from the post:

Quote
One of the main reasons why E-Coin’s Bitcoin debit card is getting so much interest from Moroccan citizens is due to the fact it is not linked to one particular bank.

jeje maybe they just "Wake up" Wink

-----------------------

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1150229.msg12161099#msg12161099

Code:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=CAMBIAME
rpcpassword=CAMBIAME
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
staking=0
port=CAMBIAMEPORTUPUERTO
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=ValorgeneradoporelcomandoGenKey

Code:
masternode start

627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Cryptocurrency Social Media Network on: September 06, 2015, 11:44:19 AM
This site is far away from facebook in my opinion because it is brand new and it needs so many improvement, only 7 members are registered ath the moment so it needs huge social media advertisement to get active crypto lovers at one place.

yep, seems like they are doing it right now, i mean something like a huge social media advertisement, thats why they are here on this forum Wink

btw yes they are brand new, but who know, nobody start with 500k of users Wink

It's fast, smooth, and free, plus no ads which is nice!

lets see if they become popular if they still free and with no ads.
628  Other / Off-topic / Re: What you do with BITCOIN ? on: September 06, 2015, 11:36:26 AM

btw im planning to buy a minner but i will not while prices are so high ( even for my electricity cost ), so for now just hold them all Smiley

631  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about different investment other than Ponzi schemes. on: September 04, 2015, 12:22:42 PM
I'm looking at buying a Sr/Hero/Legendary account and use signature campaigns to make money. Question is, what are good accounts going for now and days? What sig campaigns pay the most money as of right now? Do you think sig campaigns are going to last for a long time?

Everything related to this topic is most certainly welcome and appreciated  Smiley

i understand that you want to do that, i mean to buy an account, but beleive me, the best thing you can do is to "lvling" your current one you will enjoy it and learn a lot while you did it.

btw i would suggest you to dont pay so much for an hero account.

But if I were to get a hero account with good posting and no negative feedbacks on it to for .55 BTC I could make my money back in a month essentially.. ?

thats the point, you can check this subforum -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0 and check if thats profitable for you.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: September 04, 2015, 11:57:44 AM
I think HDD mining is the future. Maybe this will take off or another something just lick it.

not only the future, "should" be the present too, things are not going good right now, thats true, but dont worry, things will change soon and you will see the power of BURST jeje, i will stay tuned at this thread in the next days Smiley

Looking forward to burst 2.0  Smiley

sad to tell you that POC 2 is in hold, but dont worry as i already said, i feel like things will change soon Smiley
633  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-09-03] Chinese Capital Controls May Create Next Bitcoin Boom on: September 04, 2015, 11:49:49 AM
I've always been of the opinion that mass adoption of bitcoin will be driven by governments either through them devaluing their currencies to a worthless level and or by taking financial 'freedoms' away from its citizens.

who know?, maybe thats exactly what they are currently doing from the shadow?, that's my "fear", underestimate the governments, they are always trying to control everything, we should never forget that.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox the movie? on: September 04, 2015, 11:37:51 AM
A movie where i can see how Mark Karpeles go to jail? ohh yesss this will be a great film Tongue

It would also depend what message at the end this movie sends about Bitcoin, if it sends a message, Bitcoin is a great technological achievement even though Mt. Gox has happened, then great. On the other side if sends a message, people beware of Bitcoin, then it wouldn't be so good! Smiley

exactly this, i care too about what will be the final message and what will people who are not already into the bitcoin world think about it when it finish, what will do Hollywood?
635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do you believe with bitcoin on: September 03, 2015, 12:01:58 PM
do you believe with bitcoin in the future can replace fiat as a number one currency?

the question here is, why people will need fiat if everything could be done with bitcoin? Tongue

nah seriously, the fight here is with governments and that they will do everything needed if bitcoin becomes more stronger than now, the key is what they will do.
636  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-09-02] Oxford Dictionaries adds definition for blockchain on: September 03, 2015, 11:58:50 AM
Oxford Dictionaries adds definition for blockchain
The word ‘blockchain’ is added to the Oxford Dictionaries web site, along with ‘Redditor’ and an additional meaning of the word ‘miner’. It reflects the growing use of the words in English language.
http://www.coinfox.info/news/2924-oxford-dictionaries-adds-definition-for-blockchain

jaja, it means more than it seems, at least for me, all those "little steps" that i can read everyday made me feel optimistic about the bitcoin world Wink

Now even your grandmother can look up the dictionary and find the meanings of these words. It is no longer technical jargon, restricted to nerdy computer science types.

and your sons will read when his father join at the history of the humanity Tongue
637  Other / Meta / Re: Free BitcoinTalk notification extension for Chrome & Opera on: September 03, 2015, 11:51:14 AM
Isn't it easier to just set email notifications? Everybody has their mail on push nowadays right? You can even read the full message in your mail..

yep, also for me this is more usefull than that extension, since i can be informed even if im not at my computer, but you know if this extension is safe to use then should be welcome, more tools for our community Smiley

ty for your job!
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: September 03, 2015, 11:43:59 AM
Its a bit shame, and so strange to me that dev abandoned one of the gratest projects on crypto...

Dev has not abandoned - he's off dealing with some personal issues and is expected back in the near future. For now the core team will be covering, If he is unable to return there is a plan in place for migrating to a new dev.

H.

exactly, if im not wrong @crowetic already told us that.

I can understand when people become nervous when the dev "disappear", but don't worry guys, if needed, im 100% sure that someone will fix it soon Wink just keep believing on BURST!!!
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: September 03, 2015, 11:19:24 AM
