621  Economy / Economics / Re: South Korea quarantines and burn their cash due to Coronavirus on: March 09, 2020, 12:00:15 PM
This is a temporary situation that will probably pass away soon because the hot summers are coming anyway and the virus will not be able to live long with this weather so they have to only wait a bit longer and wait for it to end, I am sure in 2 months there will be almost no cases. Plus lets be honest banknotes are not a big part of society anymore, it is still something but it is not a big deal as much as it used to be.

We all keep our money in our banks and we have debit cards and bank apps on our phones and many other stuff like that which means we do not use that much cash anymore. I swear to god I use probably %10 of all my money in cash and rest %90 would be usually either payment from my app or payment with my debit card and that has been for couple of years now.
622  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: March 08, 2020, 03:59:02 PM
It looks like there is a very real danger out there about the 2FA and Bugsquasha has been trying to tell Fortunejack about it for a long time but haven't gotten anywhere with them. I am immediately stopping playing here and will not play here until the problem is solved. Not going to deposit, managed to withdraw my money already and will not play again until this is fixed.

I would understand having some sort of troubles with your code because every single development results with some sort of bugs and that happens, however this dude has been telling you about the problem for almost a month now and you still haven't done anything about it at all. I am sorry but if Fortunejack is the type of place that doesn't care about my security then I do not care about their casino, good bye.
623  Economy / Economics / Re: Good news for bitcoin from India, should other countries also follow the suit? on: March 08, 2020, 02:23:51 PM
I am quite happy to hear this for the Indian friends and I hope that in the future this would be an example to all other nations that wants to ban crypto. It is actually not a bannable thing if you consider it, sure you can ban crypto companies and make it harder for people to exchange bitcoin and fiat however you can't really ban crypto.

You own your computer and you download the bitcoin wallet and someone sends you bitcoin to that wallet, how could you stop that, how could anyone stop that? In the long run bitcoin can't be stopped and will continue to be bigger and bigger. Casino world was tried to stop as well, what happened?

It is literally bigger than ever and now there are too many people gambling online without getting caught. I suspect no matter what, crypto will continue to grow (even if it is allowed or not).
624  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: March 07, 2020, 08:41:32 PM
I don’t really know what kind of effect this going to have on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
The only thing I am worried about is that the government start looking for ways to ban Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies once they create their own cryptocurrency.

The reason I’m saying this is because they might feel that the current cryptocurrency we have now might be standing in their way and block people from adopting their own cryptocurrency which will be centralized and regulated. The government wants everything regulated so that they can keep an eye on it.
625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: March 07, 2020, 07:49:37 PM
There are people who diversify their investments with different assets/coins to minimize their risks of losing money, but sometimes it can be really disappointing, especially with altcoins. Altcoins can make you lose your money more than Bitcoin will make you.

The volatility with altcoins is usually worst. They do go up when the price of Bitcoin is going up and when Bitcoin crashes theirs is always more than Bitcoin. But you can still try diversification, but don’t be like those that buy lots of coins like twenty coins that they know nothing about. If you want to trade you should only trade few coins that you know very well.
626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Charts Are Garbage on: March 07, 2020, 07:18:51 PM
Meehn, it’s not only by reading the charts, there are other facts that you will have to consider as well which are very important. Cryptocurrency can be affected by events that take place in the market, and lots of things happen, you just have to be following up with the biggest events that take place in the market and that way you will be able to tell where the market would likely be heading to.

If you’re going to be focusing only on technical analysis you’re going to be getting it wrong. I have seen people that tried it and even applied the best strategy and it still didn’t work out. That’s why McAfee said that Bitcoin is the worst asset because he has tried a lot of times to predict the price using TA but he couldn’t lol.
627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So are we in bullish times or Not?? on: March 07, 2020, 06:32:03 PM
Not really, the market can’t go up without going down at a certain time. There are times the market will seem bullish and when it reaches a price it will drop back to a lower rate and it just continues like that. I’m only waiting for the 3rd Halving to take place on May, I guess on 12th or so, and that’s when the main bull run is likely to take place; likely because I am not hundred percent sure about it.

Can’t really wait till then to see what happens, it’s really been quite a long time since people were making their speculations about a bull run lol. So, back to what I was saying, there are times the market can be more of bullish and right now the market is back to being bullish as it has managed to get out from the $7000 fall and back up to $9,100.
628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 07, 2020, 06:01:40 PM
Trading: short term, emotional based
Investing: long term, fundamental based
Both of them are fundamentally based and trading MUST never be done based on emotions or personal feelings, trading while it seem simple requires a lot of analysis and ability to read charts so can't be said trading is accomplished emotionally. Investing though is long term and fundamental I agree because you must have the vision to foresee that the value will increase over longer period of time.

For me investing is much easier than trading because trading requires sharp judgement of when to buy and sell a particular asset while investing you just have to HODL and wait till the price reaches your desired value.
629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: March 07, 2020, 05:09:33 PM
There's nothing wrong in freelancing I guess in fact, only your time will be wasted if you didn't get paid unlike trading where you can lose your money and time at the same time. Freelancing and trading can be both profitable and there are some chances that you could get a more profit compared into another one depending on the situation and skills you have.
Actually comparing freelancing with trading is factually incorrect because trading is done by those who have good reserves of money while freelancing is those who earn daily and live their life. I mean comparison is almost impossible but I would give a few points of my own to help understand it better.

Freelancing: If you want to start freelancing always keep in mind that you will earn only as long as you invest yourself in the project and you will always be paid a small part of what the employer earns by hiring you.

Trading: Risks involved but you will keep all what you earn and you will get experienced with time, but there are risks and you must have the financial freedom to face some loss.
630  Economy / Economics / Re: Can corona virus or any other epidemic disease can collapse Banking? on: March 07, 2020, 09:33:21 AM
Imagine Corona virus or any epidemic disease affected globally. As a result, all the economy will be affected and people will face hard time. Will not it bring an affect in economic balance? Which will turn into high inflation globally and it will result collapse of the banking system. Will it? In my country, the situation is getting worse for product which we are depended on China. I can see a significant inflation here if Corona Virus issue continued.
Lots of companies are now working from home, I don’t really know if banks are going to do the same. Bank is something different , they manage money and everyday comes to pay in their money into the bank. I think what they are really going to do is to find ways to protect themselves, maybe by wearing protective clothes and gloves to prevent them from making contact with money that has been infected.

There are lots of ways that they can protect their staff from being infected by the virus. And moreover I don’t think the world is going to suffer. No matter what happens we will find a way to adapt to the changes and survive man.
631  Economy / Economics / Re: Dow Jones Price Drop & The Corona Virus? on: March 06, 2020, 02:23:30 PM
Do not forget what the greatest investor of all time Warren Buffet said about these type of situations, be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy when others are fearful.

When they are so scared of corona virus that they sell their stocks and their cryptos and other stuff, that doesn't change the fact that company is still the same company and it still worths the original price, so when they sell their stuff the price becomes undervalued and that is when you buy and wait which is a long term thing but when you wait long enough you end up with a lot of money because price will go back up to what it suppose to be and not what people who are afraid made it to be because of their scare.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 06, 2020, 12:58:16 PM
It is idiotic to think that technology can't ever replace the banknotes and the ones who say "how are we going to do this without internet connection" are seriously either haven't used credit cards in the past 20 years or they are simply ignorant.

Credit cards require a connection as well, without that machine getting some connection you are not going to be able to use your card neither, however when you look at things I am sure majority of payments are made with cards instead of cash nowadays. This is why I think bitcoin has a huge chance, you don't need too much for bitcoin to be "standard" but even just 5% of all payments are made in bitcoin that would result with bitcoin becoming 100k+ very very easily.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is no different than a fiat currency? on: March 03, 2020, 06:26:19 PM
I just read the article above and would like to know whats your take on this. For me it seems true that Bitcoin is much more decentralized than Ethereum and so, much different than fiat money compared to Ethereum, still Ethereum aim is to reduce Eth issuance and it's much more transparent than fiat money. I would say Eth it's not so different as Bitcoin but still very different than a fiat currency and more decentralized.
You suddenly sounded completely different because just because of being too much centralized, no cryptocurrency will be looking like a fiat currency but they may look like a corporate cryptocurrency like how XRP is doing. In between cryptocurrency and fiats there is another layer is existing which must be corporate cryptos.

Ethereum must work on making it more transparent and fulfilling all the features of decentralization. Because, by having a central authority for making decisions and to implement enhancements, ethereum looks so centralized but bitcoin is not having any such authority but making decisions through the foundation of bitcoin community. Ethereum also must be looking for changes like that so that it will ensure all the aspects of decentralization.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: March 03, 2020, 05:09:46 PM
Anything may happen. Most of the altcoins are finding themselves bullish only when bitcoin prices are stable. Yes, when bitcoin market is bullish or bearish, altcoin market enter into bearish mode ONLY. I guess no one might be having any proper explanation for this. But this is how altcoin markets are working. We need to trade altcoins based on how bitcoin market is doing otherwise we will get trapped by unexpected losses.

I remember before 2017, both bitcoin and altcoins markets are rising up and falling down simultaneously and at those times, dominance of bitcoin market was more than 80% but now we are having comparatively more altcoin market dominance in this crypto space. This could be one of the reason why we are unable to predict how altcoin market will be reacting against bitcoin market fluctuations.
Yes, it will be highly unpredictable because we cannot pre-assume how the investors/traders will be reacting when bitcoin market is rising up or falling down. Basically, altcoin market is completely depending on the fluctuations of bitcoin markets hence we can predict how the traders and investors will be doing for altcoin markets against the fluctuation of bitcoin market.

Like you have mentioned, currently altcoin market is reacting to bitcoin in inversely proportional way. Only when bitcoin market is trading stable, we can expect altcoin market to rise up. But this cannot be 100% guaranteed fact, anything may happen at any time just based on the trends of traders and investors. High-level precaution is always recommended.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about the next alt coin? on: March 03, 2020, 04:34:04 PM
Yeah, since we are not going to be running those new projects ourselves, it is always risky to talk about them to other people. You do not know their financial place and maybe their situation requires every single cent they have and they need profits to keep living and if you tell them that there is a new project coming up that will make them a ton of money you will convince people (even tho they should't be convinced) to spend that money they need on the project you suggested instead of spending on what they actually need and in the end they may end up losing money they already needed to begin with.

I personally can't take that responsibility and do not really suggest anyone to buy anything.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gone are the days where projects team ask for opinions from investors on: March 03, 2020, 03:57:11 PM
I don't think it will be a good idea to listen to the suggestions from common people/end-users but they must listen to the complaints of such group of people and for developments and enhancement they must have specialized team so that they could find good progress with their project. I mean to say community members are for finding bugs and missing things whereas you must have separate team for your all other things.

At the same time every project must interact with end-users or their dedicated community so that they could have all type of feedback and they must work on that so that they could have continuous progress which is more important for sustaining market value.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when everybody buys the bottom ??? on: March 03, 2020, 03:24:39 PM
buying at the bottom is one way to get big profits when prices rise later. but it also depends on the liquidity of the token because that will be the main factor as the trading volume increases and the price can also go up. some success, but some failed because they did not get a good trading volume and eventually just died.
Big profits by buying at bottom? Don't you think why that coin was set to hit the bottom? I mean to say there will be no real potential coins will be hitting the bottom but only the manipulated coins are doing like that. If you are able to spot those manipulated coins then you can buy them at bottom so that you can make big profits when it will be bumped by the same group of people.

If those group of people will be moving to some other coin, then you will be trapped with the big losses. This is the reason all the coins which are all hitting bottom, might not be the right coins to invest with.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on player stats? on: March 03, 2020, 02:38:56 PM
I think this kind of betting is good for fun but if ever there really have player stat betting maybe i'll try to bet once only for a test. But since there's a lot betting games you can play then its better to give attention to only one betting games because there a chance you can win. And after you win, you can try some other betting games which give you possibly winning.
Completely out of context what you are posting. Betting on player stats do counts as sports betting and lot of guys make good money with it but I cannot recall a casino that accepts such events and accept deposits in bitcoins.

I do know a lot of casinos that would take bank transfers and other traditional payments and allow you to make bets but I think sportsbet.io is the closest one I can imagine who would offer such markets and events because cloudbet I have bet a lot and never saw such markets being offered though I remember at sportsbet.io I have seen such markets somewhere just can't recall how and which NBA game I saw those.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you share at least one gambler who have become rich in gambling? on: March 03, 2020, 12:59:40 PM
There are too many of them I have known here in my country. Those people who have won in mega jackpot lotto.
But after hearing their names I did not know where they are and maybe they are hiding after have won a huge amount. They become a multi-billionaire, of course, they want to protect their lives. That's why most people are now hoping to hit the jackpot in the lottery and they buy tickets daily for that hopes.
You made a good point because being rich suddenly comes with a lot of problems because you suddenly get rich in such lotteries you first of all are never used to of such life where you will be always on the stalkers who will harass you through various channels.

I do know a guy who has got rich from gambling but his story is a bit different and he belongs to the crypto world, actually he was fascinated by the gambling of crypto and bought around 2k USD worth of bitcoins for gambling, while he never took too seriously the gambling now that the price has gone bonkers and around 100 times of what he purchased at, he is now quite rich. So, while it is technically an investment but actually he bought bitcoins for sole purpose of gambling only.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: March 03, 2020, 12:27:17 PM
it would be the game if I enjoyed the game then for sure I would go back to their site,
Also the withdrawal fees is a issue for most of the gamblers and while sports betting sites like sportsbet.io and others do not charge fees there are a few sites that charge small fees but even that hurts when it goes from your withdrawal.

Having fun on their website would definitely bring me back but other than that I think the low minimum deposit and withdrawal.
Also the fact that on some casinos we feel lucky and others we feel not so lucky I don't know whether it is just the graphic representation that makes it look like or it actually is but I often feel that I am too lucky on certain casinos while on others I am sometimes lucky but don't feel the attachment at all.
