621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Relying on gamble wins is dangerous to mental health on: October 12, 2023, 02:36:43 PM
People needs not to put all their hope in games they are not sure of winning, because relying on it can be very dangerous to the mental health. Play gamble and remove your mind from the money that will be gained till it is achieved.

What’s fascinating is how he can can be sure to the point on relying already to the potential profit to a bet which has 1:2500 odds of winning. It’s small chance of winning which you can safely considered your bet to lose after it was place due to the difficulty of that bet to win.

It’s not wrong to think about the possibility of winning but not to the point of being sick after the bet lose considering how low the winning rate is. I will understand if he place a million dollar bet to a 1.01 odds to win since this kind of bet has low chance of losing and it’s really upsetting once you still lose with that kind of odds.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: October 12, 2023, 11:44:56 AM
Making gambling a full time job might be seen as risky but I still feel one can make gambling full time job and a career.

What do you all think?
It is risky as it is.

But like gambling itself there are gamblers that have found their lives well through it despite the risky scenario of this career. We may like it or not, in real life scenarios it's truly happening.

Thus, you just don't make money from being a gambler as you can see a lot of promotions happening in most social medias these days.

I’m not sure if it’s really possible in online casino since there’s a lot of reports of being restricted on the casino in terms of promotion and max bet limit once you have a consistent profit portfolio.

Having a successful gambling profile will surely makes you on the watchlist to the casino. Casino has the right to limit user which they find unprofitable. I’m not sure if this +EV players can maintain playing without any restrictions. I believe this is only possible on physical casino which they didn’t record our personal winnings since we don’t have account.
623  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [scam] Yas.bet refusing withdrawal after verification on: October 12, 2023, 11:40:52 AM

I will re-check this case and if there are some information can be share we can post here and and if there are some problem outside we always try fix

Thank you
Regards

I thought you already established that this user is already a scammer? Your previous post here is very certain and you want to close this accusation due to your previous investigation. Why not publish the findings here instead of re-checking the case?

The support on your website seems just prolonging the conversation by posting generic reply to extend deadline of waiting. The forum is fair on reviewing evidence both sides so don’t be afraid to post your findings here except for sensitive data by the the OP.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do crypto sport books have better odds than "licensed" ones? on: October 09, 2023, 04:01:24 PM
So based on the above, the smarter gamblers should always go to a sportsbook that has better odds. But yet licenses are still to this day are promoted as something better. When in reality it's just probably states wanting a piece of gambling profits. I don't think anyone should be fooled by a platform being licensed. Because if a sportsbook wants to do wrong to people, it'll do it anyway. Odds and reputation are what matters.

Nowadays, it’s very hard to spot non licensed sportsbook not unless you are hanging outside the Bitcointalk forum. Comparing the odds of crypto sportsbook to the local sportsbook in my country shows huge difference on odds since crypto sportsbook much better odds than the one in my local despite both of them has license in different license provider.

I believe even scam casino doesn’t offer too good to be true odds since they need to blend in to the legit one so that they will not be caught easily. For the reference on your context, Provide an example unlicensed sportsbook that offers high odds because I assume the majority is not aware here how it looks like.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: October 09, 2023, 03:32:08 PM
what should we do if we have lost a lot of money on gambling? Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?

If you are losing money that you can’t afford to lose maybe you should stop gambling already because it’s not for you.

You should not count your lose if you want to enjoy gambling. Consider your previous loss money as payment to the gambling experience instead of counting it and think what you can buy using it because you are just torturing yourself with guilt. I lose a lot on gambling but I don’t count it but rather I just count my profit since this gives me fun. It’s like fooling yourself to avoid being guilty to your previous mistakes and loses. Don’t chase gambling if you don’t have enough money for yourself!
626  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Binance P2P Merchant Experience. Anyone? on: October 09, 2023, 03:21:02 PM

Sa pagkakaalam ko ay need ng merchant ng round 500k and above tapos extra verification such as source of income at other documents bago maapprove.
627  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: F U D: Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubts on: October 09, 2023, 12:24:08 PM

The purpose of this thread is to first of all encourage my fellow newbies out there who are finding it hard to adapt to the forum or anything at all. Just keep on learning and writing until you can't keep track anymore. Knowledge is very important, don't let fear drive you away from anything, and when it's time to acquire bitcoins you'll be able to face the risks too, without fear. And with the right knowledge.

This purpose is kinda confusing tbh. You are talking about Bitcoin and how the FUD surrounding it while you are mentioning the forum now to encourage newbie to post relentlessly on the forum which is equivalent to spamming. There’s no connection too between posting here and actual Bitcoin investment.

You can gain knowledge by just reading and not posting at all. Can you make straight your  goal on this thread? I don’t see the relation of FUD on posting in the forum.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My regret for not adopting bitcoin earlier. on: October 09, 2023, 12:17:30 PM
Something Bitcoin has shown us is that many of us aren't ready to take up the risk that comes with unexplored ventures and feel better off watching from a distance not until someone comes out in the open to say this worked for them then we jump on board as the last passenger & when its deemed safe!
Yeah people doesn’t want something that doesn’t guarantee profit by doing it. It’s human nature that we only touch things when many already doing it and saw what’s the fruit of their investment that’s why only few manage to become a millionaire/billionaire while many still struggling to do menial jobs because they preferred sure income despite small instead of venturing out to the unknown with a possibility of huge return.

I’m once scared on Bitcoin investment too because my first investment on Bitcoin using my savings from school got scammed by some local ponzi operator in my country. Then I venture on learning how Bitcoin really works and manage to invest properly by just buying and holding it long term.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 09, 2023, 11:15:43 AM
If he's looking for fun, there are casino games that does not require real money to place a bet.

There’s no casino game that doesn’t require money and if you are pertaining to demo games then there’s no fun on it because you are not wagering money on it therefore it’s not gambling game.

Again, gambling is all about making money. The way you risk your money, the possibility of losing it in exchange of multiplying your money, the intent is very clear.

It’s true that you will have fun you make money but you can have fun too through the games you experience. For example when are down with 100$ then win a huge win equivalent to 100$. You didn’t have profit in general but your winning experience in the game makes you have fun.

It depends on how people enjoy the game but some people still have fun in gambling even though they lose some of their money as long as they are using funds that they can consider it as spare money.
630  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: October 08, 2023, 01:55:14 PM
it will not reduce the level of addiction to gambling if so, because indirectly this actually provides/opens up more gambling
to reduce online gambling actually by closing platform sites is better than carrying out such parades,
how can you think like this, closing online gambling sites will only make offline gambling boom again, you have to remember one thing that gambling has coexisted with humans for thousands of years, and until now there is a role for the government in maintaining the stability of the gambling business.  however, education about gambling is the wisest thing rather than just shutting it down and to make education about gambling happen evenly, it requires the intervention of many parties including gambling veterans, the government and active gambling business owners.

If we are just talking about decreasing gambling activity then he has point on his suggestion to decrease gambling activity through closing online casino since it’s the reason why casino is accessible even with people that is not really into gambling but become interested because they can play it anytime.

Those busy people that can gamble only on their free time and those underage gamblers will be limited since physical casino will never allow them to play. I don’t agree on either on gambling education either because it will open up an idea for non gambler people to gamble. People keeps doing harmful things such as cigarettes, alcohol and drugs despite many educational studies that teaching its bad to our health. This will be the same case to gambling since it’s an entertaining activity which common people really like to do.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralization vs. Decentralization on: October 08, 2023, 01:48:02 PM
But, do we need to acknowledge that both can coexist? Are there situations where centralization could be beneficial? Can there be a balance?

They are proven coexist since there’s a lot of decentralized that is now being centralized through the use of different medium such as exchange to regulate assets that was supposed to decentralized through the use of KYC to all customers. It’s not directly centralization towards the decentralized token but rather through the user holding it or purchase through exchange because it removes privacy of owning that particular token since it can be tracked through the use of blockchain record from exchange.
632  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Sportsbook to handle large bets? on: October 08, 2023, 12:53:24 PM
I can bet about 500k a game at cloudbet. site sucks but they have second largest limits to stake. gotta show your stats to them and deal with their host or you're wasting your time.

Well other casino can handle more than 500k max bet too if they are given limits based on their bankroll. I’m wondering if cloudbet offer 500k max bet on single pick by default account since sportsbook casino now control their limits due to the existence of arbitrage betting that using their casino to mix funds and abused their bonus rewards easily.

I heard that Duelbits has the feature to increase max bet too above 500k by arranging your limits with the help of casino support.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: October 08, 2023, 12:45:55 PM
No, not because I don't want it, but it is impossible. Even in a physical or digital casino, in that kind of industry, it is impossible to cheat because, of course, they do measures to make it impossible. The casino itself will not cheat you or trick you, probably because it's part of their business. I know you're all aware of this stuff, but in reality, most casinos do it. Instead of cheating, I'd rather wish to be super lucky in gambling, even if it's one big time. That's what I'm wishing for.

There’s no impossible thing to do in online even on casino. Some user still manage to cheat in the casino without being caught and some of them manage to cheat but caught when they attempted to withdraw. Casino use online servers with their website which is hackable with right knowledge on hacking.

I think maintaining on hacking the casino silently is what makes it impossible but they are really hackable since even exchange with a much better security system can be hacked by hackers either through inside job or backdoor with their server.
634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Common mistakes by unskilled traders on: October 08, 2023, 07:31:26 AM
The mistakes usually come down to not understanding the market, you cant trade when you do not even know how the market reacts. The 2 largest pitfalls for new traders are bankroll management and chasing losses (i have done this aswell, went as expected). It is essential to stick to a plan when choosing a bet size, what ever that plan may be (usually done based on riskiness). And never, ever chase losses (same as gambling), that type of emotional trading only ends in disasters.

I do experience this kind of chase loss thing whenever I open small margin futures trade then suddenly the price fluctuates on other direction of my position while I still have a lot of capital to DCA on my position so that I can average my buy price to the current price.

This kind of trade usually makes me liquidated since I never stop adding margin even though the trend is so strong that time. I learned this important lesson and never add my margin aside my initial margin on my trade.  Using a stop loss and take profit feature makes trading more convenient and less emotional error whenever there’s price action.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardwork pays not luck! on: October 07, 2023, 06:58:44 PM
After two three years I came to know how much money I had earned which I would not have earned doing an office job for 10 years.

What kind of office job you are doing that makes you earned less for 10 years of working compared to your 3 years of bounty hunting while bounty campaigns are worthless even during 2018 when you started since most of them are scam or low pay rate. Unless you are doing a menial job that gives you a profit less than a penny then bounty campaigns is really worth a shot. But it’s better to focus on a job that gives you guaranteed salary every month instead of relying to campaign that doesn’t assure you payment once finish.

I’m not sure either how you can say this testimony while bounty campaigns market becomes a total useless since the year you start doing it unless you are abusing most of the campaigns with thousands of your alt account to get a decent share to a small bounty pool.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 07, 2023, 06:25:37 PM

You can also make that argument for Russell Westbrook, there are huge downside on him but still the Lakers did pick him up and most likely regret their decision because at that time they acquire him, they thought that he can blend well with James and help the Lakers. And finally he was shift to the Clippers and so there are still team that are willing to take him. So the same case for Harden as well, many downside, dramatic, doesn't want to play defense, but I think there could be more teams still wanting to get his service even if he is aging or maybe lost a step or two with the 76ers. So the saga will continue this season until he found a new team and then the cycle of him and Westbrook might be the same.

At least Russ defense compared to Harden that literally just watching enemy to score on his face. Harden is not contributing the way he score during his stay on Rockets and OKC.
His attitude is already a pain in the ass while he should playing as a leader due to his seniority.

There’s a lot of PG out there that contributes both offense and defense while cost less dollar than him. He is just being paid high due to his performance not to the current one. I believe only few years of continuous performance like this will surely put him to Russ spot.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Education. on: October 07, 2023, 06:18:28 PM
Gambling education was not the compulsory one,but every gambler will have the attitude of teaching their children with good intentions.Because the children will learn the gambling in any way after their 18 years. If the gambling parents teach their children with all the strategy move used by them. Then the kid of the gambler will be in the one step forward at the same age of the gambling. If the parent teaches, then the kid will not get addicted to the gambling site. The gambler parent should said this to their children.
Children get real education from parents in life. It is true that gambling parents will not learn to gamble if their children are good at everything from the beginning. There is no substitute for the love and closeness of parents in the mental development of a child. Children thrive in their lives by watching their parents when the child realizes that the parent is attracted to his gambling a negative reaction is created in his brain. If they know everything in advance they are good at creative thinking and the relationship with parents is also very friendly.

It’s true that parents can give a huge influence for a children to gamble since they are supposed to be a role model for their children. But there’s some instances which children can still learn to gamble even without the parents influence. The community sometimes can influence children to gamble if most people surrounding the child is involved in gambling due to the natural curiosity of people.

Gambling is very addictive in nature that’s why it’s very easy to become attracted on it because it gives you an opportunity to increase your money just by playing games. Commonly people doesn’t think about risk of losing once they are new to gambling that’s why children is the typical victim of gambling once no one supervise them.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: They know the truth but they don't want to accept it, publicly on: October 07, 2023, 05:46:33 PM
Take it or leave it, some part of me still want to make free money from gambling, even when I don't gamble every day, and while I am a very cautious gambler.

Some people are trying to hide behind the cotton, stating that they are gambling for the fun of it, I will like to ask them this question if I can get them to answer.

Is there any spirit of good will when you intentionally give your money away in order to just have a good time gambling?

By thinking and asking like this clearly you are not using gambling as form of entertainment. You will not understand the gambling is for fun ideology if you are thinking that you are just giving away your money when you lose.

Gambling means you have a chance to win on your bet but it just happened that you lose. The important part is you have a chance which means you didn’t deliberately gave your money to the casino unless you betting mostly on high odds bets and expecting to frequently win. When you lose, it only means that your luck or betting management is terrible. The fun of gambling relies on how you will enjoy playing the game win or lose.
639  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO on: October 07, 2023, 05:35:28 PM
If you have any experience with live support theyre 99% useless. And yes i am seeking a decent vip host and being taken care of as i gamble

Normally, casino will taken care of like VIP once you already gave them a wager volume like VIP not before. VIP is earned through your contribution on the casino not because you are a VIP from different casino.

Can you share what you specifically looking for on a casino? Because BTT representative can’t do anything if your demand is already declined by the support.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provable fairness should be mandated by law! ONLY gamble in provably fair casino on: October 06, 2023, 04:58:51 PM
Making it mandated by the law is a real pain in the ass since online gambling has a licensed provider and auditors that acts to guarantee the probably fair of the game. We are not on the era which a lot of mediocre casino operates and scam players for a quick profit.

I like the provably fair system but it’s still useless for people that doesn’t know how to code or read smart contracts since you can’t verify of the probably fair system of the specific casino is real or not without examining the code for the seed.
