621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to bitcoin price if Solar superstorm 'wipe out the internet'? on: November 16, 2023, 09:11:18 AM

I just hope your blockchain/coding expertise is not as bad as your astrophysics expertise. Lol a solar storm is not hot enough to melt copper or any metal, it's the charged electromagnetic particles that are dangerous and cause electronic devices overcharge in split seconds, so if any device is unplugged, no harm is done to it since there are no active electromagnetic particles to interact with and cause an overcharge.  Also airplanes have the necessary shields to protect themselves from such incidents.

I have also heard that in space ISS has a special chamber where they put a mixture of sh*t and pi*s inside small bags and cover the walls with it, because it absorbs radiation.

It's ironic, earth core generates magnetic field to protect us from such dangers, and here we have another type of core protecting us from the dangers of outside world. Or do they?😉

In the unlikely happening of such event, all the nodes, miners, and entire data of the blockchain will be destroyed, so no more Bitcoin, unless someone protects an updated backup of the data in a safe chamber.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eloncoin will be massive. on: November 16, 2023, 08:33:52 AM
but I used my sense organs to think very well
Snip...
I don't have to go to a prophet to tell me that ElonCoin will be massively use like bitcoin.
Snip...
Social distancing is part of the technology and mostly personal privacy is one of the must vital thing to do in the cryptocurrency ecosystem
Snip...
Let wait and see the drama that is coming. ElonCoin all the way.
I know Nutildah already painted some brown on you, but I can't help it, your long shilling post is applying pressure on a private organ of mine and that's not the organ I use to process my thoughts as you do.

Even though I'm not a "prophet", but I can tell you a prophecy about the future of this scam coin, YEAH I just did.
I don't know if it's possible to shove an entire scam block chain/project up where it belongs, but I bet you don't want to find that out by having to experience it. And I would try the same social distancing advice if I were you. Because I wouldn't want to be associated with a scam when the drama begins especially if I want to earn honestly in this community WITHOUT trying to shill for scammers trying to scam the said community members.
~Master shill dig.😉

I really should distance myself from these woods/scam woods, Otherwise I could go full troll on these garbage posting shills.🤤, yeah the simple mentioning of going full troll made me drool.
623  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can We Turn a Nostr Public Key into a Bitcoin Address? on: November 16, 2023, 07:54:19 AM
How does Schnorr algorithm hide the public key, and if it does how would the verifying process go without the public key?
I thought taproot reveals the public key even without having any output transaction. Do you happen to know of any script well implemented and secure which I can use to generate taproot addresses?
624  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: November 16, 2023, 05:13:14 AM
Wait, do we need to report them? Well now I realize what a demanding bitch I am to expect mods to check this thread and take action, while I should have reported them with a link to the evidence. 😂

Edit, now that I think about it, I believe mprep once said it's Ok to post using AI, it was a long time ago and I haven't updated myself on mods' latest opinion on the subject, so I sort of hoped Cyrus would check this thread once a day and then hits them with his admin hammer. What a sneaky move right? To circumvent opposing mods.😉
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to bitcoin price if Solar superstorm 'wipe out the internet'? on: November 16, 2023, 05:00:33 AM
Well, if it's powerful enough that could fry industrial transformers, half of the world is f**ked anyways. Lol.  Solar storms carry radioactive particles as well. But the immediate and direct impact would affect which ever side of the earth facing the sun at the moment of arrival. So most of the modern cars would stop working, phones and computers are toast if they are on. Bitcoin would be the least of our concerns then.

626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eloncoin will be massive. on: November 16, 2023, 04:37:52 AM
Bitcoin paying signature, avatar etc campaign to look more legit and lure more victims because of the exposure : check.
Using name, face and quotes of the richest man on earth : check.
Doesn't care if spammers are promoting the "project" : check.
It's a staking scam with half the supply in one wallet : check.

Has anyone tagged the "dev team" yet?
Maybe it's best to wait for the scam to actually happen then send some useless neg trust, right? Or any sensible  and responsible person could see the red flags before the scam happens and give the proper red tag, something that trust system was actually made for, to prevent scams.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High fees are not bitcoin's destinty on: November 15, 2023, 11:23:49 PM
Paying for block space will always need to be a thing for Bitcoin to survive long term. The cost of that space will likely depend on the value provided. During times of calamity, I could see Bitcoin becoming very expensive to use. Maybe $100 for a transaction. Other times when block space may not be as valuable, it will cost less. This supply and demand bidding will be more and more important as block rewards are reduced.
Bitcoin is not a cellar to store wine no matter how good the quality of wine is, Bitcoin originally was invented to become a decentralized banking system, removing the man in the middle, but now we have men, women, children in the middle because everyone can do whatever they want.

Don't tell me if fees are $100 per TX, you wouldn't consider looking for cheaper alternatives. The actual concern here is : if a user starts thinking about alternatives, Bitcoin would definitely start to decline, it won't happen over night, but you would see it happening. Just imagine how long it took for these new garbage ordinal etc, to attract people, all it takes now is a similar situation where something new or even old is reintroduced to the world, then the actual originally intended userbase would migrate to the new system.

We already have the best examples in nature, e.g, by looking at how ants behave, once a new queen is born, their entire community splits, most will take the new queen somewhere else to start a new community.
Now we can sense that there is a possibility for a new queen emerging, but why should we risk it to find out when it's already too late? Even if %30 of community pledges loyalty to a new queen, we should kiss goodbye to %30 potential growth of Bitcoin.
628  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov remain the subject after being off the DT1? on: November 15, 2023, 11:54:28 AM
Man, you are relentless and when you are fixated on something, you won't let go till you get what you want. I LIKE THAT!
I think the reason as to why everybody dislike Ratimov is because of mr. Smith in his avatar, we all hated him with those sun glasses. I'm not kidding, this is a science of it's own.

You can try it by making a mask of the one person you hate the most and put it on your spouse's face, you will see how can that change love into hatred. Just don't do it during bed time. You'd get mixed feelings and might fall in love with your enemy.😅

Cases like this tend to happen over and over again, this is because we give some people so much credit and when they act in a way unexpected for us, we'd feel disappointed and even resent ourselves for being so gullible believing someone like that,  it's called idolization. So pick your heroes more wisely. 😉😘
629  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: November 15, 2023, 08:44:49 AM
If you read his "implication of collision" topic, he admits to be drunk, I don't condone such posting tactics, but he is not like the usual bounty AI spammer. Maybe a warning would send the message clearly, however I hold no influence over moderation.

Btw, the reason as to why I replied to that topic is purely because of the nature of the concerns raised on that topic, so in a sense, it was more of a nature of asking important questions.
630  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Tool or method for finding public key of Bitcoin address on: November 15, 2023, 04:59:56 AM
thanks for your response.

if we have a transaction like this :
https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/addresses/btc/13zb1hQbWVsc2S7ZTZnP2G4undNNpdh5so

then we have just input in this wallet address but we do not see any output from wallet,
so we can not gain any 130 or 66 character pubkey from sigscript.

we have only pkscript like this :
Pkscript
OP_DUP
OP_HASH160
20d45a6a762535700ce9e0b216e31994335db8a5
OP_EQUALVERIFY
OP_CHECKSIG

i want to ask you ,
if we have only HASH160 then How to findout publickey (comprssd or uncomprssd) for that address ??

Well, a bite that big might choke you, first you need to grow some teeth before starting to chew. 😉

If you haven't figured out how these puzzles and in general Bitcoin works, whatever you are attempting is not going to work.
Now to answer your question, if an address has any output( sending out) then you can derive the public key by going to this site called Bitcointools.site in there you can insert address and if that address has any spent transaction recorded on block chain, it will show it to you.

Technically though, the only way to find that address's public key aka puzzle #66, you either brute force to find the private key or you'd try to break 2 hash functions to get the "public key". To reverse 2 hash functions, you'd need to at least brute force 2^81 different  hashes, but brute forcing for private key would only take a maximum 2^66 key generation processes.

If by any chance you are from middle east, you might find your native language topic here :

631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High fees are not bitcoin's destinty on: November 15, 2023, 02:08:42 AM
@OP, so using ordinal cheat code makes our transactions cheaper? I wonder why aren't we using the same trick and insert our ACTUAL BITCOINS inside the ordinal "cheating space" as a trojan horse and fool the scammers miners to include our transactions faster? If you check the last 500 blocks you can see how these scammers are sliding dust amounts with normal and even low fees in bulk into the blocks. They are so desperate at scamming the community that they don't even care about the date and time of other transactions to include older TXs first instead of adding 2000 dust trash with the same fee rate as the old TXs waiting in mempool.

But they haven't realized that if there are no users, their attempt at "keeping the network safe" is futile, IMO we need something in place to keep us safe from miners, wait...... I have an idea! How about we ask everyone we see randomly on the streets to come and help us by making a "development team"? That way we can be assured someone at least has our interest in mind which we can then depend on them for anything coming our way. Oh wait someone is passing by, lemme ask him if he is willing to be a dev,...... well it was a burglar trying to empty the neighbor's house, which now when I think about it, he is more decent and eligible to represent us, since he stabs from behind and in the dark, while cough some people cough, are looking us right in the eyes smiling with their knives being on display online for the world to see. 😅
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: November 14, 2023, 08:34:45 PM

o.0 🧐 Can I play a bit as well with your new tool Zahid? 🤤 I don't know whether this emoji has died from drowning with a happy face or is just drooling 🤤, So that means we want both of your new scripts/ tools, the one with colors and this one. 😮

633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Angry at the high fees? That's what everyone predicted the future will be like! on: November 14, 2023, 07:00:33 PM
So the 2 previous posters believe in LN, Ok, but ask this from yourselves: why would people join a centralized network and trust  third parties when there are decentralized and fairly stable with low fees and fast confirm alternative(s)? Alright, do you know why dictators never admit that they are dictators?
Because they believe they are on the right path, they'd only realize their mistakes when it's already too late, with what I have observed it seems like we are collectively pushing Bitcoin to that phase of realization of mistakes. Saying that "this is decentralization" and everyone is free to do whatever they want and we shouldn't try to stop them because it's bad, it's censoring etc, is the definition of anarchy.

If a system can't prevent abuse, exploitation, that system will fail.
If a system can't differentiate harm and benefit, that system is useless.
If a system can't identify friends from foes, that system is not immune and will lead to cancer if not treated well AND IN TIME.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Question about Bitcoin network spammer on: November 14, 2023, 05:40:44 PM
How can I remove and purge all of these garbage data from a full node? Is that even possible? I consider Bitcoin's blockchain as a sacred ground, or as an ancient monument which should not be vandalized by these  garbage spams.
I honestly blame developers for allowing such atrocities and now by not trying to stop it. Let's go use doge guys, who is with me? Lol
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed transaction on: November 14, 2023, 05:13:50 PM
The only way to have a different receiving address using current standard wallets such as electrum is when you are canceling a transaction, if the seed phrase has generated change addresses, this new one you are seeing could be your own change address, but it seems you are confused yourself as what you did exactly.

This is electrum android, the one with yellow address on the left is me trying to cancel a TX, which is sending to one of my change addresses that show with yellow color, the other one on the right is me trying to bump the fee by selecting decrease payment which is sending to the same address.

I brought this up before: were any promises made to the donators as to the intended use of the donations?
Well, now since we are diving deeper in technicalities, we should ask this, will there be any stripers and private lap dances in a new forum, or were we supposed to get free lunch in there? What do we need here and don't have? If we have a functional forum, there is no need for a new one.  So if he loves the children and provides for them, forget about divorcing him.😉

Touching and cool story bro. 😉 congratulations by 2^256-1 are in order. I'm also planning to celebrate whenever I reach least trusted members from top 250-280 to top 50-100, I'm working on it as hard as I can.😅 6 tags and counting. Lol.

Just remember, always stay true and fair.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Angry at the high fees? That's what everyone predicted the future will be like! on: November 14, 2023, 02:03:08 PM
Ah, that makes sense. Actually, I do not understand those things very much and never thought to dig out. So bitcoin network needs more miners to to handle more transactions. But as far as I know, Bitcoin miners do not make much money in regular time. They make money during the congestion and by holding the reward.
More miners mean more competition and has nothing to do with how many transactions they can include in blocks, in order to have more TXs per block, everyone has to use segwit, taproot to reduce the size of each TX, and there has to be an increase of at least 1MB for block size every 2 or 4 years to increase the max limit.

There should also be some  penalty for those sending excessive dust transactions, sending non-tx data such as ordinals, NFT tokens, other garbage and junk etc, if you increase the fee for scammers, they will scam less and also will have to pay several times more than monetary-tx, regular users.

These things should be developed and implemented by the dev team the miners and nodes will upgrade to make the new changes effective, but if they refused to upgrade, people will see them as the real scammers behind these manipulations and start leaving Bitcoin.  Though this is happening even now, when they don't take any action to stop this fee manipulation, people will start to seek better and cheaper alternatives, and believe me when I say this, crypto users never signed a contract to promise to stay with Bitcoin no matter what, NO, once they realize miners are taking advantage of them, they will gradually migrate to other networks, therefore in a long run, these greedy miners will suffer more loss than what they are earning now.

Do you know how lust can control our behaviour? Either it be sexual, emotional etc. It's the blinding desire to want something so bad that it renders you unable to think about the consequences. For now people are drowning in "money lust" aka greed.

How to snap out of it? By becoming a user yourself and experience the situation as a normal user and then you can understand.

640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: please help me with this question on: November 14, 2023, 04:50:41 AM
If you send Bitcoin to the address derived from this invalid private key (1NLqpZnW746xjdAgnrTb56V4uZJiV4jjrU), the funds will be associated with that address.  However, since the private key is not valid, you won't be able to sign transactions to spend or transfer those funds.  In essence, the funds sent to that address would be irrecoverable.

Am I right?
If you can show me an invalid private key other than the group order, I will give you 5 merits, since we are on the first page, you can have your answer by reading other replies.

My offer stands for anyone who can show me an invalid private key.😉
