Hälfte wartet man 2 Jahre.

What a shameful outing for Algeria. Should I call over confidence or what. Afcon Champion could not register a single win in their group stage including those they tagged as minors. Algeria and Zambia have experienced the same fate. When Zambia won the Africa cup for the first time in 2012 they were knocked out in the group stages during the 2013 edition just like what has happened to Algeria. The whole thing is getting interesting and I hope the super eagles will not underrate any of these teams including the so called minor, because they are the real problems in this tournament. This afcon is full of surprises. I love this tournament the giant teams are being sink down to the earth and the minor team are being resurrated to the highest level.
I really thought the first two games could be a wake-up call for Algeria, but it wasn't and now they are out and it's deserved. It was the only big surprise (well, maybe also Ghana's elimination to some extend) in the first round imho.

For the final round the role distribution seems clear. In 3 of the 4 brackets towards the semi-final we have clear favorites: Nigeria, Senegal and Cameroon. If any of those doesn't make it it would be a huge surprise. The last bracket is a bit more open with Ivory Coast vs Egypt and the winner facing (probably) Morocco in the quarter finals.

XRP
Reef

Among the cryptos you mentioned above, there are two coins that I can talk about most clearly and they are these. Although these cryptos do not seem very active at the moment, they will definitely give the expectation in the future.
I was just going to say that I haven't read and heard much about XRP lately. I sold mine last year. Do they have many things in their pipeline to be released soon?
Apart from that I would go into the big Layer1/2 projects like ETH, SOL, AVAX, ONE and maybe go into the privacy branch with XMR, ARRR and the secret network. There are a few more suitable candidates if you do some research
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Tech - a powerful blockchain-agnostic ecosystem on: January 20, 2022, 01:20:57 PM

Tomorrow, Jan 21, 13:00 (CET), lock your $VIRES to start receiving protocol revenue. 24 hours till the program start! Learn more in Vires latest blogpost.

Wow, what an announcement. I didn't expect it to happen so quick. The Vires price does acknowledge it with a +80% currently. I am looking forward to the new functionality.

What will happen with the team token of the Vires team? According to the blogpost they hold 80% of all Vires. Will they lock theirs immediately too? Are there any plans to sell those tokens on the market?

Hat jemand eine gute Preisvorhersage-Glaskugel für LOKA?  Grin

DAR = $146M
MC = $134M
VOXEL = $105M

627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 20, 2022, 07:21:34 AM
Honestly,  nigeria is the best team since have been watch this AFCON , what interest me about the game is that they play so professional and it has been working for them. What makes feel excited about the match was my prediction that finally ended  with 2-0 and nigeria is now the winner of the group with 9 points.
Yea congrats to Nigeria, however they will have to prove that they are worthy in the final round (where few mistakes can ruin the best run)

Egypt won, but so far is a disappointment for me. I hope they can get better in the next games.

Today we'll see the last games of the group stage:
Group E
Ivory Coast vs Algeria
Sierra Leone vs Equatorial Guinea
For me the most exciting group, mainly because Algeria pretty much messed up so far. Algeria needs a win, so for them it is already an end game. However Ivory Coast is also the strongest opponent in the group, so this task won't be east. Ivory Coast is already qualified though, they might not give 100%
The second game is also interesting. At least one of those two weaker teams will make it to the next round for sure! Sierra Leone is a slight outsider here with 1 point less. They need a win to qualify to the next round. Guinea is safely through with a draw.

Group F
Gambia vs Tunisia
Mali vs Mauretania
Tunisia needs at least a draw and 1 point to make it to the next round. Gambia and Mali are already qualified. Mauretania has practically no chance anymore (unless the win like 4-0)

https://medium.com/vires-finance/lock-vires-to-receive-protocol-revenue-24-hours-till-program-start-fda911903c06

edit2
Absolute Kaufpanik  Shocked Shocked Shocked

630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: January 19, 2022, 07:31:44 PM
I guess polygon and solana as a network project have great assets to keep to wait for the next bull. I also see on the network they publish a lot of NFT. Now we are the era of NFT, while waiting for the bull to come, I want to keep between polygon and solana.
Generally I agree with you, but I would spread it out a bit more. BTC, ETH, BNB and potential projects that could move up further like AVAX or ADA are also a must. Generally it's not so bad if you could invest into a CMC Top20/30/40 or so Crypto ETF  Wink
Investing in a smaller project might give you a larger gain, but likely it'll be a total loss once a bear market is in full swing
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the top metaverse tokens to consider as a long-term investment? on: January 19, 2022, 05:10:42 PM
It's definitely SANDBOX and MANA for now because there already many big brand invest on those metaverse and the project also looks promising and developing progress is also there. Eventhough metaverse projects is still early and there will be a lot of improvement once it launched, the concept of metaverse is already make a lot of people interest by imagine it how it will be when it's on perfect form.
They are currently the big players for sure, but this doesn't necessarily mean they are going to stay on top. In the crypto space many formely big currencies are now not worth much anymore and I could imagine MANA and SAND going their way. It is worth to invest into them now, but one needs to constantly monitor whether competitors appear that could take over the crown.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I Don't Use Brave Browser on: January 19, 2022, 01:33:02 PM
Wow, I am surprised to see so much hate for the browser here. I thought crypto fellows are open minded and interested in solving problems that the traditional companies have not yet tackled.

I am also very careful with wallets that are included in the browsers and I share security concerns, but the idea is a very good one.

2. Brave Browser tip model is more comparative with tier 1 countries. I'm using Brave Browser for the last 6/7 months, till now I only got 0.063BAT(0.06 USD). Now how can tip my favorite content creator with this penny? If you are from tier 3rd country, I'm pretty sure you also do not gate proper tips funds to donate content creators.
I am using the Brave browser since the beginning of the month and I am now at almost 1 BAT. You can choose how many ads you want to see and how much you are willing to donate to the content creators. Maybe you have your settings on (almost) no ads?

I agree the distribution model might not be ideal yet, but you have to start somewhere. There is no perfect solution just coming into existence. If more people use the browser than more content creators will be included into the distribution, just because of the increasing popularity.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 19, 2022, 12:03:16 PM
Yeah i was also completely surprised about the result of that game as Dortmund was the huge favorite before the start of the match. St. Pauli had a great start though and was leading with 2-0 pretty quickly. Of course Dortmund created a lot of pressure after that because they desperately needed to win because the DFB Pokal was probably the only realistic title chance that they still had until yesterday. They only managed to get one penalty out of that 60 minutes of pressure though and that was simply not enough. The chances to win the cup for the remaining teams have drastically increased now. If Leipzig advances today, then they are the favorite for me to win it this year.
Yea I also think Leipzig is going to make it. They shouldn't have any problem today against Rostock and besides them it's "only" Hoffenheim, Gladbach and Union Berlin as serious competition available. I think those teams will all be the winners today and advance into the next round. In the long run the smaller team will all go out one by one

635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 19, 2022, 06:49:06 AM
From the last games of the group stages, most vital countries have performed less than expected.
Although Nigeria won't be part of this as they're looking forward on winning their last game, qualification for the next it sure but then they will be the first country to win all of their three games/matches.
Nine points in total as they will be hoping for the best in the next rounds to come.
Although this doesn't have to mean too much yet. For a team to be successful in such a tournament they need to 1) survive the group phase and then 2) perform well (and be lucky) in the elimination phase. In the past we have seen many teams that won all their group stage matches but then disappoint when they are facing the first stronger opponent in the final round.

For today's matches i don't expect any surprises
Guinea-Bissau vs Nigeria - I do not expect Nigeria to lose. However, they might conserve their energy in this one and might not be motivated enough to win either. Odds are 1.68 for them to win.
Egypt vs Sudan - Egypt so far has shown their bare minimum, still it was enough for the 2nd place in their group. They can't lose this one as it would threaten their progression into the next round. Odds are 1.20 that they win, my guess is that it will be a clear result with at least 2 goals difference. 2-0 or 3-0, 3-1 are likely
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 18, 2022, 06:18:33 PM
I'm not expecting many goals, especially from the already qualified teams, in this final round. I'm expecting a lot of 0-0s and 1-1s.
And you are already right for Senegal scoring a 0-0 against Malawi. Senegal is the favorite team at the bookmaker's for winning the cup but not much was seen of that today. Anyway it wasn't necessary either, Zimbabwe won surprisingly against Guinea. Zimbabwe is still out, Senegal wins the group and it looks like their first two rounds in the final rounds could be fairly easy games as well.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I Predict $20,000 for dogecoin in 5years time on: January 18, 2022, 09:59:31 AM
Cant believe people still posting here. A guy has created this topic to troll everyone and dont even bother posting here for months, or close it, and people keep posting that it will impossible for dogecoin to reach that price. I bet every more or less active forum member poster here.

9 months has passed since this topic was created and dogecoin price decreased two times. About 9/60 months passed since $20k was predicted and price dropped from 33 cents to 17. It will be a miracle, if in 5 years dogecoin price surpasses $1.
I don't think $1 is unrealistic if the whole crypto market goes further up. But for Doge to reach anything >$1k we would need a major inflation of the $ or Doge would need to become the world currency (the latter is pretty unlikely  Grin). I don't think it will go up much this year though.

639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 18, 2022, 07:29:38 AM
You are correct from a non sporting perspective. However if they do not play full power each game their morale and boost goes down and now they risk the direct elimination game to be not completely 100% concentrated. From a sporting perspective any team should play full power in each game in order to be 100% concentrated for the upcoming game in a tournament like this, this is not a local league where you can let some players at rest because there are not so many games here.Anyway we will see in this upcoming match for Cameroon their true power or not.
But this is exactly the reason why a rare situation like Cameroon had yesterday is used by the coach and the team. They were qualified for sure, so they can let important players rest a bit and don't have to give 110%. Of course, the players from the 2nd row that might have been given a chance to play they might be very motivated, but overall motivation and game quality suffers in such cases.

We might see a similar thing in Group D, where Nigeria only needs a draw to secure the first rank.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 17, 2022, 05:41:28 PM
I was about to place bets on these games, but then I thought: there can be a lot of draws and surprises, so I gave up placing bets.

result of some games (games are not over yet):

Burkina Faso 1 - 1 Ethiopia

bookmakers were giving Burkina Faso an advantage, this result is really a surprise, but there is still time for Burkina Faso to win the game

Cape Verde 1 - 1 Cameroon

Cape Verde really plays well and is giving Cameroon headaches with this draw, but Cameroon still has time to win the game

It's only 10 minutes left now, it's looking like 2 draws. All the teams (except Ethopia as they will be out) can live with this result. 4 points should be enough to qualify for a 3rd rank team, which would be Cape Verde if it stays as it is.
The big filter for the small teams will then come in the final round. I doubt Cape Verde and Burkina Faso will survive the next round.
