621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency to invest in right now? on: February 04, 2018, 04:19:51 PM
What is the best cryptocurrency to invest in right now?
I think that's Bitcoin and Etherium since both of these cryptos' market prices are now low as well as with most of the cryptocurrencies. But I think, these coins are more likely to recover due to their large community established through years which will generate demand in the market that will make its value reckver from rhe situation they are in, now. It will be wise ro invest to these because there's a high chance that these coins' value will eventually increase which will yield to huge profit.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: Those who have invested in bitcoin when it was 18k-20k$ on: February 04, 2018, 03:58:44 PM
I have a friend who bought bitcoin during this peak season. When the bitcoin price was 18-20k USD. Now he is sad and disappointed seeing that the current price has dropped to 50% and more and he is afraid he is going to lose all. In short he lost his hope and faith in bitcoin already. Has anyone here did the same as he did? If you did invest in that amount what did you do to your bitcoin, did you sell it or still holding it?
Selling will not be a help but rather will just be a contribution to make its market value continue falling. Just continue holding because once its market price starts to rise, your investment will be redeemed and might as well earn profit. Don't be afraid and invest now that its price is low to earn bigger profit once its value fully recovered.
623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins be converted into cash? on: February 04, 2018, 03:43:50 PM
Can bitcoins be converted into cash?
Yup. Bitcoin and other cryptos can be traded or converted into cash or fiat varying on the market price of a certain coin, and in your case, Bitcoin, that is currently priced at 9000 USD. This is possible through exchangers. You may also use e-wallet to convert your Bitcoin. You may also pay bills with the use of Bitcoin but that is only if Bitcoin is legal to your country.
624  Economy / Economics / Re: wait for bitcoin prices to go up on: February 04, 2018, 03:27:23 PM
This is the least we can do but also the best. We can't do anything but to hold which is better than to sell to avoid losing money. Declines on its market price as well as with other cryptos are just normal and natural. Just take advantage of the dumps and invest to it to earn huge profit as its market price continue to increase in the following months for Bitcoin.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: February 04, 2018, 02:52:04 PM
The fall and collapse of the crypto-currency exchange rates do not scare investors in comparison with December 2017, but rather vice versa - new crypto funds are launched in the US and Europe. Offering the Swedish exchange Nasdaq Nordic exchange-traded note for bitcoin and ETH, Coinshares Group is launching two new funds: "Active" and "Large Cap" . The first offers a fairly aggressive strategy for investing in promising cryptocurrencies, the latter uses a more passive strategy and a wider basket of digital assets.
If you are in a position - hold.
If you have the finest money - buy in parts.
Everything goes to the fact that in May we are expected again the rally
I am thinking of the same thing. I agree that this backdrop is just temporary. And is also normal since it is not only Bitcoin that is experiencing it at this moment. The best thing to do still is to hold. If possible, it would also be a good idea to invest in order to earn huge profit in the future once its price fully recovered or become even more expensive
626  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL or SODL? on: January 28, 2018, 09:19:28 PM
What is your trading strategy right now?
Just continue holding and avoid selling. Its market value at this moment is indeed falling but that's just normal. Bitcoin is volatile so its market value is expected to fall everytime. So holding still is better because on every downfall, its market price is expected to eventually increase. It will still depend to a user whether to hold or not but it is just that holding is more profitable
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: January 28, 2018, 08:34:56 PM
I just created this thread to gather opinions ..
Ethereum is next to BTC?
This is believed for years. Etherium is believed to be the second of the best since Bitcoin is considered by many as the number one cryptocurrency. Etherium has already established connection to its user which resulted to a growing community even if its market value is way low compared to Bitcoin's, it has a more stable price. There are Alts which has bigger market value compared to Etherium but still, I think Etherium is the best among alts for having a quite stable price.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the end for bitcoins ? on: January 28, 2018, 02:16:31 PM
Very recently I read an article , which assumed bitcoins to be exactly like the Dutch tulip mania , the Mississippi bubble and the south sea bubble.

The author of that article (which was published in the economic times ) said it's now time to move away from bitcoins , the market has ended and the sooner you forfeit the lesser will be your loss.

What do you guys think about it ?

Definiely , it is not. Bitcoin is just experincing declines on its market value and I think it won't pull Bitcoin down. Its market value is still expected to be expensive this year. The best thing to do right now is to just HOLD and invest while its market value is still low. Let's just wish that positive thing will be to Bitcoin as this year is passing by.
629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin at $20K ? on: January 28, 2018, 01:51:23 PM
Any predictionist that predict bitcoin will bullish run up to 20k$ this year ? Year 2017 bitcoin hits 20k$ but dramatically down at 11k$ ! Looking for advice if it is good to invest in bitcoin or nahh ?
Your suggestion is highly appreciated !
Thank you !!
I am no Cryptocurrency expert but I believe that Bitcoin's market value will increase this year. Although  we are having a rough start this year, I am hoping that positive things will come to Bitcoin as months are passing by. Bitcoin is now becoming more popular and it will positively affect uts marjet demand as well as its market price so let's just wait and hold.
630  Economy / Economics / Re: How do I get bitcoin? on: January 28, 2018, 01:32:41 PM
You can earn Bitcoin in various ways such as through trading, mining, bounties and direct investment. But I prefer Bounties or ICOs. The good thing with bounties s that, joining is free. It will just take a period of time to earn profit because most of the ICOs lasts for months including the dustribution of rewards. Profit is also good and that's why for me, it is advisable especially for newbies.
631  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin can't push prices higher on: January 28, 2018, 01:04:18 PM
The Bitcoin bulls have been defending the $10,000 mark for the past few days. But they have not been able to push prices higher, which is a point of concern. The cryptocurrency has broken out of the down trendline one, which shows that the momentum on the downside has decreased. We can expect a few more days of range bound action between $10,000 and $12,000. It is difficult to predict whether the upside or the downside move comes next.
That is because we are just having a hard time. It is indeed a rough start for Bitcoin this year. Patience is important. We just need to wait for its value to again, increase. A stable market value of 10000 is way better than falling market value. Let's just be thankful that its market price did not fall that much. Continue holding because surely, uts market price will eventually increase.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Weak Hands lose money, strong hands makes profits in this game! on: January 18, 2018, 08:57:06 PM
I have been through this time and time again. We go through a dip and everyone is running for the hills or selling their coins.

The trolls come out of their caves and the panic nanny behaviour kick into action, triggering a massive sell off amongst the weak hands. <Newbies & Speculators>

I woke up yesterday and I saw the price was just above $9000. My first thought was, "Damn, I need to buy quickly, before this goes up" and I did. ^smile^

Most people woke up and the first thing they did was to fire up a browser and to read the comments of these trolls and media shills and consequently selling their coins in a state of panic.

The weak hands will lose money and the strong will thrive in this game. Hodl on people! <Buy the Dip>  Grin
Yes that's for sure. Those who are determined to earn huge orofit in the future will have a strong heart to hold than to sell whenever its market vakue is falking. The recent backdrop truly made most of the users here worried. There are lots of people who sold their Bitcoin those who did not will be surely smiling at this moment because its market value is now starting to recover so just HOLD.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: January 18, 2018, 08:34:57 PM
I am sure we touched the bottom today. so i am going to real Estate Dealer for selling my house and buy bitcoin. I suggest you all do that
Will it be risky for you to do that? We all know that Bitcoin is risky despite of being profitable. Selling your house for a volatile investment is a bit ambitious. It would be better if you will invest your income rather than selling house. I know that most f the people here thought of the same thing too. You better think  of it hundred times to avoid regret in the end.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin Down? on: January 18, 2018, 07:46:04 PM
Looking as to why bitcoin is down
The recent backdrop is rumoured to be caused by the Bitcoin ban on south korea. I am not sure about it but the thing which is important at this moment is that, its market value is now gaining its momentum and again, increasing. We should take advantage of it and invest , now that its market value is not that high. Its msrket price will be more expensive whivh will give profit to its users .
635  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the predicted value for BTC in end of 2018?????? on: January 18, 2018, 07:28:44 PM
lets give your comment...................
Well for me it will be over 20 000 USD since Bitcoin's marjet value almost had it to reach this amount last year it just happened that backdrop took place. But since Bitcoin's market price  is now recovering, and if this thing will vontinue, surely that is something to look forward with. I don't care how much will be its final worth before this year end, I will contiinue investing into it for the future
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news The market began to rise and return !!! on: January 18, 2018, 07:11:03 PM
Congratulations to who have patience The market began to rise and return  Shocked
Absolutely true. And surely, those who chose to hold will be happy with this and maybe those who sold will regret this. It is again a lesson learned. We've been through lots of backdrops and we should be used to it. Panic selling will not give us a better option. Whenever there's a backdrop, we should rather invest and hold than to panic and sell.
637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of having Bitcoin? on: January 14, 2018, 12:38:22 AM
The only thing I know about Bitcoin is that it is a virtual 'money' but what are the other use of it? What are your advantages for having a bitcoin?  Roll Eyes
The main advantage is the profit that a user will get in the future. Having Bitcoin from ibvesting into it or working on campaigns, will be more profitable in the future especially if you are a holder. If you will hold the amount of Bitcoin now, chances are high that huge profit will be earned in the future since its market value is continuously growing.
638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expecting bitcoin drops below 10K within 24 hours, anyone with me? on: December 22, 2017, 02:27:08 PM
dropping more than 23% now, currently around 12700. Wasn't it almost 20K few days ago!?
I think the backdrop will stop at 12 000 USD and won't go less. Bitcoin's market value at this moment is continuously falling and it is probably caused by high transactionsbdue to the season. We should rather invest now that its value is becoming low than to sell just because you are worried of the dump on its price.
639  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: December 22, 2017, 01:40:55 PM
When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so).
What do you think which is more beneficial short term investment or long term investment
I bet that long term investment will be more benifitial to an investor since the profit from the investment is exoected to be big. But the only downside is waiting for a long period of time. If an investor is determined, waiting won't be a problem. Jist like in Bitcoin wherein investong for a long period of time is really promising.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 21, 2017, 11:27:12 PM
Hey all,

I’m conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and I’m especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 10 minutes.

Click on the following link to go to the survey - https://uvacommscience.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3lzs2sI13cKH1m5?source=bitcointalk

If you are interested, I could post my main findings here.

Thank you.
The only reason why I choose Bitcoin is that, the rate of increase on its market price is high making it profitable to invest in it . Also if it is legal to your country, you will be able to use it on daily transactions and at the same time storing will make your wealth bigger since its value increases as time is passing by which is definitely an advantage for a currency.
