561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Panic selling. on: July 28, 2018, 02:21:05 PM
How do panic selling affects the market and why does it affects the coins value?
The continuous dumps in the market scares the investors which results to panic selling. The outcome of such action is that, it will contribute to the market downfall and would just make the situation worse. The market value will then continue dumping and more profit will be earned. Holding would be essential in this scenario in order to stop the downfall.  But we should keep in mind that dumps are temporary so there's really no need to panic.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You should be carefull of what ICO your going to invest with! on: July 28, 2018, 01:55:10 PM
how sure you are of what ico are you going to put your money to get a lot of profit with, can anyone give me some advise to know what ico is going to be a successfull in the end if their campaign?
It is really hard to determine which one would yield to huge profit from investing because there are many projects to choose from and are being released in every single week. Usually, the projects that are succeeding in the market are those that are having high market rating or popularity. These projects would surely be profitable investing with because these projects are surely promising.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: July 28, 2018, 01:34:42 PM
Bitcoin has come a long way and come really come to stay. As a matter of fact, anytime some people who know nothing about bitcoin are introduce to bitcoin about how bitcoin works, they channel all their attention to whoever is passing the information to them by listening attentively. However, after developing the interest in bitcoin, they quickly revert their interest in bitcoin the moment they hear of the volatile nature of bitcoin, thereby, deciding not to invest into it anymore. Guys, what are some other factors that scare people from investing into bitcoin?
The main factor in my opinion, which scares the investors the most to engagr in cryptoinvestment is the market volatility or the sudden changes in the market value of the cryptos from time to time including Bitcoin. This is the the problem that thr investors are worried about because there's a risk that profit will be lost if they will choose to invest ]n Bitcoin and to other cryptos.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic loss me 10800$ , so patient is the key on: July 27, 2018, 04:04:13 PM
Dear Members

Recently I faced a bad luck. here the story

I got IOTX from GATE .io 28th of may 196000 @ .00004600 ETH.  Then after one or two hour i sold it to @ .00004800.

After 3 days means June 1st , one IOTX went to .00014ETH.

if i sell June 1st  196000 * .00014 *590 = 16189$
Investment is = 5300$
so i have lost = 10800$

so in this story if i could wait 3 days , i have profit of 10000 USD. so in this case i am saying please be patient. wait wait. good coins always give a good reward to you

Indeed true. The loss is temporary and that is already a reason to be patient and hold. Waiting is essential whenever extreme volatility is being experienced in the market. Some people in the cryptoworld are completely losing profit due to lack of patience and being eaten by panic as what have you experienced. Holding will more likely to result into profit since recovery is always expected to happen.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid getting scammed. on: July 27, 2018, 03:27:07 PM
Unfortunately, uncertainties particularly on scam projects cannot be determined in a single glance. Investors and bounty participants can only check the background information of the team behind a particular project in order to have some assumptions and insights about the project on whether it would not be or be a scam. Victims will only accpet the fact that such unfortune is always possible to happen in cryptoworld.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: July 27, 2018, 02:51:42 PM
Selling won't solve the problem in the market. Waiting is way better than to sell due to panic because the market dumos are just temporary. Once the recovery takes place, profit will then be earned. But it would still depend on the token that you are holding. If it is promising. waiting would be the best thing to do but if not, selling on the other hand would also be an option to make in order to avoid worse scenario
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: July 27, 2018, 01:34:52 PM
If that's the case, face the consequences and be firmed in holding into your tokens. The dunps in the market are just temporary therefore, increase is always expected to happen after a couple of weeks. Just avoid selling in order to avoid complete loss of profit. Once the market starts to rise, profit will be again earned so we just have to be patience and calm about the uncertainties regarding with the market volatility.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT DEAD on: April 24, 2018, 09:55:08 PM
BTCBTCBTC
Bitcoin is not dead lol. The price is getting low but bitcoin will not die quickly we can recover it in somehow. Many people thought bitcoin is secretly dying I just wanted to say that its wrong Bitcoin will back soon to higher value.

BTCBTCBTC

Those people who thought bitcoin is dead do not see the potential it has and do not know well enough that bitcoin's price before was even lower than what it is today. Bitcoin would not be dead because we are still here; those who believe in what bitcoin can do, and those who still use this to trade, invest their money. What is good about bitcoin is that as long as people would use it, it won't disappear that easy.
569  Economy / Economics / Re: will next decade be the bitcoin era ?? on: April 24, 2018, 03:40:58 PM
Some users of bitcoin might say that hopefully, in the near future, we might see that in every country, the currency used is the bitcoin. In everything we purchase in malls, physical shops, bitcoin is there to take over the transaction in terms of money. If the increase of people using bitcoin will continue, then there might be a change in the lifestyle in terms of transaction of the people in the world.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: April 24, 2018, 03:21:35 PM
Actually Bitcoin will not be responsible for world poverty, government has. Maybe a country has a bitcoin and almost everyone uses it and they earn in different ways, but how about the poor ones who don't afford to have the tools for using bitcoin? This may be clichè but education is the key to end world poverty. Being literate can bring you anywhere. But if we have corruptive government then I guess this problem won't be alleviated.
571  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin solve the worlds problem? on: April 24, 2018, 01:31:34 PM
Bitcoin is more a technology for technology. On its base there are many Altcoins, which can really solve world problems in the 21st century.
At one time, electricity was useless until lightbulbs, radios, etc. appeared.

Nowadays, we may not see visible effects of using bitcoin in different countries, but for sure, in a specific field, Bitcoin will have a contribution that is remarkable, and worth remembering not only tobthat specific field, but also in the whole world. In a technology-driven community, introducing bitcoin to people is easy, and it may even have a personal impact on the citizens, and in that we may solve our problems in our surroundings.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t panic! on: April 24, 2018, 12:15:48 PM
Hello, why everyone is so afraid of crypto market falling again? I think this 1000$ bitcoin growth is the new beginning of rapid growth of all crypto market! Guys don’t be so depressive, stop panicking and selling just relax and bitcoin is going to reach 20000$ in summer! Cool

Same here. I do not doubt the prices going down because I know sooner or later it will recover, and it will be back to its original price. Many users are getting disappointed and surprised because of up and down of the prices, but all most calm down because surely it won't stay low. Just continue on what we are doing and everything will be fine.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: April 24, 2018, 10:05:51 AM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

I also have the same thoughts. Unfortunately, as a currency (a stand alone currency), bitcoin has not fulfilled its function. As a form of asset, many people are into bitcoin because of this attribute. I found nothing wring with this, because bitcoin is still bitcoin and it is up to the users on how will they look on to it. It also has its own purpose depending on the people.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Ethereum on: April 24, 2018, 08:54:10 AM
It is difficult to predict something for the future as crypto-currencies are not regulated by anyone, but bitcoin appeared first and is very popular. I think for safety you need to keep money in different coins.

It is true that we cannot predict it ourselves on what happens to these to main crypto currencies, as well as we cannot control either of these two. As for me, I also see Bitcoin as the main currency that will be used in the future, but the least we can do in using these currencies is to support continually by still using it for different useful purposes.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the digital dollar on: April 24, 2018, 07:54:00 AM
I think it's not far if i say that dollar and bitcoin are actually the leaders of their platforms. What's also crazy is how this forum served as the source of consumers and a big factor in increasing the acceptability of bitcoin by people. Really the  design and everything about this  community is genius.

I agree with what you have stated. As we can see, among crypto currencies, Bitcoin is the most popular and most used, etherium and other altcoins depend on the price of the bitcoin. Many investors use bitcoin, because it is open worldwide, and trusted by many.

Forums like these help people to understand more about crypto currencies, and to gather opinions and thoughts from the other users.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins for illegal activity on: April 24, 2018, 06:22:20 AM
Well, it is not the problem with Bitcoin but the human involved. There are also cases whereby people buy and sell drugs or involve in any illegal activities using fiat.

This is true, and as users here of bitcoin, we should be responsible for the things that we are doing using bitcoin because if we are being reckless in using this, we must accept the consequences and we do not even know what will they be. To be sure and safe, it is better to avoid something that will ruin our lives in using bitcoin so that we may continue to receive the benefits of it.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Party's over. Go get a job, you lazy animals... on: April 24, 2018, 06:06:59 AM
Strange times we live in. Crypto speculation, YouTube views, paid content. Yet no real contribution to the human evolution. A good professional is getting harder and harder to find. This generation is full of fucks who pose on YouTube, unboxing shit, and earning 100k dollars per month. Or "great economists" who are betting on a zero-value digital coin. This is insane. Go get a fuckin job, get a degree, go invent and participate in a project that has real benefits for our technological evolution. You are chasing ghosts and the next generations will have you impaled as the idiots of human history whose only occupation was to gamble and make selfies in moronic view-hungry vlogs on the internet.

So yes, hold your currencies like your life depends on it. Shallow and boring.

BTC < 8k USD. The measure of our generation...

Crypto currencies are not all about that. As what you are stating here in your post, you hate those who paid great values just because of promotions and advertisements. Obviously, you do not know the real focus and purpose of launching ICOs. You may have seen a lot in the ads, and this is one way of introducing crypto currencies to people. You are just dumb enough to conclude everything you don't even know.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: April 23, 2018, 09:33:51 PM
Hello, Friends...

I Recently listen about the ICO (Initial Coin Offerings)! But I'm confused, Is it a Right Investment or Not?

Anyone Suggests me!
Before investing on a certain ICO, you should first observe carefully the project, the team and the manager of it. This is the best thing to do to avoid any fraud or scams lingering around all of us. We can all say some ICO are a good investment while some are not that's why we are the one to make the decision on joining that project or not depending on what you think is right.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: April 23, 2018, 05:57:14 PM
Many bounty campaign give token..often token bounty has not been paid .. you already exist in the market .. after the price paid it down drastically ... if we hold the token .. later will be able to rise or even added down the price of token bounty
Well it usually depends on you if you are going to hold your bounty token after getting it. If you want high profits, you should sell it right away after the distribution while the value is still high. While if you want higher profit, waiting would be adviseable but you should set your self ready first since the value will fall suddenly.  Just trust and believe that the value will rise again.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: April 23, 2018, 05:20:58 PM
I just created this thread to gather opinions ..
Ethereum is next to BTC?
We can all agree to that knowing that ethereum right now has the nearest value with bitcoin among all the other cryptocurrency existing. Though that's the case, I still don't think ethereum will soon replace bitcoin since when it comes to popularity and price expensiveness, bitcoin is still on the top. Let us just keep on supporting both for the greater good of everyone here.
