41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating shit TOKEN make good profit ? on: January 22, 2020, 04:38:16 PM
Hi guys
do u think if i created a shit token (with no project) and add it to shit exchange can i get profit ?  Grin
i mean im preparing to create a token and add it to new exchanges with law fees
and i promote investors for ex to give them 50 per cent of any ammount they bought
from the token for ex if you bought 10000 coins i will give u 5000 coins for free
do u think this idea can make investors buy it ?

Doing such will be a selfish one because doing shit coin just for the sake of earning is like being a scammer because you were promoting or creating a coin that has no value and you wanted to attract investors just for the sake of your own good. Added to that, you will just add another invaluable tokens in the market which has no use because it has no value, it will be just adding up into a numerous quantity of existing cryptocurrencies which is for now is already crowded. If you want to profit or money, do it in a legal way wherein no one will be victimized. Also, instead of doing such, why don't you just think of creating a real one by generating new ideas that can be turned into a successful project but this time it aims to have use and value for the society. Instead of doing such schemes to earn money, we must invest our time thinking for a greater solution to lessen the existing problems we have in our society and not adding up just for the sake of earning money. I know generating money is all we need but let us do it in right and legal way wherein we cannot cause any harm to other people around us.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin provides more long-term profits on: January 22, 2020, 03:59:05 PM
many choices, the price is relatively cheaper than bitcoin and the opportunity to make more profit. Maybe there are some benefits if I spend more of my money investing in altcoin and holding it for the long term. But the negative value that I found is that the influence of bitcoin is too big on altcoin until now.

You have a point on that. Added by the fact that there are lots of existing Altcoins in the cryptocurrency market, there are really lots of opportunities you can acquire for getting into Altcoins since you have varieties to choose from and you can also do have many Altcoins all at the same time. But the question is, how long can you wait and hold? Because to be able to earn profit, you still need to trade and make use of the assets you hold for the sake of yours to earn. Although Altcoins provide opportunities of earning, but still Bitcoin have a large edge above Altcoins which makes it the cryptocurrency of all time. Its potential of growing and improving in terms of all aspects are really that big and observable compared to what the Altcoin market can do. Actually both Bitcoin and Altcoins are good for long term holding. But for the part of Altcoins, you need to be picky to choose your best Altcoins and to assure if that will be good for long term holding, reliable or legible because not all Altcoins are good or worthy to be invested in.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By now, is it worth to invest in major altcoins for the long term? on: January 21, 2020, 05:39:51 PM
For me, despite of the down fall in the part of Altcoins, I still find it worthy to invest into the major Altcoins because they are the ones that are capable to have the potential of growing in terms of price and also worthy to be hold for long term investment. As the year 2020 enters our calendars, the price behavior was observed to be doing so well not just for the part of Bitcoin but also for the Altcoins as well specially for the top ranked Altcoins. This just proves that despite of having serious down falls, still Altcoins can be able to regain from its loss and be worthy for investment. So for me, investing into major Altcoins are still worthy for long term nowadays.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Numbers Continue Exploding in Spite of ICO History on: January 21, 2020, 05:17:25 PM
The number of new altcoins and stablecoins being offered to the general public continues to increase. This is in spite of the fact that the Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) that started the altcoin craze have met mostly failure.

The beginning of 2020 saw a host of new coins enter the market, often with specialized intent. Many of the new altcoins are designed for specific usage within platforms or games. Nevertheless, the diffusion of attention into these coins represents much of what is wrong with the industry.

To read the full article, click here

It looks like the numbers keep increasing, as they don't seem to care if they fail or succeed.

I just don't know why people don't get tired of losing their money to these new projects without even doing deep research. As you can see, only a tiny handful of projects do actually succeed, but most of them failed because of their dependency to the crypto market situation.

Like there's one project 2 years ago, where they still "developing" and giving us "quarterly updates" which isn't that exciting for investors as that project is still not on exchanges. There's another "exchange" ICO a couple of years ago, where until now, tokens cannot be traded in their own platform.

It's the reality nowadays for ICOs, IEOs, STOs, you name it. Calculated risks.

I agree and have noticed the same thing which is for me I find no relevance because mostly the newly created and launch projects that offers new coins for the part of Altcoins just share the same features and it seems that it is just a quick idea due to the reason that those ideas have already created before and it just keep on getting over and over again. New Altcoins just make the market crowded due to the fact that there are already lots of existing cryptocurrencies within the market in which most of them are not valuable and I find it unworthy for their existence. I am not saying that all Altcoins are unworthy but most of them do and only few of them have the potential and the capacity to grow and be beneficial for the investors.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market moves in like a mystery! on: January 21, 2020, 04:43:58 PM
Lately the market is showing some positive gains in BTC and most of top altcoins too, but how long it will sustain? and the most common question was is it an organic gains? or just an artificially driven? for me the market movements was remain a mystery maybe it was an organic gains or just artificially driven.

No one will literally know about the price movement of both Bitcoin and Altcoins because as we all know, cryptocurrencies are always open to volatility in which changes in terms of price can happen in no time so the price movement is really unpredictable and that will be too hard to determine on which direction will the price go every now and then. We have started this year with a very kick start because of what we have witnessed with regards to the price movement behavior of Bitcoin together with the Altcoins that rely or depend their prices into it. Also, the top ranked Altcoins are also showing positivity. Let us just be contented on what is currently happening and just hope for the best things to come in the next days, weeks and months instead of over thinking if this is just temporary.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not trust New wallets with your fund on: January 21, 2020, 04:11:59 PM
The reason why i don't like new wallets
1. They always have low users which means they have nothing new to offer, even if new users try them out, once they don't see any thing new they bounce back to their old wallet, repetitive at work

2. Many new wallets on playstore can't be trusted, they have different set of aims, some have access to your private keys but they will fool users thinking you are the only one in control of the private keys and some don't  give out private keys to users, they work as online wallet

Once you have seen that there is something wrong into the new wallet you wish to try, better back off and do not put any amount of your assets into it because added by the fact that it is new, we can never tell what will happen into your funds once you put some into. Even if they look attractive and promising due to the features it have, still it will be best to check it out first by exploring the whole wallet and taking background information about it through thorough research to answer your inquiry. Also, if you wish to use new wallet, better check and limit the information permission you grant so that they cannot access private manners that must not be shared to other. An addition to that, if you are already comfortable and you still find your old wallet to be still working good and making you have convenient experience, better stick into it because you have already proven it safe and secure.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: January 21, 2020, 03:34:33 PM
For me, I am pretty much sure that cryptocurrency is the future of currency for the reason that this type of currency was in lined with the modern technology we do have today. As people are seeing the future world will be filled up with the well improved and highly modernized technology, then, it can also be considered that cryptocurrency is the future of currency. It will be possible enough to make cryptocurrency our future currency if and only if all the people across the globe can be able to adapt on using as well as having access with crypto because supposedly, a currency can be able to be used by any type of people for the means of using it as payment option. Which I was wondering and believing that can possible to happen in the near future once the advent of the modern technology continuously improves and people will be able to adapt on it. As long as people are using technology, they can be able to use crypto as long as they have prior knowledge and understanding about it, cryptocurrency can be the future of currency.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project or Useless projects! on: January 20, 2020, 04:18:28 PM
I need some details about this project "Hypnoxys". This token already listed in coinmarketcap and number is almost 16**. But I'm still curious to know is this project still legit to everyone. Here is some details about this project https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5110522.0

If you have doubt or think that the project you have discovered seems to be suspicious at the first glance, then you must take precautionary measures before diving in into it. It will be best to let yourself knowledgeable about the project you have found to be able to seek information you need to help you on doing decisions. The way you have approached the members of the forum seems to be a good thing because you really are being careful not to fall into a trap of promising yet scam projects out there. We must also do the same thing so that we can gather first needed data to establish a good decision so that we will avoid being victimized by such schemes of scam projects. I haven't heard anything the project you have mentioned so it will be best to at least be careful before engaging into such projects like that within the crypto community.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 20, 2020, 03:52:01 PM
It's 2020, yet crypto and Blockchain technology are still in their infancy. The introduction of smart contracts (via the Ethereum blockchain) to the mainstream world, has opened up a plethora of possibilities that were never imagined. Many companies have launched their own tokens via ICOs, IEOs, and even STOs. On the hand, stablecoins have been the hottest trend within the crypto space as they provide the convenience of Fiat with the security of the Blockchain.

Now, imagine if a mainstream company creates a Blockchain token that could be used at Gas Stations worldwide? This would definitely increase adoption of crypto and Blockchain tech within the mainstream world like never before. After all, paying for gas is a necessity these days for transportation. This, coupled up with self-serve, could be quite revolutionary. I'd imagine people driving to a gas station and paying with crypto from their phone in their own car to get their gas tank filled automatically. This hasn't been implemented yet, but it would be cool to see it happen someday.

What are your thoughts? Huh

Well, I guess that was really interesting in a sense that the concept of using cryptocurrency to buy gasoline as gas stations will be in lined with the latest technology in which crypto will be the mainstream or the ones that will be used for payment options. It will be another great service to be provided once that idea of yours will be implemented because indeed that your idea of using cryptocurrency will provide the user convenience on filling up tanks of their car and by just easily processing payment in terms of cryptocurrency from your phone will provide a fast and hassle free payment option because gasoline stations have been part of our daily lives and it will truly push people to adapt on using cryptocurrency.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest alts of 2020 on: January 20, 2020, 03:25:12 PM
What do you think the hottest alts will be this year?

Very interested in getting strong opinions on this.

We all do have different perceptions toward what will be the hottest Altcoins for this year 2020. In my point of view, and I strongly believe, Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin are the ones whom I trust to become one of the hottest Altcoins for this year. Maybe other people will still not appreciate the improvement on the prices of those Altcoins that I have mentioned but still, I find those three valuable and do have the potential to grow out this year. We are just getting started for this year so there are still lots of happenings and possibilities to come forward that can contribute to the rising of their prices and can make them belong and be coined as one of the hottest Altcoins of this year 2020.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much projects, good projects cant reach crypto ethusiasts on: January 19, 2020, 05:32:46 PM
Hello

So i have been in a crypto world for about a year now (yeah you guessed it, right after that BTC pump) and I have started to notice that the crypto industry became full of pointless ICO projects that are spending millions for promotion and promises they do not fulfill.

I have been checking new projects that I find on coinmarketcap or that I see in crypto ads or twitter ads and i have come to the conclusion that they are mostly the same or they do not really stand out.

My question is how do newly developed projects that are not an ICO and don't have millions for ads even promote themselves? Where can you find them?

I have said this already, but i believe there should be a section where we could discuss projects that we believe have a bright future and need help with their promotion.

Too many good ideas die because of lacking funds...

Thoughts?

It is true that there are lots of existing cryptocurrencies from different projects that are just sharing the same thought of ideas that is why they do not really stand out from one another. Many existing cryptocurrencies in the crypto market that is why there are also lots of variations you can see but it is hard to sort out good cryptocurrencies from worthy projects because of the numerous count that exist within the market. Sadly, good and potential projects that have unique ideas are not being appreciated due to low funds and reward for bounty hunters that is why such projects do fail and do not have a chance to stand out to reach the attention of potential investors. Due to the reason that people are more likely to be attracted to bounty rewards that they can obtain from a project that causes good projects with small funds are being set aside and fail. Potential projects are everywhere in the forum but you are needed to have patience to seek for them on your own because mostly potential projects are not discovered because of promising projects that offers big rewards but fail to fulfill it in the end.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: could it be most project don't succeed? on: January 19, 2020, 05:04:04 PM

my Questions

Is there no other ways BTT can track and trace such people posting such project in the forum?
Is there no way we can run free and fair project in the system without us being scammed or tricked?

With regards to your questions, Bitcointalk forum can keep on track and be aware for existing scam projects if the members of the forum like us will be reporting such malicious projects on which we suspect to be operating just to scam people all throughout this forum. It will be hard for the moderators to keep on track with all the projects being posted in this forum because scam projects are most likely promising and really looks like legible to the eyes which makes it hard to identify. Due to lots of existing projects being posted every now and then, it will be hard to keep on track with it because moderators are still people who works on a limited time frame so if we do want to create a safe work space for the sake of all of us not to get scammed, we must work all together to raise awareness about such projects that are suspected and proven scam to let other members know to avoid such projects so that we can lessen or totally have no victims. We can achieve such work space that is safe from scams once we all work together to prevent such projects to keep running into this forum.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: January 19, 2020, 04:23:56 PM

I believe, like many, that this year will be very good for the crypto world. Assuming that the adoption of cryptocurrencies increases considerably this year, is it possible to see Ethereum surpass the $1400 mark?

Looking at the current price chart of Ethereum at this very moment of the year 2020, Ethereum's price is currently playing at $160+ which is too far far the price prediction or expectation you are looking forward to be the price of Ethereum for this year round. Although that can be possible to make happen since we are just getting started and the first month of the year 2020 is just about to end so we do still have 11 months to spend with, I think there will be lots of happenings that can take place which might trigger the improvement of the price of Ethereum to get into a pump this year. I am not saying that the price mark will be enclosed into $1,400 but it can be possible  to be close to that value. But as of the moment, we can never tell through prediction because there are still a lot of possible things to happen that can contribute to the increase or the other way around. Let us just all hope for the best things to happen not just for Ethereum but as well as for the whole cryptocurrency.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: January end , can BTCtouch 9k? on: January 18, 2020, 06:53:52 PM
as we see trend in last 2-3 days, all markets were positive, prices increased from 10%-300% in 48 hours.
Now the trend is going down. what you guys think? January end BTC can touch 9k usd?

As of the moment, and at the last time I checked, Bitcoin have already achieved reaching the $9,000 price mark even the month of January is not yet ending. So, with this status of Bitcoin's price, we can expect that the price can go even further to maintain the $9,000 mark or exceed the price expectation to close the month at the price near $10,000. As we can see and observe, the price of Bitcoin is taking small steps on rising which is a good indication of a more progressive improvement even this year 2020 have just started. We must just hope for the best things to happen this year round for the price of Bitcoin and most specially when the upcoming event which is the Bitcoin halving takes place and wait for its after effect on the price of Bitcoin in which I do hope will be favorable to all of us.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will there be an altseason this year? on: January 18, 2020, 06:24:09 PM
We are already into the new year which is 2020 and it also means that we are all having new hopes and expectation for what will happen into the whole cryptocurrency industry for this year round. Since we have already seen and observed after a couple of days and weeks of this first month of the year that the price of Bitcoin show an increase, we maybe all suspecting and expecting that the same thing will happen into the part of Altcoins as well. Well, I am also do expecting that Altcoin season will happen this year 2020 for the reason that I am not just holding Bitcoin in my account but also Altcoins as well which is for me will be beneficial if both cryptocurrencies will have an increase this year. We are just getting started this year so we still have a lot of time to witness what will happen into the Altcoin market. Let us just hope that the failed expectation last year of Altcoin season arrival will make happen this year which I guess be favorable to all of us.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run or Bull Trap on: January 18, 2020, 05:58:14 PM
Sudden market movements these past few days have been somewhat bullish, I know we've got the whole halving thing in view, but are we really moving out of the bear market? If so can I buy or just short this b*tch. If the latter, what's your call price?

I think the price movement we are witnessing this early stage of this year 2020 is an opening or preparation for the expected bull run this year and not a bull trap because we are already moving out and seeking for a new hope this year for a prosperous cycle for the cryptocurrency industry. It is good that even the upcoming event which is the halving is still a couple of months ago which is suspected to trigger the rising of the price of Bitcoin along with the other cryptocurrencies that depends on its price, we are already seeing the price movement of Bitcoin into the positive direction which is a good indication that even without halving, the price can move up into a desirable price. What more when the halving is done and the after effect takes place? So the expectation is really big that bull run will be triggered once again this year 2020. It will be best for you to buy as long as you can afford to buy while price can be categorize as affordable as of the moment but still it will be your decision depending on your intuition on what will happen on the prices.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you prefer to hold for more than a year? on: January 18, 2020, 05:27:23 PM
I personally prefer to hold bitcoin and ethereum. They are good coin and more potential to hold for long term.

We are sharing the same thought because I also personally prefer to hold into both Bitcoin and Ethereum not just for a year but for a long term run. I find both Bitcoin and Ethereum potential or good for long term run that is why despite of the down falls that happens after a couple of months of bull run way back 2017 that lasted until the very late 2019, I still keep into holding with my Bitcoin and Ethereum and have never give up nor loose hope because I do know and understand why such thing is happening and I believe into their capacity and capability of growing in a span of time. Although it takes time to happen, at least it is worth the patience and time of waiting. I have been satisfied in the start of this year 2020, for the reason that even at this early stage of this year, Bitcoin has already risen up its price which is a good indication for a better opportunity to come this year. I am also waiting for Ethereum's price hike to take also its place, it is still early so I expect that there is enough time to wait and see what will happen next to Ethereum.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: January 18, 2020, 04:51:12 PM
The best thing we individuals who uses cryptocurrency can do to help lessen or somehow resolve the problem regarding cryptocurrency crime is to make simple or small actions to take precautionary measures on how we can first protect ourselves by securing our own accounts in which we are safe and secure that we are the only one who knows and have the access on our assets from our online wallet or even with our hardware wallet. Next is that spreading out legible and reliable information about such projects that you think is a scam by providing informative proofs that can prove that it is really a scam project. By doing this, we can spread awareness to everyone to avoid such project and report it so that the victims will be lessen or much better is that no one will be fall into the trap. Doing such small yet helpful steps can contribute on creating a safe work space for all of us if we will be helping each other around to be able to lessen the crimes which relates or involves cryptocurrencies.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoin Price Be Good In 2020 ؟ Is it true? on: January 17, 2020, 04:58:29 PM
As we can see, the cryptocurrency market is doing well this past few days and the first two weeks of year 2020 is doing great for the fact that we are already witnessing an all of a sudden rise up on the prices of cryptocurrencies which have started of from Bitcoin which is up to this moment is still continuously rising up its price as hours, days and weeks are passing by. This show a positivity on the part of cryptocurrency after a long down fall. Since Bitcoin have already risen up with its price, certain Altcoins which basically based or depend their prices from Bitcoin have benefitted into the latest happening which those Altcoins have also risen up their price value. We are just getting this year started and the crypto market is just heating up and we still do have so much time to enjoy the year and for sure we can see that aside from Bitcoin, and Altcoins that depends on Bitcoin price, other existing Altcoins in the market will surely show positivity and will showcase a good price behavior all throughout this year 2020. If not within this month, we still do have a couple of months to have and we'll see what can happen into the Altcoin market for this year 2020. Let us just all hope for the best things to come and happen.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: token supply on: January 17, 2020, 04:36:16 PM
sometimes I think if you look at the amount of token supply in such a large amount that trillions and trillions after the project runs several months or years, the token will be burned, what for if you make tokens with a large supply, but will be burned, ...?

 Roll Eyes

I agree. It doesn't make sense why there are projects that creates a very large token supply during a bounty which literally makes it a big project at a first glance due to a massive token supply and a large percentage provided for the campaign allocation to be distributed to participants which includes bounty hunters as well as potential investors. For me, it becomes a trick or strategy to attract bounty hunters getting into their project because it seems to promising and attractive being rewarded by large amount of token after the campaign. But it is not working like that because a massive amount which is not distributed as a reward or the remains from the recent token sale is being burned due to the reason that they are the excess tokens that seems to be unused. After thorough observation, it doesn't really matter how much token you have because the price still do matters that most since no matter how massive amount you have if the price is being dumped right after getting listed, it will still be a low income for you.
