261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to Expect in the Cryptocurrency Market Forecast by 2020? on: November 25, 2019, 04:08:17 PM

2020 is gonna bring a lot of exciting changes and innovations in the cryptocurrency industry. The market analysis reports a steady rise in the no. of cryptocurrency and blockchain-related startups. Also, the ICO’s, mining, dApps, etc. are about to increase.

The blockchain industry is on the rise and expected to bloom in 2020. Many established companies like Coca-Cola, VISA, Walmart are adopting Blockchain in their day-to-day activities. Based on these analyses, it is easy to say that Cryptocurrency is the future.

Read here: https://coinpedia.org/information/cryptocurrency-price-prediction-2020/

Let me know your point of view on this?
For me, making assumptions at this moment would be absurd knowing that there's no consistency with the market value of cryptos and also, the prices are currently experiencing extreme market volatility making it impossible to predict what would happen next. But I am hoping that things will again be positive in the market because it has been more than a year since the market value of cryptos hysterically dropped in a sudden.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 25, 2019, 03:40:59 PM
What do you think the crypto world needs at the moment? (I'm talking about projects)

In my opinion there is no real platform/website that offers everything you need. For example, news, some kind of trading tools or indicators, educational program maybe hot articles etc...

Regulation I think should be prioritized by this industry in order for mass adoption to follow. If such thing would happen, I do think that the market value of cryptos would be less volatile than what we are currently seeing. Also, it would have long term effect for cryptos and also, future projects. This might also encourage more people to enter this industry as investors or project managers. But I would also agree with the idea of one platform= 1 function or purpose only to open up more opportunities to more projects.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How soon the blockchain industry can be adopted, is this within 2020? on: November 25, 2019, 02:42:33 PM
Cz posts on his twitter account oftenly that " slowly but surely"  I am worried about it. Guys, can you predict how slowly the adoption can be achievable? would It take within 2020 and this 2020 can be remarkable in history? \
No assurance still, also it is more blurry at this moment given that the market value of most cryptos are not that positive unlike before. The situation will just give other countries reason to doubt with regards to the adoption of the crypto industry . If ever there would be a recovery next year, I still doubt that it would be enough for other countries to do so. Adoption of a currency is not that easy especially with cryptos' case wherein volatility exist in nature.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: November 23, 2019, 05:21:33 PM
Holla friends, I want ask opinion and advice regarding the situations of altcoins and BTC today
You know , today market are show bad price for all coin and token.
Is th eright time for make some profit with buying altcoins ?
In my opinion, buying at this moment would be advantageous especially once the recovery of market value of cryptos take place. But only invest to those coins which are popular since the market value of cryptos are determined by the demand and supply framework. Be careful from investing to coins that are created by popularity alone. Good coins to invest are BTC, LTC, XRP, and the likes would be good options of investment to make profit from.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best investment in crypto since 2018 on: November 23, 2019, 04:53:10 PM
Hello Bitcointalkers,
What is your best investment in the crypto space since 2018? As the 2019 year is ending, so, we can have a discussion about it. For me, my best investment was the Counting House ICO in 2018. The sale price was 1100 CHT token for 1 Ethereum and later it's price hit more than 3 USD per coin. I am still finding a project like Counting House, but haven't seen yet.
My best investments still are Bitcoin and Ethereum not only from the year of 2018 but eversince I have started engaging to crypto industry. The market value of these two cryptos are indeed volatile but are still showing a bit of more consistency compared to most of the cryptos especially alts which makes investing into these, not that risky in my opinion. I am hoping that once recovery occur, my investments to these two would again be more profitable.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: November 23, 2019, 03:32:07 PM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?
Simply because there are still projects which are succeeding and that is an enough reason for bounty hunters to still continue promoting projects at this moment and since bounty hunters are just investing their time and hardwork without needing to invest an amount of money, but are still having chances to earn profit. It is just a matter of patience with regards to the market behavior right now. Wait for recovery to occur and expect for sone positivity eventually.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 23, 2019, 02:16:40 PM
I don't think Holding is foolish. It simply implies how much trust you have for your investment and it clearly shows how you trust your decision as an investor. Keep in mind that you are engaging yourself on investments and it won't always be good days for such strategy to earn profit. There are many factors that affect an investment and choosing to be patient over negativities on your investment is simply admirable.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top Crypto for 2020 on: November 20, 2019, 04:22:36 PM
Well!! Did you know? 2019 is coming to an end, the cryptocurrency market is booming really well in the crypto space, as day by day the crypto is performing really well in the crypto space.

Several crypto experts predict that bitcoin will go up in the upcoming years and other cryptos like ripple, litecoin, ethereum and one of the top crypto for 2020 to invest.

What's your take on top crypto for 2020?

Why not just wait for the actual recovery and avoid making assumptions that would result to regrets? I am always seeing posts regarding with the uprise on the market prices at the end of a certain year but the fact here is lack of assurance. This happened last year wherein despite of the expectations of the majority, the market still continued to fall this year. We might see some positive changes but always look for what would last long.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins should i buy? on: November 20, 2019, 04:01:22 PM
I have some altcoins from early 2017 and some BTC and ETH too. I am thinking about investing some more but don't really know what i should be looking into.

Below is my list of coins.

BTC, ETH, NEO, ADA, LSK, LTC, Stratis, Waves, ARK, SHIFT, Pivx, VTC, GRS, Powr, Tenx

When i bought in early 2017, Statis, Waves, Ark and ADA was popular, how are these coins today?

I am not interested in low market/very new coins.

Thanks!
A good list already. In my point of view investing to a few particularly with the huge crypto names in the market would be enough to be safe from regrets but at the same time earn profit once recovery occur. Investing to the new coins despite of the potentials, would still be a risky decision especially at this moment whereas continuous pumps are still blurry  Personally, the holdings I have last year are still the same, because of the doubts that I have when it comes on investing at time like this.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN BULL RUN TO START ON THURSDAY (11/21) AFTER DIFFICULTY ADJUSTMENT? on: November 20, 2019, 03:38:37 PM
"BITCOIN BULL RUN TO START ON THURSDAY (11/21) AFTER DIFFICULTY ADJUSTMENT"

https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-bull-run-to-start-on-thursday-after-difficulty-adjustment/

Do you think this is true?  Sure would feel like Christmas.
I still doubt because the market behavior still is obvious and can be seen with our naked eyes. The market still, is having a hard time to make a comeback and it would be impossible for the recovery to take place within few days from being downed for a year. Maybe there's a possibility for such thing to happen before this year end but it won't change the fact that there's no assurance. What we should focus doing right now is to be more patient.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will There Really Be An Altcoin Season or Just a plot to Keep us in the Loop on: November 20, 2019, 03:16:13 PM
There could be but for sure, no one knows when will such thing happen in this industry wherein the market still, is struggling with the volatility of the prices of crypto. Recovery is still blurry so assuming for an Altcoin season would also seem to be untrue. Also if altcoin season stands for overtaking Bitcoin's place, it would seem to be absurd knowing how huge Bitcoin is to be taken down by alts.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ANALYST: ALTCOIN SEASON has almost arrived on: November 20, 2019, 02:56:50 PM
Not yet still, in my opinion. Indeed we would see some increase when it comes to their market prices but I highly doubt that those changes would be enough to conclude that the uprise for Altcoins has already started. We should be patient still and avoid making absurd assumptions because it might bring danger to other people by encouraging them to invest as this early and regret it eventually.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coin PUMP ? on: November 19, 2019, 05:54:05 PM
What preparations do you make to see the coins to be pumped?
Are you going to wait for a higher upward trend or choose to sell when you have a chance?
I would probably sell once I see a chance to do so in order to be safe from regrets. Just being practical, if there will be a pump, until when will it last? Or will it even be consistent? Might be a coward for thinking such but let's just be true. Most of us are regretting not doing so way back 2017 because of greed, or for waiting for the market value to be bigger of simply, asking for MORE. The market in my opinion, is more complex nowadays we which makes coins not for long term investment just unlike before.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: November 19, 2019, 05:32:19 PM
What happens if BTC is still rally to 100K ?
ALTS ?? dump to zero
at the moment BTC sideways until end of the year

this time currently the last choice for ALTs
take actions or die..!!!

good lucky
If we would base on what happened in 2017, wherein the market value of Bitcoin broke records, the market value of most of the Altcoins, will also rise if ever the market value of Bitcoin will again increase. I cannot exactly determine the relationship between alts and Bitcoin but during dumps, as far as I can observe, there is no pattern of parallelism, but during uprise there is, especially if Bitcoin is the one that leads the bullrun. Would like to know other's opinion about this.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one makes sense on: November 19, 2019, 05:06:54 PM
Which one should come first? better to get through bounty before ICO/IEO fund raising or better to run bounty while fundraising is ongoing... Suggestion need
I would suggest running a bounty during the crowdsale or fundraising in order to have parallelism with the outcome. If one would go first, the hype or popularity of the project has a tendency to fade. Also, this kind of process is what I saw to the previous successful projects in this industry, which is in my opinion, proving it to be effective if not interrupted by the market situation.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be careful with projects that offer you great prizes, that is not a guarantee of on: November 19, 2019, 03:34:24 PM
yes the fact is like that, in this crypto industry there is no full guarantee for you. Even in traditional investment, nothing guarantees you profit. There will be no certainty in future income, and if a project claims their tokens will become more and more expensive over time, it is very likely that they are lying. Of course, that does not mean that they are wrong, however, ensuring that everyone in the inevitable benefit is not responsible, to say the least. If you see a project that claims that your profits will grow tenfold in just six months, it's far more likely to be a good old Ponzi scheme than it really is, as seen in BitConnect.
So, no matter how this promise actually looks, if you see that the project offers you sky-high profits for literally no effort, it probably means that they want to make that profit out of you.
Hype are just due to the assumption of the majority and won't guarantee profit because things in this industry won't go always with what is expected.  There are projects which are offering interesting deals and benefits but the outcome turned out to be the opposite of the outcome simply because of the market situation. What I am trying to point out, there are other possible factors to determine a project's outcome and not only based on what the project is offering or promising to the investors.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What type of Cryptocurrency is used in the Deep Web for transactions? on: November 19, 2019, 03:05:51 PM
I know that the deep web mainly uses cryptos as a means of transactions for people who want to buy things over there, but what type of cryptos are mainly used when making those transactions? It’s just a curious question I have in my mind.

I am not sure if this is all but as far as I've experienced, the cryptocurrencies being used are Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple. Maybe there are other cryptos being used but I am not surprised that these coins are being used because there are the huge names in this industry which is enough for people to trust using it. Other people are mentioning other coins but by far experience, these are all that I know.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: November 18, 2019, 04:06:21 PM
I would surely go for Ethereum over Litecoin for the reason that it is more popular in this industry. The reason might be shallow but if you are not new in this market, you would understand my point at the first glance. Popularity makes a crypto strong since its market value is dependent with the demand and supply. If a coin is popular, demand would be high as well as the market volume which makes it a better investment at this aspect over LTC. But still, LTC is a good coin. It is just that I believe that ETH is a better investment.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to Invest in 2020 on: November 18, 2019, 03:46:49 PM
The year 2019 is reaching its brink. 2019 was an average year for the crypto market. The market capitalization took a drastic change and the prices of most of the cryptocurrencies crashed. However, the crypto market is sort of leaning towards the green region in the last quarter of 2019.

Now, you might be pondering which cryptocurrencies are considered as a “Good Investment” in the upcoming 2020.
In my view Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple (XRP), Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash are the top crypto in 2020.

What's your take on this?
Isn't it too early to assume which one would be a good investment for next year? I mean, we are still on the present year and problem still, is so obvious. The market still, is not showing recovery to most of the coins in the market. Making absurd assumptions will just tempt investors to drag themselves into regrets once their chosen coin do not make it on the process of uprise. We may recommend the huge ones, which is more likely to happen, such as BTC, LTC, XRP, BCC, and the likes but it won't change the fact that recovery has no assurance to occur. Therefore we should focus on the present and continue being patient in such situation.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any mobile games (android/ios) where you can earn crypto while playing? on: November 18, 2019, 03:23:29 PM
Hello community.

I was wondering if there is any free games available on the play store where you can earn some cryptos while playing.🎮👾

I dont care about the amounts ... i just want to grind some free cryptos on my spare time.

If a similar topic has been discussed before just close the thread please

Best regards
Are you referring to gambling games? because that's the only way I think a crypto would be used within a game, not unless items within that game would be purchased through cryptos. Going back with gambling games, there are gambling sites for such activity and the only thing I am not sure of, is if there are mobile version of those sites. I have tried playing on such sites games such as baccarat, poker and other betting games. Would be also following this thread to see if there are any, because I am also interested.
