I know no tournament involving BTC, I only found the Urban Terror server where for each kill you gain BTC, and each death you lose BTC.

Thanks, didnt know about it. It is popular?
I might try it later this week

Sounds awesome, but aren't those kinds of servers infested with hackers?

The game is no more. It disappeared some time ago. Don't confuse with some other game with the same name while googling though.
6283  Economy / Services / Re: Any trusted members interested in gaming? on: November 22, 2013, 10:17:08 AM
I'm interested. I can oversee the drawing for a small fee. PM me for more info.

"No more room in hell" is a free game too. I tried it out because it looked similar to left 4 dead. But, it's a lot different. Although, I liked the look of it and will be testing out some of the other maps in the next few days.
I actually played it before it was on Steam. It really focused on realism (which was something I liked): damage, amount of bullets, movement...

Yeah, they've proven that by buying Plants vs Zombies. Plants vs Zombies is filled with buyable content. The prices are rediculous as well.

Free to play pames with buyable items/content are good only to try out 1 day and never spend anything. These are low quality games anyway
Yeah. Most of F2P games suffer from a serious Pay2Win syndrome as well. Smiley

All but like two of those games are either free-to-play, or were part of a Humble Bundle.
And those 2 were probably bought on 75% off Steam sales.
6289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we still early adopters? Or did that pass after 2010/2011? on: November 21, 2013, 01:37:28 PM
The fact that Bitcoin still gets major price flunctuations, tells that Bitcoin has still a small community, since minor occurrences really bumpmthe value.

I also played Dungeon Defenders on the free weekend. And, I'm considering buying it because I enjoyed playing every minute of it. It was frustrating at first when I didn't know the objectives.
Same here. After I've got the hang of it, it was immensely fun. Maybe someone else will giveaway some free DD keys.

Anybody tried Elder Scrolls Online? I have a beta key, but it only lasts a few days, so I'm not going to download the game. :-)
I haven't even heard of this one.
I actually did. Big fan of the TES series, however TESO is developed by other devs, than the original series.

Ick, the last thing we need is yet another MMO.  Sounds like they're just trying to cash in on it, I'm not gonna bother.
Yeah, most TES fans say it's gonna be like another WoW. They're probably right. However, I'm curious to see the whole Tamriel, which wasn't shown in whole since the first game.

I wonder if we'll ever reach the current block number.
6295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: anyone knows where to get free bitcoins? on: November 20, 2013, 06:08:07 PM
Signature rent is the best to get free bitcoins
But it does take some time. But yeah - the payout is worth it. To OP - look in the Services subforum for the signature ad programs.

I don't mind paying for a game, as in a monthly fee, if the game is well-maintained and updated often. I do think that DLC should be included in the monthly fee, instead of having to pay for that aswel.
Well, that way they would make less money. Grin

Thank God not all games are being made by EA. I was really excited to hear when Rockstar announced that all future DLC for GTA5 would be made available free of charge.
EA is just such a company which wants to milk all the possible cash from the consumer.

Yeah, they've proven that by buying Plants vs Zombies. Plants vs Zombies is filled with buyable content. The prices are rediculous as well. I try to stay away from EA games, unless it is an amazing game like Battlefield.
Well, it kind of makes it hard for me since I bought the Humble Origin bundle.

Yeah, I tried it during the free weekend. Too bad the key was already taken when I tried.
