Not all Altcoins, but I am sure the space is going to end up being wiped clean from shit coins as they will not even have a chance to breathe, let alone survive. Those coins without products will really end up suffering it the most in the long run. I guess we just have to see how things eventually turn out in the coming years for most of them.

As per my analysis, I am not seeing any big threats to altcoins due to rise of bitcoins but altcoin will enjoy free value appreciations along with bitcoin's ride.

If no one invests in it, at least those who understands the true value will end up finding a useful ground for it than just an investment. Who really would not regret something like that, considering the fact that bitcoin has really grown hugely in value than one would have imagined right from the onset. It is a good thing though and stuffs like this gives one more confidence on why we really need to believe more in bitcoin to give us what we really expect. It is difficult to make a list with this value range because they are in a process of affirmation and their volatility is very great. But I work with some like the XRP (she is stable and stable and returns to have a good return on her price) to NXT (this price varies every day, depending on how much is invested to get a good money) and Safex (that's an update now for the end of the year, probably the price of it will fire right away). You cannot start comparing yet as you cannot compare the level of usage and transactions going on within the two projects. Waves seems promising but only time will tell if there could still be some issues that would need to be fixed once they start receiving huge recognition the way Ethereum is.

People said a lot of negative things and compared Ethereum with bitcoin in the past and how Ethereum can never get congested or have a huge transaction fee, but hey! It has just happened.

One good thing about bitcoin is that if you are long term holder and you listen to all the FUDs raised about bubbles bursting and all, and you panic, then you will realize at the end of the day that all those FUDs were just created by some whales to scare the weak hands.

These bounty campaigns are nothing more than a cheap or otherwise free form of a currency if you promote it in the community. Look at most ANNs, 99% of coins only pay their own token, whoever enters simply does not know if they will win anything or if they will just waste their time.

But this is not a bad thing, bad and when a given currency allocates a very large revenue for these campaigns making after your end everyone who received the bonuses pour the currency in the market and make the price of it go on the ground. Lots of people earlier who does not even have much to save up offline to buy crypto, worked for it and imagine someone who has been doing that since let's say 2013 when things are slightly starting to boom then, would pretty much have been able to save a lot right now and be doing very well.

I guess the OP's case here is different. It is not even about the transaction not going through, it is the platform itself not responding even after trying to make transactions. I will advise he both refreshes the page and try again or he gives another browser a try. I am not experiencing making transactions anyway and as long as the gas price are high enough, transactions should be completed.

I really do not know why people panic in situations that they should not as long as they are sure they are going the right path when it comes to holding a specific coin.

It is always important to know that Alts can start having free falls at any time and that should be put into consideration even before holding or trading as the case may be so you can make quick decisions or set a stop loss in the case of trading. If holding, why should anyone be bothered ?

Yes definitely, there are some good coins with great potentials which would do pretty well in the long run, but if we are basing on acceptability worldwide after bitcoin, then it is definitely Ethereum. At least you can easily convert your Ethereum to fiat in most exchanges now apart from Bitcoin and that really makes it interesting for those who may always want to consider another option of payment.

Few days ago when I was using EtherDelta, I noticed my transactions were getting stalked and recently I got to find out I was not the only one. Just to find out some kittens are the ones getting the whole network crazy ?
I cannot imagine how I really missed out on that show earlier. It is a crazy one though and that has really shown that Ethereum can actually get congested after all.

Welcome to the crazy crypto world. This is something you should always expect most times. Some Alts are being pumped right now and that is why you are seeing them hitting past the roof like that. It is their time, I guess and some of them that are probably good projects and some developments are coming up for them, and if you are holding a lot of them when they were a bit low, then good for you.

That is generally the point. Some altcoins are not necessary and they won't obviously last anyway, so no need to bother much about them. However, some alts are totally backed by a different project from that of bitcoin which makes them extremely useful in the long run. The blockchain technology is open source and we cannot expect not to have Alts, however, the main essence is to have different currencies that can serve different purposes.

I really hope when they get launched they would actually do what they have promised and I really do not see why such a project would need an ICO anyway.

Doing analysis of ICO is something that could really be needed anyway but in the case of OP, I am sure what he is looking for he is a coin that is already in the market and how he can benefit from the pump and dumps which he definitely just have to find that coin himself as there are lots of them.
