641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin wallet that supports the hardfork? on: October 19, 2017, 05:21:01 AM
Store your btc on a offline wallet for a moment before October 25 and then there will be a announcement that all is clear probably there will be here on this forum like the previous fork just make sure you have the private key so that you can access the bitcoin gold on the supported wallet using the same private key to claim it.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC profits on: October 19, 2017, 05:13:32 AM
Spread your coins to different legit digital coins out there like ethereum, monero and many other alt coins out there, investing in bitcoin requires a huge capital, but investing in altcoins can bring a chance to your $100 to profit and earn more than that, you can try cloud mining and invest 6 - $10 to buy hash speed it can bring you %10 of profit back everyday, do trading stuff if you are familiar with it and try to research each of your target altcoins out there to prevent losing and scamming your money, spread your wings so do not depend on just one chip.
643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin + Bitcoin Cash.... on: October 19, 2017, 05:06:30 AM
The idea of using bitcoin cash for small transaction can be implemented but the businesses owners will think of other alternative methods for using digital coin as a form of payment for their services and products, not just bitcoin cash, there are hundreds of altcoins out there in the marketcap that will be more beneficial than using a bitcoin cash, but i'm agreed for using bitcoin to pay big transactions as it has the highest value.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2017, 05:01:23 AM
We can't just use bitcoin as a normal currency as the price of it changes constantly every minute, it is not just stable like a fiat or paper money to begin with not for now. but someday it can reach a stable price ranges so that it can use in our daily life usage and needs, asset, investment is the best usage for this coin.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dimon will launch blockchain project at JPM after calling Bitcoin stupid on: October 17, 2017, 06:34:40 AM
So that's what Jamie Dimon are aiming for, make bitcoin image bad and stupid to the public and then plans to launch a token or system Blockchain based so that they can manipulate and promote their project to the public and probably profit from it if will become success. Well Dimon your strategy don't work for the majority of the bitcoin enthusiast so stop spreading lies and propaganda to the public.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Segwit2x impact Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash or both? on: October 17, 2017, 06:27:49 AM
It's hardfork for the bitcoin so it will have some huge or minimal impact depends on what will happen after the Segwit2x, if the exchange have a good implementation and security it is safe however it is not recommend to store your bitcoins there just to make it sure before the hardfork happens, transfer your coins into a offline or cold storage based wallet for you to gain the fork coins and secure for the possible attacks during the segwit2x. Secure your private keys.
647  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN misconceptions on: October 16, 2017, 09:34:28 AM
Some of them leave their physical jobs just to join and make quality posts to earn bitcoin but not all, don't make it wrong but bitcoin is a digital currency, asset and can be an investment, just for now it is not advisable to use it for everyday usage because of the volatility but the people who leaves their job have their own reasons and i know the number one reason for that, they earn more here than their former job, i saw some posts that they've already bought some physical asset like house and car and other useful things that they can't buy while spending 3 to 5 years working for their job vs spending 1 to 2 years here by signature campaign and trading and gain something better than the former.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Korea To Tax Bitcoin Use on: October 16, 2017, 09:23:11 AM
As long as they will not regulate the bitcoin and it's uses that's a thumbs up for that, because taxing means they need to legalize and support it completely and make coinbase or any other exchanges implement taxes by the government and help their own countries progress the thing I don't like to this system is that they can impose much more tax than your transaction fee.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swedish Officials Settle First Debt in Bitcoin on: October 16, 2017, 09:11:41 AM
Swedish official settled debt with bitcoin is the first time the enforcement agency as payment rendered by debt owed by the state. That's a surprise even the amount is only 0.6 btc which is small compared to the debt that is being payed by fiat but this is the first step to the officials to  use bitcoin or any other authentic digital asset to make a payment of debt or any other transaction held by them but i think auctioning bitcoin is not good idea just because there is no state infrastructure that accepts bitcoin as savings, they can just hold the btc because we all know it will reach it's high price and a huge step up to its price that may profit from holding those 0.6 btc.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and ICO's on: October 15, 2017, 06:59:11 AM
That's one of the reason why etheruem stays on the number two spot of the market and increase it's price for the same time but let us not forget that it is not the ICO alone that make's it alive and healthy, using a blockchain to replace internet third parties that keeps track of complex financial usage, Investors and ethereum Enthusiast make it also alive that have a %100 support to its great potential to the crypto market and blockchain technology.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen on your altcoins in exchanges during hardfork? on: October 15, 2017, 06:27:57 AM
Check first your altcoin exchange if they have a strong implementation and security for the upcoming hard fork this November, stay tuned and keep updated for the announcements and instruction of the exchanges and other coinbase app and website i know they will do that before, during and after the fork specially for the bitcoin users, if you want to play safe move and secure your altcoins and bitcoin to a safest cold storage wallet or your preferred wallet before the fork.
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we should rely on bitcoin, if government regularize it ? on: October 15, 2017, 06:16:44 AM
If they want to regulate Bitcoin they need to control and regulate all the users and miners of bitcoin through the whole earth, they can't control its price and its volume, the quantity is limited and the quality gets higher everyday, that's why some government just bans it to their own country the only thing that the government can do to this coin, other than banning, they can implement some government coinbase app or website that have a system to impose tax and extra fees for the transaction of the bitcoin.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taking Courses to learn about Bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 06:09:33 AM

654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do you think satoshi nakamoto kept his identity as a secret? on: October 15, 2017, 06:01:17 AM
I think that's for Satoshi's manner and privacy as he created decentralize and anonymous currency that is now dominating the crypto market, that is for his own safeness and security to his private life as we can say that he is one of the richest person through out the world but who knows if he still alive or not and what project or system he is currently involved, he have an account here in Bitcointalk but the last activity he posted last December 2010.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bright stars on: October 15, 2017, 05:51:38 AM
That's right at some point we have to stop overestimating bitcoin's price and value on the market as we can't really predict what is coming and future for this coin we can theorize and speculate but the main concern is the future where the btc will lead it's destiny, but at the same time we can look for it's advantage and great potential to win and explode the market value asset, don't overestimate and underestimate bitcoin at the same time we need to play safe to the digital currency world.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin End or Be Removed From System? on: October 14, 2017, 11:28:05 AM
We can't tell yet if the bitcoin will be removed from the market or degrade from its value and demand but i will surely say that from these days it is impossible for bitcoin to cease to exit and if that happens the blockchain technology will still be useful to the society as it have a great potential and traits over the bitcoin currency, the chance of the bitcoin to degrade will depends on the influence of the Government and countries that bans the digital currency and views it as a threat.

How will it become a threat to the government? Besides being decentralized. Thanks for the info.
Because bitcoin has no regulation and has no central authority that controls it, they can't impose tax to bitcoin as it is decentralized and anonymous that's why it can be a tool for unlawful criminal activities like scamming, fraud, money laundering and tax evasion that's why some countries like china bans bitcoin based on their statements but we know that they have their own motives and selfish reasons why. Regulation and Control that's what the Government wants specially to our currency that's why they hate it mostly the central banks.

658  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin change the distribution of wealth in the world? on: October 14, 2017, 07:34:32 AM
It is just the bridge or the way to distribute fair and neutral wealth to the society and to the people who knows crypto. Central banks, Goverment and any other Authorities in charge for the regulation for the wealth and currency controls and manipulate it for their own selfish reasons like pigs and crocodiles, blockchain technology introduce the freedom and fair way to manage and control your own wealth but the change is always depends to the people.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kenneth Rogoff, former IMF economist says "Bitcoin price will collapse" on: October 14, 2017, 07:22:49 AM
That's why Coinbase and Bitcoin exchanges implement AML and KYC regulations upon their websites to prevent such criminal activities to attract the use of bitcoin for their own unlawful acts, Kenneth Rogoff statements contains facts about the btc that is already happening everyday to the bitcoin users however USD has the same troubles and difficulties in terms of criminal activities. He just want to prove that the use of bitcoin is for criminals and money launderers making the USD a preferred and safe currency to use, the fact is the other way around that USD and any other currency are being used by the criminals also.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Regulations on: October 14, 2017, 06:55:17 AM
As long as the bitcoin is anonymous and it is the internet of money over the blockchain technology the regulations will be futile otherwise you are using an online app or browser type of wallet that you do not posses your own private key then some regulatory measures can apply. Government can ban the use of bitcoin by taking down local exchanges and websites that cater the transaction of BTC however it all depends to you or the individuals who use btc, as long as the bitcoin itself has no central authority that manage and control the regulations imposed will be useless to the community.
