121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I continue hodl my Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2018, 05:25:35 PM
Then how much did you hold last year, decent amount of bitcoin that you've held last year then sold 50% last December which is the time ATH was kicking and the Fomo is at the atmosphere then you got some good profits back then, hold you bitcoin in my opinion, too late to sell as you are getting some losses take the bear market advantage you've got some bitcoin last March 2017 and the price was $1k+ back then.
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will not hit 20000 soon? on: August 05, 2018, 04:51:38 PM
It will be back over 20k just wait till the end of this year.  We are still in early if you buy at this price and can easily double your money.
I hope it will come back future events will tell the judgment for EOY price of bitcoin, no recent triggering events for bitcoin to increase massively this period but we can always expect some incoming news that will influence its price although it may be positive or negative scales of events and happenings we never knew what's incoming.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: August 05, 2018, 04:43:39 PM
Hello everyone!

I am talking to quite a few people who are investing in crypto and notice that very few have a broader investment spectrum. People either focus on ICOs, some small caps, others play it safe and stick with the high caps or established projects.
That how some folks invest in cryptocurrency, they take chances to be an established early adopter for long-term investment, risky to have some assurance to those low caps ICO and altcoins crypto but rewarding if you hit some gems plus they are currently cheap so you can add them to your portfolio to extent that you are not centered to those types of coins diversifying to other investment options is a must to maximize the potential.
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who do people dump tokens below ICO price and how can this be stopped? on: June 27, 2018, 04:35:36 PM
You should include the private investors as well as their advisors for dumping the tokens well it depends on their deal and the locking periods of their tokens they usually got the most favorable bonus and discounts in some cases the team itself dumps their own token, for the bounty hunters the dumping effect should be minimal if the pools of their rewards are small, you can't stop them and it's their freedom to sell, buy or hold you forgot the airdrop dumpers OP.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook reverse crypto advertisement ban on: June 27, 2018, 03:57:50 PM
Facebook announcement of the ban did not affect the price of cryptocurrency that much from that time so the same thing will happen if they will gonna lift the ban but Facebook lifted the ban with the restrictions of the promotion of ICO's and other related projects, crypto related ads must pre-approve first before allowing their own platforms or products to be promoted.
Here's the link that the OP did not provide
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing Smartly in ICOs on: June 27, 2018, 03:50:16 PM
Another thing is don't be greedy when investing like for example, the ICO says that you will gain 30x or 50x from your investment on just a short period of time without any conclusive evidence that will back the sources of income and their respective product, I saw some people investing from that schemes and the sad part about that is the team behind that particular ICO is mostly anonymous, tried to warn but some them did not listen, it turns out to be a scam and those people who proceeded are calling crypto scam in general.
127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Depressed volatility driving BTC price down? on: June 27, 2018, 03:26:08 PM
Not just depressed volatility but manipulation, hacking and Fuds that drives the price of the bitcoin down and now they are trying to spread that bitcoin will down to the bottom of $4k so if that was achieved what's next? $2k or $1k articles and posts explaining their speculation and analysis they are too greedy to bring the price of bitcoin down to the bottom just to accumulate more? then pump the price to create fomo.
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will the bear market last? on: June 27, 2018, 02:28:10 PM
Sharks create Fud's not just panic to accumulate more cheap bitcoins, so for the question of how long it will last? there's no definite answer to that question as we can just rely on speculations, analysis, and news every day to figure out what the hell is happening to the crypto market, the bullish run is still possible, just withstand price crashes and hold or buy more.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook reversing bitcoin and crypto ban - just going to be more responsible on: June 27, 2018, 02:02:59 PM
January ban was lifted but it was restricted only for the crypto ads which are pre-approved by Facebook and the deal is ICO's are still restricted to promote their own project so not all of them will be given the opportunity to advertise read the full article, I hope Facebook will truly refine those scams from legitimate platforms, frauds already incurred some damages to crypto.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Regretting Buying Coins of others Choice on: June 26, 2018, 05:04:59 PM
Don't depend your decisions from other people most especially from an anonymous person which is most probably shilling or advertising certain coins, most common words buy this X coins and you will get 20x ROI or there would be a buyback from this Y coin so invest to ride the pump, to the moon from this coins buy while it is cheap, consider them but don't depend research the coins from their suggestions and make your own conclusion as to what are you going to buy or not, most of all do your own research to find those hidden cryptos which will be worth a lot in the future.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why the price of crypto coins is different ?? on: June 26, 2018, 04:48:33 PM
Different exchanges have their own policies, fees, volumes, and pricing, different exchanges of different traders putting different prices from their buy and sell orders not mentioning some local exchanges which can make a difference from the price of a certain coin sometimes and some people trade with different exchanges and that is called arbitrage trading, it is so risky and you need to be very careful trading like that.
132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My new trading strategy, what's yours? on: June 26, 2018, 04:32:47 PM
This trading strategy is not suitable if the ICO turns out to be a scam that's a possibility during the post-ICO events such as the product developments and exchange release we should choose those legit and worth holding projects, sometimes the price did not drop below ICO after the exchanges release and it keeps getting up to the point that it is so expensive so be careful when to hold and when to sell perfect timing with the knowledge of the ICO is pretty useful.
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expected Bitcoin Price Growth In 2019?? on: June 26, 2018, 04:22:58 PM
Why expect it next year when we are just in the half of this 2018, last year price same month was $2k plus and it spiked August till the mid of December but the current price in the present is fluctuating around $6k, losses are too much but there's a possibility to achieve that price again or even more this year, we can witness the lowest point of price this year but the good thing with crypto is you can speculate and expect also the reverse things.
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will explode! on: June 26, 2018, 03:55:31 PM
The time will just tell it all when it is going to happen, it's true that it fell from the ATH $20k last year that almost 70% plus dropped but that is not the conclusion and the basis of the bitcoin's future price, every day is a movement don't expect it to have a gains and positive results, you are in the crypto world that anything might happen to your capitals and holdings, bitcoin will positively explode that the time will tell when.
135  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax on the crypto currency! What do you think? on: June 26, 2018, 03:44:17 PM
I don't think you tax crypto. But you can definitely make use of a transaction fee. And where will the tax go if there would be one?
It can if the Government wish to tax local exchanges and some major when you are cashing out to fiat that is a possibility and I heard some of the countries are starting to regulate cryptocurrency and the one step for this is to tax it and that would depend on their policy as to whatever they want to max out, I hope they don't abuse the regulation imposed to cryptocurrency.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eherium better than Bitcoin? Why or Why not??? on: June 25, 2018, 04:09:59 PM
The Thread title I thought it was another altcoin or token Eherium that the OP advertise but oh well it is ETH if there's a chance that bitcoin might fail which is impossible these days but for instance that happened then ETH will be the one who overtakes the number one spot, ETH is better for smart contracts and ICO supports which is a great but the most important thing is the price, adoption and community support that's why btc is better.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH only for ICOs? on: June 25, 2018, 03:58:21 PM
Venture out from different kinds of projects and you will see their investment methods, most of the ICO that I've encountered so far have the option to invest via fiat it all matters is the direction to deposit, not just ETH and BTC but some famous coins from the top 10 are accepted that would also depend on the ICO itself but that is not the choice alone.
138  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC next stop is 5K$ on: June 25, 2018, 03:43:18 PM
It will happen, and it will probably go a little bit deeper and then it will go up again, just like if it was a rebounce. So just wait and be patient, fill your bags on this dip

That's true it should be the basic mindset of the holders whether it is a manipulation, weakly handed dumping because of fuds, the news and exchange hacking impacts the common thing always happens to the market price, it will definitely be going to have a price rise in just a matter of time to kill in order to profit from these bear markets and crashes, buy the dip if still consider that.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: the reason why bitcoin falls on: June 25, 2018, 03:27:36 PM
Why is bitcoin falling? the long-term bitcoin holders would be selling their bitcoin for fear of an attack with quantum computing that could happen within a few years, for this reason they would be anticipating to get their profits before it keeps falling further? .. the fact is that bitcoin will not return to the price levels of December 2017
Quantum computing? are you serious about this? another conspiracy theory I guess, crypto is quantum computing resistant I read it somewhere from an article that explains the risk of this, that's not the main issue here you are just the one who pulls that matter, Regulation, market manipulation, exchange hacking that slightly affects the volume but that is not the main impact it is another machinery for fuds and more read up the news and stay updated.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will not perish on: June 25, 2018, 03:12:52 PM
Count those threads and articles created that bitcoin is dead or scam from the very beginning of its life, those people will never quit doing that thing, Bitcoin drops -10% then they will ramble and pull this thing off the table over and over again, price crash is not a good thing, who wants to lose their money in just a short period of time? well I doubt it will stabilize as the market is too unstable to predict.
