121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Community Is Now Dominated by Speculators Not Criminals!! on: August 12, 2018, 06:53:17 PM
Bitcoin is not really anonymous at this point you can clearly track all those transactions as its blockchain is transparent that everyone can see it they would probably using some anonymous coins like monero and other altcoins that can cover their tracks to hide their deals well some of them still using this coin to receive payments but their number decreased due to some alternatives.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why I'm selling all my ETH (over 2000) and you should too on: August 07, 2018, 07:20:53 PM
What is the basis of your such prediction? I guess you are just trying to spread some negativity about ETH. It will not be wise at all to sell Eth for DIEC. The rest is up to you.
He is obviously shilling DCIE look at his post history and the rest will answer it all even with the thread title there's a malicious intent to shill, prove it to us Op that you have 2k ETH then post your txid that you sold all of you acclaimed ETH here on your thread to support that random ICO, there's a lot of competitors of ETH but I heard ETH will be solving the scaling issues soon.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you learn from crypto market on: August 07, 2018, 07:02:03 PM
Caught my attention towards cryptocurrency and as a computer enthusiast it opens doors of opportunity to learn the blockchain and its technical functionalities as well as its programming language, I am still learning from this field but other advantages to learn is from your experience as well as your attitude and passion towards it, crypto and blockchain will be a revolutionary adoption in the near future.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 60,000$ by the end of 2018? on: August 07, 2018, 06:32:43 PM
If we can see the possibilities that it will reach the former ATH $20k then we can see a bit of shedding light on that speculation but we can also look around the possibilities that it will go down again if that hits $25k or $30k due to some people taking the advantage to play it safe with their new profits sell high then buy low, major corrections and the upcoming bear market, we are going to see what's going to happen this year.
125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does positive news have any impact in bitcoin price on: August 07, 2018, 06:15:25 PM
We are not just relying on the news to make its price increase that's not the only factor that affects its fluctuations and its market influence, of course, it influences but it is not the deal all the time is given by the scale of the news how good or bad it is, how can a certain news affects the price that triggers some people to panic or to fomo.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: August 07, 2018, 05:45:33 PM
That's why when you are going to invite some new folks to try crypto then you should heed then in advance about the risk, mistakes like this one, warnings, not going to rich overnight, basic technical and security stuff to crypto wallets and more most especially the technical stuff, they should be aware of the wallet stealers, cold storages backup, passwords and stuff.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Should we believe the ICObench? on: August 06, 2018, 07:03:11 PM
Many projects buy rating on known, untwisted sites. I would not trust these sites completely, but I'd better study the project and the road map myself.
I read it somewhere that some ICO rating sites offer premium listings I don't know the details what's with the premium listing and free listing but we should not trust all of the scorers we don't fully know the reviewers or they are just fake accounts, ICObench is good to look or consider but don't stop with scorers you should also look for other resources to determine legitimate and hidden gems ICO's.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do these Jumps in value come from in altcoins on: August 06, 2018, 06:43:30 PM
Fake volume with no trading activity at all the token doesn't have any buy and sell walls from their trading exchange with just a flick of a whale or a group of pumping signals they can easily drive the orders up, the price will surely cause some uproars and increases with a positive gain in percentage with ease because they have a small percentage volume that can easily be manipulated by certain individuals hence can create fomo.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the usual mistakes that newbie traders usually do? on: August 06, 2018, 06:34:33 PM
Using incompetent and ineffective exchanges as they are not checking their reputation and services quality as long as the fees and withdrawal, shilled and fomo from a pump token or altcoin but in reality, they are filled with fake volumes and orders supported by bots, trading without knowing the overall risk of cryptocurrency and its market.
130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is anticipated to raise $10,000 sooner on: August 06, 2018, 06:24:53 PM
Bitcoin break past the $8,000 mark. Do you think the price of Bitcoin will break the $10,000 mark sooner? Will it be worth it to get more bitcoin at this price?

If the ETF is passed, $10k is easy.
On the other way around when it was declined completely then $10k is hard to achieve this August, with the recent news it keeps on dropping back to $7k, too early to anticipate or expect that it will increase up to $10k, ETF is not yet approved by the SEC, we don't even know if bitcoin will going to reach that price when it was approved only time will tell when and how it's going to be.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why again the prices were falling? on: August 06, 2018, 06:17:10 PM
People got fomo from the recent ETF news and it was now gone due to some updates about it, you should buy the bottom last time don't get too excited about the hype and fomo as you should always position yourself from the bear market and decrease situations, now it comes back and forth from $6.9k and 7k prices as the price should be before the ETF hype.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Computer virus used to steal cryptos? on: August 06, 2018, 05:38:41 PM
A malware script from a cheat program and plugins that injects viruses to mine crypto base from the article well I got some backdoor viruses last year from my old computer Double pulsar and eternal blue exe viruses from a program then injects some crypto miner to my pc, scan before the attempt to run any random programs most especially from a random person, even from some websites they are mining crypto just by visiting it better to have a browser extension or an antivirus that blocks unwanted miners, people nowadays take the advantage by stealing other people's CPU/GPU usages and electricity be cautious.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I cash out and take the loss? on: August 05, 2018, 05:51:59 PM
Consider the opinion of other people but don't go to the extent that you will take their advice without proper research from their shilled project, don't trust your money from random advice from random people online, it's your money you should be more careful, anywhere outside the forum you will encounter tons of advertisers saying their product is great, beneficial, X10 etc but it all starts with your own research and execution.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors! What do you Invest in? The project or The token on: August 05, 2018, 05:38:25 PM
Those who dump their tokens have probably cared for fast profit scheme rather than the whole concept and potential of the project, common reasons are from excess bonuses from presale, bounty hunters, bloody market and more, real investors paid the price that the sale offered by the ICO why would they dump it for the cheap price? it will also be an advantage to some investors as they can buy cheaper tokens.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I continue hodl my Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2018, 05:25:35 PM
Then how much did you hold last year, decent amount of bitcoin that you've held last year then sold 50% last December which is the time ATH was kicking and the Fomo is at the atmosphere then you got some good profits back then, hold you bitcoin in my opinion, too late to sell as you are getting some losses take the bear market advantage you've got some bitcoin last March 2017 and the price was $1k+ back then.
136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will not hit 20000 soon? on: August 05, 2018, 04:51:38 PM
It will be back over 20k just wait till the end of this year.  We are still in early if you buy at this price and can easily double your money.
I hope it will come back future events will tell the judgment for EOY price of bitcoin, no recent triggering events for bitcoin to increase massively this period but we can always expect some incoming news that will influence its price although it may be positive or negative scales of events and happenings we never knew what's incoming.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: August 05, 2018, 04:43:39 PM
Hello everyone!

I am talking to quite a few people who are investing in crypto and notice that very few have a broader investment spectrum. People either focus on ICOs, some small caps, others play it safe and stick with the high caps or established projects.
That how some folks invest in cryptocurrency, they take chances to be an established early adopter for long-term investment, risky to have some assurance to those low caps ICO and altcoins crypto but rewarding if you hit some gems plus they are currently cheap so you can add them to your portfolio to extent that you are not centered to those types of coins diversifying to other investment options is a must to maximize the potential.
138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who do people dump tokens below ICO price and how can this be stopped? on: June 27, 2018, 04:35:36 PM
You should include the private investors as well as their advisors for dumping the tokens well it depends on their deal and the locking periods of their tokens they usually got the most favorable bonus and discounts in some cases the team itself dumps their own token, for the bounty hunters the dumping effect should be minimal if the pools of their rewards are small, you can't stop them and it's their freedom to sell, buy or hold you forgot the airdrop dumpers OP.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook reverse crypto advertisement ban on: June 27, 2018, 03:57:50 PM
Facebook announcement of the ban did not affect the price of cryptocurrency that much from that time so the same thing will happen if they will gonna lift the ban but Facebook lifted the ban with the restrictions of the promotion of ICO's and other related projects, crypto related ads must pre-approve first before allowing their own platforms or products to be promoted.
Here's the link that the OP did not provide https://www.cnbc.com/2018/06/26/facebook-is-reversing-its-ban-on-cryptocurrency-ads.html
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing Smartly in ICOs on: June 27, 2018, 03:50:16 PM
Another thing is don't be greedy when investing like for example, the ICO says that you will gain 30x or 50x from your investment on just a short period of time without any conclusive evidence that will back the sources of income and their respective product, I saw some people investing from that schemes and the sad part about that is the team behind that particular ICO is mostly anonymous, tried to warn but some them did not listen, it turns out to be a scam and those people who proceeded are calling crypto scam in general.
