I don't trust memecoin. Because after coming to the market these coins first show huge hype and then after some time they turn into shitcoins. So investing in these coins is very risky. Even your total investment may be over. These are basically funcoins that exist today but not tomorrow.
This is actually what happens. I believe that most of those who invest in these meme coins have a dream of quick wealth, driven by the greed that plays a role in their reckless investment decisions. After a while, they realize their dream was shattered and turned into vapor. These coins lack innovation or practical value, and they don't have clear goals. They were created for fun above all else. And there are thousands of meme coins in the market, most of which have died or turned into scam shitcoins, like Pepes, as mentioned by OP in his topic. I am not interested and a fan of these meme coins, as they are not a safe investment, and predicting their prices is challenging. |

Latest estimate is around $270K affecting about 1,120 users. How it happened is quite ridiculous. Dynadot got fooled by the hacker when he impersonated someone from Galxe using fake documents. I don't know about their contract but Galxe should probably ask for compensation from Dynadot because they made a huge blunder.
It is very ridiculous. In this case, any scammer can use a social engineering attack and contact the ignorant Dynadot support and then submit documents that he forged using Photoshop or any other tool to bypass their security processes and obtain access to the domain account for any project and then redirect the domain users to a phishing domain and steals their crypto. The 1,120 affected users are supposed to be compensated through the Dynadot team. The hacker has succeeded and managed to hack many Galxe users through the mistake caused by their support team. It is good that the Galxe team published in this announcement that they are working hard with many bodies and parties to recover the stolen money and identify the hackers, and I hope they will succeed in this in the end. |

It's 2023 and these scam projects are still stock images for their team members? I remember back in 2018-2019, there were so many of them and ICOEthics would bust them for fun.

When will bounty hunters learn patience before they blame a reputable bounty manager and accuse him of scam without any evidence against him? From the outset and until the end, the decisions published by Irfan were the decisions of the Combo team and not the personal decisions that he created. All participants knew that the project team would handle the payments, and Irfan was not responsible for it. After he reached out to their team before October 1 (the specified date for distribution), Irfan discovered that there would be a delay on their part. After discussing with them and reaching a mutual agreement, they decided to extend the distribution period until December to preserve their currency price from market fluctuations. This decision resulted from the launch of 3 rounds of Combo bounties with a sizeable allocation, but this decision to extend the period did not please the bounty hunters. Afterward, Irfan did his best to negotiate and reach an agreement that satisfied everyone, including his client and the bounty hunters. A number of bounty hunters made suggestions on the Telegram group that he considered suitable and viable instead of waiting 3 months; he has already sent them to the Combo team and is still waiting for their final response. Considering the communication, discussions, and presentation of middle suggestions by this Bounty Manager, it's unfair for anyone to criticize or accuse him of actions contrary to his efforts. It is wise for people to wait patiently, and a large project like this is unlikely to refrain from paying in the end and lose its reputation easily. |

That's what those hackers do. They no longer change passwords so that the owner of the account won't be alert through their email address that the password has been changed. All they do is log into the compromised account and the post links to malware
If the owner of the account or the mods are not attentive enough, this can appear as though the real own of the account made such a post.
Anyway, good luck to Harizen on recovering his account and perhaps a reminder to use stronger passwords, different passwords for different sites and avoid malicious apps or browser extensions on his device.
I have another assumption that if his computer was hacked. His forum account was open on the browser, and logged in; the hacker could, when he finds the computer idle, control the mouse and keyboard and publish what he wants through the account because he cannot change the password or email if he does not get them through the keylogger or text documents. @Harizen, I wish you all the best in returning to your account after the administrators review what you provided and unlock the account. I believe it was locked as a security precaution after the scam ANN topic was published from it. Now, all that must be done is to find out the real reason that the hacker was able to access your account; you should think and review what you did before this happened. I also advise you to use another device and change the complete account security information if your account has been unlocked until you make sure of this hacker; he cannot reaccess the account again. |

after reading this article, isn't it too good to be true to get 1000 Chaturbate tokens for $20 when Chaturbate will give cam models $5 for every 100 Chaturbate tokens they get? sorry that you got scammed but you should have just bought the tokens on the website itself, from what I see, you'll get 200 Chaturbate tokens for $21, sure, it is less than what was offered by the scammer but at least it is guaranteed that you'll get what you bought. now you got scammed for $20 and still have no tokens. This is what scammers use (the temptation factor). They offer exciting offers in order to attract buyers until they accept their offers and agree to buy from them instead of the official Chaturbate website. If this dishonest member placed the same Chaturbate offer, quantity of tokens, and the same price of these tokens as specified by the site, there would be no one who would buy from him and risk his money. The mistake that falls on the OP is that he trusted this newbie member and paid him first without using an escrow service to guarantee his rights. As SFR10 mentioned, this scammer has alt accounts with newbie ranks, and he will likely come back with other accounts and publish other offers after his Chaturbate tokens scam offer is exposed and after his accounts are tagged. |

I thinkcit's the influencer who's been paid to promote an obvious scam is the worst. People who are entering crypto pump groups has atleast an idea on what they are doing but the victims of these influencers are newbies in majority that don't have any clue on what they are doing, they are just following the influencer instructions. Influencers tends to bring non-crypto in the cryptospace and teach them to invest on the project they are promoting, most non-crypto followers would think that it's legit given that the influencers has so many followers and gain reputation on what he is doing. It's just so bad.
The promotional money influencers on YouTube receive from the projects promoted on their channels and from YouTube Ads is their primary motivation, and their goal is not to benefit the inexperienced investors who will watch the promotional video and follow their paid recommendations and risk their money. At the end of these videos, you may come across a disclaimer meant to absolve this influencer to evacuate legal accountability: "It is not investment advice." Also, the influencers who own paid recommendation channels on Telegram and pump-and-dump Groups are people hired by the project's currency team. In some cases, they might even be the project's founders themselves. It is best to avoid making investment decisions through the recommendations of these paid influencers because these recommendations will most likely drag people into scam traps and obtain false recommendations and expectations, thus transferring money from their followers to the pockets of the scammers. |

I believe this is still directed to the time of the bull run, and I'm sure that people would be affected by FOMO and some afterwards bearish threats which might make them panic and want to sell after some initial gains. It's easier said than done for many hodlers to wait for Bitcoin to effectuate the bull run completely. The reason is simple, it's due to the dynamism of the market mixed with its uncertainty. For this, people's emotions might be able to carry it and many would not want to lose the money they had already gained, it's until the time comes before you fully understand this, especially if you've not benefited from the initial bull run or inexperienced about trader's psychology in line with the market.
As for me, I would rather not say I will not sell at any time, I will only let my technical chart guide me.

They stored these quantities and held them for years, increasing their wealth. But there are also millionaires created by Bitcoin thanks to the fantastic and important qualities they have, such as the ones you mentioned, as their long-term theorists. They buy when everyone is afraid, during periods of price decline and complete stagnation in the market. They publish a guide video and review of the Fake Ethereum MEV trading bot on YouTube and provide false proof that they have made thousands and millions of dollars from a currency through the bot they created and promoted. Then, they publish positive comments and reviews below the video to mislead viewers. What also helps the success of the scam is that YouTube does not show people’s dislikes numbers. After the victims see all this, they download the malicious tool of this fake bot .exe, into their devices; then they deposit their crypto to the deposit address of the scammer who programmed the bot. Even if the victim downloads the bot tool, opens it, and does not make a deposit, the scammer has already succeeded in hacking his computer and stealing his private keys and sensitive information if the victim ran the bot on his main computer. Therefore, many YouTube channels promote fake and scam bots. Everyone should do their research and not be fooled by what they see or download anything from unknown sources. Thank you, OP.
