641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if USDT falls down? on: August 05, 2023, 10:48:04 PM
We know that USDT is coming back from the most horrific situations from the past. But I want you to answer this, what do you do if someday without any signs USDT falls back to 0.1-0.2$? What do you do? Can you survive in this situation? What do you do if you put all your assets in USDT?
Just curious to know your answer. Don't say reasons that it won't happens, because I want to know if something this kind of thing happens in future what will you do?
I can't do anything except for the Tether team to return the price of USDT to 1 dollar again through the reserves they have, USDT has been depegged many times in the past, and its price fell from the price of 1:1, but this did not continue, and the price of USDT returned again. if this happens again in the future, all I will do is wait patiently. It is a big mistake to rush and sell what I have in USDT at the time of the catastrophe of the price collapse and the dollar depeg.

If you ask my replay to this, I can say I will ok with it. Because I put my 20% into USDT right now. Why? because you know guys there is an Old saying Never put your all eggs in the same basket.  Wink
Frankly, I agree entirely with you. Diversifying stable coins is an excellent decision. It is worth mentioning that CZ Binance resembles Tether as a black box due to the risks that arise around it, that it lacks transparency because an audit report has not been submitted about it yet, and that his team is in the process of establishing an algorithmic stablecoin and supports more new stablecoins to determine what will survive organizational matters.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: August 05, 2023, 09:50:50 PM
What altcoin / altcoins would you choose and what would you invest your million in? Huh
One million dollars is a huge amount, and it is a mistake that most investors can make if they get this amount to put in one basket / one altcoin or to invest it entirely in a number of new altcoins or meme coins, or the exchange platforms' coins. For me, I see that I can Invest in Bitcoin a large percentage of a million, put a part that I bear losing in Ethereum, and keep a part in stablecoins until market conditions improve in order to return and reinvest in 2-3 of the promising top altcoins that performed well during the year and hold all my investments in the long term, and this, in my opinion, would be an opinion that carries a risk that is not great.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Know the Next PEP on: August 04, 2023, 10:22:11 PM
What other factors do you think influence memecoin projects?
There are no 100% effective factors, and they all depend on luck because there are limited people who were able to identify the real Pepe coin in its infancy and were able to earn thousands of dollars immediately after the existence of the Hype, perhaps the most influential factor, in my opinion, is tracking the wallets of some whales and knowing their holdings of meme coins that they have recently invested in massive amounts, and tracking the tweets of significant investors and influencers interested in meme coins and their recommendations, in light of the thousands of meme coins that are created daily and are listed in the exchange platforms and fake currencies of the original currencies, the matter will be very risky, and it will be very difficult to predict what is after Pepe or the next hype currency, so be a good follower of what the influencers publish on Twitter, as you may be lucky with a legitimate currency that gains hype as soon as investors and the crypto community turn to it, but you have to be careful and invest with caution what you can lose. Your research should be in the first place and scan of the meme coin contract address that people's eyes turned to.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verified twitter, telegram account is the strong point for a new project? on: August 04, 2023, 09:04:42 PM
My friend informed me that at this time many upcoming project social account like twitter, telegram is verified.
Does that mean these projects can be trusted?
In fact many are encouraged to invest in any new project following this.
What is your opinion on this matter?
Of course, verifying the project’s accounts on social media, such as Twitter or Facebook, or on popular communication applications, such as Telegram, does not indicate the legitimacy of the project or that an honest team is behind it. They can actually purchase a monthly or annual verified subscription for their Twitter account with ease in return for paying some money. As for Telegram, there are some uncomplicated conditions through which they can get their group or channel verified, so it is within everyone’s reach that even scammers can do and appear to their communities as official and legitimate, so we cannot rely on the verification mark for any project as there are a lot of other factors that show the reality of the project and its team.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: August 03, 2023, 11:08:26 PM
Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Pepe are the best and largest meme coins in order. These currencies have achieved great success and a considerable market value, and they were able to establish their position in the market and attract investors. Dogecoin is the oldest of them, and this currency is crowned with the king of memecoins and the best of luck because it is an old currency and was supported by the wealthiest man in the world and many influencers around the world and used by major companies as a means of payment, Pepe is the most recent of them. Frankly, this currency at the time of its launch caused great hype, and its holders were able to achieve thousands and millions of dollars from it as a result of their investments, Pepe gained tremendous popularity in a short period of time than the leading meme coins in the market. Meme coins can create wealth and can turn rich into bankrupt in a few hours. Therefore, no matter how large the meme coin is and any investor must invest in them with more funds than he needs so that he does not regret it one day.
646  Economy / Scam Accusations / $20M stolen by "Zero Transfer Scam" phishing trick on: August 03, 2023, 10:09:11 PM
What happened:: How many days ago, a scammer was able, through a phishing trick called "Zero Transfer Scam," to steal nearly 20 million dollars of USDT from one of the victims; the scammer generated addresses with the same first and last letters, and The scammer then sends a dust transaction to the target victim's wallet in order for his generated address to appear in the history of previous transactions, and then the victim, when sending a transaction, pick the last address in previous transactions history and copies it and transfers his funds to it, and this is not the correct address to be transferred to, but it is the address of the scammer who generated it to resemble the address of a victim, and this is what actually happened; fortunately, Tether has blacklisted the address of the scammer who managed to steal $20 million, I think the victim should get a police report to recover his stolen funds.

Reference Link: https://etherscan.io/address/0xa7bf48749d2e4aa29e3209879956b9baa9e90570#tokentxns

Amount Scammed: 20M $USDT

Additional Notes:
In conclusion: everyone should be vigilant and not rush before sending any transaction and not rely on the addresses of previous transactions in the transactions history. Lose 20 seconds of your time and copy the correct address from its correct place instead of losing 20 million in a blink of an eye.

647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment? on: August 02, 2023, 09:45:28 PM
this year has been quite turbulent for some altcoins, especially exchange tokens. I've invested in a few and performance-wise, only a handful of them have shown decent growth throughout the year. How about you? Do you have any exchange tokens in your holdings, and what are your thoughts on their market performance this year? Let's discuss our experiences and perspectives on how these tokens have been faring in this volatile market.
Yes, I have exchange tokens in my holdings, most notably the Binance platform currency. Unfortunately, I had invested BNB in order to participate in the SUI Launchpad, and after that the FUD event caused by the SEC, which led to a sharp drop in the price of BNB from the peak of $333, which led to my loss reaching more than -25%, frankly, I did not prefer exchange tokens because any exchange may be exposed to bankruptcy, regulatory pressure, or hacking, which will negatively affect the exchange token that the investor invests in, but there are things that make a person want to profit and reap returns and turn a blind eye to potential risks like participating in Launchpad and Launchpool and others, I have not lost certainty yet because the BNB token is one of the top tokens in the market, although it was classified as a security by the SEC, but it is highly likely that it will win like XRP and return better than it was and achieve a new ATH, and regardless of the SEC battle, the tokens of the exchanges currently did not gain the appropriate acquisition and it is certain that they will explode one day if the exchange team is as strong as Binance and knows what it is doing.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: August 02, 2023, 07:58:28 PM
Besides crypto currency, people with a get rich quick mentality always end up messing up. They can do anything to get the money, not minding how they get it.

In crypto currency, people with a get rich quick mentality, are easy prey for scam.
I agree with you, the mentality of getting rich quickly, excessive greed, and lack of knowledge and sufficient experience and research is what makes most investors, especially beginners, from losing their capital either in meme coins, scam rugpull coins, or in new altcoins that do not have an expert team, and the idea of its project is imitated and not unique. and the end for these investors to mess around or get lost and retire from investing in altcoins. There are many opportunities and hidden gems in altcoins. Still, it requires experience in technical and fundamental analysis, patience, thinking, studying the currency project, and seeing reviews and recommendations from experts without rushing and doing anything reckless.
649  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Jason Lowery's Twitter account hacked on: August 01, 2023, 10:27:15 PM
Now few people believe such promises, since this fraud is not new and most people already know about this scheme. And despite the fact that the Jason Lowery account has more than 100 thousand subscribers, only 3 people fell for this bait, who transferred only 0.00181439 BTC to the fraudster's wallet.
With each period, an account of one of the well-known influencers appears on Twitter. His followers find that the formula of the author of the tweets that they know has changed significantly, either for a giveaway tweet, as happened to Jason Lowery, or as tweets for an Airdrop with a phishing link, so what is happening is crystal clear that the owner of the account has been hacked and that whoever posted these tweets is a scammer who managed to access the account, but here is a very small category of people who forget to use their minds and easily fall into this fraud.

It is good that the methods of fraudsters are old and outdated, and despite that, they do not stop their schemes and evils, and fortunately, there are good members like you and OP who expose them and shed light on their crimes.

651  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Popular crypto influencer Pauly accused of Millions of Dollars Fraud. on: July 31, 2023, 09:29:08 PM
Influencer Pauly has been accused of serious fraud. After Pauly created an altcoin called Pond0x token and created hype among his followers, he dumped Pond0x tokens among his followers investors. Due to these fraudulent activities investors have faced huge losses which are estimated $2.2 million. This incident proves again why crypto users should not give influencers too much importance and blindly trust their advice. These influencers will one day take advantage of the trust of their followers and take large amounts of money by creating a scam project.
The people who bought PNDX made colossal mistakes. First, they trusted Pauly blindly as a well-known influencer who wouldn't drag them into the mud. The second mistake was that they bought this worthless meme coin that is considered a shitcoin that interacts with the hype. The third is that they didn't read the PNDX currency contract address, whose contract contained a harmful function called _brutalized, which can be used to redirect funds from anyone’s balance, and addresses can be manipulated. The fourth is their greed which made their first goal to obtain large profits without thinking about the consequences and potential risks.

The loss of $2.2 million dollars of investors’ funds in such a scam currency is a miserable and sad case. This case has topped the headlines of popular news blogs. I hope that people who lost their capital learn from their previous mistakes and do not be attracted by any well-known influencer or YouTuber or whatever his experience, fame, or followers.
652  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hhampuz using his position on forum to vindicate scams on: July 31, 2023, 02:30:45 PM
And why didn't you @OP login into your main account instead of this Newbie account you created today? I assume that you participated in one of Hhampuz's signature campaigns before, and you had no luck working with him, so you made up this drama.

Indeed, the following proverb, "Stones are thrown only at fruit-bearing trees." applies to the fact that you are discrediting a person who is one of the most trusted members of the forum and has worked for many years with many legitimate projects and casinos that have become famous and have reached their promotional goal through him.

Hhampuz's job is to run & manage campaigns for which he works as a promoter and through which many hunters work in promoting a project or a casino. To be fair, I have seen for many years that he chooses his clients carefully. This manager did not gain this wide reputation overnight, and if the client who hired him had already paid him his job and the hunter's dues for many years without any issues, then why did he not write positive feedback as a result of this?

Aside from the Rollbit issue, has Hhampuz forced any member here to play at any casino whatsoever that was promoted? Hhampuz is not a third party between the player, the casino, or one of the casino teams. As mentioned, his job is to promote only. It is the responsibility of any member or player to do his own research. It is unfortunate that any member violates the policies of any casino because he did not read the terms of use well or he used one of the crooked methods that led to his account being banned. He comes and publishes false scam accusations and accuses Hhampuz of vindicating scams!!!
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Community research: To drink or to buy coins? on: July 28, 2023, 09:55:59 PM
To drink (alcohol,  Roll Eyes ) or to buy Bitcoin???

In short, your favorite usual drink, no it doesn't really have to be an alcoholic beverage!!!, its price, and how many of them you have to forget and leave in the shop before check-out till you save for one BTC.
There is no one who can entirely refrain from drinking, whether it is alcoholic, non-alcoholic, or soft drinks, but there are those who drink excessively to the point of immoderate consumption; the abuse of alcoholic beverages can cause addiction, which the alcoholic cannot stop drinking even if it causes him health problems, and he can sell at a loss his investments in Bitcoin in order to buy and drink it.

Me, I do not prefer any drinks that make me addicted to them, and I prefer to buy and drink green tea, but in moderation throughout the day to improve and stimulate brain activity and memory and provide me with the vigilance I need in my trading. I can consume +5,000 packages of 20 bags (one package can let me drink more than 16 cups for more than a week) In order for me to reach the price of 1 BTC.

We can moderately drink healthy drinks that do not harm our health and buy our coins and invest in bitcoins with money in excess of our needs and our drinking, and if we can reduce the amount of our drinking, here comes the savings through which we can invest this money in Bitcoin.
654  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Scammers have created fake crypto projects using the X.com name. on: July 27, 2023, 10:57:28 PM
If we check this Twitter account that promotes the fake X token, we will find that in [This Tweet], they put a link to buy their scam token on Uniswap. After checking the token contract address on De.fi, it turned out to be a Honeypot token with a high risk of a Rugpull.

Check out the following results:

The proof that I mentioned above is simple proof indicating that the X tokens that are being promoted now are scam Rugpull tokens. There are accounts that also promote the pre-sale of the X token. The token creator places his wallet address for the Twitter victims to send him their investment funds to buy this scam token, and there are accounts that promote X phishing domains, so beginners should be careful.
655  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: walletgeneratordotnet scam Paper wallet generation scam on: July 27, 2023, 09:03:46 PM
He said he used a good way to generate a paper wallet. HD wallet was created a very long time why are people still using the unsafe way to generate paper wallet.
In the presence of safer alternatives such as hardware wallets and others, the paper wallets that are generated through walletgenerator[.]net or any of the other generator sites are wallets that are not completely secure and scams, and the private keys generated for these wallets fall into the hands of scammers and are generated with the same keys with other users. If the user of these paper wallets generates a wallet for him and deposits his funds, he finds that his funds after a certain time have been transferred and stolen to another wallet.

Many years ago and there are many accusations of scams about the Walletgenerator site. There are many old members who warned against using it, and unfortunately, the domain is still not suspended yet and works well, but Metamask has flagged it as a deceptive site.

656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a person buy a hardware wallet where crypto is ban? on: July 26, 2023, 10:11:30 PM
I am from a country where crypto currencies are strongly legalized. I know about the hardware wallet security it's best for the long-term bitcoin holder. Now is there anyway to import a hardware wallet to any country where crypto currencies are illegal ?
And one more things I wanna know that how can I chose a best budget friendly hardware wallet?

Instead of exposing yourself to any risk, even to 1%, they may summon you and investigate you legally and ban the entry of hardware and confiscate it in your country. They have your full name and residence address in detail (your information as a buyer). You are not anonymous to them. You should ask one of your friends or citizens who live in your country who managed to buy a hardware wallet and it reached them smoothly, and you should know the customs laws and the laws related to banning cryptocurrencies well.

I advise you instead either to buy another computer on which you put any popular decentralized desktop wallets for Bitcoin or flash USB memory (16GM) and put on it the Tails distribution, which is one of the Linux distributions. You can download Electrum, or you will find it installed in the Tails distribution. Now you have a cold hardware wallet at a low cost and with a security open-source system and encrypted connections through Tor.
657  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Arkham #ARKM fake airdrop website. on: July 26, 2023, 07:56:30 PM
Since Arkham arrived on the Binance launchpad, scammers have been using the project's name to scam crypto users. Twitter has now become the easiest medium for scammers to promote these fake websites. This Twitter account has a good amount of followers and the reach of its tweets also good, which can be guessed just by looking at its tweets. This is a completely fake website, Newbies please don't connect your wallet to this website, they will steal your wallet information. Control your greed and avoid sending your wallet information to scammers, stay safe from hackers.
This is one phishing site among the thousands of domains that occupied the hashtag #AEKM on Twitter after the Binance news. It is worth noting that ARKHAM is not the only project that scammers set eyes on its community to defraud them. Still, you will find that most of the currencies that rise in the trends are due to an event or some hot news; you find a lot of tweets about fake airdrops or giveaways around them. However, I am sure that these traps for scammers have become common, but awareness must be raised among new users and investors and help report to suspend these domains; perhaps someone will fall into them as a result of their lack of knowledge.

The phishing domain has been reported successfully, thank you, OP.

I strongly support Icopress as he is an active member, an expert contributor to the forum, and a well-known campaign manager. This Ukrainian guy is really distinguished and one of the most trusted 100 members in the forum and one of the most merited members. His stats on Bpip.org are really impressive, I wish him all the best and luck, and I hope that his interesting Merit source application will be accepted by theymos, because this old member really deserves it, and he fulfills all the conditions.
