Well, I doubt a few of the escrows would want to provide their info and rightfully so. I really do not know what the best solution is as they all have their issues.
I dont know either, its a tricky one.

Mrs.Lauda is correct. Not A, B, or C, or D Pretty sure this guy was burned by kncminer and had a similar page (the one on litecointalk) deleted on this forum. So, he is pissed. Just pissed off. And is trying really really hard to make sure nobody ever forgets what kncminer did, and this forum shut him up. Yea, this might go on for a while.
I understand he's pissed off with kncminer but annoying bot posting on here isn't the answer, it wont get him anywhere.

What a mess this has made with Master-P pulling this crap. Before this issue escrows worked pretty well here and now I think users will try to not use escrow as much. I really hope people do not get scammed due to this shitstorm...
As franky1 is well known for frequently saying: - snip - DO NOT TRUST ANY SERVICE OR PERSON THAT YOU CANT FIND, TO SLAP WITH A WET FISH
If you give your bitcoins to an escrow provider, the escrow provider should first be willing and able to provide you with enough information to prove their identify and to visit them if necessary. When I provided escrow services, I always provided enough information to identify and find me. Surprisingly, I was never asked to prove that identity, but would have been willing to if I was asked. If people value such a service, then they'll be willing to pay appropriately for it. If they're willing to pay appropriately, then there will be trustworthy people that are willing to provide such a service in exchange for an opportunity to be rewarded for their trustworthiness. Unfortunately, I found when I was offering the service that it wasn't very valued by most users. As such, the few pennies a month that I made in tips wasn't enough to justify the amount of time and effort that I was putting in to securing funds and facilitating agreements. I am starting to think that escrows should be vetted (I know JohnK used to handle that back a few years ago). Maybe have an admin or someone extremely trusted verify identities? Yes thats a good idea. Perhaps if the top people on the forum obtained verified recommended escrows personal information that would reduce the likelihood of them pulling off a scam because a dox would be an extremely good deterrent. Perhaps this is where theymos, BadBear etc. could provide the assurance. As an added security perhaps escrows should deposit say 25 or 50 BTC with these people as security also. Escroes would need to charge a decent fee though to justify their time and held security. Tbh this subject feels uncomfortable for me because I trusted master-p even though I didnt have any escrow dealings with him. I also trust you Blazed, OgNasty, Mitchell and all the others on the trusted escrow list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0Apart from master-p obviously until the recent accusations are resolved.

WAW a newbie with already negative trust wants to sell a not one 2 Nintendo 3DS NEW!! with not a single proof proving that he got them you can also see that he got those red colors bye asking for 16.5 BTC so i recommand to not send him any cents until you see the 2 3DS's by yourself
Yeah probably just another lame scam attempt but giving him the chance to prove with pictures.

He wrote something about his wallet needs a verification from his smartphone. Does Armory support 2FA maybe? It might be an explaination for why the coins didn't move. Of course only when you want to take his story. So the million $ question is who logged in using the master-p official account yesterday? master-p profile shows last logged in December 28, 2015, 02:39:46 PM: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=89329

Its wierd that he apparently created a new account with a signed message saying he'd sold his master-p bitcointalk account and associated accounts for 2BTC back in August. He also went on to say he's sorry but cant help and wont be coming back.
Then another couple of accounts were created again saying they were him but that his accounts have been hacked and not sold and he'll do his best to repay the money (which now stands at over 25BTC I believe).
The funds are still in the addresses they were sent to.
So my thoughts are that either this was an exit scam attempt from master-p but he's got cold feet after being threatened with a dox or that his accounts have really been hacked but they cant get access to his private keys to steal the coins.
Whats worrying is that one of the latter accounts created when he said he'd only just found out about this is that he said he was 'going to get some sleep'. Surely anyone with his high standing in the community and wanting to try and keep some dignity and respect would have got a couple of matchsticks if they were tired and stuck them between their eyelids and worked tirelessly to prove they had in fact been hacked and tried to clear their name.
The worrying thing is there seems to be no attempt from master-p to prove his innocence
But after all is said this still doesn't add up, is it an attempted master-p exit scam or has he been hacked?
I'm afraid to say my money is still on an exit scam but I hope to be proved wrong.

I am selling Fitbit Surges for $70 each. They will be delivered straight to your address (only one per address). However, you may get a replacement product. This is out of my control, but thankfully it is rare. My team is busy and may require two days of response time, but I will respond as quickly as possible to any questions that you may have. I am also selling Keurig Rivos in retail packaging for $75. These are exactly like what you buy in stores. I am also offering $100 and $50 checks for the price of $50 and $25 respectively. These checks will have your name and are 100% valid, but keep in mind that you can only have one of each per address. I accept BTC for all members. PayPal will only be accepted for trusted members. The funds will have to be sent as "friends and family." Being new here, I highly recommend that you use escrow. I may be able to do them to other countries as well. Don't hesitate to ask questions! Add me on Skype: TheMarcusAnderson@outlook.comWhere do these 'double your money' cheques come from? They come from customer service. If you add me on skype, I can discuss this in full detail. I'm very honest with my services and will not attempt to obfuscate anything, unlike some sellers here. Keep in mind that many sellers here use similar methods that I employ. I can point out a few right now, but that would be sales trashing. @DarkStar_ As far as "scamming" goes, I use full escrow, so rest assured that your product will be delivered under the agreed upon terms. I honestly don't understand why you've picked my thread to trash when there are many that are similar. You've taken a cursory look at one of the worst forums out there and arrived at flawed conclusions. I am also not restricted to Fitbit. What is your problem? I dont do skype. Can you explain 'they come from customer service'. Customer service where?

For the record if this does turn out to be a case of stolen / hacked identity and is proven beyond doubt then I will obviously apologise and remove my comments suggesting this was a scam by master-p.
I still have a small hope that people will get their coins returned but there have already been so many twists in this drama I'm not sure what to think anymore....
I think the most likely scenarios are (in order of possibility):
1). Original master-p exit scam. 2). master-p sold the account and its an exit scam from the new owner. 3). The account was hacked. 4). This has all been a bad dream and I'll wake up soon....

Somebody should get Gleb on this thread and get this case straightened out. He is good at this exposing the real imposters. He outed someone in a giveaway with nothing more then a name and a link. He is like the forum Batman.
He's like a dog with a bone when he gets on a case. Hopefully he's working on it already.

I also have two "brass" previously funded coins, with the security stickers still attached. The TC is no longer attached. These are faked quite a bit from what I am seeing, so not sure if people are collecting the real deal?
Trying to gauge the value.
I will take a few pictures this evening when I get home.
Pictures with username and date please .

Your account has been hacked? The password hasn't changed so why dont you log back in and sort this shit out with your master-p account? Calling this yet more BS . I can't log in to my account so clearly the password has been changed at some point while I was gone.Just wow. This community is so bent on throwing me under the bus without giving it a chance at getting it fixed. If nobody is willing to help then consider your coins lost because I don't know any other way to help fix this. The only thing I can do is go back home in about a week, boot up my PC, and hopefully be able to change the passwords on my wallets before the hacker is able to export or send the coins out. If anyone has any better ideas then please let me know. If not then I guess I am on my own and will have to wish for the best. And even in such a dire situation, still so many sig spammers trying to bump up their post count in here.. It's a fucking shame. This 360 seconds posting restriction sucks. I'll come back tomorrow morning, going to sleep now. If your password has been changed recently it would tell us in red text on your profile page. EDIT: At the moment this looks like an exit scam using the master-p account and several other linked alt accounts. As the plot thickens and more information comes to light it looks like its been done by the original master-p. Also if you've seriously only just found this thread and commented how can you even consider going to sleep? This shit is serious and unless you want to be doxxed I'd recommend sorting this mess out asap and return the missing funds.

I can see someone else already tried impersonating me telling the story of my account being sold to mislead everyone.
Whoever is on my steam account likely tried to take any valubles out of it but should not be able to because they need to go through mobile auth in order to complete any outgoing trades. But I am certain whoever it is already knows my password and has tried scamming some of my friends who are on my friend list.
So it seems my reputation has effectively been ruined beyond repair, and the community being so highly speculative and skeptical it would be difficult for me to convince everyone this is the real me and that my story is true.
Tell me how I can help prove this to you guys. I would like to regain access to my account, my bitcoin wallets, my e-mail, and anything else that may have been compromised.
The one good thing I see here is that the funds are not moved at all and with that I assume the hacker doesn't have enough control to be able to send out any transactions. We still have a chance to fix this if anyone is actually willing to help.

I think master-p and/or the new account owner are doing some serious thinking right now and wondering if the hell that's about to be unleashed on them is actually worth what they could steal.
