Well Philipma1957 does unbiased reviews here and is limited on the power to keep doing new reviews.  What do you do with your old miners? Huh

I think his point was that opening the box, plugging it in and running for a day before advertising it for sale doesn't help us much. I personally run my units until they die, or I'm really at 100% capacity. I like to see exactly where the other end of the bathtub curve is, when the units fail, why and how. That tells us a lot.
True, I get that.  But other operating costs are involved.  Have you seen his setup?  And I thought I was ghetto. Cheesy
I'm not bashing you Dogie, I think anyone with initiative to do a review is doing good for the community.
Sfards would be smart to release a few for reviews in the coming weeks.

2-3 th would be awesome, info hopefully will come out this next week.  I enjoy running them, they're fairly quiet ( 2 @ 67db ) and the cooling is adequate.

Should be interesting just like their last release.  Might actually be a good performing miner for the home but again I like to play with Tinker Toys.
It's suppose to be released next month if everything goes right.  Probably not a server farm implementation but home miners should enjoy.
645  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I will be reviewing a new server psu+ breakout board. Results and photos on: March 21, 2015, 02:27:01 AM
Looking forward to it, thanks. Smiley
646  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S2 upgrade kit? EDIT: New info 3/11 on: March 20, 2015, 06:12:46 PM
I guess the correct answer to my questions is....
Is it a go? Or not.  Was going to buy at least one more S2 if this was for sure going to happen.  Just would like a nod, yes or no.  The specs speculated warrant the interest.
647  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Ark Customized Version Of The A1 Chip Bitcoin Miner 1.5T ( low power consumption on: March 18, 2015, 02:49:29 AM
No offense but was this Google translated?  On first read I thought you might be from Texas, ore mining really?
Can't blame them on trying to use up all their old chips.  Was a price stated in there somewhere?
648  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S2 upgrade kit? EDIT: New info 3/11 on: March 18, 2015, 02:37:09 AM
Bitmain, need some love here.  Some news has to be available about the kits by now especially if the plans were to sell by the end of the month.  Nothing like chiming in about something then not delivering, sounds like same old story we've encountered through other suppliers.  You know this forum likes teasers and for that matter deserves them. Cool  Just let us know if anything has changed in the schedule that's all.
649  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Looking for Web/Internet power plug for remote reset. on: March 17, 2015, 03:26:28 AM
They actually have something like that Huh  I'm setting up a webserver at home to handle those chores. Wink
650  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: NEEDED: Bitmain Antminer S2 IO Controller Board on: March 17, 2015, 03:23:58 AM
Yes one of mine was damaged, boards everywhere.  Seems Bitmain used several different hold down structure designs for the pcb boards, some not so good.  Your best bet is to wait and get it on ebay, otherwise post in the "Computer Hardware" section under "Goods" and someone may have one for you.  It doesn't hurt to ask Bitmain but they seem to be hesitant in stocking spare parts for older models.
651  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: starting a small farm, should I get s5? on: March 17, 2015, 12:31:07 AM
You have a couple months then just wait....... something is bound to come up and it will be shiny.

 Grin  Yes Sir, Special Edition!
653  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S2 upgrade kit? EDIT: New info 3/11 on: March 16, 2015, 03:23:26 AM
Bitmain, my S2's are hungry and tired...... please release some more info.

Why are you running your S2 topless? Mine always ran hot when I did that. Also, why is it blasting directly at a wall? Tongue
For me they seemed to run cooler with the lids off.  The ambient in the garage is about 68f and both S2's are at 53c.  The
fans are running at 2280 rpm.  They are further from the wall than you think from pic. about a foot or just shy. Wink
654  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Low power chips WANTED!!! 0.3 W/Ghs or around. Ideal miner design for exchange on: March 15, 2015, 02:47:50 PM
Wow a company dedicated to the miner first, seems to have been said loosely before by every company.  Until they made enough to start their own multi petahash farms.
655  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Avalon4 with global shipping can be purchased here! on: March 15, 2015, 02:39:16 PM
Sorry to hear to hear that.  I just bought a pi screen and same thing happened to me it works on model B but not pi 2.  Avalon needs to update they're image.  Seems stupid to buy old boards.  The problem with the pi's and the like is we have to wait for someone to code it.  Still haven't got my Bitcoin node running on the pi, no tutorial seems to work.  I want an Avalon to run in my house but the price needs to drop a bit.
656  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Deep In The Mines Cryptocurreny Mining Hardware on: March 15, 2015, 01:21:01 PM
I dont think you will be able to sell S5 for 625$ here.

This is the bitcoin forum. We know the price and are able to do the math.

Which you the best for your company but dont expect a lot of sell here.

Cheer

Valkir

That's fine we also posted on a few other forums and continue to sell on other marketplaces. Thanks for your best wishes though  Smiley

Really you actually just said that.  Don't you know where you are?  Crypto starts here or at least if you want the word out.  But it also ends here if you're a bogus scammer.  Feel free to search posts and you may learn about the products you're selling

Confused, never checked my coupons.  Looks like they have expired.  The validity date is the last date they're usable?
Sorry for the stupid ? Wink

You can still ask support.
Will try that, thanks.
658  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I will be reviewing a new server psu+ breakout board. a few photos on: March 14, 2015, 10:00:09 PM
Yes it is within specs. of a platinum rating.  Thanks for doing this.... next up is the setup of the pi as a controller and how to log into it from away.
If you are up to it that is.

His website isn't showing platinum pkg. let alone other server psu's.  Is this available just through the forums?   Huh
