For those interested in mining Quark algorithm coins (Quark coin, etc.) on NiceHash/WestHash: Quark algorithm has been addedYou can download sgminer with Quark support here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=software#sgminerMULTIALGO note:Quark is disabled on multilago by default (transition will probably take a while). But nevertheless if you want to use multialgo you can still use it by manually adding Quark factor to your pool's password setting, for example: "pass" : "f0=0;f2=0;f3=8.5;f4=4.5;f5=500;f6=3.5;f7=14;f8=0.35;f9=1.25;f10=135;f11=6.5; f12=2", (as always, remember to add this to ALL your NiceHash/WestHash pools entries, not only for the new Quark entry).

We have to apply a few updates, therefore connection to NiceHash web as well as stratum servers will be interrupted in the next hour. Thank you for understanding.

We implemented 1day/7days/30days graph stats per pool / user / worker. This gives you the ability to get user friendly insight into pool/user/worker current and past statistics. Enjoy!

Would be good if you added a "btcsig" to the ckpool conf file like everyone else does: "/Kano" - "/solo.ckpool.org" - "/BitClub" As it stands your coinbase sig just says "ckpool", which is in all the coinbase sigs of the pools that use ckpool that haven't removed "ckpool" from the code.
OK, Kano, thanks for this, will make it "/NiceHashSolo".

NiceHash solo mining Bitcoin pool found it's first block The happy user already said thanks and sent us the print-screen of his/her lucky AntMiner S3: Congratulations!

Looks like someone hit blockchain lottery? Am I reading that correct? Unfortunately it wasn't me.
If that is correct on the site. 12 TH hit a block in the first 3 days. Pretty damn lucky. I started 2 hours ago and think I may switch back.

can you add your fee address and coinbase signature?
This is the fee address: 1Fdpys8g2Dsnk2vyLARdDidAebCafrH2Wb Which coinbase signature exactly do you require?

Since our NiceHash Solo pool is now fully operating please add it to your list: Pool: NiceHash Solo Website: https://solo.nicehash.com/Proxy: No Payout method: 1 block reward Fee: 0.5% Pay Tx Reward: yes Vardiff: "18 SPM" Local Work: stratum Pay Orphans: No Min Withdrawal: 1 block reward Merge Mining: No Thanks!

Hashing power buyers: since the TRON mining rush is over there is plenty of SHA256 hashing power available at attractive prices.

Getting consistent 10% rejected speed, I have Extranonce subscription. Running S4 on a cgminer 4.9. On other pools I get max 0.4% rejected. This really sux nicehash.
Try both stratum.westhash.com and stratum.nicehash.com (it depends on your miner's location - see https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=gstarted).

A quick update for Spondoolies users (SP20, SP3x): if you upgraded to a recent stable firmware you'll have an option to set "ExtraFlag" = "2" at the "Settings" page. After setting this flag you only have to reboot the miner (not just restart the mining, but actually reboot it) and it will boot into cgminer4.8.0 with extranonce.subscribe enabled (no need to use SSH, etc.). Then set your pool connection URL and you're all set:
stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3334#xnsub
or
stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3334#xnsub

I set Extranonce subscription to "2" (20minutes ago) on my sp20, but it doesn't show up on Westhash. Thoughts? Do i need more patience or is something not working correctly?
Your miner will appear in the list almost instantly you connect it (1 minute). If you don't see it, then it must be a problem on your side. It's in the list, but has a red X for extranonce even though I set extranonce to "2" for sp20 settings. Spoondoolies made a bit confusing implementation of cgminer with extranonce support (it has two cgminer binaries installed). Basically you don't have to put "2" into the "ExtraFlag" settings, but rather follow these instructions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=850620.msg10749390#msg10749390This way any Spondoolies (SP20, SP3x) should work flawlessly with extranonce support. p.s.: maybe someone should ask Spondoolies support if there is another (more elegant, via GUI) way to enable the second cgminer binary (4.8.0) with extranonce support...

We added two features: 1. If you enter an invalid address you will be rejected (authorization error). So no more "lost lottery tickets" Make sure you use valid/existing address when connecting! 2. You can set preferred mining difficulty. Our system is using vardiff and will automatically adjust optimal difficulty for your miner. Nevertheless you can set custom preferred difficulty by setting diff_xxx in your worker password, example for Litecoin pool with Titan miner: stratum+tcp://stratum.solo.nicehash.com:3333 -u yourAddress.Worker1 -p diff_16384 You can set it similarly for Bitcoin and Dash pool. Warning: for Dash you have to take into account difficulty multiplier. Diff have to be multiplied by 65536. Example: if you want to set difficulty for Dash to 0.03125 you have to enter diff_2048 (0.03125 * 65536 = 2048).

Can't connect to solo LTC through miningrigrentals.
Hmm, try contact miningrigrentals, they probably have to tune something at their side. Any plans on creating a westhash solo pool for us North American folk?
You can use solo pool from West/North America as well, solo pool is well network connected.
