Yaamp has added the skein and the groestl algos...
VERSION 44e (my 5th compilation on Linux, your latest git)
Skein rocks on Yaamp at 452,800kh/s for my 6x750ti FTW rig, or 75,000+ kh/s per 750ti.  These hash rates are similar to Whirlpoolx rates.
Groestl only gives me rejects on Yaamp, 100% red "booooos".  Might be poolside...
These two algos have not seen much use yet, payout is currently low.       --scryptr

How much faster is SKEIN than the 1.6.1 ? (tpruvot version)

75MHASH is around 25 times faster than x11. Yamp is paying 0.0152 per GHASH. is 0.0152 *25 =0,38 per GHASH (x11 adusted rate )

mining x11 directly will only give you 0.199 per GHASH with the current rates..

NEW ALGOS--

I agree.  However, no-one is getting shares for Groestl accepted at Yaamp just now.  I saw sgminer v5.1.1 receiving 100% rejects, and CPUminer v2.3.2 receiving 100% rejects, and with your code I got the same.

Looks like a poolside problem.

I'll try tpruvot's miner sometime today.

Another note, my quark rate dropped slightly with this hours-old build, 36600 to about 36430 for the rig.

I have trouble making sense of Yaamps graphs, charts, and payout rates.  Staying on their website is a real load for my system, also.  It cuts mining performance 20-25%.              --scryptr
The same here scryptr.... yaamp cuts mining performance 20-25%.

Hmmmm...

To clarify, yaamp's website has so many scripts running that it slows down my GTX 960 if I am watching the website and mining with my GTX 960 at the same time.  My dedicated, headless rigs are not affected by this.       --scryptr

p.s.  sp_'s latest builds on v44 are top performers.  I checked out tpruvot's v 1.6.1 and KlausT's v 3.0 and they lag behind on most algos in kh/s.  Both authors focus on other areas besides top performance, and both have fixed coding errors for other coders, as well.  I am getting 9.4Mh/s with my GTX 960 SSC for Quark, at default intensity with v44e by sp_hash.       --scryptr

If anyone is interested in renting Quark hashing power or mining Quark algo for BTC payouts: we added Quark algorithm to NiceHash.com/WestHash.com

Kind regards,

I have added a threads per gpu parameter just like in sgminer.  ex: -g 2

Some algos get a boost.

Most impovement on compute 5.2 devices. (960,970,980)

x11 with -g 2 on the 750 ti, the performance is reduced by 0.5MHASH.
The parameter is not always producing higher hashrates.

The stats are reported by each thread, so some more work is needed. (run with -q, so the screen is not flooded with hashrates)

Note that -g 2 will reduce the intensity by one. this can be overridden with the -i parameter.

I will build release 45 now.

here are my numbers with the current build 45

Any suggestions to improve my output would be greatly appreciated

Using this startup

ccminer -i 21 -a x11 -o stratum+tcp://us-east1.dash.miningpoolhub.com:20465 -u user -p d=0.1

using precisionX to bump the GPU to +266 MHz

seems to do great rapid acceptance fo the first 7 then after that each line takes awhile like 10 seconds or more

the current compile of 45 actually broke x11 for the systems here sp ...

quark runs nicely though Smiley ...

out of memory and core dump errors ... and 44 is fine with those algos though ...

Get the latest version and try x11 with -g 4!

the 750ti is peaking at 3200 at standard clocks!

edit:

in benchmark mode, but on the pool I get some does not validate on the cpu...

What about without the -g parameter?

Looks like the -g need some more work. It might not work on all algos..

the -g 4 parameter ( actually -g 2 also ) just doesnt work - it drops just after it starts with no error message that i can see ...

take the -g 4 parameter out - and its all ok with this newer build ... but only on some of the machines in the farm ...

with others - v44 needed to be reinstated due to v45 giving errors with the aforementioned - core dump and memory out errors ...

will get to this tomorrow - as its late here now and sleep awaits Smiley ...

tanx again sp ...
