641  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Op zoek naar mede investeerders on: June 28, 2013, 01:02:41 PM

642  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Op zoek naar mede investeerders on: June 27, 2013, 12:29:32 AM

This is the output i get when i give the command in the easyminer\bfgminer map
Its actually connected to my old htpc at the moment since it does not work at all on my new intel i7 system even if i install any of them given winsub drivers
The new machine has many usb3 ports i am not sure if this is the reason why it totally fails to see the device even though its clearly listed in the usb devices under hardware.

I am experiencing similer problems with the bfl asic jalapeno device
Posted on the bfgminer thread as well, this thing baffles me.

Now to make it even more interresting i do have 5 pc's in the house and all are somewhat different machines
The weirdest of all is on some of them do work without messing with winusb driver crap
Well as long as i use easyminer or bitminter client they run.

Ofcourse this would be good if i really wanted to mine on these pools.

Now if i want to run cgminer or bfgminer from command line they fail, giving messages device not found or timed out messages.
To be precise i use the same pools to test to see if it actually wants to run.

My main intel pc which i want to run the miner on simply does not work, i tried installing the winusb v6 driver which caused me numerous problems with attached usb devices as well.
I also tried another similar usb driver which gave me the same problems and not finding usb devices for mining problem
Do not get me wrong windows even with its own driver finds the device and reports it connected.

Just cgminer does not find it or times out for some reason. I get the same with bfgminer
I do however not want the programs to use any of my gpu's simply because they eat too much juice.
646  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 3.1.0: modular ASIC/FPGA, GBT, Strtm, RPC, Lnx/OpnWrt/PPA/W64, BFLSC on: June 21, 2013, 07:40:01 PM
I received a jalapeno mini miner from bfl and run into some weird problems
To recover some of the stolen btc and the financial losses with buying from BFL
So i decided to mine enough to get a better miner someday

When i use the easyminer software i can run it on some pools and seem to run ok but kinda sluggish

Now comes the idiot part when i use cgminer or bfgminer from a command batch it simply does not find the asic miner
So i start the easyminer crap and poof it runs again.
For parameters i used the help provided on eligius wiki and help pages

I do not want the miners to use any gpu they find since that would kill any income considering the electircal costs in my country for little extra hashes

bfgminer -G -o stratum+tcp://stratum.mining.eligius.st:3334 -O my btc address

for the other i used cgminer -o http://stratum.mining.eligius.st:3334 -u address -p x -G

When i start both it takes a while to start and then i get the message no comm devices detected.

So i took another test with bitminter client and guess what: it simply runs instant without any problem
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Hacked and stolen on: May 17, 2013, 02:40:18 PM
A good idea warpio that might work as well as long as it is able to be compatible with the current bitcoin clients
Which i think plays also also a small minor contribution into my drama.
I had to update the client/wallet so thats why the wallet was on my pc.
Ofcourse i should have put it back on the removable disc but i simply forgot to do it because of all kinda personal problems
Their is nothing i can do to change the events which have lead to this event.
Should i have not reported these botnetters to the pool owners ?, should i not have reported them to internet police ?
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Hacked and stolen on: May 17, 2013, 02:23:00 PM
I see i have posted in my anger a statement which i should not have made

For that i do make my apology to the good members of the community.

But i sincerely would like to see some kinda secure system or a bank where you can put the coins for safe keeping with some kind of protection if it is being hacked.

I sure as hell would have instant used it if it existed in the first place.

I can tell you that when i retrace the bitcoin address that several hundreds of bitcoins are being processed so i am sure many more people have lost their belongings besides me.

Also the stealing from me is shortly after i reported the botnetter which had infected many friends their pc's with a secret miner to some pool owners, another fact is that i retraced on all those pc's that they was infiltrated from ip's originated which are located within Iran
Ofcourse those pc's also could have been victims of the culprit(s) for that i can not provide enough proof, i just can state they was all in iran.

Second i do think if bitcoin wants to become a system which all can use that there should be some kinda way to to get the money back if this kinda things happen
At our banking system you can reclaim a payement if it has been made in error. That ofcourse needs some kinda group of persons who would see if that claim is valid or just another try for scamming someone. If a bank goes bancrupt you get payed by a governement fund up to 100.000 euro.

I would like to thank those who expressed their sympathie as well by this post. These criminals make a promising iniative very bad

649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Hacked and stolen on: May 17, 2013, 01:06:39 PM
your statement that my pc is not protected well enough is first of all a joke. my pc is very well protected, but a good hacker does have no problem hacking into even goverments, banks and big companies.
So assuming that your safe .... think again having a good firewall and and a router does not mean your safe at all
650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Hacked and stolen on: May 17, 2013, 12:57:52 PM
 Angry

After many months not being active on bitcoins i was reading about some person busy developing something so i decided i wanted to send him a small donation.
The reason for my inactivity is that i am waiting for for butterfly labs to send me my ordered single SC which seems to be the second scam at present.

Anyway I installed the new version of bitcoin-qt and fired it up

After it opened i instant spotted a huge transaction being send from my client about a month ago to this address which is obvious one of hundreds addresses which are constant being used to resend it to another address since this thief tries to cover his tracks (1BxFY9cD3KPJMtvKEDTbLj7ZoijoTpzNyb)
I also traced back that the culpritt operated from IRAN where his ip address resides

So this made me painfully clear that bitcoin is far form being a safe community and that your painfully mined bitcoins are not safe at all from thiefs, scammers and other bad persons luring to get them from you.

So in the years i have been active on bitcoin i got scammed and stolen several hundred bitcoins

nice going bad memebers of the bitcoin community

Zeker omdat men vandaag mij simpelweg anwtoord : uw jalapeno zal zeker worden verstuurd.

652  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1423GH] ABCPool PPS - Proxy Pool For High & Steady Mining Rewards on: March 28, 2013, 02:44:04 AM
I am kinda shocked that a user from this pool is infecting pc's with miner as a trojan installed
As i was asked to check some gamers their pc's since they where complaining about slow performance of their computers, carefull investigation brought to light they where being setup to mine at abcpool.co this is a very bad situation for the miner community...

If you guys want to continue give bitcoin a bad name go ahead, but if its on my watch you guys gonna loose... cause i will find these hidden miners no matter what happens.
I know the details of this person misusing other computers and am in discussion about the action we are going to undertake against this person(s).

Well its just that you need to tweak the settings with the power safe functions
Even though people can give tips what to look for, you nevertheless are the one who need to find the best setting for this.

I found another settings sometimes made my system go berserk which was my drives going into sleep mode which
caused my pc to crash sometimes. Somehow even though this pc has 64 Gb ram windows seem to wanted to access the swap file .... (weird ms stuff Wink )

So its just finding the proper settings which make it run flawless, anyway mine has been running stable for many months.
Ofcourse when a new version of a miner gets released it might change Wink, but thats another matter.

lol people seems to forget that all monitors en tv's have still got a normal power off button
just set your power savings not todo as diablo mentioned and just push the off button on the monitor
(ps: warn the gf/wife that they can turn them on by pushing ... button Wink "or else they come screaming that crap pc of yours not working again" )
658  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows 2.5.0 on: July 17, 2012, 12:51:13 AM
Hey ckolivas
I posted my hardware and config file earlier, but non gave a suggestion nor an answer.
But before i read your post about the readme, i took an old batch for testing which had a small difference with my normal config file
my dual 7970 cards run for a long time fine with 750 core / 800 mem mhz speed this because our country has one of the highest energy price worldwide due to extreme taxes.
Anyway the old batch was as follows :
-I 7 --verbose --gpu-engine 800 --temp-target 75 --temp-cutoff 95 --temp-overheat 80 --gpu-memclock 800 --debug -T 2>logfile.txt

Now here comes the thing i do not understand the 2.4.3 runs fine with the settings earlier provided but here i post them again :

"intensity" : "7",
"gpu-engine" : "750",
"gpu-memclock" : "800",
"temp-overheat" : "85",
"temp-cutoff" : "95",
"temp-target" : "75",
"failover-only" : true,
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"retry-pause" : "5",
"scan-time" : "60",
"worksize" : "256",
"expiry" : "120",
"vectors" : "2",
"algo" : "auto",
"queue" : "1",
"log" : "5"

Believe it or not the difference is the 50 mhz lesser clock on the core which causes cgminer to crash with 2.4.4 and 2.5.0
Nevertheless i might miss a error or another reason for the fail, ofcourse you could says keep it running at 800 core but that would actually produce a lot of heat and ofcourse bigger usage on the meter.
659  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows 2.5.0 on: July 11, 2012, 11:34:48 PM
I have the same 2.4.4 and 2.5.0 causing massive problems
So went back to 2.4.3 which seems the only good version for now
660  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows 2.5.0 on: July 09, 2012, 11:36:55 PM
I have not updated cgminer since version 2.4.3 on my win7 x64 box with dual 7970 gpu's running with catalyst 12.6

So when i saw you have released 2 newer versions i firstly installed the 2.5.0 version and restarted my batch with the usual config file

Sadly i see that mining does not start on my pool
Instead i see it reporting that the pool is not providing work fast enough and switches to another pool

Another thing what instant caught my attention is the extreme low mining performance (i run my card on low clocks and temp (750 mhz core  / 800 memory speed))

So i downloaded version 2.4.4 to see if that would run normal, but here again same issue.

With the 2.4.3 i get a average mining speed of 850 mh but with the newer versions i get an enormous drop in speed and again the failure to run at the pool i wish as my primary pool

When i use the newer versions i get with both cards a mining speed between  500 and 620 mh ... my question is why or did i make a mistake in the config

here is the parameter part of my config file

"intensity" : "7",
"gpu-engine" : "750",
"gpu-memclock" : "800",
"temp-overheat" : "85",
"temp-cutoff" : "95",
"temp-target" : "75",
"failover-only" : true,
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"retry-pause" : "5",
"scan-time" : "60",
"worksize" : "256",
"expiry" : "120",
"vectors" : "2",
"algo" : "auto",
"queue" : "1",
"log" : "5"
}
