I logged on to see and all looks like it should be
There might be a little coins lost, because my miners kept going for some time, before i stopped it Smiley.
But i think even those are added if i count what it mined before the closure.

Good job, hopefully no more nasty things for the next 100 years Cheesy
For those with little power i did not even want to answer the endless rants, I just say not all people in the bitcoin world are trying to steal your coins.
303  Local / Markt / KNC Jupiter+ te koop (for sale) + 5 antminer S1 on: March 29, 2014, 05:37:23 PM

For english speaking people,

This offer is till monday afternoon then the miners are being shipped towards a hoster in the usa.

I am offering for sale 5 Antminer S1's and a KNC Jupiter+ which means its an october model controller with 5 asics.
The KNC machines are often being compared to the S1's but that total BS, you can not say a S1 is the same.

The KNC jupi+ delivers 720+ Gh with about 830 watts with a good psu on the wall here with 220volts.
The machine needs a bit more space because it has 1 external board which runs fine and steady
I have currently clocked them down since temps are rising in my barn and the 5 ants produce alot of heat.
In general the KNC produces less heat and you hardly hear it
So to get the same speed as the Jupi+ you need 3 to 4 ants which use almost double the power for the same hashspeed.

That does not mean the S1's are not fine machines, they mine perfect and do what they should do at startup the Ants pull over 400watts
And after initial startup run and the noisy fan the power sinks to around 360 watt non overclocked

They are easy to setup and i am ofcourse willing to help to get them working if remote access is possible.

Currently the Ants are still selling as warm bread

Well my order of november 2013 arrived
sadly in a damaged or opened box
Its absolute certain that the a side has been opened by customs or other subjects.
And it looks like some items either fell out or that i supposed to use 1 thumbscrew and 1 copper board spacer. to mount a mainboard and gpu's.
I have no idea what suppose to be in the box, but would not surprise me if more is missing
The problem is that you get a choice to either receive the box or let it go back, without seeing the state its in.
Another nice disappointment

Ah that sucks - don't stress, the spare brass standoff and thumbscrew is just that, a spare included for those that have odd motherboard mounts and need to reposition their motherboard.

Once you've used the assembly guide you'll be able to ascertain what is missing, if anything, and we can courier replacements to you:)

I need to get some time to build the rack but this far only busy with care of my lady being sick.
And lots of other tasks to complete. So far as i see the pictures in the thread it looks like something or someone had used considerable force
The tapped place for a "(thumb) screw which is not there" has been bent, and i see i am missing already the thumbscrews and/or brass standoffs

The whole top of the box was torn loose at 1 side, i need to check the list of parts to see if any of the pipes are missing.
But as i compared the pictures i think most of the pipes is present, so looks like someone needed some thumbscrews and standoffs for personal use.

Or the customs guys had the bright idea their might have been drugs in the thumbscrews Sad
As i can see on the pictures those screws should be mounted on the pipes, coming weekend going to check what is missing.

For an audit of a site you can not expect it to be done in a few days.
Just be a little patient and in coming 5 days we will see what happens.
If they startup too soon and have not solved the problem it all end up in the same mess after some time or worse.

307  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Server Power Supply Interface Board - for standalone miners and GPU rigs on: March 19, 2014, 01:07:19 PM
I found the Ants only pull a bit over 200 watt at startup
The fan on the Ant starts full speed and then lowers after a short time
When they are hashing it drops indeed to around 180 watt if not overclocked
Total power used on a non overclocked S1 is around 360 watt consistent
When overclocking i see the Ants pull a lot more up to 525 watts.
But i already know many of those high overclocked Ants will not have a long life, as i see alot of people post their Ant suddenly stopped working or was pumping out errors.

Foundry stage means that they prepare machines to make the chips

When coins are made they prep a model that stamps the metal with the imprint they want

This kinda similar with the machines for making the chips

Once they got it right and have low enough losses they enter the pre production stage
(testing the chips and performance) often they make changes on the final design in this stage.

When coinex is backup up i will continue to use them.
Simple as that and i am sure that the lost income will be recovered in time for him as well
As i was thinking i would like to have an option to store coins for later trading into a cold storage which can be opened in say 48 hours, i am even willing to pay a small fee todo so that way it becomes very hard to loose the coins.
And in a very moderate time frame releasing the coins would be still good enough to trade them.
Ofcourse people have to think carefull about the cold storage because if you want to react on fast moving value coins, the somewhat longer time to release them could spoil the fast sell.

People do not start asking how and why, even nsa, nasa, banks, anything on the planet gets hacked
As soon as it connects to the internet your at risk.
I said many times to people here that a good hacker gets in everything on the planet if they want, and many people posted that i am a idiot. A few months later this forum was a victim themselfs.
It simple if they can they will and if you challenge a hacker he will take up that challenge
In the old days they used gpu farms to crack security keys but i am pretty sure they moved onto better and bigger power as well to crack keys and security.
So long story short i will wait till coinex update us on the progress.
I hope he will keep us informed from time to time about this.

We all learned again nothing is safe from hackers, we all know if it has value others want to steal it.
Thats why every trade on the internet is a risky one, not only here but on ebay, shops, exchanges.
As long as the coins are untrackable to the source and point direct at the thief you never ever will catch the ones stealing.
Thats the problem with the coins they are easier to steal without anyone able to tell you stole them.
I  am not trying to tell that it would solve the theft issue because money has numbers but often thiefs get away with it as well. However some end up in jail when trying to use the stolen money.

For me Coinex earns my respect for letting out the truth and explain what happened.
If he gets it backup and it will be more secure after startup thats a good thing.

311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: March 13, 2014, 01:43:16 PM
Well seems many people outside and inside europe have to learn the new SEPA ( swift/bic ) system
Every bank in europe uses them and does no longer accept simple 9 to 10 number back numbers.
We have to use the freaking new swift/bic which is very hard to remember
The only way to make it easy is to allways carry a new bankcard in your wallet so you can read it on your card.
Sweden uses the same system so banks in other countries should be able to handle them, if they don't they are freakign far behind with adopting it.
Or they never do international orders, its know for what 8 years that sepa would become standard in the eu banking so they had time enough to change the way they handle eu transfers.
If you got such a damn lazy bank its not knc who to blame
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: March 11, 2014, 12:06:54 AM
Omg how the hell you want to compare a machine which suxx 400 watt for 190 Gh to machines which use less then half of that power for the same hashpower
Fraking wankers stop comparing these, let your brain work a bit if it can.
I offer some miner for sale who use half the freaking power and people start crying i can buy a ant for less .... brainless twirps
313  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: [ANN] OpenRigs.com - Aluminium Frames for Mining Rigs on: March 06, 2014, 04:54:59 PM
Well if thats the case i can not see it (yet)
Every package from and to me should become visible in the online postnl program
This far i can not see anything yet.
But if it arrives i still think such a insane long wait is not very good
I do understand that you had startup problems, when i ordered but november till march is way overdue.
The fact that i kept my calm for so many months does not mean i am/was not concerned.
314  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: [ANN] OpenRigs.com - Aluminium Frames for Mining Rigs on: March 06, 2014, 03:05:57 PM
I am again waiting on something which is not happening either

You claimed to send me the postage return on paypal

This far i see nothing paid to my paypal from you and ofcourse still no package.

316  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Intersango insolvent? on: March 05, 2014, 01:56:33 PM
To me it looks like the persons behind intersango ran with was left in the exchange.
All these weeks no news nor has the site came back up, i fear its the same as with mtgox they disappeared both the same way
I tried edit the bitcoin wiki, to put a warning and messages about all these disappeared exhanges ( sadly i can not )
Many have been shutdown in a very nasty way gladly i had taken my funds out of them because i became frustrated to see funds added taken 2 months to be processed
When i tried to get the btc out it took 4 weeks, that sort of things make the red flag rise in my experience.
If companies start delay or hardly do what they should and paying takes longer then it should you can bet something fishy is going on.
317  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Oplossing tegen oplopende elektriciteits kost? on: February 28, 2014, 01:46:42 AM

Common people these chips cost $5 to make them each and are sold for 1000 each is it so hard to know how its done
The guys who bought the first batch of neptunes paid the whole design and prebuild phase and the next batch gave them another huge boost to buy even more chips
All that idiot stories that its expenssive to make asics should contact any fab, these things cost crap they are not cpu's but the most stupid chips on the planet.
I can not tell it often enough in big numbers they cost even less then a few dollars, we paid far over $1000 each

Hey Jim

Not sure what the issue is here I have multiple transactions which state "This transaction is not yet confirmed seen by 63 peers" Funds are gone but the tx is not on the blockchain?

I have reset the blockchain and tx but still no joy?  Huh

Is it the famous 0.0000000001 amounts then its the coinwars stuff, they actually are not send, these are intended to kill the blockchain by filling it with crap

I see armory started bitcoind then after 12 hours it was 99% 0 blocks
Then 2 days nothing no movement nor changes nothing just showing 99% 0 blocks
can not open the wallet nothing moves
When i start bitcoin-qt or bitcoind direct they open nromally after the endless check they allways do
Restarting armory gives the same it shows the 99% and 0 blocks and thats it

this is showed in the log :
