I read two blog articles which cover the controversy of Ardor's license. I got interested why I read some parts of the license but I am not sure I got the point of the controversy. How does it limit the Open Source use of Ardor? And are forks of Ardor with the license even possible?

It is based on KMD/BTC and not KMD/USD. If Bitcoin loses value it is normal that altcoins gain in Bitcoin value. So in the end it could rise a gain more Bitcoin value but in total it can decrease in USD value. Of course, it looks differently when Bitcoin and Komodo prices go up together.

Also, BarterDex is a game changer. The hack of South Korean exchange Youbit has shown again the risk of centralized exchanges.

I installed the new nano wallet. Not much has changed. The view of "Manage Delegated Account" has changed a little. I activated delegate harvesting and now it shows remote status is active and harvesting status is inactive. I am wondering if delegate harvesting is still running or not?

Genau den Text hatte ich gelesen, aber mir wird da wenig klarer.
Mit welchen Blockexplorer kann ich das nachprüfen? Hier kann ich keine RevShares sehen.
Meine BTCD Adresse ist mir leider auch nicht mehr bekannt, nur die Komodo-Adresse auf die die BTCD damals geswappt wurden.

Sorry für die komische Frage. Aber wie erhielt man eigentlich Revshares, da ich las, dass das irgendwie durch Halten von BTCD und Komodo der Fall war. Ich habe lange Zeit (ca. seit 2 Jahren) immer eine Menge an BTCD gehabt und diese frühzeitig in KMD geswappt. Leider habe ich aber nie Revshares erhalten. Musste man da Claimen und habe ich irgendetwas verpasst?

Das Startup hat (nach eigener Aussage) 200k+ App-Downloads, über 10 Mio. Spartransaktionen und gehört zum Deutsche Börse Fintech Hub.

Und vor allem ein ganz erfolgreiches. Laut Webseite bis Q4 2017 10 Millionen Transaktionen. Wenn ich mir so die meisten anderen ICOs anschaue, dann scheint dies ein sehr solides Startup mit ein guter Idee zu sein. Verfolge es auf jeden Fall weiter.

I agree, there is lot of potential for Byteball regardless of IOTA. I think Byteball should switch from GByte to MByte so the coin seems cheaper and more affordable. We had this discussion already some time ago with the result that we will stay at GByte for the moment. However $250 -300 seems really expensive for small investors compared to $0.25-0.30.

Byteball is centralized as well. All the witnesses are still under control of the main dev Tony and thus it is centralized. Byteball and IOTA sharing the same DAG technology but have completely different approaches. You can not really compare them. IOTA has still some problems but there is a lot ongoing in the background. More than for any other big crypto project at the moment. The new wallet will change much. The PoCs which will be released soon will show the immense potential. By then, I am glad about all the newbie FUDsters that lower the price since many weak hands sell. Good to accumulate more cheap tokens. Keep work up guys
