The question remains, why can't kyc be stopped?
Because right now from what I've learnt today, even if a project is legit, they may still be selling their participants identities to the dark market. How can all this be stopped. Not everyone knows of this. I mean I that have been in the Crypto business for 2 years is just knowing about this now, what about the rest?
You can't blame those people or entity who asking for KYC, the problem here is the people who are sharing their personal information to them.
It's should be first come to yourself because even the project is legit, we still don't know if they will share or not share with other people our personal information.

What I don't want in crypto world is that case, especially KYC. Since crypto is more on 'decentralization' why we still need KYC?
Decentralization is useless if KYC comes in.
6567  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: June 11, 2019, 03:15:04 AM
Trading can never be stressful if you use AI  Wink Thank God there's MPCX...
Do you mean trading BOT? never head AI can be use in trading.
I think the what matters here is the result, if the result is not based on expected, then I guess that would be stressful, regardless of what you use.
It is probably a trading BOT. I will never use BOT for trading, especially now I still on the learning process on trading.
I will threat trading as the school which I can learn and interact with my learning materials like books/library or teacher which you can't avoid the stress.
Stressful but if you were able to manage it and endure it, it can't be a problem.
6568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 11, 2019, 01:58:45 AM
Edit: KD is hurt, it seems he is out. Kudos to Raptors fans, cheering and shouting his name while he walks into the locker room. Attitude and respect.
It' just sad for Kevin Durant, it seems like he still not fully recovered on his injury. Even before that incident, he already felt the pain on his leg.
Also kudos to Serge Ibaka and other Toronto Raptors players for waving the fans that not to cheer for Kevin Durant injury. I feel bad to Kevin Durant, he really eager to play and win the game.
6569  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't share your email and KYC with every bounty and airdrop!!! on: June 11, 2019, 01:37:14 AM
I remember this kind of enormous case bounty/airdrop with required KYC around 2017 bull run which even trash bounty or airdrop required you to pass KYC to get your rewards. Most of the airdrop forms before are using google form with enabled "must sign-in" before filling the form, then it's easy for them to farm different email addresses.

6570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 11, 2019, 01:25:33 AM
Even if Kevin Durant does play tonight for Golden State, he is nowhere near 100% and will be see limited time.
If I was holding a Golden State futures ticket, I would be hedging on tonight's game if you want to keep your money.
It happened! Look how Golden State Warriors play if Kevin Durant is there. What I don't want to see on this Game 5 is Kawhi Leonard, if they can't control Kawhi Leonard, an easy champion for Toronto Raptors.
Since Kevin Durant is in, Toronto Raptors need to improve their defense, especially on the paint and three-points area.

Look at the odds, even Kevin Durant able to play. But the odds, still close with Toronto Raptors. Maybe some people already learned  Grin
6571  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: technical analysis is enough to be successful in trading ???? on: June 11, 2019, 01:19:09 AM
Technical Analysis is useless if you have a negative attitude on trading, improve also your attitude and your decision making in trading. Yes, TA works but its not enough to become a successful trader, there must be a missing recipe if you are not feeling well in trading. Don’t think about how to be good, TA doesn’t make a good trader but if you focus to learn then you can succeed.
Negative attitude on trading? I think that is not about technical analysis nor fundamental analysis. That negative attitude is about ourselves, nothing to do about the technical and fundamental analysis.

I know a lot of people who are successful in trading because of only technical analysis, they only based on the chart. As far as I know, there are some traders in crypto which don't care about the use of crypto they are trading because they trader because on what they see on the chart and they are still making huge money.
6572  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDE] How to Create a Strong/Secure Password on: June 11, 2019, 01:02:45 AM
Having a password generator or a password application is not a safe option for anyone to have.
The good thing on using some password application is the management. Like how you manage your passwords, especially you have multiple accounts on a different website and you are required to log in most of the time. Using password managers helps you to organize your different account  and I find it also safe since some password managers have their 'master key' or password for the password database or before you can open the application, one example is KeePass.

If you have Notepad++ (Most people have that program pre-installed in their computer) you should just mash long keywords on your keyboard so you could copy and paste whatever you wrote on there and use that as your password for your Bitcoin or Altcoin wallet. Save that file then encrypt it.

You should always encrypt all of your password files inside of a .rar file or something similar to it.
This is good way also since it is encrypted, but I find it not convenient, since it's just a normal txt file and once you already decrypred the file and open the txt file, it will show all your all plain passwords w/out masked then it is prone to Shoulder surfing.
6573  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin price & movements [Discussion] on: June 11, 2019, 12:40:15 AM

Ayaw ko tong mangyari pero still possible parin, but the positive to do para sa akin if ever bababa tayo below $6,000, I will buy more syempre  Grin

Mas mabuti yung ganito na mga price actions, kunting sideways at di gaanong pump at dump. In short, healthy retracements, healthy pumps ay nakakabuti para sa Bitcoin  Wink

6574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges for newbies. Does it exist? on: June 10, 2019, 10:10:07 AM
For safely trading it's better that you should join the top 5 exchanges so you can assure that your funds will not be frozen in case you will need it anytime.
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/
You can follow that link and find the best exchange that you like especially those with smooth interface that you can easily trade.
As newbie on trading the first one should be important is the interface of particular exchanges, such as how they work, are x exchange is friendly user? easy to use? But as advice to newbies out there, you should also consider the trading volume, just like what BlackFor3st said.
You can use the given link above to also check which exchange has huge trading volume and that will lead you to choose a good exchange.

Since Binance is much popular now and has also a good volume, I can advice to also use this exchange since they have already mobile application while other exchange don't have. Try to browse this page of Binance Academy which has tutorial about trading and also about how to use the Binance Exchange : Tutorials | Binance Academy

Quote
Have you ever applied this type of psychology?
Yes, especially the first one. That is one of the biggest problems of every gambler, especially those newbies.
Why gamble the money that you can't afford to lose? We all know that gambling has huge risk, accepting it at a loss at the first time could lead you to feel better, but when you are doing the betting, that's the time you will think positive and always think that your bet will win.

Your Feedback on why it should be given Merits:
I want to make feedback as overall since I reported many posts with under merited posts.
These posts totally need more merits for being quality posts. Some there already have merit around 2-5 merits, but I do believe that they are too much quality but merits are not enough for those post, so I expect more merit for them, just ignore if you don't find it qualified.
6578  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [STATS] Pilipinas - Most Merit Receivers and Senders on: June 09, 2019, 05:43:52 AM
If someone wants to link me to a bunch of posts that they think should I have merit in this local board (doesn't have to be in English), I'd be happy to take a look and send some merit.
Do you like us to make a thread here where we will post the unmerited posts for you to review?
That would help a lot especially the low rank to earn merits.
You can just post them here (assuming GreatArkansas doesn't mind). I likely won't be able to review on an ongoing basis though.
Hello DarkStar, I really appreciate your efforts for our Local board. There is already a thread created by cabalism for list of undermerited posts, I think it is much better you have to take a look there or watch the thread for notification.
Cabalism13's Full List of UnderMerited/Unmerited Posts (Pilipinas)

(gotta make it to the top of the Pilipinas senders list  Cheesy)
Just like dbshck, he/she is not from our Local Board manage to get the Rank 1 for most top merit sender for last 120 days (January 24, 2019 - May 24,2019)

Thank you for all this innitiative, this is very helpful for out Local board.
But, we can do this to be more organized, let us use the thread of cabalism: Cabalism13's Full List of UnderMerited/Unmerited Posts (Pilipinas) for reporting the under merited posts.
6579  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to bitcoin in india on: June 08, 2019, 07:41:54 AM
Fake news alert people. As you can observe for the past few days, there are a lot of websites that telling that India has a law about cryptocurrency that any people involved for buying/selling/mining/generating bitcoin will be jailed for 10years.
As far as I know, it is still 'draft bill' about that case.

The Reserve Bank of India is denying any knowledge of a proposed ban on cryptocurrencies — despite reports that a number of governmental agencies have backed the draft legislation — according to a Right to Information request filed on June 4.

Kailan ang next update nito?
It's good statistics though pero binali ko pa yung ulo ko to view the graph.
Thank you for appreciating and so sorry. As soon as possible e-uupdate ko na to, my script for webscrape is almost done (90%). I am tweaking it na lang para mas mapabilis nag pag kuha ng data simula sa umpisa.

Mas better kung itong dashboard, para mas madali makita ang mga leading merit senders and receiver dahil kumpleto na.

Thanks for that, but I decided to create my own data base here (http://loyce.club/Merit/merit.all.txt), nanjan lahat ng merit transaction data. Once natapos ko na ang script at nakuha na ang lahat ng data up-to-date. I uupdate ko na yung data kada friday, base sa data ni theymos (https://bitcointalk.org/merit.txt.xz )

Also, maganda if simula sa umpisa nung implementation ng merit system dito hanggang ngayon, para makita yung mga changes sa bawat profile, especially yung iba dito na nagrank up through merits, makikita nila na posible pala and will serve as motivation to others.
Pag nagbasa ka sa first post lalo na pag hanggang dulo, makikita mo sa huli na nasa 'to do' ko yung kukunin ang lahat2x ng data simula sa pag start ng merit system at dahilan kung bakit last 120days muna ang kinuha ko.
*I will try na kukunin ang lahat ng data simula pa nung pagsimula ng Merit System at e update ito.

And planning to create a self-moderated thread pag naayos ko na lahat2x para maiwasan yung mga signature spammer.  Wink
