662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: June 03, 2020, 01:50:07 PM
I use Google spreadsheets to track my wins or losses on soccer bets..

snip..
So I stopped tracking and just gamble whenever I feel like. No track of wins or losses!
if you are a dice, crash or spin gambler (Pure gambling games rely on luck) it will hurt your heart if you track every losses and wins you get from gambling..  playing without weights is a wonderful feeling, people who play with weights (because the loss is greater than the win based on the monthly track) will only continue to incur losses..

but, if you are a skill-based gambler (poker & sports betting) then your losing and winning tracking are a good habit, why do you have to track every loss or win in that skill-based gamble, so you can know the flow of funds in and out of you and your able to manage your finances well..
663  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s digital yuan could replace bitcoin & end US dollar hegemony on: June 02, 2020, 06:18:50 PM
You are fantasizing mate Cheesy..  how can digital yuan replace Bitcoin and USD while the demand is most likely only Chinese citizens, replacing the USD is impossible, Is president Xin Jinping able to make every oil trade transaction worldwide with Yuan and no longer with the USD??.  if China is able to do that (divert oil transactions around the world with Yuan and no more with USD) then Yuan can replace USD..
664  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Petition for George Floyd's Law on: June 01, 2020, 10:46:33 PM
The riots are not justified. Pardoning or declining to prosecute those rioting would amount to treason as these people are trying to overthrow the government. Those that are rioting don’t care about what happened to that guy, they are using what happened as an opportunity to cause problems.
this is my concern..  a group of people who actually do not care about George's death using the conditions to create riots..  I saw on the news, the shops around the demo location were looted, I asked myself Is that a form of solidarity to George??  I did not justify the actions of any group but the suspect was already punished and that was enough in my opinion..
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you donate in a casino? on: June 01, 2020, 09:01:40 PM
if the casino can show real proof, I have no problem donating in a casino..  the most difficult thing to find right now is honesty, I have seen the bad news about donation houses many times and this makes me a little hesitant to donate to donation organizations.  even today there are also many donation organizations that commit fraud in the name of "assistance for the COVID-19 pandemic".  Donation is not just money, it is also trust..
666  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet.org is a fraudster who cheated me out of 15.2BTC on: June 01, 2020, 08:47:05 PM
So far I had no problems trading with Freewallet  Undecided
Hope, everything would work out all right
Stop it already, you lying and shilling piece of crap.  Do you also happen to be mike_the_notorious in the other scam accusation thread
Nothing new on this forum. Am I the only one who had no problems with the Freewallet services?

Post History archived for future reference: https://archive.vn/RV5lM
IMO, both are the same person (Honnet43 & mike_the_notorious).  I look at the history of both account posts, and the majority of their posts are about the good stuff of Freewallet..
667  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you believe that bitcoin will have a stable price in the future? on: May 31, 2020, 07:27:04 PM
conditions for a currency to be stable, the currency must be controlled, circulation and market demand is set in such a way..  real examples are Pounds, Euros, and USD.  in this modern era, these 3 currencies are the strongest in the world and are very stable compared to other countries' currencies, this happens because the circulation and demand are set in such a way..

my question is whether Bitcoin can be set? demand and circulation can be changed?  the answer is 100% no, so don't ever cross your mind that the price of Bitcoin will be stable in the future, we already have our own stable coins namely USDT and the like..

Gold is very stable. In Roman times you were able to buy a armour with one ounce of gold. In beginning of 20 century you were able to buy a business suit with ounce of gold. Today you can buy a designers clothes with an ounce of gold. It simply cant get more stable then gold.
Going back to a long time ago, I remembered a currency named dinar and dirham (gold/silver)..  the past and present are different, many people say that gold and silver are stable, my question is whether the price of gold 20 years ago now is the same? Can gold demand and circulation be managed? gold and silver are decentralized, both of which can experience price explosions if there are high demand and sales..

transactions that happened in ancient times are a belief system, you believe that a set of armor worth 1 ounce of gold can even make a price at will, while currently there are regulations, you cannot raise prices at will..
668  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is becoming legal in my country! Any business idea? on: May 31, 2020, 06:10:33 PM
take advantage of a business that you have mastered or that makes you comfortable..  You claim your country has legalized the cryptocurrency, which means that the cryptocurrency has been recognized as the legal "PAYMENT TOOL" in your country.  You don't need to try a new business (this is if you already have a business) You only need to accept payments in crypto and it is very simple..

You do not need to build an exchange business that requires large capital!  if you are a vegetable trader or car rental/lodging entrepreneur or supermarket owner, you only need to accept payments in cryptocurrency because crypto is legal in your country..
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 30, 2020, 10:16:07 PM
I (personally) do not gamble because of escape from problems..  I enjoy every game without pressure because those who gamble due to their problems (escape from problems) will only spend their money and not produce anything, their souls and minds are not focused..

snip..
this is true the majority of offline casino gambling players are those who escape from their daily lives (I don't know whether this kind of case happens at online casinos)..  when the expectations about work, household or other are not in line with their expectations, then they will find a place to calm down but they are not aware that it is only temporary..
670  Economy / Economics / Re: Get ready for more tax. Save your BTC! on: May 30, 2020, 05:04:03 PM
snip..
Or could I be wrong? There will be no more taxes next year?
income tax will continue to appear at any time (maybe only a reduction in liability if the outbreak gets worse)..  types of businesses that are not affected can still help the country with their business tax contributions, I have noticed that there are also many businesses that are not affected by this "PANDEMIC" COVID-19 such as Logistics, Groceries, online business and others..

there is one thing that makes me nervous right now, the government in my country is more focused on helping state-owned businesses (not private businesses), if seen from reality, private businesses help the state more than state-owned businesses.  I am afraid that the engine driving the country's economy cannot generate more taxes if the government of my country only focuses on helping state businesses that do not produce big results..

I gave a little percentage from what I noticed..

1) Laborers            :   Reply just for the sake of increasing signature campaign posts. They will jumble words and consciously stretch the
sentences. They do not care about the quality of argument.
50% poster

2) Overcomplicaters :   They will test any argument on Cartesian certainty, no matter how sound your argument may be but they will oppose it
                                   with tooth and nail.
35% posters

Oh don't take it all that personal, mate. They have the right to speak. You have the right to not listen. Wink
I don't think the OP thinks it's personal..  he/she created this topic because was concerned about the reality that was happening..  Wink
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: May 27, 2020, 09:54:15 PM
One thing that cannot be given online casinos, that is interaction and crowd..  I am the type of person who has an easy mood to change, sometimes I hate the crowd but on other days I get bored at home, then go looking for the crowd.  if asked if I choose one (online or offline)??  I choose both, because I used to go to a traditional casino often (but now rarely because I'm married) and have some friends there even though it's safer to still play online casino (because of the pandemic) but just to get entertainment, offline casinos are better..

675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Creator Dead on Covid-19? on: May 25, 2020, 10:47:29 PM
die on Covid-19??  This is a question that no one will ever know and is not important to discuss Cheesy..  I first knew Bitcoin (and maybe all Bitcoiners) never knew who and whether Satoshi really existed.  I am very sure you are trying to make a joke here but not funny at all.  if I knew Satoshi where and if he died because this "pandemic" then I would go mourn him  Tongue
676  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: May 25, 2020, 07:02:29 PM
snip..
The replacement system needed is a change in the function of the bank itself from "margin oriented" which provides interest from loans and deposits to institutions that are "service-oriented". The goal is only one so that money truly revolves in the real sector instead of settling so that the main function of money as an economic lubricant is truly achieved.
agree with this, layman understands "BANK is a place to store money" but in reality, the Bank is functioned as a place to "save and borrow".. The "deposit interest" that is generated is the result of profit-sharing from loans and this really makes the Bank's face look bad.  but if changing the bank system to be "service-oriented" then stakeholders cannot generate greater profits than a system that has been going on for hundreds of years since the Bank was first created..

Banking is good but banks are evil. What's wrong is not banking services but the banking system that causes the illusion of debt and money cannot effectively rotate the economy because it accumulates in deposits.
"The man behind the Gun" (current bank system)

the true moneylender

What these banks could do is to make an adaption to blockchain technology for better financial system, not to make the whole financial system decentralized.
very dangerous to make the financial system decentralized, just look at what happened to the decentralized coins, the manipulators (whales) control them.  Blockchain technology is a driving machine (system) and regulator or supervisor (the goverment) is still needed
677  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: May 24, 2020, 05:41:07 PM
Here are some of the benefits of banking in life;

Quote
  • As an investment model, which means, derivative transactions can be used as an investment model. Although in general it is a type of short-term investment (yield enhancement).
  • As a way of hedging, which means, derivative transactions can function as a way to eliminate risk by hedging, or also known as risk management.
  • Price information, which means, derivative transactions can function as a means of finding or providing information about prices of certain commodity goods in the future (price discovery).
  • Speculative function, which means, derivative transactions can provide opportunities for speculation (luck) on changes in the market value of the derivative transactions themselves.
  • The production management function runs well and efficiently, which means, derivative transactions can provide an overview of the production management of a producer in assessing future market demand and needs.
source: wikipedia/Bank

it's possible (life without a bank) but there must be a better replacement system.  I am sure that in the future Blockchain technology will replace the current banking system but it takes a long time (my prediction in 50 - 100 years)

679  Economy / Economics / Re: WHO encourages use of digital payments due to COVID19 on: May 22, 2020, 06:24:41 PM
Digital payments are indeed mandatory during COVID-19, because if financial transactions still use paper money, the spread of the corona virus
will continue to happen.
the problem is the governments in almost all countries are one step late in applying for massive digital payments..  I understand that to change the habits of people who for decades have been accustomed to using fiat money in transactions is almost impossible, but that does not mean it can not.  if education and direction is carried out by the government continuously for all citizens in each country then I am sure in the next 6 months, digital transactions will increase 70% worldwide..
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online gamblers think about their privacy and anonymity? on: May 22, 2020, 05:54:07 PM
Data privacy is sensitive.. if we go to an offline casino (traditional) Do the players who win are asked for privacy data before withdrawing money??  it's actually not important for gambling site owners to know who are the winners on their site unless they are working with the government in supervising gambling players..

I think most gamblers think and cares about their privacy and anonymity, that is why most gamblers hates submitting and filling up KYC for them protect their own personal information and data. It is the reason why i am so picky in gambling sites, so i could play gambling more safely and secured without any worries about hacking and identity theft.
the sale of privacy data is still intense in the deep web..  just recently I heard about the sale of dozens of user data in one of the hacked online stores..
