Nice. GPU h/s doesn't different from CPU h/s. CryptoNote is the really egalitarian protocol.

dev makes some fair statements and qcn goes up +42.65%
good job.

+161.2% on the PoloniEx right now.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 04, 2014, 05:49:48 PM
ps.
I'm not here to spread fud but the dev here says Monero is instamined and had shifts in the emission. let me tell you, that was absolutly not true! (it was discussed but nothing was changed on this) i started mining Monero 2 hours after release when it was around block height 100, they even delayed the launch untill proper windows binaries where released! Please dev, play it fair and dont spread fud!!

At the same time I paid some attention to the alternative realization of the protocol - it was BitMonero / Monero. But I had doubts: from the very beginning it had some unpleasant and outrageous stories attached - like those ones with the main coin developer, with the shifts in the emission curve, with instamine and with the unavailability of optimized files for all users.

Read carefully. I didn't say that the emission curve was changed, I said that there were problems with the emission curve sometime after launch.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 04, 2014, 05:42:28 PM
I asked earlier what people liked about QCN, and was a bit disappointed with the replies.
But here is one thing I like IIUC.

With QCN privacy is built in with the need for Masternodes (which I think both DRK and XC have).
This seems , to me, to be the biggest plus.

But we need more than just this to really make this a success.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The other thing is that compared to ,say, MRO this coin looks cheap and "fairer".
So we have an opportunity

IT IS cheaper and fairer (at least for the time being) Smiley

QCN is cheaper, a bit more fair to long-term miners, and rarer than all the other coins, but that will only matter should a "whale" or two be looking to make a long-term investment. However, should Poloniex decide to take QCN out of the exchange (which is looking like a possibility at this point), that will be the final nail in the coffin for QCN.

OracionSeis, should you want your coin to stand out from the other Bytecoin clones, then make it truly different (not just an altered emission curve). Feature which could make QCN stand out from the rest? POS.

Make it POS after a specific time? Sounds interesting. OracionSeis, is this possible?

who what when ? what propaganda again, what final nail lol ayy people.. anyways.. good morning, you all, relax and be patient.

btw keep on writing negatives, cause people stopped reacting. so price wont go to 1 satoshi as much as you are trying lol, there was a time when people bought and sold coins based on forum posts not as much anymore...

QuazarCoin are excellent trading on the PoloniEx and I'm developing API.

I don't see PoS as an opportunity. I want to make an alive currency which people will be able to pay and will want to pay for real goods and services rather than deposit account in the bank.

Hey OracionSeis, can you post the source code on github so we can take over this coin and make it work?  Or just PM me and you can dump it all directly to me and I will make something happen with this coin.  Thanks.

https://github.com/quazarcoin/quazarcoin - there is a link in the top post & the site.

I've seen this so many times. Miners keep telling everyone how good the coin is...but they themselves never buy any! The developer goes missing and the coin dies.

The only hope is for the community to take over the coin, but there is no community, only people mining.

Is there anyone here at all who wants this coin to succeed? If so you better do something soon.

Wow, I've already seen a similar proposal when BitMonero -> Monero.

I'm the QuazarCoin dev, I'm working and there are people who helps me with promotion and merchants.

Thank you kindly for your precious and helpful piece of advice.

I disagree with you. They are good developers and constantly doing updates and fixing bugs

What updates or bugs that will do the coin any good???

For example, https://github.com/quazarcoin/quazarcoin/commit/850634b962d93bd911be8c5e55581dd3d3cdf7d3. I'm sure Mac users were pleased.

That's a pity that we don't see qcn on mintpal. It's not the key to success but it would be great

What do you think about Cryptsy?

Im going to pick up some MONERO coins! Those are really awesome! Whos with me???

Yes yes nice awesome instamine and a secret miner (with higher efficiency) only for some and we should be with you - lol!

This is the difference between Monero and QuazarCoin, Quazarcoin started fair, has a really nice emission curve, is rare, started
with optimized miner from the beginning (for all!) and some other points.
And is it obviously why some people here trying to push Monero and spreading FUD, they have enough mined in the first days Wink

QuazarCoin needs more community activity the rest will time tell.

By the way nice trolling Smiley

and
?? is any pool able to merge mine QCN with FantomCoin ??

I think you can clarify information from amphibian who is the FCN dev- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=598823.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 04, 2014, 03:28:01 PM
So i am interested in getting involved in one of these cryptonote coins, can somebody sell me on QCN as opposed to the others?

QuazarCoin requires 60 confirmations per transaction which enhances the protection against double-spending.
Emission curve is more flutter, 50% QCN will be emitted in 6 years.
Also QCN was launched without premine and instamine.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 04, 2014, 03:24:42 PM
Hi,
Is it still CPU only? someone adopted it to videcards and asic?
BR

QuazarCoin is ASIC-resistant and only CPU-mineable.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 03, 2014, 11:40:32 PM
If all of us contributed $500 or more to buying QCN we could pick up a substantial portion of the coin for very very cheap.  Next we need to get the DEV some help with some other DEVs to improve the coin.
Possible task list can be as follows.

-- Create a gui wallet or get it from Boolberry once those devs finish their GUI wallet and modify it for QCN.

There are several proposals for the development of GUI-wallet and I'm at the stage of negotiations now.

-- Make it easier (user friendly) to move coins to and from exchanges.

As I said I'm developing API for this.

-- Create and choose a better logo, similar to what CRY did very fast.  Maybe use their templates.

Here's the voting for new logo - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=628924. Community will vote, and a logo will be selected from the top list.

I'll answer in more detail tomorrow.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 03, 2014, 11:27:31 PM
Does minergate use the latest optimized miner?  Or is it faster to mine it with a pool or solo?  What is considered a good hashrate from 7 cores?

MinerGate usus the last version of optimized binaries far as I know.

What hardware do you use?

QuazarCoin needs in a easy GUI-wallet.

A reward for GUI-wallet is 1000 QCN.

Thanks gpools for the generous donation!
