661  Other / Archival / Re: is EVERY ico a scam?? on: October 17, 2018, 09:31:09 PM
Everybody keeps on saying scam scam scam for all of these ICO's. 90% of them are crap, yes. BUT there is the 10% of them, like vector, who are absolutely not scams. They are good projects that will really help the crypto community grow and its not fair to call an ICO a scam until you have actually researched it and you are sure it is a scam.

Just my two satoshis...
So many people find it hard to do thorough research on ICOs in order to decipher its authenticity. These same set of people are the ones that call all ICOs scam because they do no research on it before they invest.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Strategy on: October 16, 2018, 11:31:50 AM
If cryptocurrency or bitcoin specifically is a bubble, which might explode and vanish any time and since it gas not yet reached its threshold, the best thing to do not is to accumulate more, then wait for it to reach that threshold or close to the threshold before selling.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The energy that drives patience on: October 16, 2018, 10:25:19 AM
Patience is not just the ability to wait, but how we behave while we wait.

Behavior is a very important factor or energy that determines if your patience will be maintained.

The crypto market can sometimes be different from what we thought or expected it would be, there might be delay in getting rewards from bounty participated in, postponement in listing on exchanges alongside other challenges faced and these might bring about some doubt, most especially when it seems the delay keeps lingering.

Therefore, our ability to tolerate difficulties, delays, annoyance without getting upset, will determine if truly we can be patient.

Being able to overcome all these require some energy and the energy is embedded in our ability or the behaviour that guides patience.

You can also visit https://www.techradar.com to get your file recovery software. There are softwares that work perfectly well there.
You can also lookout for the option of enquiring from Microsoft on any recommended file recovery software.
You need not to panic, you can still recover what you feel might have been lost.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: white paper. !! on: October 15, 2018, 09:02:45 PM
The challenge we have most times is not about knowing if a project has white paper, but our disposition towards the whitepaper by reading it, which helps to determine if the project is scam or not.
Whitepaper gives insight into what the project is all about.
Also, whiptepaper helps me to know the aspect towards which i can direct my questions to the team, most especially while on telegram.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will a crypto coin stop existing? on: October 15, 2018, 07:59:23 PM
The total supply of a coin cannot be affected by the demise of a holder and neither can it be affected by a lost wallet. The only effect these can have is on the circulating supply.
The existence of a cryptocurrency is dependent mostly on the team, except the coin which has been abandoned becomes a shit coin whose price has reduced drastically.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of the cryptocurrency 3 years later? on: October 13, 2018, 07:30:28 PM
Three years later, what will be the mainstream cryptocurrency and market conditions?BTCBTCBTC
Before that time, i believe the crypto space would have been purged of scam ICOs. It will be safer to invest in ICO and most of those who would remain in the crypto space, most especially those who would be active will be the strong hands. Before then, some would have lost hope, but cryptocurrency will be stronger
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, I just got scammed on: October 13, 2018, 07:23:59 PM
I wanted to participate in the Iagon pre-sale.  I joined what I thought was the official Iagon telegram.  Turned out it wasn't.  I followed the instructions on the pinned message, which directed me to send ETH to a specified wallet address.  Turned out it was all a scam, and I lost 5 ETH.

Really sucks.  The lesson is be careful out there.
That is quite pathetic, because that is a huge amount you lost. I saw the same telegram link too, but since i joined the real telegram channel, i knew it's a channel for scammers.
I tried checking for the fake telegram channel, but i found out it has been deleted.

For reference and future purpose, this is the real telegram channel:

669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges that list Erc-20 token For Free on: October 13, 2018, 07:09:18 PM
Most exchanges that list free are called (DEXES Singular: DEX) and there are so many of them. I would provide some links to you, so that you don't fall victim of phishing sites.
https://idex.market
https://ddex.io
https://dex.top

You can also search through https://coinmarketcap.com for more of the DEXES and for confirmation of the links.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: October 12, 2018, 10:31:58 PM
Scammers are desperate. They will not want to back off until they achieve their missions.
Most times, those who look for cheap or free things are the ones that fall victim of scam. Which is why i have stopped airdrop, because it is so common with it.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: October 12, 2018, 10:26:36 PM
Information is power and the information you gave will give you the confidence to be patient. Else, we may continue to talk about patience, yet without being able to practice it.
Everyone knows that patience is the key, but is it everyone that is patient?
It is most times easier said than done.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment reality on: October 11, 2018, 08:53:59 PM
One of the truth we should know is that value is more important than talking about price. Which is why some projects, at the initial stage of their projects discourage talks on price, but focus more on the technology, because that is what will give value to the coin.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How Far are we from the bull run on: October 11, 2018, 08:44:55 PM
Just as we are expecting the bull run and there were times it wanted to surface, some were only busy suppressing it. If you looked through twitter today on Vitalik's handle, there were lots of debates and i would say war talks. I feel it was intentionally done to prevent the bull run from coming and to cause another dump, which actually happened.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining Altcoins ? on: October 10, 2018, 05:07:27 PM
Mining requires much of investment, time and less of effort. Although, if you are able to invest so much into mining, it would yield good result in lesser time, compared to investing little into it.
Sometimes, i advise those who are very busy with their works, to consider mining as an option to earn some coins.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you feel about your first payment???? on: October 10, 2018, 05:03:19 PM
It is good not to relent, despite not having achieved your set target. Winners never quit and quitters never win. Continue with that your unrelenting attitude and you will definitely achieve your aim.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This year proved it There is no Crypto Expert! on: October 10, 2018, 05:00:39 PM
That shows you should not rely much on predictions made by crypto experts. Well, they might sometimes be right, but they are not always accurate. You should always leave the likelihood of some errors behind.
Some times, i use their predictions to make my own prediction or evaluation, by some modifications and it helps.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How old are you & how much money are you trying to make? on: October 10, 2018, 04:50:45 PM
Cryptocurrency does not have a fixed ROI. Although, you can have a projection of the percentage you might want to make based on satoshi or gwei value, but not in dollars, because you might have a particular unit of satoshi and yet might nit be equivalent to the dollar value you expected.
Whenever i invest, i just have the believe i might get between 10-50% of my investment.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: between whitepapper and reality on: October 09, 2018, 10:27:20 PM
First, i would say that our destinies are in our hands. The onus is on us to always research every project we intend investing in.
Do not invest because a project is promising your some bonuses o anything attractive.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It can still happen again on: October 09, 2018, 10:12:06 PM
Hopes are really on the rise and many are believing that this year will also have its own upsurge. When it comes to cryptocurrency, anything is possible. So it is possible for the rise to start soon depending on the nature of the market.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why wait until PUMP? on: October 09, 2018, 09:59:59 PM
The crypto market might seem to be fluctuating now and we are like moving up and down. This to me seem more like a preparatory stage for the market to lunch into bull. There are still some coins that are presenting good prices for buy. There are some i am very sure will moon and that was why i bought them.
