I am the same that's interesting. If Ryan stole only BTC then why not give the other forks? I have not given FLC, UTC, Cinni - never been moved to V2, and BTC simply disappeared in a moment of V2 If he had complete control, transferring coins to other exchanges and sold them for btc would have been an option |

i never owned or mined any vertcoins
but can't understand how the price drop from over a dollar to 5 cents...
doesn't give much confident in mining any crypto currency
The big problem of VTC is the inflation, a lot of coins mined and not enough buy support. When it'll get more widely accepted and less dumped, the price will rise. Most coins have this problem. You have 2 options when you look at mining, short term or mid/long term. For the short term, you look for most profitable coin (be ready to switch each day) For the mid/long term, you look for active devs, coins with good features and a strong community. You point your rigs towards the network and hold to the coins you get. Working to increase the value of those coins can help a lot. |

This is why the crypto world is always on the wrong side of the news. When Digibyte had a problem, did you all do this to Digibyte? No, of course not, we all rallied to help in any way possible so, I ask you all this:
What proof is there that the guy who filed the suite actually lost anything? If he did, what proof is there that is was Cryptsy's fault?
Lawyer's like the Silver Law Group are little more than thieves themselves. They will file suite on the weakest of claims in the hope the target offers to settle, guilty or not, to keep themselves out of the news. Its all about bad Press in the end. Just because someone claims a loss does not mean there actually was one or that is wasn't the claiment's own fault in the first place.
And, yes, problems do happen and mistakes are made, big banks and financial institutions do it all the time yet we keep our accounts open mostly because we have little choice and half the time nobody knows about the losses.
We must ALL keep in mind that this is new technology, new territory to explore and nothing, absolutely nothing is really safe in this brave new world. Millions are lost EVERY day to credit card fraud, have you all ditched your credit cards? Did you write to VISA and MasterCard and tell them you were done with them?
How about we withhold judgement until we know if there is anything to judge or not? That way, you may become part of the solution rather than part of the problem...

We have to keep in mind that in crypto, not enough warning are shown or told. The news about Cryptsy is not to call them scammers, etc. but to tell people to be careful with them and any other exchanges, to limit the damage an other mintpal could do. I'll still use cryptsy until the proofs are shown that they really scammed or anything but i just transferred all the coins i had sitting there. So i take the risk with the coins on orders but i won't do it with the coins i don't want to trade right now. |

I would like to mine Einsteinium but the wallet is not letting me sync. I am stuck at 35 weeks behind. I have also tried to delete all the files in the AppData regarding Einsteinium in hopes of the wallet to sync but no luck. I also tried to follow their instructions on the site but I don't know what to type on the conf file. I'd like to join the irc channel as well but it is invite only. How may I get invited?
Can anyone help me out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bought 100 coins at 13k. Should have bought more . I'm sure people will be saying the same at 20k in the not to distant future. We are shifting enough volume to cover newly created coins now so when the new algo comes along and the multipools go away we should see a continuing increase in value I think it's clever to buy some coins now and to switch to mining when Lyra2 is here. Would be nice if it doesn't stress GPUs as much as N-Scrypt  . Does anyone know? Lyra2RE is supposed to be smoother on the GPUs but Lyra2 is supposed to be as intensive on the GPUs as Scrypt-N is. Cooler algos don't use all the capacity of the GPUs, Scrypt-N and Lyra2 does it. |

I find it odd that some made a wallet that has been checked to see if its any kind of malware and its not get trashed for trying to help and support this coin. He used to dev it so its not like some newbi account posted it. It works and looks nice. It was some help to a community that he helped create. Review it and release it as official with a credit to him. It's Easy. Why the dick wagging contest. Surely you largest cock in the room can handle that. After all if you dick is so big and swinging you have nothing to worry about.  Maybe because it's the same wallet he released when he left the coin. It was unfinished and not worth releasing to the community until its finished or improved. There's a lot of talk about a simple wallet release and a notice from the foundation to detach itself from this release. |

I got my 245 XST, but still waiting on my last 0.16btc in mintpal I have no idea whats going on BTC are less likely to be given back right now. Don't believe too much in seeing yours again, sadly  |

I don't really get what you disagree with. Thebway ryan posted the wallet could have easily been mistaken for an official release. It is very unorthodox to release a wallet that way. Without official endorsement, for all you know, the wallet could also have a Trojan.
it could be a trojan even if it was released by the new einsteinium foundation too that is my point.. trust and respect are earnt over time not proclaimed. ahumanbeingx has been around for longer and did hand over control willingly to the new team so to suggest that he is less trustworthy or trying to mislead people into downloading trojans without evidence is just being petty IMO. its the divisive tone of the posts which concern me.. this coin and community is small enough as it is without people going on some kind of power struggle trying to break it up even further by casting aspersions on to people from the previous management team. if someone has done something wrong then fine call it for what it is. if the software doesn't work properly then fine say so.. if it hasn't been tested then fine say that too.. but hitting people over the head for not dotting their I's and crossing their T's when they appear to be trying to help out is a bit excessive is it not? i have heard this several times that ahumanbeingx has been misleading about one thing or another.. is there any evidence for all these claims or are they simply excuses for why things haven't been done? It appears that someone has just released and updated version of some new software.. wouldn't it be more constructive to organise people to evaluate and test it to see if it benefits the community rather than to make it sound like the software should not be trusted? after all the source code was provided so people can see if it has any trojans or back doors built in. the reason I'm asking is because I want to make software for einsteinium too but I don't want to be accused of being misleading just because I didn't seek official approval from the self appointed governing body. We want the best for the community and the coins, the statement was to detach the foundation from the release ahumanbeingx did. As simple as that since he was the lead of the foundation before september, what he says/do in this thread can still be misinterpreted. The wallet is unfinished, that's why i asked ahumanbeingx to release the source code to the community, so one members or more could work to finish it or even improve it. Anything done for einsteinium is welcomed and when we are aware of it, we will give it exposure. If you need help with anything, we will gladly help with anything we can provide. If you want to release a software for einsteinium you are free to do it, we won't stop you. You are a member of this community and anything you do for the good of this community is welcomed. |

Dollar price of ALL crypto-currencies is COMPLETELY irrelevent atm. BUT, if you are really that much bothered about it, the solution is simple...stop DUMPING this excellent coin. You wanna make money now, I get it, but you'll regret it. This coin has the best features I've ever seen, it also has almost no issues and you are selling it for <10c?? And then you complain about the low price??? Look in the mirror...
VTC is massively mined on multipools then dumped on the market. The community can't compete right now with massive dumping by multipools. So it doesn't mean that those complaining about the low price are the one selling. |

Yes we are aware that ahumanbeingx introduced a new wallet and that it appears to represent official capacity. No, it is not authorized, no, it is not officially recognized, and no, we do not know why he would misrepresent the wallet in that way.
For clarification, the Einsteinium.org domain is not owned or controlled by the Einsteinium Foundation it is privately owned. The Einsteinium Foundation has officially treated the domain and site with the utmost respect by recognizing it as Einsteinium's official domain, however it broke common protocol by hosting ahumanbeingx's unauthorized material.
Although ahumanbeingx has the right to submit any wallet he wishes directly to the EMC2 community, it breaks common protocol to do so. Furthermore, to do the release in such a way as to give the appearance of official capacity where there was none is very disturbing.
Should you choose to use the "Einsteinium wallet" put before you by ahumanbeingx it is with the full knowledge that it is unofficial, unauthorized, and delivered with misrepresented capacity.
what is this drivel? nobody needs official sanction from the einsteinium foundation to release their own software for the network. crypto coin networks run solely on the distributed consensus model not by some quasi authoritarian dictatorship. people do use and will continue to use whatever wallet software they want for whatever coin.. and it is the majority dictates which way the network will go. with that in mind.. I really don't see the point of the above post. A month ago we did a review of the wallet ahumanbeingx released as a gift to the community. The review stated that the wallet wasn't finished and couldn't be used as an official wallet backed by the Foundation. What was done is that i asked ahumanbeingx to provide the source code so members could finish and improve the wallet. The statement only tells the community that we are not responsible of this wallet. The Foundation and community shouldn't be represented by an unfinished product. |
