I tested for a bit, but it is hard to tell if it is an improvement. The chains/day and p/s seems about the same as i7 optimizations, but chains/min seems to be a little higher. I am not sure how much difficulty is affecting the results. Thanks again! *Edit: Sent 5 DTC tip. These optimizations are working great. Running i7 version on (6) i7-3770, (1) i5-2500 and Haswell version on (1) i7-4770. I have 6 more i7-3770 I am about to set up now. 7 blocks so far since yesterday Thanks for the good feedback and tip! You could try testnet out I guess with the variants and calculate which one spits out more blocks over x time, as thats what really matters. dif is super low on testnet atm tho so be prepared to watch blocks fly

Is there any optimized linux client?
Next update I'll script something to spit out all the variants

If they lock up just BTC.. just arbitrage another alt back to cryptsy?
|
|
|
Made Some new clients.. with testnet active (now you can compare block generation on testnet!) add: testnet=1 in conf
Will post Bulldozer (testing) and Haswell (need tester) shortly.

Wow
I went from ~ 2k PPS (16 CH/D) to ~6k PPS (45 CH/D) with the i7 optimizations on a 4770. Very nice. Can't wait to try the Haswell build.
Thank you!
np! Everyone should notice chains per day taking a big hit with the harder difficulty we have now. Don't forget to 'getmininginfo' and use CPD for: http://datacoin.info/calc.htm

Could someone explain in layperson terms why it is not possible to figure out a key to solve all future hashes or blocks and create bitcoins at will?
Not sure if I phrased my question correctly but hopefully you know what I mean.
For layperson , average joe, pleeb just use Cause Obama

I believe choosing a suitable logo depends largely on where it will be used. If it is mostly going to be used on a website, then a detailed colourful one would be nice but if it is going to be scaled down to an icon or appear on letterheads/merchandise a simple but prominent shape would be best.
May be OP can clarify one this later...
I do like Zorrosv's idea of using the lower letter "d" Out of the 12 designs, I like #1 and #9
Ya that lower d kind of makes it look like a coffee mug so I'm all for it .. mm coffeee

Buy a lil bit of each one on cryptsy, if one gets big .. you'll be set

prolly too late but looks good

so far with this optimised client no blocks on i5 2500k. mining 15hours already.
EDIT: Mined two block in an hour now at 5400pps. Haha, congrats So many ppl still can mine solo good example of variance

Speed increase is like 3x compared to normal client.
Used on 3 laptops with i5m over like 20hours. 2 without a block and 1 had single block ;-]
Hurray!
Thanks for the feedback difficulty is on the rise ;

I made the other thread for discussion of those clients, but since you posted in both, Make sure to check out http://anty.info/primecoin-calculator/ (a DTC one is coming soon) Unlikely but I did see this once, Try to stop the client, wait a minute then restart, notice if it has any catching up to do, if it does should be fixed.

These clients will be updated/ deleted for new ones once the source is updated for the dnsseed issue

peoples, we cannot ks with the client miner of yvg1900 (@ ypool.net) that support for getwork, so they can solo with a lot CPU power for just one wallet instead of running multiple instance of datacoin-qt or datacoind per machine as we did today.
Ya difficulty increase surprised me or I would of put these up sooner. Will post optimized pool miners when they become available.

in .conf : addnode=x.x.x.x

fast speed, ok, but did someone got block with it?
I could verify if anyone knows how to determine estimated blocks per day based on pps or cpd vrs difficulty?? Anyone know if this is accurate? http://anty.info/primecoin-calculator/Difficulty: 8.98287803

core i3 version, please ok Ill try it now and edit when its up try the i7 version and if it doesn't crash , post your cpu type and results if possible.

Doubled the primespersec on a Xeon 5150 using the 2core Lets see if it now actually mines anything as opposed to the official wallet. If it does you can expect a share I mined just fine with all of them , got lots of blocks on bulldozer last few days (although slowing now) and tested the i7 on cc3 8x large for 5 blocks last night. 21k+ pps and ~145 cpd with i7 client When I took a quick look
