661  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Something dangerous we do when using Binance P2P platform on: October 24, 2023, 08:57:21 AM
Truthfully, if you don't drop your phone number they aren't paying, I know that some are doing this to notify you to release funds after, as some sellers are not serious, they can initial the trade and start doing something else, wasting someone else time, but the truth is this act is out of Binance platform, you break the rules if you decide to do trade with such people, they have your phone number and they can text dangerous link to you pretending to be from Binance.

I strongly believe this is how the victim lost is phone number to strangers, to make some transactions a success, and yet losing your data in the process, I hope this teach people something new today. Roll Eyes
What in the world! I never read the agreement terms, but fortunately never received any phishing link on my number, but thanks for the info as I will try to be more careful next time while making P2p on Binance, I rarely make TXs on Binance but whenever I make, I didn't read the terms.

I also read the topic of _act_ and replied in it, and I did not come to think of this reason, like why those people are getting such phishing messages. I thought, as many other also thought, it might be inside job, but no, this is really happening outside of the Binance and they have nothing to do with such scams. All is happening, due to the mistakes of the users themselves.

Well, awareness of this information is compulsory because, when more people will be aware of it, then people will definitely try to avoid such sellers or buyers, and S&B have to change this term.
Yeah it's possible not to receive any link as SMS on your phone number and that's because not all of them are bad people, some get your number so that they can reach you when the money they sent you haven't be verified by bank yet or maybe network delays at times, but there are scammers among them too and if you are already used to dropping your number you won't mind dropping it for the scammer, since you won't know they are scammers.

Some people don't actually care about asking for phone number, they still proceed with the transaction and they are legit, also snappier when making the transaction so it's a matter of choice, also Binance have the Express p2p trading where the exchange rate is same with other and there is no need for someone asking you for your number or anything else, it's straight forward.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you prepare for a Bitcoin bull run? on: October 23, 2023, 10:18:38 AM
I think the hype from the media is working on people starting from this month, everyone is now minding for the Bitcoin halving as the start of the next bull run, you want to hear the truth? You will be disappointed, because after the halving the price will lose the hype like always and everyone will feel like WTH?

Halving isn't the start of the bull run, not until some few months later into 2025 but yes it's safe to say that the bull market starts in the same year as the halving but not like all people are expecting.

I am used to accessing my wallet everyday, as I can't do without moving some funds here and there but I don't keep large amount of assets in the wallet, most of them are moved to my offline wallet and yes I have my keys secured, thanks for reminding us, I am fully prepared for 2024 and beyond.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 23, 2023, 09:15:43 AM
I have parents that don't believe in gambling and they strongly advice against it almost all the time, they tell stories about those who are exposed to gambling at a young age and unable to grow because of the addiction they have for gambling.

This was a very long time ago and now I don't live with my parents anymore, but I don't think that any parent will feel good about their kids getting into gambling, I can only take my eye off a child who is into gambling if they are smart, I know they will be fine, no one knows their child better than parents.

If I am still living under my parents roof I won't let them know that I am into gambling because they will be in worries for me, it's healthier for them not to know, if I believe that I can explain my responsible gambling tactics to them, what if they don't still get it or believe it? Older people needs less worries at their age so it's better not to get them involve.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 23, 2023, 08:26:46 AM
In my country, most gamblers are those who have no jobs, most people who have jobs don't even want to get involved in gambling, its a shame that many don't understand that having a job is the best approach to gambling, those who don't have a job are the ones who are supposed to stay away from gambling.

People are doing it all wrong, with a job you can survive with loses that happens in gambling, and without a job, every losses matters so much to you, it hurt and painful when you lose money without having another source of income, this is the type of loses you don't want to let go, it will always be part of you, gambling is easy when you are making money.

1. Avoid debt when gambling, do not look into loans for gambling purposes, because loans are for the rich who have collateral when the unexpected happens, there is no reason to freak out in their world, unlike the poor.

2. Always gamble if you are ready to lose the money, and the lower the amount you are risking the better your feelings will be, if you lose it feels like you lose nothing.

3. Home responsibility comes first, take care of your family if you are married and let your attention to gambling be on the lowest levels, gamble only when you can afford to.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cross addictions is Just as Bad. on: October 23, 2023, 06:44:03 AM
You are the one that doesn't understand that friend OP, he is literally trying to beat gambling addiction and the only way to go about it is finding something he was once used to, I don't believe that someone who doesn't like gaming will go out and buy a PlayStation to keep himself busy, he was a gamer already and he used the console to fight his addiction, this is how I view all this issue.

I think he is smart, and I will never see gaming as an addiction, not until he decide to only do gaming around the clock all day long, no job or business to run, because I believe that too much of anything is bad and could turn into a form of addiction.

I also believe that he is spending way more on gambling than the subscription of $20 on his new shinny console, he is enjoying himself so let him, and if you think that gaming will destroy him just like gambling then you don't know the difference, the urge to play video games is different from the urge to make a fortune with gambling, one is less addictive than the other.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your doubt has no effect on gambling. on: October 22, 2023, 11:11:35 AM

Yesterday, I booked a bet, but, fine if difficult to stake, because I thought the game was going to be lost. But here it is I won the best. I stake the bet at $0.13, and I won $49 in total. I have gotten several winnings in the past week, but I would like to say that I didn't expect the game to play accordingly the way I predicted it. Why? Because I haven't bet on the same predictions throughout all the games before, but yesterday I did it. That's why I said I didn't expect to win the game.

A friend of mine always says, game way go cut, go cut and game way go enter, go enter, and yes that's true, this game was supposed to, play accordingly, and it finally did, even with my doubts.

However, I will say that even your doubt can not make a game that you are supposed to win lose, because gambling doesn't work with mindset, it works with the risk and not your fear. Why the risk is because if you don't risk your money in gamble, you will not lose or even win.
Having doubts is good and also bad, there is always something called wrong place at the wrong time, just because you doubt and still win doesn't make doubting useless, sometimes it could safe you from losses too, if I were you I won't think about it twice because doubts in games of luck isn't helpful in anyway.

It's better to learn how to train the mind, you are lucky its gambling, if it's something else, having doubts will be your weak point, and when you have doubts you have automatically fail before even trying.

I am wondering why you even have doubt when you used that small amount for gambling, are you not ready to lose that money? Because I imagine if I were you, with 0.13$? To hell with doubts, I feel it's possible to doubt only if you are using big money?
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More secure ways of storing bitcoin? on: October 22, 2023, 10:24:14 AM
This is where multi-signature wallets comes to the rescue, I believe companies and start up projects are using such wallets to store their funds, this will erase the mess of one CTO or COO running away with the companies fund as it requires all three masters to be present with their private keys.

I read somewhere that such wallets have slower transaction speed, is this because of the multi signature security or what? I have been willing to ask this question for sometime now, or it's because this wallet requires three different private keys at the same time?

Also I don't see much crypto wallets with this same feature today, I can only find multi signature wallet for Bitcoin, but since I am onto more than just Bitcoin I don't see the need, if any company wants to use multi signature I believe it is going to be for Bitcoin only.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: October 22, 2023, 08:53:09 AM
You already know the answer because in every countries gambling have ruined some peoples lives, so it's normal for your wife to be scared of losing all to gambling, remember, you are both in this together, so maybe you are over doing it? And they noticed?

My advice is to listen to your partner if they warn you about gambling or if they are trying to make you stop gambling, it's possible that they noticed you are too into gambling.

I used to tell people that some things are better done before getting married, setting your goals up and taking risks are way easier when you are living alone, I wouldn't have get married if I am not capable, there is time for everything and if you know where you are going things will always work in your favour, it starts with you.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your nice hit to leave the casino. on: October 22, 2023, 08:32:47 AM
I don't know about others strategy and I don't use casinos to gamble in my country, I prefer using online casinos to gamble and every wins count for me, once I hit a lucky win I am always ready to take my leave, see, we are all different and base on our luck, what works for me might not work for you.

I remember winning some good amount of money but I still chose to keep gambling then I lose everything again, if after you win you still feel like gambling that's your greed talking to you.

We leave to gamble some other day, there is nothing that works for you at that moment than your luck, not some charm or something, if you proceed to gamble again you are simply abusing your luck and it's going to betray you.

Always take your profit and quit for the day, until you are ready to try your luck some other day, do not be so greedy.
670  Other / Off-topic / Re: Skill Before Or After University Education? on: October 20, 2023, 07:04:27 AM
You can't fly a plan with just the manual book, it's possible that you will crash the plane, there is a big difference in learning how to do something or reading about it and putting it into action, if all you have in your head is theory you know nothing, until you practice is for real that's where and when you are to be qualified.

In crypto space, while finding good projects to bet my hard earned money on I always make sure that the teams have past experience before, they must have work with some other projects or companies before, this will increase their chances of success with their present project or company, those who watch the shark tanks knows why it's important.

In other for big men to support your journey by funding you, that's why they first ask what your past experience is like, they are more interested in this side of you than any other, past experience is the big deal.
671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some gambling questions. on: October 19, 2023, 12:20:07 PM
Some gambling questions I want to ask please answer.

How many percent of signature earnings you gamble away?
My salaries 5%.

Do you prefer Fiat or crypto at a display currency?
I use fiat.

What is your favorite game you play all the time?
Mine Mines.

What is your favorite casino platform?
My BC game

Are you a responsible gambler?
yes.

1. Well it depends on how much I make that week from my business, I do my normally use my signature money to gamble but to reinvest, if I made less money from my side business then that's when I take some potion of my signature fund to gamble and that's around 1%.

2.The majority of people would definitely prefer Fiat as the display currency, I enjoy using stable coin to gamble for this reason to so that I can have the clearer details on how much I am losing and how much I win, although it doesn't matter to everyone, we all have our differences.

3. I enjoy playing spin games e.g Slots and I also do sports bets at times but I have spent more times on Slots than any other games on online casinos.

4. My favourite casino as of now is RollBit and Stake.

5. I am a responsible person, and I don't think I am qualified to be called a gambler, reason why is I don't gamble every time, we are in a bear market now and most of my entire profits from my business and others go into Bitcoin investment, I am not that a big fan of gambling, I only do this if I have the spare money.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? Selling all or not on: October 19, 2023, 11:40:10 AM
If you hold your Bitcoin in a bull market just know that you will ride the train down into another bear market, Bitcoin is good for a long term holding but you could double your number easily if you take profit in the bull market and buy back in the bear market.

I don't encourage quick profit taking because you can miss out on better ROI as time goes on in a bull market, its better to take profit in a gradual manner, if Bitcoin reach $80,000 you should take some profits and wait for 90 or even 100k, it is possible to reach this target when measured with the last ATH of 2021.

If you take profits all in one swipe, what happens if Bitcoin make a new all time high at maybe 150k? Ain't gonna be fun for you anymore, it's also the same way to invest, gradually DCA into the assets as you don't know what the real Bottom will look like, if you invest everything you have at once and the asset makes a new lows you won't be able to take that the advantage of the new price, because you don't have any dollars left.
673  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: some of the best ways to secure yourself from scammers on: October 19, 2023, 10:10:19 AM
I believe that majority of people in crypto knows how to handle their private keys and recovery seeds, but there are other things they do that makes them lose their assets, even a beginner will instantly understand a crypto wallet because when they download a crypto wallet, the tutorial and warnings will make them understand the dos and don't of crypto wallets but here are some advice that are important.

1. Know the company you keep, some people knows how to perfectly hide their recovery seed or private keys but they still lose their keys because they are in the midst of bad people, if you can't trust people around you, don't let them know that you are into crypto, they will start looking for something that's not lost.

2. Why not just invest on a good hard ware wallet? The best thing about this what is that the scammer or the betrayer around you will need that wallet to carry out any transaction, this is what makes hardware wallet the best way for storing crypto assets.

3. Be cautious, everyone knows how to keep their keys but the interaction of platforms online makes them lose their assets, they can't take their eye off free NFTs and coins, if you want to safely keep your crypto assets take your damn eyes off free cryptos.
674  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One of ways to identify scams on: October 19, 2023, 09:02:35 AM
You could smell this as a scam from a long distance, this website belongs to a scam beginner who have too less experience, but that doesn't mean that no one will fall victim as we also have new investors who knows nothing about crypto wallet before.

I believe that someone who don't know how crypto wallet works is the type of person that can fall into this stupid looking scam trick, that person must not know the difference between a recovery seed and a wallet address, if not, why would anyone type their recovery seed into this space when that's not how you will pay up?

Stupidity indeed, I have use crypto to pay for some things online and I am the one who ask for their wallet addresses so that I can make the transfer, not the other way around, I am to make the payment as the buyer not you asking me to drop my private key or recovery seed.

675  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: October 19, 2023, 08:14:41 AM
It makes no sense to run away from KYC verification anymore, regulation is another reason why, in the near future almost everything with crypto in it will have to ask customers for KYC, this is the only slide where the government can actually be in control, I don't know what the fate of DeFi will be but I am sure about others, this includes casinos and all crypto hamming projects.

It is the governments job to make sure that people or bad people are not moving money off their radar, we don't want them to track us, we want our privacy, which is well understood but what if we are criminal? We will use that privacy space for our own benefits, that's why a regulated casino is the only one that will have a free business running space, no KYC no gambling, it will get to this point.

It's just better to get used to this right now, I doubt and still doubts that decentralized gambling platform is never going to run, even if the team behind the platform are anonymous they can be dealt with if the government want, if they can make Mixers space uneasy to run they can do the same with Gambling Fi.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I just created Bitcoin multi signature wallet for the first time. on: October 18, 2023, 11:09:49 AM
I know multi signature wallet is very good since it requires at least two private keys to sign a transaction but I have some questions, maybe you can help me out? Will appreciate especially if you have used a multi signature wallet before.

I am using this Bitcoin wallet and it has multi signature capability, I thought to my self, why not create one and get experience how this thing actually works? Because all this years I have not put it to practical, so I created one today, I was give three separate keys, my questions are as follow.

1. Does having a multi signature wallet opened just for you only add some more security level to your crypto wallet or it doesn't count? Like keeping all these keys to yourself and storing them offline separately.

2. If I am running a company and we need to use multi signature wallet to store company fund, since creating the wallet in the present of all three of us makes all these keys visible, doesn't that mean I have access to all the three keys? Or I should have take the first key only and pass the phone to the second person to create the next key? And also the third person?

3. If the second question with the answer is valid, what happens if two persons died and you are the only person with just one single key?

Do you think it's not safe to be in multi signature? What's your thought.
677  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most liquid companies in the gambling industry on: October 18, 2023, 10:01:25 AM
Damn, this is a lot of work, writing all these up isn't easy and unfortunately it's not going to be useful for anyone on here because all these casinos are offline based, I can't leave my country down to another to gamble, they are all good casinos but those who are living close to the casinos or at least in the same country will be easier to pay a visit.

The term king of liquidity sounds like the success behind these casinos, well I think you are right, because every casinos have their weakness and problems, in my country even location based casinos don't pay winners, if the money is very big they always find it hard to pay, the thing is majority of casinos have problems too we just don't see it cos we really can't.

The best successful casinos are online casinos, this is what I believe, because it's been proven in those covid lock down days, many people start trying out online gambling platforms, loads of money are moving into online casinos and location based casinos where shut down, the casino that I really respect the most is stake.com, I believe that this is one of the most successful of them all.
678  Other / Off-topic / Re: 10 platforms where you can earn money performing tasks on: October 18, 2023, 09:00:08 AM
If any website is going to pay users $1 for clicking and viewing an ads then it's not going to be available for all countries, this is the issue I have with those paid to click websites, almost all of them hates other countries and are more friendly to United States and the United Kingdom but U.S always get the highest payment per clicks, are people still in this class of making money?

The last time I did this was years ago before I started investing in Bitcoin, back them I was finding means to make money online and I joined popular freelancing platforms and I even spent my money on some courses to gain knowledge, all was in vain as many are been lies to, it's not that easy to make money from freelancing and those who do have their cruel ways.

The best way to make money online now is crypto and I don't think this will fade away for the time being,  unless the government find a way to milk out all liquidity to themselves while leaving other projects to bleed out and never survive again, even faucets was better than paid per click jobs and majority of others years ago.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about trading feature? on: October 18, 2023, 08:01:53 AM
It's good to see casinos improving their features and yes I was aware of this new trading feature but to me it's still very much a gamble than trading, I don't see spot trading on these casinos which is the safest trading for beginners, you might not make much but you aren't exposed to higher risk compare to binary option and crazy leverages.

It would be closer to trading if we can use some RSI software on the platform like trading view enabler or somewhere close, also I don't know where they are getting their present price from we have no clue about it, so it's still better to gamble safely here, if you are good at trading you can try it out and drop your feedback.

I will still prefer to play Slots on these casinos and if I want to trade I will use other platforms instead, predictions base on price movement are always uncertain and traders are able to make predictions with tools that's why they have the good results more than the bad results.
680  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people ever get tired of trading bitcoin? on: October 17, 2023, 04:24:19 PM
Ok, I expect those who lose money when trading to find it tiring and they can easily quit, if you are a professional trader and you are making a lot of money will you quit? I have friend who are into forex trading and when I introduced them to crypto trading they later told me why they quit forex trading for crypto trading, they are getting better positive results from crypto trading than forex, so OP it's about the result you are getting as Bitcoin trader.

The truth is some will win and lose will lose, but if you don't quit you will get your own ways around trading, Bitcoin is always here to stay and the value will always be better in future, if you can get serious with trading you will later get along very well.

I had no time for trading when I get to know bitcoin, my mind was focused on acquiring some Bitcoin but later after investing so much on Bitcoin I started learning about Trading, I am not a pro yet but I at least have better result than when I am gambling on any casino, now Trading is my second best source of income.
