People like btc because they understand btc and believe it will lead to better future. On the other hand, the people who don't know btc have no reason to hate it. Finally all the people love it!

Hundreds of thousands of Dollars for most, millions for some except a handful that is sitting on 10m$ or more; it is something but we are not there yet; when the price will be a few thousands Dollars in 2015 it will be great, the sentiment will be very positive again and we will get massive exposure

Yeah but that includes "fake" girl profiles, in reality there may be less of us. Fake profiles like yours?  I suspect the overwhelming majority who state they're female in their profile actually arent. Doesn't matter anyway but it always seems to me the ones that go on about it are doing so for an agenda. Lol no, I'm a real girl but I agree there may be plenty of fake ones, especially after reading a bunch of horror stories about fake girls scamming guys on here and so on. There was one poster that I respected and assumed was male. One day, they posted links to feminist blog posts that they had obviously book-marked (They were not recent). I am not saying men can't read feminist blogs (I do myself on occasion); but from that point on, I "read" them as female.

Wow, I was just going through some of the first posts in this thread. I wish I would have known about Bitcoin back in 2011. I've been a big fan of Bitcoin ever since I first found out about it. I would have been accumulating them left and right if they were that cheap!
Today's price might appear to be a steal in a few years time. The potential is tens of thousands of Dollars a coin in a few years if things go right; even if the probability that things go right happens is less than 1% it may profitable to invest in Bitcoin It makes me think of venture capitalists which bet on tens or even hundreds of start-ups that each have less than 5% chance of making it but when they do they can cash in big At least venture capitalists invest in multiple start ups and don't face ruin when a particular company closes. I have seen people go all-in on bitcoin here. They could be very rich soon, or face bankruptcy.  Yep, very sad situation. |

Thx for the link but I don't understand Miss Bitcoin's concept or vision, what are they trying to do? Promote BTC to girls? Seems to me like they are a bunch of girls starting an organization where they'll charge female members to be part of their club, where they will explain via "girly language" and pink graphics what btc is and how to use it. If that's the case I find that almost insulting. Honestly I'm not a "clever" girl and I've been using btc for months. So patronizing. |
