661  Economy / Speculation / Re: FUDs be damned - BTC moving up again on: March 02, 2021, 11:15:36 PM
I guess the sky isn't falling after all.  LOL< I'm a pilot and said FOD at first. Corrected.

No it won't fall for us, but when the sky will shower us with blessing that's an awesome scenario that we're looking forward to have. Ignore FUD and negative statements, they're just going to fade just like colors and bitcoin will continue to grow and influence the whole world because of its promising value today. Let's welcome another waves to come and embrace every opportunity that we could get.
662  Local / Pamilihan / Re: buying usdt using paypal on: March 02, 2021, 09:52:33 PM
baka po may nagbebenta dito na accepting paypal funds?

to either abra wallet or binance wallet po

try ko po 430 pesos worth to begin with.

I'm willing to do payment first basta ok trust score nyo.

Salamat po. DM na lang po dito or you can reach me thru may TG account: mile616

663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The good side of banning btc in Nigeria on: March 02, 2021, 08:46:35 PM
Rather than a ban, regulation is always the good choice. As of now Nigeria holds large volume of bitcoin transactions on different services. Nigeria is much affected by the socio-economic pollitical corruption and terrorism. Just now got a news of 317 girls from a school has been kidnapped on gun point by terrorist. Week ago similar incident have taken place with teachers and no information till date. Right now it is more to think of the social problems than the economic development.
I Agree with this. There should be regulation rather than banning btc just like you've said that Nigeria holds large volume of bitcoin transactions on different services. Bitcoin may help on some various situations that can improve a certain industry by it's fundamentals.
Regulations on specific matter would actually force other bitcoin holders to dump their assets due to strict rules, so basically this also affect their way of spending. People knew cryptocurrency because of freedom to use it, but suddenly it prevents them with certain limits. However, if this situation would be optimized with a certain precautions I think discipline always follow and possible fraudulent activities will be eliminated.
664  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance Buy Crypto - Cash on: March 01, 2021, 10:55:59 PM
Nag try kasi ako kasi nakita ko mas makatarungan ung rate from Peso to BTC, atska less hassle, ang kaso hindi pala real time and transakyon, kumbaga eh may process pa.
Gaano ba katagal antayin yung process?

665  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Buying Eth straight to myetherwallet on: February 28, 2021, 11:55:21 PM
I dont know how po at sa kadahilanang hindi po ako makabili sa Coins.ph due to system error according to them. I need $10 worth of eth po and I'll pay you +$5 convenience fee through Gcash.

666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do? | Is this the end of inflated markets? on: February 28, 2021, 11:35:44 PM
Not here to spread rumors or post FUD. That's not my intention, I only want to vent and discuss the current situation.
I've bought Ethereum before it crashed so bad, now I've lost a reasonable amount of money, and by looking at the graphs, most coins have shown no resistance to ease the fall.

I'm starting to think that the market's prices were way too inflated, not realistic, and a situation like this one was bound to happen one day. What would you do? Sell now, before it dumps even further, or keep holding hoping it will recover in the future?

I'd recommend selling only 30% of our asset if we're holding huge quantity of bitcoin, because it's not a wise decision when we dump entirely. The situation was too unpredictable, and we can't afford to lose our trades by the time bitcoin price will burst again. I'm sure that's really stressful to think of if we lost another opportunity again. Controlling our emotions is the only strategy to deal with pressures, and I think patience could be hard but you should learn to have it.
667  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc dump today and yesterday on: February 28, 2021, 10:47:47 PM

what  is behind the dump which is in progress last couple days ?
I know its volatility , but comparing to last couple months its quite bigger
Cheers

This current situation that we were facing, has come to a point of breaking resistance which eventually going to pull down market price. Corrections always tend to crash the value with huge percentage from previous pumps, and that's already a history of bitcoin. Since the involvement of every individual's emotion would affect, particular with different speculations that could be heard on different forums and social media posts.
668  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin correction thread. on: February 27, 2021, 10:15:13 PM

669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I convince people that Bitcoin isn't a financial pyramid? on: February 27, 2021, 09:06:02 PM
We don't need to convince people about it, because if this was financial pyramiding $50k btc price won't happen. The pyramiding scam only works with the top, and don't run through blockchain because the system was managed only by one person who manipulated the returns of investment. You only earn profit form person who joined the investment. There's no actual business that is presently running, unlike with bitcoin several institutions were now adopting to its platform and been used on businesses particular with online payment and other financial purposes.
https://cointelegraph.com/magazine/2021/01/29/crypto-in-the-philippines-necessity-is-the-mother-of-adoption

Medyo napaisip ako sa unang part nito saying that Philippines is one of the most active countries in Asia. Hindi sa nagda-doubt ako about it but because I am not feeling that activeness in our country.

Nagcacashout ako in some of these outlets or remittance centers pero wala silang idea about it. They knew coins.ph but they are not familiar with cryptocurrencies.

O ang mga tao ay naghahanap lang ng efficient or safe ways, considering that we are still have the pandemic, to transact their money using these mobile apps or exchanges?

671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Lifeboat on: February 26, 2021, 09:31:02 PM
The world is changing and this is inevitable. We go through different economic stages, and cryptocurrencies are the inevitable new beginning of currencies and a new economic system.

Yes, this is really amazing changes that we never expected to create another perspectives in life. Though it challenges our well being, but provides a lesson to everyone who fails to own cryptocurrency because of fomo, as well as negative thoughts that came from someone elses speculation.
Bitcoin's lifeboat is somehow surprising, unpredictable, challenging and infinite because tommorow always counts on.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Trust In-House Casino Competition? (Wager/Multiplier/Raffle) on: February 26, 2021, 08:56:19 PM
Well if an user is at leaderboard top positions there must be someway to proove that, maybe through his account's statistics?
I think a casino can't fake this kind of competition for too long, because the real big players will start doubting, questioning and complaining about the results, what will lead a wave of suspiciousness among other gamblers, prejudicing future competitions and the casino itself. So there is no point for a casino who wants to be reputable and to operate for a long time to practice such actions.

Probably, this scenario about faking would only exist for non reputable casino who's going to scam every gamblers who fall into their promotional traps. If you're smart enough to determine their modus, then don't trust on their mode of set play and it's in the first place they'll be suspicious once complains started to burst out from random players who experience some disappointing experience.
673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Elon Musk's twit caused the Bitcoin bubble burst? on: February 26, 2021, 01:59:42 PM
Has Elon Musk's tweet caused the bitcoin bubble to burst? Will it be the beginning of the bitcoin crash?

I think so this will start to crash, news and other speculations also started to burst right now. But if you wanted to ride on this trend, don't hesitate to sell in order to be at safer side. Most panicked holders now are shaking off their feet and really worried specially if they're holding huge quantity of assets.
674  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN CORRECTION: PERFECT BUY TIME on: February 25, 2021, 11:37:54 PM
Its always the right time to buy.  If you think bitcoin will be higher than it is on a given day at some point in time in which you are willing to wait for than cost average on the way down or on the way up, either way no sense trying to time crytpo markets.  Its a losing strategy trying to bounce completely in or out of the market.  Buy all the dips Smiley

We will have to wait for bearish market and see the dips of bitcoin price which is closer to $30k or lesser. It's not that easy for now because we're still at the top and when someone or more people dump, there's still individuals who wanted to find a good opportunity to buy on that level. So we're not sure yet to see faster dips to be initiated this time, it could take more months to go.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone over here accepting Crypto as payment ?... on: February 25, 2021, 09:20:27 AM
Hello,

Just wondering if anyone sells stuff online or offers services and accepts BTC or Altcoins as payment...

What steps you take after receiving your crypto ? u leave em there ? u cash out ASAP ? anyone converting to stable coins anymore (and which is the best) ?....

i tried converting my BTC to USDT BAD IDEA !! huge fees including conversion fees, gas fees, gas fees again to send to exchange...

How do you guys go about this whole thing ...?

If that's erc20 token payment, of course the person who wants to do a payment would shoulder the gas fees. Conversion fee is really high if you directly exchange on exchange like shapeshift, but with binance deposit of btc you can sell to usdt coin of its actual value.
Holding eth is also a secure idea, because if you're just wasting it on unknown tokens I don't think that's a smart idea. As price went so high gas fee would always matter, so always save your eth for future purpose
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: February 25, 2021, 02:59:41 AM
Without proper understanding about an specific matter shouldn't be put into conclusions. This is what happens to a person who gives us negative speculations against bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. They thought of a situation that wouldn't ever existed, so it made them hesitant on investing towards the platform. ICO and other cryptocurrency projects who promotes scam projects, put a bad reputations against bitcoin and we can't blame them if they give generalized judgement about that scenario.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is the right time to gamble on football. on: February 24, 2021, 11:51:13 PM
~snip~

1. Gambling with quality mind
2. Not gambling to look for means of earning
3. Not using high amount to gamble, but small amount that can be lost and never thing about
4. The more you gamble, poor mind develop and resulting to loss
5. If you have won, leave. If you don't, you can lose all you won
6. Look for work rather than depending on gambling but to be taken as fun not a necessity.
7. Gamble for fun, not as profession
8. Do not concentrate on gambling

Should gambling be taken as fun or as a profession? I chose fun because gambling is not predictable.

No it won't be a profession, and certainly choosing that for fun is good because you only appreciated gambling during lucky wins happened. Though we're enjoying and having fun but don't take that as serious matter for an income generating activity. Eventually, if you got more wins you won't stop but rather bet for more.
Right time to gamble with football could be done right away when there's money for capital, but if you don't have then don't be frustrated, instead find another interesting things.
679  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Nakakabaliw na Fee ng coins.ph on: February 24, 2021, 11:03:44 PM
~snip~

680  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction is coming on: February 24, 2021, 09:54:19 PM
Sell your coins while you can, price is almost certain to correct downwards by at least 50% over next few months.
Not just coming, but it's already happening and that started over this week and it's ongoing. Don't sell your coins yet as long as you don't see it totally crashing, because if you're a member of a community which your crypto belongs; you could be updated with their progress. At least you won't be panic, and hear potential signals that encourages holders not to dump due to another bounce could probably spike.
