661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: July 28, 2019, 11:04:37 PM
No funds no project idea makes me sick and tired of ICO ,I never like the idea right from the beginning ,why? Well to me if you are the owner of your business or company and you have struggled a lot to build it you won't dare want to let go or see it crumbled and fail, this is not present in ICO cases ,ICO is just like "oh if not much funds then I will back off and reopen another project maybe we can reach the hard cap" ,well if every developers are the ones funding there projects they will be more serious to make it a successful one,the easy safe path of backing out if hardcap is never achieved makes it feel easy for every one especially the scammers, I'm not been heartless ,if you don't have money to fund your project just don't bother ,many coins out there have no ICO ,no premine ,no bullshit with fine price per coin ,they never want any funds ,coins like masari ,Loki, haven project, dero rely on nobody fund yet they perform better than hundreds of ICO.
That's right. Most ICO projects will stop when the funds needed do not reach the softcap, maybe the project does require substantial funds to be able to run and be successful. But, back again to the team behind the project and the products they brought whether it would be useful later so that it could attract investors to invest in the project.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of tokens that did not update their Bitcointalk thread on: July 28, 2019, 04:30:23 PM
I've participated in so many bounty campaigns and invested on some tokens coming from ICO, but I notice that so many of these projects are not or stopped updating their Bitcointalk announcement thread but they are so active in their telegram channel.

Do you think this is good for a project in general, let's admit it, Bitcointalk topics always shows up in search engine like Google while on telegram you have to scroll a lot or wait for an answer and they are missing up some potential investors who first look on Bitcointalk for project that they want to invest in..
Indeed, some projects do not renew their ANN Thread but are active in telegram, I don't think that is a problem if the ICO project is still running and growing. And for me personally while the project is still running and very active on telegram it is a good project, but if the project is also active in updating their ANN Thread it will be much better.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some Big Bounty Hunters Are Greedy on: July 27, 2019, 11:29:18 PM
Grin the fact about bounty hunters is those who make big money from bounty hunting never said they do. I don't think they come on here and open up to everyone that they made some large amount of money from this bounty or that bounty.

I know a friend who is a full member on this forum, all he always say is 'bounties don't pay and rewards are too low' but I find out its all a lie ,I don't know'maybe he didn't want people to keep joining bounties or he want me to walk away thinking that no space for me in crypto? Or just another form of greediness? This guy wallet address is full of tokens that are still trading till date and guess what he has thousands to millions of them e.g destream Worth's of thousands $$$$

When did crypto space turned to the rich men's mind ,like 'don't tell them how to make money' Grin Grin Grin
The trick I learnt from him is he never rely on a single bounty project,he did several projects ,tons of them and for once he never did talked like he favoured for once promoting bounty projects.

Do not be deceived, there is money to be make from promoting bounties ,those who make huge money never utter a statement about it, don't go away because people tell you they aren't paying ,don't rely on a single project ,promote as many as possible as far as the project is legit by doing your own research. Triple the campaigns you join to upgrade your payouts.

To all bounty hunters who are like my friend ,there is nothing wrong if you teach a man how to catch a fish instead of giving him a fish ,this is crypto space and its WIN WIN for everyone ,your rewards is yours and same to others too. Help Jr members ,whatsoever you achieved won't be buried with you.
It is true that many people complain that this project does not distribute its tokens, this project is a scam and others. Maybe your friend has experienced this too and he has had lots of tokens in his wallet because of the hard work he has done to get good results. So, we have to be more careful in choosing ICO projects and do not easily give up when what we do fails or is not in line with expectations.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: July 27, 2019, 08:45:07 PM
I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.
Yes right, a failed ICO Project is not a scam. I agree with you that not as much as 99% of ICO is a scam, because some ICOs fail and some are successful. And for us, we have to be more careful or more careful and analyze an ICO project to estimate whether the ICO project can work and attract many investors to succeed.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trade makes me poor on: July 26, 2019, 08:10:20 PM
Are you frustrated when you experience defeat in trading? yes I experienced this ... I have lost $ 1000 dollars in the past 2 hours ... I did not switch with another coin and I just focused on the initial coin. but in fact I was still losing, in my opinion trading was not much different from gambling.
Trading is not an easy thing to do, because when we take a step or a decision, what we get is a loss. At least from the losses you get, you get experience and learning about it, what you think is inappropriate and makes you suffer losses. Observe the movement of the chart and always be ready to take the next step if what happens is not what you expect.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good ICO, what criteria? on: July 25, 2019, 08:41:03 PM

2 main page
3 Power Forum (Forum)
4 Transaction Graph (Chart)
5 Trading volume (volume) 24h
6 Scale of investment capital (Market Cap)
7 Price rate
8 Papers proving ... (POS, POW, DPOS)
9 Current Supply (Current Offer)
10 Total supply (Total supply)
11 time a block (s)
12 Master / Supper / Full buttons
13 Mining / Ritual / Havest / Reward
Section / block
15 Budget for finance
16 development teams (development team)
The Elements
18 smart contracts
19 Reward mechanism (Reward)
MultiSig
21 Transaction Fee (Fee)
22 Block size (Blocksize);
23 Purse Purse (wallet)
24 Send Message (Private Message)
25 Inflation (Inflation)
26 Compare crypto with industry
27 WhitePaper
28 Path clearly visible
29 live support (slack, tele)
30 Youtube channels
Social Network (FB, steemit)
32 Twitter channels
33 Blockchain Explorer
34 fully hidden
35 new blockchain / new technology
36 Testnet
37 payment utilities
38 Practical applications
39 Example Name (Alias)
And through the 39 criteria above, I choose AION, ICON, NEO, WANCHAIN, BITDGREE, CURRENT !!
That's a good thing, you have many criteria for choosing a good ICO. Everyone must have their own way of choosing good ICO. For me personally, I will focus more on who the team behind, read the whitepaper and roadmap, and analyze the possibilities that can occur whether the project can attract a lot of investor interest and run until success.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of alts you hodl on: July 24, 2019, 10:01:04 PM
I was just looking at the coinmarketcap table since 2013, I was surprised in what I saw, many coins topping the charts then are now almost non-existent, we need to be careful of the kind of coins we hodl especially for long term. Most of these projects just die after the initial hype.
What coins are you talking about, at least you can share your experience with others about the coin and maybe the cause of the coin is almost non-existent. Indeed, we need to be careful with the investments we make, it is very necessary to observe the market movements from day to day to decide the next step we will take with the coins we are holding.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Managers do not Determine the Legitimacy of a Cryptocurrency Project on: July 21, 2019, 03:24:10 PM
I have read a lot of people claiming that the rank or online personality of the bounty manager can help in knowing the or determining if investing in a token project will be worthwhile. I must tell you I was of the opinion until this morning when I learnt about the incompetence of a bounty manager I used to follow. Remember most of us don't know each others beyond our online profile. I learnt he will be managing more bounty after he left his old profile to embrace another one.

Although, he's not tainted as fraud yet because my source won't say if he is. But the issue is if he is to fraud unsuspecting newbies, that how he will do it. U believe u can trust him base on his forum rank and experience. But he is fake who has series of identities for his guise.

So, don't join a bounty or invest in a project because of the bounty manager. Do your research before investing your money or time on any project.
Most people participate in the ICO project based on who the bounty manager is. This is not wrong because everyone has their own way and trust in the bounty manager who handles the project. Maybe some people will choose to do research on the ICO project regardless of who the manager is, but there is nothing wrong because everyone has their own way.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't complain for too long. on: July 18, 2019, 05:17:33 PM
Good evening everyone, I want to share a little bit of saturation but also want to share the spirit in the current market conditions (Altcoin Prices). When you decide to trade, you must set aside a lot of time to monitor price movements. Actually not only choose the time to buy or sell, but there must be a growing spirit of self. Don't focus too much on conditions, but we need refreshment of mind to make a new strategy. I am optimistic that the altcoin price will grow well, maybe later this year. Do you think so now? Thank you,
Yes right, when you decide to trade, you must continue to observe price movements in the market and analyze it to determine the right time to buy and sell it and also sometimes what we expect does not match what is happening and we must be prepared to do other strategies or take other steps so that we don't get losses and failures later.

671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot Altcoins on: July 17, 2019, 09:24:37 PM
Besides BTC, there are thousands of altcoins. Everyday there are new currencies.

Other than top 20 currencies, what are hot and profitable currencies you think?

Do you think that fresh new currencies are always profitable?

But I don't have so many accounts in various exchanges to buy these altcoins. To be have verified accounts in many exchanges is difficult for me.
Many coins are profitable and indeed not all new coins are profitable, so it is very necessary for us to analyze and observe other coins in order to determine whether the coin has the potential to generate profits, because you do not have to invest only in the long term, you can do it for the short term by observing a number of potential coins and determining when is the right time to buy and sell them.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Research and Hardwork on: July 16, 2019, 09:07:53 PM
If you would agree with me, a lot of things have changed I the world of bounty.
Back in the days of ICO boom, bounty was very profitable. You could engage yourself in just one ore two bounty campaigns in a month and be rest assured you would get a substantial reward, that is able to sustain you ahead of another campaign. The story now seems to be different.
We are now in a time where, if you are not care, even after attempting several bounty campaigns (say ten of them), you might need to wait for months before you could be adequately rewarded from just few on them. Sometimes you may not get enough to justify your hard labour and there are times you get nothing, which means wasted effort and time.

I have thought of this several times and one of the solutions I resolved on is simply intensive research and hardwork.
In order not to waste time in promoting scam projects, that at the end would not pay you or a project with no proper planning, that later does not succeed, you would have to learn how to do proper research and devote much of your time for it.
The reason you also need to work hard, is that you do not know when the reward of a particular project you have researched on would come, due to the general market condition. Therefore, it will be best for you to attempt several bounty campaigns. Not all that you see around, but at least four (4) good ones at a time.

If you really want to limit your complaints as a bounty hunter, then you have to do proper and intensive research on your own and at the same time work hard to get the best you could, irrespective of your rank.
That's right. It is necessary to research an ICO project that you think has the potential before deciding to participate in it because most people only participate without doing research first and in the end what they promote is just a scam. So, for bounty hunters it's better to research about an ICO project, how the team is behind it and what they will do so that the project can be successful.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to move on ? on: July 16, 2019, 03:10:28 PM
Is there anyone out here facing same fate in bounties like I do?
Many bounties I've promoted ends up in delays one after the other and I'm getting tired of it ,I've been promoting projects since march 2018 and so far I can't say I have something to show for it . All I have is token value in ICO/IEO price ,no listed on exchanges..
This often happens to bounty hunters where when the ICO project ends in a delay in the distribution of their tokens, something may happen that makes them delay to distribute them and when you get tokens from the bounty most are not listed on the exchange, so what makes it what we do is in vain. Maybe not all ICO projects are like that, maybe you should analyze more in an ICO project before participating in it.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: July 14, 2019, 02:48:01 PM
Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.

What are your thoughts?
Most beginners are easy to influence and they will immediately believe it while investment in crypto is not just holding and waiting for a few years. Sometimes the investments we make do not match what we have predicted so we have to decide when to sell them and cut bigger losses later. So, for beginners it is better to observe and analyze the suggestions from several people before deciding to invest.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what solutions do make to cover Loss on: July 13, 2019, 04:35:35 PM
Personally , I lost nearly 1500$  from day trading. I do buy back theory now to recover the loss and invest on potential ico's. now i am going on a slowly steady way ,  if we get greedy then  we end up with nothing.

whats your solutions do you do for cover the loss?
Day trading does have a big risk when you take the wrong step, you will get a loss and when we get a loss of things to cover the loss I think by starting to invest in potential coin coins and determine the right time to buy it with the rest of your money have and hope the results of these investments can cover losses.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING! this is very misleading on: July 13, 2019, 03:31:14 PM
Please fellas ,take a minute to look at the image below

Every projects with ICO fundraising has this bars showing on their website if they've met softcap or hardcap ,what came to surprise me is some investors  depends on this bar to decide whether they will invest or not ,they want to be sure that more investors are buying well you might be wrong.

1)Some projects are so shady that they will feed investors fake bars indicating that the sales is going on very well just to make you invest.

2)How can you just depend on a bar to decide if they project is good or not?even if people are rushing a ICO project doesnt mean the project is good, ask what happened to many investors who blindly invest in IEO projects when they rely on exchanges.

3)some projects presale fund raising might start very well and ended up not meeting hardcap in the end.

Rely more on your researches ,no knowledge is lost and knowledge is indeed powerful.

I agree with what you say, indeed most investors choose to invest in the ICO project by looking at the softcap and hardcap on the ICO project and when they see that the project can reach the softcap even almost reaching the hardcap, they decide to invest in it without doing their research themselves about the ICO project and they believe that the ICO project will provide good results without researching it. So, in my opinion, don't rush to decide to invest, do your research about the ICO project before deciding to invest.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins to buy during this bullrun? on: July 12, 2019, 03:20:04 PM
Here are a list of good ones that I found https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/top-5-altcoins-to-buy-during-a-bull-run/

I'm not so sure about Raven tho...

thoughts?
Everyone must have their opinions and reasons for each, so do it according to your own observations and analysis which you think can give you benefits later. And according to me personally BTC is the right choice, but you don't only have to buy BTC, you can buy other coins that you think have the potential and will generate big profits later, maybe you can invest 50% into BTC and 50% on other coins.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 12, 2019, 01:02:13 PM
The most painful experience when promoting a bounty project is thinking you made a right choice by removing the signature of the project you are promoting presently for another project that you think its better and later on? Grin

The first project you are promoting get listed and doubled in value ,how will you feel? Damn! The fact is bounties are unpredictable sometimes ,no one can predict the end results
This often happens to most bounty hunters, when they find a new project that according to their analysis has more potential than the project they are doing, they will choose to delete it and then replace it with a new project that they think is potentially but ultimately what is expected not in accordance with reality and that makes us feel a little disappointed.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Question on: July 11, 2019, 05:17:14 PM
Is it normal that projects will not pay bounty rewards because their sales doesnt reached the target?

Is the bounty manager will be liable to here even its not in their control that ICO failed?

I want to joined Soc Med campaign but I read somewhere that some projects really dont pay at end because of ICO failure.
In my opinion, it is normal when an ICO project fails or does not reach the target and does not distribute the tokens as you say it is natural because the project failed and the tokens will be worthless later so they do not distribute them. Therefore, before deciding to join a project bounty it is better for us to observe the project and analyze how the project and the team in it will be able to run smoothly and reach its target.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge rewards, less value or Less reward, big value on: July 10, 2019, 05:26:43 PM
There have been a lot of posts questioning the rewards of campaigns in recent time, complaints about dev and team giving fewer rewards for campaigns. Many have eyes but cannot see, what is the use of huge rewards with no value in the future why you can be giving fewer rewards that will grow into something big if you can hodl, I will rather participate in a campaign with less reward and huge prospect than wasting my time overloading my portfolio with useless coins that will take me nowhere. If you really want to benefit from crypto, think less of what any new project can bring you new, think more of what you stand to gain in the future, be part of a good project. Don't be deceived by the promise of huge rewards that will deprive you of the future benefits which quality project can give to you. If you invest your time in good project today, even if the rewards look small, if you can hodl then future is certain. Be ready to sacrifice your today for your tomorrow.
Not that easy, not all ICO projects that provide small rewards will be able to make large profits if at the hodl for a certain period of time because some coins actually become even less valuable. So it is indeed necessary to observe and analyze an ICO project before participating in it, but sometimes even though it has been done and we think it is a good project and we get rewarded sometimes the coins obtained do not have value.
