Hey bud, you need a higher TC value, lower intensity, and a specified worksize. You do not need to specify look-up gap, cgminer defaults to 2.
Try --thread-concurrency 16384 and -i 13. Add the -w 256 (work size) flag.
7970s / 280x are the few cards that like the -g (gpu-thread) count @ 2. That means low intensity (13) with a high TC value.

Hey bud, You need powered risers when you are dealing with big TDP cards like 7870s, 79xx's, R9 290x. Needing them technically has nothing to do whether it is a x1-x16, or x16-x16 etc cable.
The manufacturers always estimate card wattage based on the assumption that the 75w provided by the PCI-E bus will be provided by the physical bus connection.
If you got a heavy hitter like say a 7950 or R9 290 hooked up, the card will be drawing that extra 75w through the pcie pins, overspeccing those pins and that entire cable/connection. In other words, you risk blowing something up because your pcie pins are pulling so much extra.
On a lesser TDP card like a 7850 or a R9 270, you're mostly ok.

Yes, i am a bit suprised given the fair launch and all with no premine / instamine. Do people really want the crapcoin launches?? It seems all the good ones (velocitycoin being a good example) just seriously fly under the radar. No pools working is definitely hurting. Once the pools catch up, this coin will catch like fire. Pool -> http://mcr.blocksolved.com/Pool -> https://mrc.nut2pools.com/Yeh, I have noticed that few days ago - it is not important how good coin launch it - it is all about marketing. Market the coin well before release and people will buy it. If you don't, people won't buy it and noone will care about it. You got a point, coinyeeee being a good example. I was just expecting value to be found in a launch with no instamine, no premine, wallets available, scrypt-jane.. but hell i guess not.

The problem with the system of letting the block adjust is it removes any chance for the smaller miners. I mean the diff went way outta my solo league in the test blocks and no pools are working properly! Shouldve just adjusted the difficulty to higher and start. I mean i like the other adjustments but not the 0 value blocks
I personally love the 0 value opening blocks. Keeps the instamine scenario out of the question completely. Most have gotten use to getting huge amount of coins with little hash due to the opening block rewards on most coins being so great. Imo, that shoudn't happen.

minersbest doesnt seem to be working, or its lagging.
what is not ok? i dont see any blocks incoming for quite a while? we have actually 10 blocks found (greater 1000) ... website is laggy :-D okay i see them, but i have no payment. edit: whole site down now. we must handle 185 miner, 1,46 gh/s, 2400 site request/s and still always online ... <- only for microCoinall is fine!Disable frontend imho till you solved it, so no site refresh etc. Yes, and get risked being called a scam pool..unfortunately.
