News regarding new features being implemented, or any stuff related to hyperstake really, since the price on coinswap is becoming very discouraging The price is from inpatient morons who under cutting the next for a small amount of btc . The low priority coin automatically selected is not working,
i made a transfer yesterday and i had a enough balance and messed up 2 blocks that were about to stake and their weight now is zero and didn't stake.
I will look into this. Coin control is something that was published to the crypto community and then ported over to each coins wallet. This is the default logic of coin control, but it doesn't select them solely based on confirmations, there is an extra size parameter in there too. I will do some digging. Thanks for reporting this. Yep last block is 5 hours ago... so don't be worried.
There are only few people with mature blocks hashing right now. As with PoW, there is a problem being solved, and a low amount of hashing means it will get solved slowly. This is what is happening the last 12 hours. The network stake weight is super low. I have one block that is mature right now but only has a weight of 505. For PoS, the problem being solved (kernel) gets easier and easier to solve the more weight you have. So as we all have blocks that are coming online and starting to hash, we will solve it. It could take a few more hours but we should be able to get passed it and then see an avalanche.

current values are all great long term entry points. as for short term you just don't daytrade with this kind of volume, that would be a waste of time and also not very smart. take position, ignore fudders that crawl into every page here trying in vain to scare people out of their coins, come back in a couple of months to enjoy profit. anyway, less and less wc for sale, mintpal reserves dropping everyday by hundreds of thousands. soon there will be less than 10% of total supply available for trading  I transferred over 240K+ from mintpal to my wallet yesterday. |

I started a comparison feature of familiar high-PoS. The goal is not competition (X is better than Y) but cross-fertilisation (X has feature A but not feature B that Y has; let's add it). Inspiration is the improvement in 3D video card after 3D benchmarks arrived in the 90's. I only added feature that are unambiguously beneficial (bold part, the italic part are just information and prone to change). Proof-of-stake List - Features comparison (it is a multitabbed spreadsheet and this tab is a new one) lol i see confusion on the #'s there, are the yearly rates for the coins all listed at the compound for the year rate or the non compound ? HBN is 100% if you compound for the whole year. TEK is 5660% if you compound for a year. Arpoximate for them non compounded HBN is 2x36=72%,, TEK 40x12=480% HBN is 100% non compound and TEK is 500%. 2% every 10 days.. ill spot you some extra days for the year call it 370 days so 37x2= not 100.. you do not get 100% a year on hbn without compounding unless a hardfork to change the 2% every 10 days has been done, here is the math for compounded 2% https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wUGh-rdFkZll5SClcQ6io0g8JDjkRqrHSWbPompTgRU/edit#gid=0actually it is 2.72% every 10 days |

Alright I am just going to throw this out there. We can always do an immediate hardfork. Change the stake age to something like 2 days, then in a week have it change to 5 days, then in another week change back to 9 days. This would require getting coin-swap to update their daemon and everyone would need to immediately update their wallets.
I am here to code for the HYP community, not tell them what to do (ok I like having a little more control than that, but you get the point).

i have 8 blocks each around 2500 and have the same deposit date on my wallet that i transferred from Cryptsy
but only one block stakes 2 days ago and the rest didn't stake yet.
What is making me think is how come the other blocks didn't stake while they are all deposited at the same day around 10 min between each transfer.
