I've downloaded the new wallet twice and it keeps telling me that libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll is missing from my computer. What am I doing wrong  Huh

I want to be right out of the gates when PoS starts   Cool

***edit: the wallet works right after I download it, but then when I try to open it a second time I get that message (with that terrible dull-bell sound)

Sounds like you may have downloaded something and uninstalled it improperly, and it's left a fragment of software behind. It's also possible you may have virus(es). Have you trying installing it on another machine?

I would also like to say that I WANT Delta9 to have a equity position in this coin. It is his only incentive to move this coin forward.  Like I said before what INCENTIVE is there if you have no ownership?

The dream is the incentive. The progression of the ideology and the industry as a whole Smiley , and to help people.

An immense variety of things were done with incentive without ownership.

I don't own a waffle hut but if waffles were outlawed I'd go to war in the name of waffles for all.

I agree if your sole purpose in philanthropic. This may be true if he has a high net worth and money is no issue.

However , I think he is a capitalist , and this can be shown by his capital outlay not only in the raw land , solar setup , water system , and his business agreement with HWC.

D9's interest is selling plants and solving cash & carry problems for retailers. I think he's hit the nail on the head.

Alright network hash rate has dropped quite a bit near the end here and I tossed the rest of my huge 5 MH/s farm on it, haha. I know it's not a lot but I encourage the rest of you to do the same, just keep a little on the coin until the end of PoW.

CANN pump in the making right now (check the order book).

It needs to be a nice and slow gain. That would be awesome.

The price going so low... I didn't even think it's because of whales.

If whales start dumping it more, this coin will be worsth a piece of shit Sad

No, it'll be worth one $10 pre roll. Smiley

For all those monkeys who sold their coin at such low prices then you obviously do not understand or can appreciate the real meaning behind this coin. This is a MOVEMENT! not a freaking circus for greedy fucks. Patience is a true virtue and will always pay off. So stop acting like little kids and just hold for once in ur life.

Hey, they're just doing the MMJ patients a favor with lower weed prices. Smiley
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SLR] SolarCoin | PoW to PoS v. 2.0 | Solar Proof of Generation (§1 = 1MWh) on: October 21, 2014, 11:25:19 PM
Since the Foundation was formed, and regular meetings began taking place, I have been expecting more activity/concrete around both solarcoin streams: technology and promotion.

[snip]

there needs to be a steady focus on the plan, otherwise the entire initiative goes stagnant. It, like the whole effort, can be a living, breathing entity; subject to change where the cause steers it. Ideally, there would be web site updates on the plan and progress weekly, not every 4+ months!  It's not valid anymore to say that cryptography is new and immature…and imagine. It will go where the effort takes it. It needs progress. It needs steady focus.

There are some significant disagreements within the SolarCoin team about what the plan should be and the overall philosophy of this project. Also, we're a small team and we're working very hard, spending many hours behind the scenes to get things done. We've been focusing on doing the things we can all agree on. The other things, we've put them aside for a while.

Probably the SolarCoin team needs some new blood. More volunteers doing work. More opinions and ideas to be shared by new people.

After the switch to Proof of Stake, the SolarCoin project will enter a new phase of development. The way it develops will depend on who steps up to the plate and volunteers to do things, and who pushes for their ideas to be implemented.

I've pushed for 4 things while I've been part of the SolarCoin team:
  • Proof of Stake
  • nonprofit incorporation
  • SLR bounties for volunteers, to incentivize work and accountability
  • a plan to encourage business adoption, such as a SLR coupon program

So far, I am 1 for 4. On the other 3 things, maybe other people will have to become involved and push for them.

I think everything's been done right so far. The coin never claims anything more than what it can deliver and when it does deliver its done properly. This alone has kept the fud wolves at bay and set Solarcoin up for future success. Those other 3 points you mentioned I agree with wholeheartedly. But of course things have to be done in succession in order to ensure a smooth transition to the next achievement. Look at it this way, Solarcoin has come a long way already, it has massive appeal in the green community and that's worldwide. New technology is in development outside of the foundations core team which is also encouraging. Someone mentioned releasing some SLR for development which is a great idea, but that can only occur after incorporation.

In short, if anything plan a short term to do list and publish it in the next minutes meeting. Two things have already occurred to stabilize Solarcoin, block reduction and switch to PoS which if I'm not mistaken is completed. Let that gel for a while and watch the system stabilize then go on to incorporation which I believe is still the cornerstone to making this whole thing work. The floodgates will swing wide open with people all over the place coming out of the woodwork once they can run with the Solarcoin foundation in a legally binding manner.

Can you explain me where this 58.5 Million Cannabiscoins come from?

They where on 1 account!

This account send 117 transactions with each 500.000 Cannabiscoin to other wallets.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cann/address.dws?CYpdnaZPQA3CrwMsFC9tMoP3wLNkn3dMHL.htm

When this will be a premine that means

21.8 Millionen official Premine

+ 58.5 Million Hidden Premine

= 80.3 Million Coins Premined from total 106 Million Coins.

only a question
i found this on the irc channel

Your interpretation is off. That's a balance total, not transaction total.

Now eight 12,500 URO transactions on the blockchain. Last one was today.

Nick is on the right track (as usual). We need a good technology expert to find a good way of automating solarcoin grants. I know floorwalker is working on a system, and I'm sure there's more technology that needs to be put into place. I'm afraid I can't offer more than encouragement and maybe a suggestion or two. I know there is a way to ensure everyone plays fair through encryption. I like the idea of verifying solar output through name plate registration, it makes sense and avoids a lot of technical problems. Really though on a personal level when it comes to solar power generation isn't the lions share of solar going to come from large farms anyway? I think focusing on that would be a good idea, it will help iron out the kinks in the system. Maybe there can be a server that can track peoples power bill data and cross reference this info with solar power farms in their area to interpolate an acceptable data set.

I don't know. I've taken too much aspirin, managed to hurt my back yesterday. So whatever I say it must sound like incoherent rambling.

DEV CONFIRMED ON IRC THAT THERE WAS NO HIDDEN PREMINE.

ONLY FUD FROM THE CCN (Cannacoin) GUYS FOR 100%.

THEY WILL WRITING SOON ABOUT IT,
WHEN THE MEETING IS OVER WITH THE CNN REPORTER.

The only way that the dev can confirm there was no premine is by supplying a copy of the original scrypt based blockedchain.

A copy of the blockchain will certainly help and add more clarity.
Secondly, private keys he received by the miners during the transition from scrypt to x11, that would also be helpful for accounting the totals and putting the nail in this coffin.

No one is going to give you private keys. You're now branded a scam artist.

The private keys would be from the older addresses to validate their existence. Dev team has them all in his hands, so what are you insinuating?

These coins are from the non-used blockchain rendered useless by your own dev, it will allow us to seek a seed for the blockchain (if any still) not scam the community.

They are certainly the nail in the coffin however not necessarily needed to complete the task.

Don't you find it odd the time stamps don't match?

I find many things odd about this scenario playing out with CANN, i'd just like some clarity from the Dev is all i'm seeking.

The longer this is neglected the worse it gets I see it, this should be nipped in the butt and everyone move on…

CANN Dev was the first person notified of this thread and has been aware since its creation. Im sure they are working on a reply to give us some transparency.

If you don't directly answer my question, this conversation is over.

Never mind I must be smoking crack.

[CANN]Cannabis Coin Pre-Mine Transparency Discussion

I’d like to have an open transparent discussion about the pre-mined coins behind Cannabis Coin (CANN). I believe the information below is in the best interest of all those investing in CANN as a cannabis crypto.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cann/address.dws?CNhvRbg39dqwfgdxU78qavUToAW71HBShf.htm

discussion over.

With what does this link refer to that will nullify the information posted here about the pre-mine. Please try to be as informative with your postings as you're trying to clarify your logic. As I see it this still does not answer the 12.5 million in unclaimed wallets that we know of..

Phttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829975.0

Link me the direct blockchain link and we'll talk. Otherwise all I see is a bullshit screen shot.

Block #’s that publicly show this information of the wallets pushed 500k transactions: 9059,9065,9064,9070,9072,9075,9079,9083,9085,9085,9089,9089,9093,9095,9097,9099,9100,9100,9104,9104,9133,9135,9138,9138,9139,9139,9141,9144,248410,261076,261076, 246192

Here is block 9059 to get you started: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cann/block.dws?9059.htm

you can see these addresses in succession on the top 100 richest CANN addresses here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cann/#!rich (make sure to select top 100 addresses)

The 500k wallets start at #22 all the way to #51. These are all linked directly to the pre-mine wallet address: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cann/address.dws?CL2VEsNv5sEvQhUaVj3x13Ch8PJGgFgCyU.htm

Actually it's right in the rich list. It's been much longer than 131 days however which would lead me to believe it was destroyed or the blockchain doesn't know how to interpret the results which I find unbelievable.

easy to count: (100 000 bloks x 420) + (20 502 x 210) = 42 000 000 + 4 305 420 = 46 305 420  Grin

you are right...so why does the block explorer show 68 million CANN?  http://chainz.cryptoid.info/cann/

hmmmmm... what is happening? Dev please, can u explain this? I hope is a mistake

Edit: normally would be 46 312 140 right?

No problem guys and thanks, CannabisCoin released on 4/20/14 as SCRYPT Alg.  It was mined about 21.8mil  up until we decided to drop SCRYPT and go X11 Alg with KGW.  We did a hard fork and premined 1st block on X11 to do the buyback program of mined coins from old to new X11 algo,  This was all paid to the miners manually as agreed.  Noone wanted to lose their coins.

Scrypt version STOPPED @ 52080
Total coins = 21873600 mined

approx. 21882000 - was paid out.
