Mooncoin on top of Cryptsy's LTC-markets again. But price fell a little bit to 16/17 Litoshi. So Alejandro, you got quite some MOON again, I suppose?

We need a second topic What do you want do discuss? No sure, but two topic`s = more people to see about mooncoin So you mean another thread? That's already planned and in the making. But we have to attune it to the release of the new wallet, at least regarding a new ANN-thread. Any other new thread regarding MOON would be nice, of course. For the new ANN-thread with all the information about MOON - Stage 2, please be patient, we are working on that.

probably we shouldn't wait till peme will finish wallets as now people look at deaconboogie first post and go to mooncoin.info which is offline, and don't realize they should go to mooncoin.rocks or mooncoin.com, which redirects to mooncoin.rocks wallet. So we lose a lot of potential Mooncoin followers just because of that.
If you wish, I could deliver the actual mooncoin wallet changed from random to static block reward within maximum 1 week. It's easy to change the source code. Compiling the wallets for windows and mac os takes some time, but 1 week is no problem. I still want to check the work from gjhiggins but it needs some more time....this weekend is full of things and I am moving into a new nice flat at the end of november. So I do not have so much spare time. Please decide if we should create a new wallet with static block reward based on deaconboogies original wallet or if i should first make myself familiar with the wallet code from gjhiggins. What do you think? For me: Option 2 As much as I like to have results, I even more like to have good results ... And if gjhiggins' wallet-prototype should turn out to be not the optimum, we could still revert to deaconboogies wallet with all the necessary changes. What we need is a future-proof solution. Better safe than sorry. EDIT: The question would be: If we change to static rewards with a new wallet based on deaconboogies work, will gjhiggins' one require a mandatory update, too, if we change to it afterwards? Or would it be only a soft-fork, so that everybody themselve could decide to update their wallet, only for the added value?

Ive watched moon since its beginning days, i had a family member buy moon at 100 satoshi. I mined moon from the first day it was mine-able. I just dont see how its doing anything..... If the dev team ran, whats in it for you?? and how will moon come back after the original creator has left??
What about Satoshi? He "ran" also ... If you need a dev-team, we're here to help you. Where did your family member buy at 100 Sat? As far as I know, the highest so far was ~30 Sat? Anyway, welcome to Mooncoin (again). when moon first hit cryptsy, it was at 130 something satoshi Are you sure? When I check www.coinmarketcap.com, I see 23 Satoshi as a maximum. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mooncoin/#charts : Click on "All" to see the whole history. On CoinEx it reached 30+ Satoshi, IIRC. A historical chart for MOON/BTC on Cryptsy would be nice ...

What many people still have not realized that we have this team already which is working on wallets now. We have bought mooncoin.com domain, we are running mooncoin.rocks domain (the name is great for mining), moonchain.net (block explorer), a lot of people are mining mooncoin, we are talking about Mooncoin with investors, we are working on Mooncoin concept, we are looking for Mooncoin payment gateway, Moon online Marketplace.
I believe that deaconboogie, Moon creator and this thread starter, never would leave Mooncoin, if it were not that something happened with him. But decentralised nature of cryptocurrency allows community to develop it nevertheless. Mooncoin has not only dev team, but has decentralised team, so now it will live anyway.
Nicely said. And I like your signature, btw ...

coinflow: Where you see the mooncoin current hash rate and difficulty on mooncoin? Thanks In the wallet, go to Help/Debug-Window. In that window choose the tab Console and enter the command getmininginfo The result looks like this: { "blocks" : 261883, "currentblocksize" : 0, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 13.96326447, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 710507607, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false } Enter the command help at the prompt, to see all available commands. EDIT: networkhashps is the hashrate of the whole network. If you'd like to convert to MH/sec. or KH/sec., go to this site: http://www.translatorscafe.com/cafe/EN/units-converter/prefixes/c/Then enter the number on the left side (From) with "none" selected and choose your desired unit on the right side (To). Done.

I like how the people here are backing Mooncoin. That is a real community with long term visions, not pumpers and dumpers paradise. That is, what a coin needs.
Keep in mind, we are only at the beginning of the cryptocurrencies. Even bitcoin is not known by the vast majority of the earth's population. How should they know about Mooncoin already?
But with the spirit here I think Mooncoin has a very bright future. We only have to be patient.
Yeh, just started a pump You Bought: 2014-10-24 11:31:31 Buy 0.00000015 2109808.82021148 0.31647132 2014-10-24 11:31:31 Buy 0.00000015 33283983.96449343 4.99259759 2014-10-21 11:26:22 Buy 0.00000014 8116030.49519060 1.13624427 No. 2014-10-24 11:18:25 Buy 0.00000015 3000000.00000000 0.45000000 2014-10-24 11:09:26 Buy 0.00000015 1000000.00000000 0.15000000 Those were my buys. And with those little buys you were citing, it is surely not possible to even start something like a pump. Small but still a decent portion out of the 3.62940582LTC sell wall. After that its gonna be 16 Litoshi For me those are ordinary buys in an uptrend. After all the pricce of MOON will go up anyway, be it slow and organically without someone pumping it up, or with a pumper. You cannot prevent MOON from going up in either way. But the first option (natural growth) is the better one, in my opinion. Sorry to disappoint you whit my small buy, for me its a Hugh buy...sorry NO buy is too small, to become part of the Mooncoin-community.

no, i'll put at 10 litoshi to support price. I want give support to the coin. If our trader want to sell his coins, we are here. That is a good idea. If the price is driven too high, the trader will probably set his wall at a higher level again. Just let him sell lower to all who want to buy cheap coins ...

I'd recommend not to urge them. First we have to release the new wallet, which changes from random to static rewards, in order to address the known problem. Then we can - and definitively SHOULD - get more miners to mine Mooncoin, in order to make the network as secure as possible. But these should be more small and independent miners, not necessarily the big cloud ones. Decentralization again - and still - is the magic word.

Moon was dead? now is alive!!!
It never was dead. Only snoozing and recovering. Edit: Something like taking a "Powernap" ...
|
|
|
It would only make real sense for them with the new wallet, changing from random to static rewards. Otherwise miners would complain, because of the low amount of coins they get.
