I would take all emails claiming to be from Bitcoin7 with the biggest grain of salt you can find.

Maybe yes. Maybe no. B7 was run by some guy named Chris.

Interesting, I see the big picture as, security first, less economy and mining talk.

As a piece of advice: don't put money on exchanges where you don't know the real identity of the owners and trust them with the money.
At this point, if the exchanges or any site that has any significant amount of Bitcoin in it, isn't shouting the praises of their awesome security team or staff, you might be a redneck. Or I mean, you might have a site you shouldn't dump significant coin in.

Hurty flurty schnipp schnipp! Bork bork bork!

I'm too tired right now, but can someone make a thread with all the exchanges, including upcoming ones, and reasons why or why we should not trust them. Just a good first post with all the exchanges and the ratings from the thread aggregated.
Good call on Bitcoin7, from that thread, not sure why anyone would use them

So after all of whatever effort they put into this thing, they made off with about what a semi-skilled software engineer makes in a few months. Pretty lame. More than their allowance money I bet. I say this jokingly, but it might be true.

This is an extremely weird and interesting proposition lol. I love it!
So amazing and funny. I was on GLBSE for something else, noticed the ticker for SATOSHISDAEMON.horse, and all I can think of is something else got hacked. I was about make a thread and did one last search to find this. I still think this all might be a ruse.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=46897.msg558689#msg558689And guess what, i was right. The same tactic saved me from all scams in EVE Online, while other people...well, the last big scam in EVE, some months ago, scammed over a trillion of billions of ISK. Funny thing: a lot of ppl were saying that it was a scam, but that didn't stop them from finding fools to scam. So this is overall feeling on the topic since Bitcoin is what is in the eyes of the laws and governments or whoever. I understand that. I still think the real threat of having such large quantities of Bitcoin being held by some who may not be the top people in security factors in.

Holy fuck, sad times. I bet Mr Moon is happy focus will be off him.

Kindly regards WTC-SWE
Respect. The guy took a sec out of his day to pop open another tab in his browser to just let us know it was a mishap, definitely didn't have to do that, and quite shocking to see around these parts lol

How about 10 in 5 public restrooms for .5 btc, one inside the stall, one next to the mirror.

Title promises more than article can deliver.
NPR did the play it safe blogger route, make the headline a question, you can state anything. I've noticed journalism going toward shitty practices like this for a while now, but you need to keep readers somehow.
