681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 11, 2022, 11:48:30 PM
Like you, I do believe that the two fighters will not disappoint the fans, they will bring entertainment and the feeling of being satisfied
after watching the fight.

They really should. Since this trilogy will be the end of their meetings, we can expect that they will perform at their very limit. There will be no other rematch that will happen and this third fight will be the last. Canelo and GGG will do everything to make this fight satisfying. If we refer to their previous fights, they are clashing and exchanging fists most of the time. They are doing defense but mostly, they fought close and sees who will be left standing strong.

Canelo has a strong chin, and GGG has a sturdy upper body, they have each advantage, and who will show a lack of stamina first will be the turning point.

I don't mind as the main purpose is for entertainment or possibly a charity event.

You don't mind at all that's why you didn't understand why others are against the worst exhibition matches Grin The way you speak, it's clear you don't get the point of view of the real boxer's sentiment and real boxers' fan point of view. If exhibition matches are always welcome, why do you think there are lots of issues involved here?

If that's your view then I respect it of course but don't speak generally. If that's for a charity event, I will support it. If that's for entertainment only to make money, never mind.

Couple years ago, a caster who's been in the scene for a long long time mentioned that Match fixing in Dota2 is far more rampant than people realize. Also said that 70% of the teams from South East Asia would be under the scanner if they took the matter seriously.

I agree with you that it's possible and rigging in E-sports, especially under the MOBA category, is easy to rig especially in a local or small competition.

But I personally doubt it will always be the case in the international E-sports league. These are heavily moderated and strict

The big event is between different countries, how can a rigged match will happened there? How is it possible to participate in a fixed match there?
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 11, 2022, 11:35:01 PM
Definitely, it's the legacy because both could make a huge payday on this fight but one of them will not be undefeated anymore after the right. When it comes to legacy, I know some boxers who value that a lot, Mayweather is one, he was able to keep his undefeated record before he retires, and Marquez as well, he KO Pacman and does not agree with another match just to keep that legacy even if he was offered $100 million dollars or more.

Yes obviously after this fight, one of them will be undefeated anymore. But chances also that it will be a draw. Another more money for a rematch lol. But on the serious side, this fight can really end up in a draw as we know their capability and strength. Almost equal honestly. What do you think?

There will be also pressure thing on their mind not to lose that fight as their loss will create an impact on their respective careers.

It's like both of them will be pressured to win and will do everything just to make it happen.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Recent Experience at a Land-Based Casino on: July 11, 2022, 11:31:30 PM
Surely this will have an impact to the casino especially if this came out on media.

Why it will give an impact on the casino if that said person will his take life? It's a casino and anyone knows that there's gambling there, obviously.

What do you guys think of casinos? A rehabilitation program for gamblers? A marketplace? A shopping mall?

Before you stepped-in into a casino, you should know your responsibility. Casinos are not forcing anyone to gamble and they have gambling-responsibility terms.
They wont really be having any issues if ever a person would mess up their lives just because of gambling. Its out of their responsibility and its true that they havent been forced to play in the first place which means
that they wont really be responsible but if one of the workers do sees out one of his relatives on getting addicted and spending up too much and having that concern which is normal then its not bad to make
out some silent approach into the person and not into the form of yelling because it would really be affecting overall reputation which people around could see such public scene.
Its not good for the business but that worker does deserve second chance and should be warned out on what he had done.

About what happened between the employee and his relative that's out of the discussion already involving the casino's reputation and status as that can be settled in a proper way. But like I said, if ever something wrong with that person, casinos are out of it.

Casinos are not there to force anyone and they shouldn't blame what will happen to that person.

I appreciate what the nephew doing but he can stop his relative in a much more responsible way rather than shouting at the business main area.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Grand Lotto Winner on: July 11, 2022, 11:26:54 PM
Being mentioned the winner's name in public or not, there are always people who will try to do bad actions. We don't know what's on the mind of these people. Let's just hope that there will be no cases of inappropriate actions that these winners will experience at the hands of these types of people. I also think of that too once I become a jackpot winner (yes I always bet on the lottery here about 4-5 times a week). But before that safety procedures, I like to win first as that safety can be planned later.

But with this recent news about winners, I have never seen yet a worst-case scenario happened to these winners.

It's all good and hopefully, it will keep that way.

Sad day for the Philippines as we now have no World Champions left after Mark Magsayo loses his WBC Featherweight title.

It's now Donnie Nietes who will have the chance to bring another title for the Philippines but now on his 40 years old and not the same during his prime.

Although seen as underdog, I hope Philippines will back again holding another world title.

Well, I thought that Kevin Durant will be leaving the Brooklyn Nets anymore, and so the rumors are true, and with this maybe Kyrie Irving will be the one left on the Nets, It is crazy how Kevin Durant isn't satisfied on every team he is on, and right now he doesn't want to settle again with the Brooklyn Nets, but for me, if there is no further announcement this will still remain a rumor to me, 2016 was his last years on the Oklahoma Thunders, while 2019 was the last years on the Golden State Warriors while in the Brooklyn Nets it could be 2022, but still, we just need to calm down for a moment there is no given announce that he will really be traded to the other teams,

Kevin Durant can't leave as he is under contract. If the Nets will decide to keep him, no choice for Durant but to play for the team.

There are offered by other teams but the Nets want a big return in exchange for Durant as they gamble for him.

Even Durant requested a trade, it will be hard for the Nets to just released him without a bunch of good players.

I don't know what will be the closest thing that might happen so let's wait instead.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 09, 2022, 11:55:49 PM
Just like Manny Pacquiao, when he left Bob, he had the full freedom to choose the boxer that he lights to fight, and Manny had already earn more money in a fight since Bob has no more slice of the revenue.

The majority of Manny Pacquiao's fights under Top Rank Promotions owned by Bob Arum are mostly title defense match, or if not, considered good match.

And on top of that, Pacquiao always guaranteed with a big pot regardless if he's taking the 40% of the purse split. I don't fully see that Pacquiao's journey under Bob Arum is a nightmare compare to Crawford.

Totally different to Terence Crawford that most fights are not that hyped or big one. So far his fight with Spence Jr. is the biggest match of his career that just turned into reality because he stay away from Bob Arum.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 09, 2022, 11:48:37 PM
KYC is being weaponized by the casinos. When they think the player won “too much” money, they ask for KYC and then even you give them your data, they tell you that can’t tell you about the process because it is against the law blablabla and your money will be seized by the casino just like that. The exchanges do it too. That’s why people hate KYC wholeheartedly. Most of the time KYC is a tool for shielding the scammers.

Yes, you have a valid point and I agree with you. That is really possible to happened or should I say, already happening now?

It's a good discussion you have started and I'm curious if there's a scenario already happened here about that.

My question is, is there a case like that before here that raised in the scam accusations section. If yes, can you give us some references to looked at?
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Group and new investment plattform on: July 09, 2022, 11:45:35 PM
OP is still hanging on and expecting his next withdrawal.

Anyways, I have question for OP, are those withdrawals are already a profit to you or still a long way reaching your return of investment? If already on profit, then I would say it's good to expect since whether they will processed it or not, you already made a profit. No worries at all if they turned out to be scam.

But if your ROI is far from reality, I suggest to start trying to move on now and don't expect that withdrawal to be processed. Feel the pain and regret the actions you did. Come back later on as a responsible person that never will believe now on that type of investment.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Recent Experience at a Land-Based Casino on: July 09, 2022, 11:37:11 PM
If the owner doesn't really have a sense of sympathy and he's all in for the money and profit, he will fire the employee that has stopped one of his customers from gambling because of the situation.
But if the owner has compassion and understanding, that won't be a big deal to him. This happens in some casinos too when they see someone can't handle the addiction, they're banning them from entering the premises.

Not true. Sympathy should be set aside since that was just a manager. A manager is not the owner of the casino.

If the situation will reach the upper and higher authority that's a big trouble for the manager. Imagine that employee create a panic there all of a sudden.

The manager has no control either to keep or fire the employee. I'm sure the casino owner/s will give a long suspension without pay on that employee to the point that this employee will now think of looking a new job.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Careful With Your Slot Activity! on: July 09, 2022, 11:29:11 PM
The problem with the gambler stated by OP, he just runs away and escapes while leaving his family all the troubles.  I hate this kind of person who does not take responsibility for his mistakes.

For now, we should not put a heavy and big pressure on that person since I can't imagined what he's going through right now.

Instead, give him some help as they really need it right now. Sometimes, the people around that person should provide some help automatically without waiting for that person to reached them. After they able to give that person a good treatment and let's say it's about month now of recovery period, they can now worked together on finding a solution to the mess he created.

There is always a solution on a big problem.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 08, 2022, 11:59:15 PM
It's actually fun and always basketball pages and news articles are all over him. But there's no team that wants to take the deal for him. I don't know if it's a meme already that they're posting but certainly, it's really fun to watch. The most recent post that I've read is what you've mentioned about Phoenix.
They should really just give it and the Nets are really eager for his request since it's like that he's just brought mess to the team with entire stay.

When Kevin Durant ask to be traded, his preferred destination was the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat.

Either of those teams doesn't show any interest yet but even if they like to sign Durant, will the Brooklyn Nets will be satisfied with the trade offer?

Brooklyn Nets gambled for Kevin Durant hardly and if the time comes that they will trade him, they will surely like to get a good trade offer in return and not just in exchange for role players and future draft picks.

It will be a loss for the Suns and Heat to give up their several key players just to get Kevin Durant.

Now in the modern world - thing are more covered up there are new techniques and ways for the match fixing. But I am sure every big game has a big game behind it. To me almost every match if not approx 80% matches are fixed. Do you agree?

No. Big games are most watched. There is high money at stake here making it critical to be involved in a match-fixing.

Big games and matches are also recognized by most people around the world and I doubt something fishy will happen here. They won't ruin their reputation for that. Their fans are the reason why they are getting profits.

If we are talking about local leagues or small leagues, maybe there are a few cases of game-fixing but it's not 80%. That was too much.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 08, 2022, 11:54:53 PM
I just hope that height and reach advantage of Rey Vargas won't be used tomorrow so we can see a brawl which i think is advantageous to Magsayo because he is used to this weight category but i doubt Rey Vargas would take the bait.

I guess Mark Magsayo surely understands that he is at a disadvantage in height and reach. Vargas on other hand seems it difficult to think that he won't use his height and reach advantage. I'm excited about this match and Magsayo should do his very best.

I don't mind if he will struggle to win as long as he will be the winner. He doesn't need to satisfy other people about how he will win.

Just over a day of sleep and we can now watch this fight. Magsayo for the win!
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is for big bag holders on: July 07, 2022, 11:49:44 PM
If OP still wants to continue his gambling activity at the dice game, he should bet based on the amount he is willing to risk per round. Don't go x2 bet for every loss but instead make it a simple and smooth run since the bankroll is not that much.

The house edge will crash his bankroll in the long run if he goes for every x2 increase bet amount for every loss. Even a whale is not doing a martingale method since they already know the risks of using it.

OP should also realize that gambling is not easy. Therefore, profit is not easy too.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 07, 2022, 11:36:54 PM
I thought that most of them will be retained by the management but it seems only those that had really contributed a lot. Thus, this is part of the business, letting go is a must and happens most of the time.

You have to consider that teams are managing wisely their tax. Golden State Warriors try to keep him but weren't able to match the Portland Trail Blazers' offer to Gary Payton II that's why money-wise, it's good money waiting for Payton II. That's the first time he received a decent salary that's why he take the bait. He already got a championship ring and since he's young, there are lots of chances to get that again.

Maybe just move on since there are still young players' prospects left in the Golden State Warriors' championship lineup.

- Lose and owe to his friends and bank to play more but so sad he is loss again till his owe hitting $9000

I wonder what kind of convincing power this guy has that even financially struggling he managed to get a loan of $9,000.

Are his friends dumb to just let him borrow without an assurance that he will pay?
Are those banks dumb that didn't check if this person is financially stable?

But of course, taking a loan to gamble is the worst decision you will do. That should not be considered at any cost.
