681  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any more Skill-based services like this? on: December 03, 2015, 05:37:16 PM
In my opinion, Poker and Blackjack are semi-skill based games for players with a good strategic mindset. If you are one of them, then you can try out your skills at Betcoin.ag

But in most of the cases you won't be able to find a 100% skill based game because that will obviously be risky to the game owner since the house edge fully depends on player's skill. Except a few of them are still existing such as Bomberman (Battleship) and Chopcoin.io

In past, there was a site where you could earn Bitcoins by playing chess. But as I said above, the owner was experiencing losses and hence was closed down!

BTW, I got hold of a site => www.velocitychess.com which has a similar principal but I'm not sure whether they reward players with Bitcoins.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: when your out of btc on: December 03, 2015, 05:04:34 PM
I always separate my funds into two wallets; one for gambling and one for investing. And I invest more than gambling.

In doing so, I won't be at least out of BTC and when I notice on certain times that my winning streak is not in my favor, I simply call it a day.

And for newer sites, I look out for faucets/giveaways first in order to try out their "probably-fair" system. Tongue
683  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gaming4coin - Bitcoin Gaming Directory on: December 03, 2015, 04:46:26 PM
You forgot to add Bitbingo.io to your category "bitcoin-bingo"

BTW, are you categorizing the sites randomly or on basis of your personal ranking?

If your answer is the latter one then, may I ask you, on what basis are you ranking them? You can check out DiamondCardz's thread and get some idea about ranking them.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: December 03, 2015, 09:05:05 AM
There is no such limit on how much you can earn exactly through gambling. The more you invest to your bankroll, the more you get the chance to earn.
But keep in mind that house-edge is the most important factor in every gambling rooms, and which determines your fate of winning/losing.

Here's an instance where a player played for months, wagered 1k BTC each day and was initially loosing up to 200 BTC, before getting it back with profits of 500 BTC!

I think you got the general idea of your query by now Wink

But don't gamble much if you become obsessed with getting your lost money while playing.

688  Other / Meta / Re: Why is the activity required for Legendary random? on: December 01, 2015, 06:34:39 PM
I think, getting promoted to Legendary Member depends on...

  • Post Quality.
Whether you were spamming on threads with one liners or irrelevant posts to increase your activity count, after joining the forum. Moreover, some members having the intention of selling their accounts, tries to undergo "potential activity farming" which might adversely affect the chances of becoming a Legendary Member sooner.
(You can check your average post quality here, though this is not an ultimate quality check)

  • Signature Scoring.
Becoming a Legendary Member sooner depends on what kind of signatures you are using. I noticed the ones wearing tame signatures or no signature at all, are becoming Legendary Members quite sooner and the ones actively participating in signature campaign, wearing annoying signatures are still a Hero Member with more than 940 activity counts.
689  Economy / Gambling / Re: When do we have to stop before experienced loss? on: December 01, 2015, 03:45:49 PM
There is no such limit imposed by any gambling sites to stop gambling after playing for certain number of times. But one thing you need to keep in mind is that, every gambling site has a particular house edge and that'll significantly make you lose a certain number of times until you meet their house edge percentage. After that you can again start experiencing wins for couple of following bets.

Thus, you can manually control yourselves by setting up your mindset in such a way that you won't play after an optimum number of bets.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: November 30, 2015, 05:36:40 PM
If gambling was not introduced, you would either have been whiling away your leisure time or engaging yourself in doing something productive like; reading books or fulfilling your hobbies.

Why do I think so?
-- In my opinion, Gambling is a game, either played during one's leisure time to compensate for his boring day or played by some greedy punks, investing thousands of $$$ in order to win the Jackpot.

So, I would rather fulfill my hobbies than wasting my time, trying hard for my luck.

You may have a different perspective anyways. Wink
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest wins on: November 29, 2015, 12:36:21 PM
My biggest win of all time was 0.65 BTC. I generally gamble on Blackjack live casinos at Betcoin.ag. I made up my mind one day to win big no matter what and so I tried card-counting while playing Blackjack and significantly won this amount after playing for nearly 2 hours and 40 minutes!
692  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastDice.com Launching ➽ Demo Mode on: November 29, 2015, 09:30:14 AM
Just now I noticed that Fastdice.com is being redirected to Fasterdice.com! Is Fasterdice.com domain parked on fastdice.com only for the demo period? If not, I would suggest OP to change his site's name in ANN thread's title, logo, infographic and his promotions to "Faster Dice" otherwise that will confuse new players and will led them into thinking that, there is some shady business going on here!

Logo and everything is written fastdice.com. Probably they are buying both of the domains to redirect traffic in . Lots of site has done this before because of the almost similar name in the domain

Yes I'm aware of that fact but they have done just the opposite! They should have redirected fasterdice.com to fastdice.com, not vice versa as it'll be misleading. I just wanted to bring this to OP's notice so that his developer can fix it before launch. (Only 2 hours 30 minutes left!)

any expected date for full version?

Just hop in to their site in order to see the countdown for the launch! Well, it's 2 hours 28 minutes left...

WOW! This game is still running from 2010! I think this is the oldest and most versatile role-playing game in the Bitcoin Community! Yet I didn't notice it before! Well, signing up now Smiley

One question before downloading the client: Do I need to sync the client after downloading just like Bitcoin-Core client? If so, is there any zipped version of the synced files uploaded somewhere?

Thanks.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: November 28, 2015, 08:11:12 PM
You need to play on any gambling games pretty smartly Wink Money management is one of the key ingredient in winning at gambling. Money management is in essence a system in and of itself. It is your ability to control, manage, preserve and build the bankroll you started with. Every bet you make must be automatic and predetermined. There can be no emotion, no guesswork, no hunches and no depending on luck. Every bet must be logical and calculated, whether you are progressing or regressing. Your ability to properly manage your money must always focus on minimizing losses.

Money management must be practiced at all times. A lot of gamblers practice good money management until they get ahead. That is when greed takes over, after people get ahead. Greed pushes them to try to win huge amounts. Greed replaces good money management and causes the player to make dumb bets. Greed erodes the small profits that had been accumulated and leads to disaster. It has happened to all of us. How often have you been ahead in a casino and instead of quitting a winner you gave your profits back to the house along with your original starting bankroll? Tongue

696  Economy / Gambling / Re: best live blackjack site? on: November 28, 2015, 05:09:12 PM
In my opinion you can check out the live Blackjack tables offered by Betcoin.ag. Their user interface is quite fast and intriguing and unlike other live sites, you won't get bored after playing for sometime. Moreover, their dealers are quite charming and interactive. Grin
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 28, 2015, 04:28:12 PM
Gambling is really very addictive. Undecided When people gamble they are influenced by a number of things over which they have no control:

  • Due to the influence of chance, gamblers receive irregular winnings or payouts. Gamblers often think they can guess when the next payout or win will occur, but of course this is impossible to do.

  • Some forms of gambling have been described as hypnotic.  If you gamble when you are angry, depressed, anxious or frustrated, you may go into a trance-like state and temporarily forget all your troubles as well as how much time and money you have spent.  This suggests that a person will only get control over their gambling when they have started to make progress in working on the big worries in their life.

  • Most people have strong values about not giving up easily, and not quitting when the going gets tough.  Some people also have very strong competitive drives. These factors tend to work against gamblers, leading them to keep going until all of their money is gone.

  • Gambling can also provide some other non-financial pay-offs, for example: excitement, relief from boredom/stress, as well as a sense of belonging and company.
698  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastDice.com Launching ➽ Demo Mode on: November 28, 2015, 04:09:28 PM
Just tried out FastDice before it underwent for maintenance. Overall it's UI is clean, quite similar to a faucet (epay.info) but I didn't notice such significant "fastest" bets as claimed in OP. Maybe I an expect this from the actual site. Smiley

And, can you add a feature where instant bets can be playable with keyboard, instead of this Ghost-betting feature since I prefer quicker manual betting rather than script-controlled auto betting.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 28, 2015, 03:47:55 PM
Nearly all casinos are nowadays filled with games of chance, and in all of these you have some chance of winning. However in nearly every instance the odds are in the house's favor. While you might get lucky occasionally, it's statistically impossible to win in the long run unless you cheat/have someone else cheat/card count/steal money. However there are a couple of notable exceptions to this rule, and by playing smart you can maximize your chance of walking out ahead. Wink

One thing for sure, try to avoid roulette, keno and slots. These games involve very little skill, and the house always has an enormous advantage.

Whereas, you can try playing Blackjack. The key is knowing the odds that you will hit the desired sum and betting on those statistics conservatively. Some variations of blackjack can actually give player the advantage (although this is rare).

Finally, use your brain and don't gamble more than what you are willing to lose.
700  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 28, 2015, 03:19:16 AM
Bitcoinblackfriday.info is also trying to promote all sorts of "confirmed" scummy cloud mining websites and other HYIP ponzis, one such example as shown below... (cross-posted from this thread)

His way of writing fully proves he's a scammer!
