sonoIO made an amazing HOWTO/FAQ:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=781961

Many thanks to you sonoIO!
Let's use this thread for collecting all information about BBR usage, i'll be putting this info to website from time to time.

sonoIO is mostly linux-man, we also need to expand this HOWTO/FAQ with Windows(and may be MACOS) information, so if someone feel that he can contribute to it - you very wellcome, contact with sonoIO or post in that thread.

Wow this looks cool. Great info, thanks sonoio!

Finex is bullish, China and Bitstamp bearish!

I suppose by the end of the week we will know if we will move past 500$ or 450$.

The good think is that volume seems to be picking up.

Or maybe, all week, BTC prices will stay between $465 and $485, which does NOT seem to be too out there as far as possibilities?

330-350 Oct/Nov, new ATH March

Strange that however James and other devs are making good progress, the price is still going down. Would this be the bottom? Safe to buy some more? I have trust in BTCD  Smiley

As expected. For now the price rush was all about hype. It calms down now and will go down until the true floor is found. When the dev team releases new tech it will spike again. This will be the default cycle from now on.

What are the SuperTraders?

Also, just curious but I've noticed that a majority of your implementations tend to use the nxt messaging feature as it's core reason for using nxt. I am just wondering your thoughts on why nxt is better for this instead of using bitmessage? Would you be able to accomplish some of the same things with bitmessage?

As far as I understand it the SuperTraders will make sure that the coin conversion on the exchanges are smooth and at the best rate possible to give a most seamless transaction between the coins within the SN. I guess they will also be in control of the TradeBots algorithms since they know best how to implement the trading stuff.

That is a nice stable graph.
However; that nice stable line does include the faster than 'scheduled' increase in difficulty...

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

On average the network is mining 20% faster than 'scheduled'...

Yeah that's been like this since over a year now approx. Moving in the average zone of 20% I guess. Would be cool if the price did the same  Roll Eyes

Scam?

I would still give him one or two more weeks before calling this a scam. He said something about being unable to post updates frequently so yeah maybe just be patient.

Because monero is a shitty coin. Do your homework and maybe you will see why.

It seems r/bitcoin is trending, apparently on the back of a perfect storm of attention because of Paypal, Apple, Bank Of England, Satoshi hack, etc. within a few days of each-other. Lots of noobs are showing up asking to know what bitcoin is all about. Now we don't know for sure if financial types will be doing the same to their brokers right now, but it seems a pretty daft time to sell this weekend. No wonder the shadowy puppetmasters of the noisy beartrolls in this forum are bribing them extra to lure your precious coins into their ravenous maws.

More shaky money getting in. Won't affect the trend >3%.

What's happening with 1200 BTCD given to Bitcoinprbuzz? There was one press release one month ago, that was just ACCESSWIRE paid press release, this is what shitcoins use to get into yahoo and make a false big deal of it.. Nobody cares about these scam-paid PRs.

I was offering some real marketing, to spend 40 hours in the planes to talk during my speech about Teleport in China Bitcoin Expo, maybe hand out some flyers ot chinesse investors/journalists, talk about BTCD with some most influencal people in the crypto world at the event, because this topic says: "Bounty Opportunities". I have all sources prepared now thanks to my 2-days works on http://www.coinssource.com/supernets-coin-offering-raises-over-2000-bitcoins-hours/, but nobody decided to support this offer

First of all, the 1200 BTCD paid to BitcoinPRbuzz was from my own personal BTCD funds. (**edit** they've only received half so far)

Secondly, I made this deal with them at a time when we had no real media presence and were still relatively unknown.  You and I we're in contact at this time discussing the possibility of doing media work for BTCD and then you just disappeared.

After the first PR we we were working on releasing the 2nd, however during that time bitcoinprbuzz had some attack issues and then after we re-established communication a lot had changed with Supernet and such and we decided to change the substance of the 2nd PR to be primarily about Supernet and BTCD.  It will be released within a few days.

It would definitely be an understatement to say that I've been happy with the service they've provided so far, but considering our recent communication and the chance to enhance the value of their BTCD stake, they certainly have incentive to make things right.

Official donations we've raised so far are being used to primarily fund the technical features that are soon to be released.  Tomorrow, we will be releasing a full break-down of how the current donations will be paid out.  After the first wallet release with the new features, we'll be able to shift gears and allocate a large portion of donation funds for promotion efforts.

Thanks for clearing this up Azeh. Some trolls might be lurking around the corner...

In a veritable sea of good news the decline seems to have stalled.

Looking at a 12 hour chart on bitcoinwisdom of stamp it looks surprisingly bullish. A sequence of higher lows. A move upwards to retest the 680 area (despite the doom mongering reaching an almost overwhelming din on here the last few weeks) looks both possible and if it occurs over the next month would be a nice platform for a potential next move upwards. If that happens then it will look really obvious that the 3xx low was THE low and all the bears will be wondering why they didn't buy in between 3xx and 650 Smiley.

I guess you mean 4xx both times but otherwise yeah pretty much this.
697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 12, 2014, 03:11:43 PM
Every day, for weeks on end, all I see is bots trading back and forth.  When are we gonna get some real buyers again?

Haven't we been promised the traders to come back after summer? It's nearly autumn now and I don't see any increase, in fact we're still going down, I suppose... Maybe the real bottom hasn't been reached. We need to meet the long-long-long-term support, I believe.

Well, yeah. That's what euphorias last gasp does. Hit 330-350 range and shoot back up in no time. You will see.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 12, 2014, 03:04:29 PM
supernet is a platform for providing anti-competition.  To innovate you need competition.  Supernet = anti innovation platform.

You don't really get what superNET is yet I don't think.

Altcoins exist independently of superNET. SuperNET is a technology that allows people to access many different features and technologies from one wallet.

Think of superNET like the Google of the cryptoworld. It's a company that attempts to organize and present information and options to people who use cryptocurrencies. It also makes money like Google does by monetizing that information. In the last year there have been lots of amazing technologies developed in the cryptoworld. The problem is all of these technologies are fragmented among different cryptos making it difficult for the average person to use them, or even know that they exist. Decentralised asset exchanges and strong anonymous transactions are two examples of things you will be able to access right away from the superNET GUI that will be integrated in every wallet in every cryptocurrency that is a part of the superNET.

Over time people will continue to invent and develop new technologies on new cryptocurrenies. If I want to use these new technologies do I have go to an exchange sell a bunch of the coins I'm currently using and enjoying? No, because I can just continue to use them through the superNET and still have access to every feature on the network. When new technologies come out it will clearly be beneficial for them to join superNET as this will allow people to use the technology through the superNET. To the user it will be a simple and easy to use GUI where you make transactions like you would otherwise, but James' has developed multiple technologies like Teleport/Telepods, MGW, InstantDEX ect. that do all the buying, selling, and trading behind the scenes. Using superNET will be easy for people. SuperNET will also make money from fees and people paying a premium to have their services listed on the superNET GUI(most likely, these things are still to be worked out, but think Google with context specific and beneficial listings).

What would you rather have, 10 wallets on your computer holding different amounts of different cryptos, or would you rather just have one wallet that has access to the superNET where you have all of the services available to you on demand through a unified interface?

Exactly. Thanks for the nice writeup.

No orders yet, the details are still being worked out.  If you follow this thread, you'll know when they're ready to order Smiley
following intently! Grin

Yeah, me too. If this really works as intended it could be an aweomse fiat bridge.

Übermorgen wird NODE auf Bter gehandelt. Bin gespannt..  Smiley

2.5 was hot ist.
