Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is very much ready for the session and I feel his passion for United is making him invest in big players making new signings ahead of the season with a combined effort with his vice chairman Ed Woodward who is also eager to bring home bigger trophies this season United should be top of the table
Manchester United chose Solskjær as manager on 19 December 2018, he replaced Jose Mourinho for the remainder of the 18/19 season. More than three years without a title or trophy. I think his best achievement is the 2021 UEFA Europa League Runner-up. The rest I don't think is there, maybe he needs a chance, but 3 years is a long time. Maybe next season could be his last season because if it's 4 years without a title it's very bad. Management should evaluate him immediately if I read he has spent a lot of money on shopping. For me, football is bigger than just trophies; ofcourse trophies are important and all Football Managers are judged by trophies won. But football owners know what's best and thats why Ole Solksjaer remains the best Manchester United coach after SAF. Ole has given Manchester united a face, an identity and ofcourse i am sure the trophies would come with consistent. Qualifying matches this week, with everything still possible for all teams except PSV Eindhoven. On Wednesday I will keep my fingers crossed for Rapid Wien again, after the very bad game in their own league on Saturday it is also possible that they will lose the away game in Prague. To me, i see the Haaland situation as Dortmund refusing to sell up 2 core squad members in the same summer; it is not about the money involved, or the release clause in Haaland contract. It is about keeping the Dortmund squad competitive ahead of a new season. On the other hand, the Player himself has shown no signs of wanting to leave, and ofcourse not to London. Dortmund would earn huge bucks from Haaland departure; either this summer or next summer It is true that Haaland doesn't appear on rush to quit Dortmund as Mbappe on PSG but that doesn't mean that he wants to stay there until 2024 imo. Dortmund is known to farm good players, I mean they pick future top players, make them stars then sell them and so on. They want to compete in European leagues, they want to have the Bundesliga title but they aren't spending a lot to do it. After Brentford in England, Dortmund is another team that i cherish their business model; they run the club properly and competitively on or off the pitch; with set targets in place for every transfer window, as well as a tailored replacements for players too. I don't think liverpool needs a New signing, they need new mental state, they were very luck to have been in the UEFA champions league spot, I think that's an encouragement for them, they still have some unused talented players who hasn't displayed, Thiago hasn't really replicated his skills at Baryern Munich in Liverpool, maybe a second season is the charm for him. That said I think the favorite team for me to win next seasons premier league is Chelsea, they have the hottest players in the league and the coach has manned the team up well.
Liverpool is actually a team that needs new signings going to the new season; they have lost Gini to PSG after he failed to sign a new contract; and they are very short and low on squad depth, which worsened their league form last season after few injuries and loss of form to key players. For the next Premier league season, only Manchester city so far, has the depth and the squad to win the league title. Time will tell who the close contenders are |

If Haaland doesn't sell this year and Dortmund doesn't extend his contract, his contract expires next year. BvB Dortmund could lose a football star like Haaland for free with no revenue. They are also aware of this. So if the contract cannot be renewed, it would be more profitable for them to sell it.
Haaland contract expires in June 2024 but he can quit Dortmund next year after paying €75m. I read Chelsea offered around €150m to Dortmund, accept it or leave it, I think it is a golden chance for Dortmund otherwise they will lose him next year most probably for half that number! At the moment Dortmund should sell Haaland. 150m is a very large amount of money. Maybe Haaland should be sold, otherwise they can add some experienced players to the team by spending more money. Then they can expect to win the title. Relying on Haaland alone is not possible to win the title. A pre season tournament has zero effects on how a clubside approaches a new season and to be honest; pre seasons are just to gain match fitness and fix match rustiness. Messi does not see himself playing elsewhere, the headline is misleading because the PSG I know would do anything thing to get Messi if he was to make any move this summer, Barcelona needs to cut down €200,000 from player salary to be able to sign in players or renew any contract that's the reason Messi deal is still pending because no player wants to take a pay cut. Barcelona is set to release Countiho and Dembele to reduce wages. I don't understand the pay cut, it's like La Liga doesn't appreciate what this player has contributed to the league. The team is being rebranded to challenge again for the champions league, with the signing of Ramos, Donnarauma, Gini and prospect of getting Pogba or Carmavinga.

Between Dembele,Coutinho,and Antone Griezman,one of them must depart Barcelona this season due to the arrival of Aguero and Delay.But among all those players tipped to leave the club this summer,Griezman's sale is one that I don't think Barca coach will consider,because he knows the impact of the lad on the pitch.
In my opinion, one of the players that Barcelona might let go is Antoine Griezmann because currently there are two clubs interested in bringing Griezmann (Chelsea and Atletico Madrid). Barcelona needs income (or reduces their expenses) so if the offer for Griezmann is worth it, I think Barcelona will let Griezmann go. Griezmann himself also seems ready to leave Barcelona, so there is no reason for Barcelona to keep Griezmann when they need a lot of income in order to meet La Liga's financial fair play rules. I disagree with you, Greizmann earns himself close to 800k weekly and i do not believe he is forcing a move. I think Barcelona are just desperately trying to reduce their wage cap (as authorized by la liga laws) so that Messia is allowed to sign a new contract. Another important factor is that Barcelona are offering Griezmann and other players for sale which means they cannot dictate selling fee. Spurs never really gave him his system players, dude makes his teams play a certain way and if you do not give him those players, he will just be forcing players unfit for his strategy to play for him and that is not going to give you good results. Let's hope Roma doesn't do that and gets players he wants, but Arsenal will have to wait some more.

Arteta has retained manager status at Arsenal because the owners are pleased with the mediocrity around; why do i say this ? Arteta has mismanaged Arsenal squad and has underperformed at his role with the gunners, and he always get praised as the next best thing in football. They have not won the league yet, they have only won the league cup this season so I don't understand what you mean by they are dominating everywhere, it still mathematical possible for them to lose the league, the EPL is not a league you can dominates, you can only win when you put some much effect, Liverpool was the best team in the last three years look at them now. Real domination is in the Bundesliga and Serie A.

MCFC are premier league champions already. Today, Leicester City ? - ? Newcastle United It is in the best interest for Leicester city and Newcastle United to win today; which makes the game a very complicated one. Leicester face Chelsea, MUFC and Tottenham in their final league games and a win against Newcastle can atleast assure their champions league spot. While Newcastle also has to win, to stay 6 points afloat the relegation zone, Newcastle meanwhile face MCFC, relegated Sheffield and, relegation struggler Fulham. I think a draw will suffice. |
