Most of the advice I see when someone asks if they should HODL or trade is that to HODL.
If we only HODL and not trade, how will we ever make profit.
If we do HODL, how long do we have to just hold. The only thing happens is the price keep going down.
I believe instead of just keep holding, we should at least start trading. For beginners they can also learn how to trade.
I've started to trade 3 months ago and I've been earning profit since.
This is just my opinion and I would encourage others to do so as well.

Hold is simple but how we set stop loss. take profit and follow our rules is hard. Hold strategy always use long term period meaning only replace your money into trusted product and have future not hope. For beginner please use demo account because practice can open your mind about market works and risk. Best time to invest is next year, you need more than dump major pairs to go invest. Before replace your money you need to see coins price and market trend because they are one, can't be separate. If those thing have different direction you need to follow the trend not the price, same also when go to the same direction. Meaning trend take big part not the price. think again before too late or wait until next year like me. |

I believe the dump in the price of cryptocurrencies will not exceed this year. No matter how dip the fall is, we will definitely have a surge in price and soar high in near future.
This is an opportunity for bounty participants, even for those who are coming in newly to work now, like they are just starting allover, because after this dip will come a pump and it is most likely going to come when you least expected.
Keep up the spirit as it were during the early years of bounty. You will definitely be glad you are still in the system.
Your faith is very good but depend on what, I don't see any opportunity at this time. People will wise calculation, big money and faith will keep stay but what about people who don't have nothing except hope?. As the market is in pain with all coins declining dramatically in prices, for instance bitcoin dropping to as low as $3,700. Please don't do that, market is still down trend. If you decides to invest/ trade just do it out side crypto ( forex/ commodities ) because many people already leave crypto, you can see from demand at many web or graphic exchanges. I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?
Hold is good strategy but I'm people has different reason depend their own rules and purposes. They have full control about their asset/ activity but market also have their own answer. In many cases hold win but in this situation " HOLD " will become your nightmare, market is really bad. Up to you and up to them, prepare for the worst and trust no one. |

I chose to sell all my asset and try another way create income out side crypto market, such us blog and forex trading. Start new one is not easy but I don't see any reason to keep stay specially buy back or hold. I already lost many value asset and I don't want stuck in here. for me the only thing that dragging the crypto currency price are two things
the bad and fake news that are spreading by some people who has big interest on crypto
there is no denying that this is their doing and nothing else, who has the money and funds to do that?

forget about bitcoin which fell to the value of $ 4,570.01 some time ago and etherum fell to a value of $ 136.14. see the current market, how the market is again marked green, although the increase is not significant. Will a bull run happen soon? not necessarily. but at least this is a sign for us to always believe in crypto that prices will not always be red, there must be a chance for green again.
I don't think so, please see again the trends not the price. Trends meaning limit and price is inside it, will follow the limit. I believe it will sideways mode and continue until end of the years. This is very bad situation for us because if we push enter market and the price goes down more deeper you'll lost your asset. Most of us that come into cryptocurrencies trading have this in mind that when bitcoin is in bearish trend we are loosing money and that is why we are seeing thread of loses in this bearish market. Few know that you can trade usd/bitcoin and make money in this bearish trend all you just need to do is change your analysis from what you are used to to what is happening now and you will make money.
Nice strategy but if the price keep goes down we will never get profit, specially when down trend running in long term period. Many people fails with their strategy but they keep stay with big faith that crypto will rise again, wrong mindset I believe. For your post I'll try it and maybe this is the right strategy. Yes you are right but 2017 will never repeat again even happen it will take 5 - 10 years again, can you patience to wait? I don't think so. in my opinion 2019 bitcoin can be back in $2-$3k if in december price going lower, many people believe in 2019 can recover but if people only hold and no more buy i think is hard to recover look in september-october the price is stable and now going down.

I belive it was one of the triggers that caused this dump.
Many project postponed this time, specially after hard fork. Developer team need hard work to get solution to face market condition, very difficult for everyone. Postponed it doesn't mean fail but this is sign we need to careful and not replace our trust, I'm not stop you but please think again. I lost many value asset this time and mostly because postponed project, after list the price is so low, nightmare for me. |
