I had known that this game would be surely tough as well as exciting. I also knew it would produce goals from both sides as well. The first half of the game was sure exciting and I’m pretty sure each sides would have a lot of pep talks as well as tactical changes on both sides. Both sides played really well and the second half would only get more exciting as each side would be going at it hard to score goals and win. I still think Manchester City has a good chance of winning the game and I don’t expect it to be an easy feat also. I know the second half would only be more exciting. I just wish Manchester City would calm down and go easy on the game. No doubt it was a tough match but Manchester City really showed why they are the better team by fighting hard. Arsenal are one of my favorite to win the Europa league this season. I’m not disputing that there are also other top favourites too like Barcelona, Manchester United too but in the playoffs one team will have to advance further from the pair so it will be either United or Barcelona so Arsenal will have a better chance after the two legs. It's been a long time since Arsenal won an European trophy it will be really nice to see them have that experience once again.

It seems like Chelsea's search of a goalkeeper will never end. Because this time there are rumours like they are interested in the Brentford goalkeeper David Raya. He has played in 23 games in total so far and conceded 30 goals. 8 of these games were clean sheets for him. This is pretty good to me considering the team he plays for. However Chelsea still have contracts with Mendy and Kepa both for two more years now. I wonder what Potter is thinking about this situation. We don't even know if this is his idea. I don't think Chelsea's main problem is a goalkeeper now. They should focus on weak spots in the team first by creating some strategies for them. Potter does not have faith in Mendy anymore because currently Chelsea have three keepers in the team with a new keeper coming in in the January transfer window. Signing of David Raya will only mean either of the two first choice goalkeepers will have to leave in the summer of any of the three to be loaned out but I don't think Chelsea will be signings a new goalkeeper except they have plans to sell one of theirs. I'm not sure but it feels like Bayern Munich season is not acting like the other precious seasons because from what we remember, Bayern Munich usually could take lead and win the league but huge difference and every year the second team in the league could usually fight to stay send and they had literally no luck to win the first place while this season Bayern Munich is just one single points head and this is very much lost to the second team so I guess this season Union Berlin can even have the chance to become the champion.

But apart from all that they are still able to lead the standings even though with a very tight difference in points. Bad news for the Gunners as Thomas Partey is expected to miss this crucial tie against Manchester city tonight due to a muscular injury. It’s been instrumental to their game this season and Arsenal have only lost a game he’s played in this season. I expect Jorginho to produce some good play tonight. I wish Jorginho would play well and take his place in Arsenal starting squad regularly and don't need to suffer from Partey’s injury scare anymore. Besides any team that is overly dependent on a player to the extent of not being able to navigate a match without him is not ready for the title.

Bayern Munich were impressive last night, they played with much confidence and strength, and showed good tactics against PSG. It was good to see Kylian Mbappe back on the pitch again after a short time injury and he made a huge impact as he came in but too unlucky to have two goals denied for offside. Hopefully PSG will return much better and stronger in the second leg with all stars complete and starting.
Kylian Mbappe was absent from the beginning of the match but however when he found himself inside in the second hand he made so much impact in the team. Assuming he was there from the beginning there would have been a different result. Congratulations to Bayern they played well and deserve the win. |

Now the championship race is more like among Bayern Munich, Union Berlin and Dortmund now.
Because the biggest gap among these teams is only three points. Union Berlin are the biggest surprise team in the season among them of course. They were even the leader previously but they lost a couple of positions due to starting a bad form. But still they made a big effort again and climbed to the second position. It looks like they are very determined to stay in this competition until the end. The championship run is just lovely in the Bundesliga now.
I think that Union Berlin is superfluous here. The only way it can stay here I see is this: Bayern and Dortmund continue their performance in the Champions League until the later stages, and Union Berlin loses to Ajax in the Europa League and completely concentrates on the Bundesliga. But even in this case, it will remain an underdog. Yep in the end they will only be troublesome for positions 2 to 4 but not for the championship position even I still think that nothing is too much trouble for Bayern actually  Bayern's current condition remains the same even though there are indeed a number of matches that don't go well for the bettors but that doesn't make it difficult for Bayern at all to become champions because regardless of how they are now, Bayern will definitely win the title. Its been four rounds since liverpool team managed to win in the premiere league i think today game is the perfect opportunity to get the three points since they will be playing at home against everton one of the relegation zone teams, except last round win against arsenal, everton team didn't show much this season so i think liverpool odds are a good deal to win some money.

Yes it's not easy for Arsenal to reach the final, I'm not an Arsenal fan but for now I love this team, they really worthy to be in the final, also Premier League is the most competitive league but Arsenal can still stay at the top of the standings. Manchester United has had a decline in performance lately and I'm thinking it's because of Cancelo'a absence. I'm doubting if they will make it through the first outing in round 16 without him.
