Apart from all that, I don't think it can be related now because indeed in terms of performance and the conditions of the players are clearly different. Judging these two teams base on the caliber of players they both posses is absolutely wrong. There’s a reason it’s call football, a game full of uncertainties and unexpected occurrences. Manchester city lost to Brentford at Etihad stadium and if we are to compare the teams base on the quality of players, then we’ll be wrong. No doubt Arsenal doesn’t have a good record against Manchester city but this current Arsenal side is a bit different from the previous years. We can see the way they’ve been playing and how far they have gone this season. I scent a little anger in the players after the last game, so I expect them to turn up well today.

Manchester City's winning record over Arsenal will be maintained, that is my prediction.
I don't doubt Manchester City's good record against Arsenal although that is something maybe different today. Arsenal have been in better form this season, they lead the table but recently have been on a dip. Their defeats and draws in the last few matches have given Manchester City a lot of hope to try to regain the throne. Today the two of them will determine who is the favorite to win the title, and of course this fight is really interesting for me.

Manchester City don't have big problems about their main man in this match, obviously it's good for them. I can definitely say that Manchester City will win this game by 2 or 3 goals, but it's always possible to get both teams to score.

Liverpool got a really important win for themselves. I was having some doubts about the Everton game honestly. Because Liverpool were still not giving any confidence to people with their effort and Everton made a great start with Sean Dyche by beating Arsenal right away.

However we watched a very effective Liverpool this time. The first goal was really interesting though. Everton were very close to scoring the first goal by a header but it hit the goal post. Right after that incident Liverpool had a counter-attack and found the goal easily by Salah's touch. I've really missed Liverpool's successful fast counter-attacks like this. On the second goal there was a defensive mistake by Coady. He wanted to leave the ball to the goalkeeper but there was a disagreement there which cost them high.

Liverpool still haven't found the right person to fill the gap left by Mane. Nunez, who is plotted as a player in that position, has not been able to make many major contributions. But nunez in the match against Everton he was able to contribute an Assist for Salah goal and that was the best Assist he did. Even so, he still has difficulties in finishing where in the last 6 matches Nunez has not scored a goal.

This game is about much more than only the 3 points. If Arsenal loses they are under great pressure afterwards and there is no more comfort zone for them. It is also about their downtrend and whether they can turn it around or whether they will have their third game in a row without winning, which could create quite some negative momentum for them over the next few weeks.

that's actually a very good match for gakpo. he was scoring first goal but it seems like that we can't take the result against everton as a good reason to say if gakpo has found its best performance. Liverpool has been using the result from last match to boost the performance from its club. Klopp was also feeling confident with the result against everton. It takes a few matches for gakpo to make his first goal and it's also against a team that has been performing the worst in EPL.

Yeah they did well but I wouldn't call them back to form yet. Things were better in last game but they still have to improve a lot. They still have lot of injured players and without them and to play in PL and CL both is very tough. What they need is a strong performance from everyone in the team. Next game is against Newcastle and they are a tough opponents so it would be interesting to see if they will be able to continue against them.

Based on record the odd favors Man City to win today's match, however Arsenal had up there game this season that is why they remained at the top of the table and very consistent despite not winning in their last two matches thus it's not going to be an easy match for both clubs, recall Man City narrowly win Arsenal in their last FA cup in a match that the gunners missed some clearcut chances of winning it, today Arsenal will acknowledge the fact that this is the only chance of winning the league this season is to defeat Man City and extend their lead to six points or atleast play a draw with an outstanding match.

Arsenal would most likely in my opinion, play more of a defensive game than of an attacking one. I believe they know too well the might of Manchester City and would hopefully be prepared to face them squarely. I particularly like the fact that they don’t actually rely on a player to keep things moving. I bet they know they’re up against a worthy contender and would plan accordingly.
I’m placing my bet on Manchester City to win the game. They’re just itching to catch up as quickly as possible and would go all out to win this game. It would no doubt be a tough one. I think both sides are likely to score a goal.

I used to think i was the only who think havertz should be dropped just has he did with mount, havertz is not a natural no.9 and so when you have a natural 9 you shouldn’t use havertz as a 9, you can only use him when there is no 9 available. Havertz will never give the kind of a 9 run and vibes he always just stands and walks like he own chelsea. Fofana gave us a very impressive performance when he came on against fulham and you still leave that kind of a player on the bench? No potter is not the man he doesn’t even have a playing style and he is not demanding, with the kind of players chelsea has he should be winning team like west ham 3 or 4 goals ahaead.

Now that chilwell is fully fit I don’t think he will have any excuse not to start him next game cos I don’t even know what cucurella is doing in chelsea in the first place. A player with zero confidence should still be playing for bottom table teams.

Kai Harvetz is not a bad player at all, he has made an impression for the blues but the fact remains that he is not a number nine even though he is capable of playing as a nine which he hasn't been too clinical playing. Chelsea still need a proper number nine someone like Aubameyang but not necessarily Aubameyang. Fofana fits the shoes and could be the perfect replacement if he could get more chance to prove himself because he looked clinical coming on against Fulham.

I think there is no reason for sacking Klopp now. Liverpool shouldn't make the same mistake Chelsea made. Chelsea sacked Tuchel for some other reason and there is still no change in the team since Potter's arrival. We haven't watched them in the Champions League too much yet. But the Premier League is the most important tournament for them actually. I won't even be surpised if Potter also gets sacked at the end of the season unless Chelsea perform a miracle and make it to top 4.

Anyway coming back to Liverpool, I don't think this is Klopp's fault at all. In the end Liverpool have been continuing with him for many years and there has been a great chemistry between. However there are some in-team problems as it seems and the players need to find a solution for this.

I also have some believe that Liverpool will get back to winning ways because the signs are there, against Everton Liverpool showed class yet again and I think the Liverpool board will be considerate. If Liverpool can defeat Real Madrid or get even a draw in the first leg it will increase the team's confidence going into the next game against Newcastle.
