Both boards are marked with an "1" shit ? what's the problem you are minting 251.7 GHs Is not the best I've seen but not the worst either. have u use bertmod aisc_status.pl to get the number of cores enabled on yours asics? if you have a lot of diabled core give 0.96 a try or use http://www.kncminer.com/userfiles/file/enablecores.bin (see support page for instaructions) did you check this if this apply to you http://forum.kncminer.com/filedata/fetch?photoid=8379? sickpig, I am somewhat happy, unit was late in my eyes, and was hoping more for like 275GH/s at the server...i think phoenix1969 has 3 saturns running like that....mine seems to top out at 235/240GH/s on the server side...although less than 1% error rate on the server side...so thanks for the input and will check it out...i did post a bertmod result too. thanks again. |

miner_knc 233.65 GH/s 5534080 (99.82%) 7936 / 31616 / 2176
temps are 47 slot 1, and 40.5c slot 5
did you atleast do the enable cores ?? one thing .96 does that I see is it will hash a little slower than .95 but much less HW errors thus less cores going off which equals better output, but if you have cores that are always down might get more out of ,95 or .94 with auto restart script since usually those firmwares will let your miner drift to lower and lower avg DPoS, if you notice in my stats, I have less than a 1% error rate, so I don't want to mess that up, but feel like 230GH/s for a Saturn is lower than what others are showing for their Saturns. phoenix1969 has 3 saturns churning at 275GH/s each...I would like at least 250, but not sure if its attainable. I have done nothing to the miner, not even enabling ssh, other than plug it in and run it....suggestions, ideas, and comments fully accepted, thanks ahead of time. how are you seeing 1%? The HW error rate is the real killer. You can see that either by viewing cgminer or running bertmods acis_status.pl / get status page you'll see either something good: Device Hardware%=3.2182 or crappy: Device Hardware%=14.1518 one of your boards will show something like this if you checkl: Temperature sensor: 36.0 C Die ID Cores ON Cores OFF % 0 36 12 75 1 48 0 100 2 48 0 100 3 48 0 100 DPoS, I thought the pool server stats were the ones that counted.....anyhow, do you or anyone else know of a thread were it gives specific instructions on accessing the Saturn via ssh for a total newb....I know I can figure it out by doing tons of research, but hopefully someone has condensed all the instructions??? |

Well, here are my stats for a saturn delivered today, after about 8 1/2 hrs. of mining
miner_knc 229.68 GH/s 1332864 (99.70%) 1792 / 8064 / 2176
temps look great at 46.5 celsius and 41c
currently on .95......like the low errors, scared to update firmware but also want the faster hashing rate described by other Saturn owners like phoenix1969, he has 3 Saturns churning at about 275GH/s ea.
Any Saturn owners with ideas/suggestions???

wow, pretty easy setup...would have done it in less than 5 or 10 minutes, but I had to take down a litecoin rig to "borrow" its 1200w Coolmaster...I have a Corsair HX1050 but was scared to use it. Alittle overkill for a Saturn, but I also have 2 Blades running off this Coolmaster PSU.
Anyway, haven't slept in a while, will upgrade firmware later....see how that goes. Thanks KNC.

0.96 did indeed speed my saturn up a tad...about 10Gh/s

good news ! maybe I didn't notice before with .95, but the HW error rate is 1.28% according to cgminer after I just upgraded to .96 KnC 0: | 333.4G/276.6Gh/s | A:56589 R:263 HW:700 WU:3895.2/m the first number is declining slowly (started at over 400GH). Maybe once they converge, the HW rate will slow down... will keep an eye on my lonely Saturn... hey canary....nice to see you here....AND 400GH/s for a Saturn??? how, please tell as mine just literally arrived. I am actually going to unpack now, read manual and instructions then go for it.... |

looks like my unit is in Germany, and possibly in the air right now.....glad yes, excited, ehhh.....in less than a day the difficulty is about to skyrocket and those precious few days that I feel my unit is late is definitely going to hurt....luckily for me this whole BITCOIN project has been a write off and will still be helpful but I can imagine the pain for those who don't have that benefit and are still behind my order.
