701  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Don't Buy Any Hardware Right Now Unless You Want to Lose Money! on: February 26, 2015, 04:44:37 AM
KNC aren't people/miner friendly. It's been known for sometime that they will stop building personal miners.  I read somewhere they have been given outside funding to facilitate their venture.  You can guarantee they will sell this tech to the highest bidder since new hardware is needed for the farms to profit for this prolonged dip in btc price.  This company has great endeavors for pushing the envelope but should quit and get out of the game.
702  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 1Th/s solo mining... worth it? on: February 25, 2015, 11:36:24 PM
Even though the rewards don't often pay for the pud bill it's a fun hobby for sure.  I love getting payouts even small ones.  If you want spending cash now probably isn't the best time.  Good Luck!

Pm'ed you.
704  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S2 upgrade kit? on: February 23, 2015, 09:09:55 PM
What also could affect the change in pool is Bitmain putting all there stock that didnt ship before the holidays on the line.
705  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S2 upgrade kit? on: February 22, 2015, 04:18:00 PM
Weren't the S1 upgrade kits nearly as expensive as an S3 when released?  Price would need to stay under $350 if indeed they will output 2th.
706  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [lee group]340$ the sales promotion of hosted antminer S5(golden psu included) on: February 21, 2015, 04:07:15 PM
Probably would have been a good idea to have that clear at the start.  Have one dedicated btc address to accept payment from these orders and maintenance fees to keep everyone at ease.  FYI... thanks for your community support.
707  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: TECHNOBIT fucked us on: February 20, 2015, 01:00:26 PM
[...] When it comes to other people's money , then we must have the courage and talk with these people and explain these problems.
No one will rip your head off in this case, I think.[...]

Well... I dunno... but... Marto/Technobit are from Bulgaria...  Tongue

Well it didnt pan out for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when the Bulgarians tried to dismantle him and rebuild now did it.  Like I've stated before it sucks these companies can take orders and just dissappear.  We need regulation or at least more moderation on this site to circumvent fraudulent activities from these companies.
708  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Achilles Labs - by Ancenda Technology in Shenzhen on: February 17, 2015, 10:48:53 PM
Why even wait to see if it pans out.
You can buy more efficient miners for
less right now.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt Miner on: February 17, 2015, 04:23:25 AM
Of course there is but this is a Bitcoin forum for Sha256 and the like.  Try here ....  litecointalk.org
Oh and by the way there has been no new Scrypt hardware since last summer.  The difficulty
jumped so high so quick manufacturers all got out and even cloudhashing sites are shutting off
scrypt mining.  Mainly in part due to lack of efficient hardware.  I would try and pick up a Gridseed Black
or A2 mini terminator as well as any X6 model from Zeus.
710  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is minersource.net legit on: February 15, 2015, 02:12:34 AM
It's too bad it's A typical for crypto companies to give no warning before closing shop.
Other than the normal avoiding email and correspondence.  Shame on You!  I guess I was
wrong about them. Angry
711  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: lowest $/ghs? on: February 14, 2015, 01:18:53 AM
s3's are cheap used.  I am in NJ USA if you are close to me I have 2 s3's they will do freq 212 each .

you get 830 gh to 850 gh  using 680 watts
I was unaware that they could reach that before I let mine go.
Hind sight I guess.
712  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Low power chips WANTED!!! 0.3 W/Ghs or around. Ideal miner design for exchange on: February 14, 2015, 01:15:50 AM
Price will be the determining factor.  If you already have a S2 better yet, but probably not worth
buying an S2 just to upgrade.  Unless Bitmain wants to let used ones go and complete with updated
boards.  That may be an option they should look into.  Still stumped at the price of the S5 staying still.
Come on Holidays, be gone!
713  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: how long will it take to make 1 bitcoin with $100 of hardware? on: February 07, 2015, 09:55:23 PM
Just buy it directly and save the headache.  Price could drop below $200 again soon.
714  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitHashMiner 10TH/s Bitcoin Miner on: February 03, 2015, 05:16:42 PM
Is it possible to have a mod just close a thread on posts like this?  So there is no chance for newbs to be lured in.  Come on really!
715  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [lee group]340$ the sales promotion of hosted antminer S5(golden psu included) on: February 02, 2015, 07:11:33 PM
Stay tuned.....  Still dont understand the price hike.
716  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is minersource.net legit on: January 30, 2015, 12:15:33 AM
Haven't ordered from them recently.  Last time was when the S1's were out.  At that time they were very responsive and communicated well with any concerns.  They can't take the hit for BlackArrows f up, being a small new company I'm sure they had to use their own funds to please customers when BA didn't ship.  That said they are  invested in these forums actively and that's good enough for me.  Place a small order and see for yourself. @ Thomas_s - do wish your website was kept up to date, notice old hardware lingering around with marked up prices from time to time.
717  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.25/GH & 0.51W/GH on: January 29, 2015, 09:10:43 PM
Dear Bitmain,

I understand you guys/gals are really really busy and it's probably just an oversight Tongue

When BTC started rising the price of the S4/S5 went up, when it continued to rise they both went up again.

Now that BTC has dropped back down to it's previous level, the prices have remained the same which makes your products much worse value than a week ago.

No need to thank me for alerting you to this, you are welcome

Regards
Tigggger
Exactly.  Price should continue to plummet not plummet upwards.  Are these gold plated limited edition models?
718  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Philipma1957's attempt to rate current Manufacturers of Asic for home mining. on: January 29, 2015, 05:24:32 PM
The times when the forums have little to none new posts of new hardware is the time that scares me the most.  Keep posting, keep driving these companies to produce.  They know they have no business without us.  There farms maybe but those are showing a down trend as well.  Too old to post I say nay.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open-Air chassis on: January 29, 2015, 01:21:01 AM
If its not for mining but gaming here's my favorite case albeit expensive.  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811108133
720  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Building a double Antminer Shelf on: January 29, 2015, 01:13:21 AM
I prefer to buy the cheap wire or plastic shelves but good luck on the build.
Keep in mind to not restrict airflow in front and behind.  Had considered building
an enclosed case/baffle to house and quiet the S5.
