1) We lost a considerable amount of VeriCoin in the attack, however we have been working with the VRC developers and all major exchanges to hard fork the coin at a position before the attack. This will allow us to retrieve the stolen coins and facilitate all withdrawals. We are also working with various exchanges to accommodate any losses they may encouter as a result of the required fork.
This is a problem right here. Just because it's stolen does not mean they should be able to arbitrarily reverse the hack. If they're successful at hard forking, this will set precedence that any time there is a theft reported, devs can just hard fork again. This will eventually be abused, and corruption happens. agreed and this reminds me of the BTER / NXT hack other day and the JPC / Allcrypt hack the other month. on one hand i think we gotta play by the rules.. bear with me on this lol Ok so we have a lawless market right ? A guy exploited the exchange and dumped Cryptsy "Points" down to about 4 sat's The exchange rolled it back but guys got fucked over because they sold other coins to buy up cheap points.. so Cryptsy rolled back the changes on points leaving anyone that dumped their coins earlier kinda fucked over.. as i was told by users who did this. AND the guy who hacked it popped up after a week and i had a little chat with him and turns out he robbed the place for a bit more than 89k usd after cashing out. He was laughing his ass off asking me directly what he should spend it on. Crypsty was not hacked, and no funds were removed from site. We did have a bug that was exploited in the points market, but it was quickly found and corrected. No funds were removed. There are 2 new alt coins that are really trying to be real, NOBL and Guldencoin - NLG. It's the only 2 coins besides btc I trust right now. Exchanges so far bittrex has impressed me a lot, I probably would use Cryptsy if they added a Guldencoin - USD pairing in the future. The truth is when it comes to exchanges they add the coins who are backed by the richest scammers and coins where price is easily manipulated. AKA PoS coins with 5 million and under supply. |

The above I mentioned a couple of days ago that XC was in a bubble. There is hardly any supply which makes it easy to mess with but will never get wide scale merchant adoption like blackcoin potentially could. My guess is that coins with 1mil - 2.5mil supply with "innovation" will be the next big thing to create swing volumes. |

People have been saying that all the way down from 20 to 4, including the "marketing" guy, all the way up to when he acknowledged his CINNI sell-off and left. That Marketing guy "crindon" was an idiot. He's full of hot air and what he's going to do. He was marketing Mint at 25 sats. It's now at 4. He's a dreamer that thinks he knows what he's doing. When a professional marketing guy posts with massive red/green font, it tells me he is not a professional marketer. Crindon is a wannabe in the cryto world. Tell me honestly, if you were paying him for his services would you keep him or fire him?? No, you're the idiot. I don't know why you won't let me leave peacefully. I left while saying good things about CINNI and now you have to rip into me again after I've left. What I do on this forum is not the same as what I do in the real world with marketing. You have to be pretty stupid to make blanket assumptions like that. I obviously had some effect as you are still trying to insult me after all this time. You've never seen my actual work in SMM, with landers and media buys, so don't assume you know how well I can get conversions. I changed my mind about CINNI because my gut feeling changed about the coin. My gut feeling is usually not wrong. I used to think highly of it and then I woke up one day and realized there was something seriously wrong about the coin and the developers. I knew that there was something wrong about the development team. The development team will make or break a coin. That's all there is to it. If the development team is weak, the coin will fail. Rynomaster had some issue with his bike, but he was just covering because he had issues with the CINNI wallet development. The invoice and receipt wallet was days late past the deadline that was set for that weekend which is a huge red flag. Being days late in the crypto world spells big trouble. I knew that they wouldn't be able to pull it off. Then the main tech guy, Rynomaster, left the team for good. Another Huge Red Flag. The kicker? I read somewhere there is a whale manipulating the coin. He keeps dumping into it and he killed other coins in the same fashion. Unfortunately, he has the same plan with CINNI. This isn't FUD, it's facts. You keep trying to vent on me for CINNI failing, well guess what? It has nothing to do with me, it has to do with the weak development team that fell apart. The development team is what makes or breaks the coin, not any member of the community. If you and I weren't having this argument, I would tell you to leave the coin or at least diversify into something that has a strong development team like BC, XC, or VRC. Otherwise, you will continue losing money. They are after market penetration and reaching the masses, what CINNI tried to do, but failed. Never put all your eggs in one basket. I could be wrong and CINNI could recover, but my gut says otherwise. The developer keeps saying he doesn't care about the price, well, he must to some extent, because the price is how you keep score. For anyone who has a lot of this coin, consider researching other coin developers and diversifying. Examine the team carefully, look at their road map and look at their track record. Do your due diligence before investing. Don't put all your eggs into one basket. Lose some money rather than losing everything. There is some good tips made by crindon but unfortunately XC and others with there under 6 million supply will also fail. XC, cloak, VRC, DRK are easily manipulated because of small supply. Blackcoin however might end up being the most successful in the long run out of the lot you mentioned. CINNI who knows what is going to happen, only the CINNI dev knows at this stage if he is going to achieve what was set out in the whitepaper. |

I do agree, but it is possible to sell out now and maybe buy at 4000, so then maybe they might be smarter then me who bought more under 6k. I also remember the weak hands that sold out on Dogecoin when it dropped from 100 to 25 and then it ramped up to over 260 sat in under 4 days, it might be intentional to force the price down, once you own a lot of the market you can then dictate the prices. |

This coin is extremely cheap compared to other PoS coins with encryption and prep for anon. Compared to cloak it should around 20k in value and A LOT more compared to XC, unless the devs are scam artists it's a no brainer to invest in this coin.
the devs are far from scam artists. they have delivered always and when it was late they informed us. how ever this massive silence from the devs is BAD, its hurting the coin and its value bigtime. we need to get some form of update as to whats happening otherwise more and more will just dump out due to the lack of.... well anything really.... agreed yes this coin is undervalued, but the manipulation and fud are helping the drop the price, the silence from devs...... I think the devs will also be buying up while they work on the coin, I am sure they also want to get cheap CINNI... however there is a rumour going around that a few coins have been created to support XC price, hopefully CINNI isn't one of them. Although investing in XC at current prices is just throwing btc away, it has to be in a bubble. XC has 5.5 million, CINNI 15 million. XC current price = 230000 CINNI current price = 5700 CINNI has 2.73 more supply then XC to start off with. XC price 230000 / 2.73 = 84249 if CINNI devs release there stuff. So yes CINNI is currently the best hope of making real good gains. |

I, too, do not understand why people would keep so much money invested in a coin that is flagrantly backed by a pump and dump team. I mean read the thread, jeez. Nobody running this coin cares about anything except making money from investors (mindfox is not running the coin, he is a hired dev and is hire-able by any other coin). That's not a good place to be as an investor.
It's possibly a good bet again if Crypt gets REALLY cheap but right now downside > upside.
PoW coins are battling too, doesn't matter what algo your on. It's just a dumping ground for miners to get in PoS coins and hold some btc. |

Is that me or there is very few volume in the alts today?  I think we're seeing a pullout of money from the alts markets similar to what was going on before anon/DRK/XC became the hot new fad. Markets were becoming a desert back then too. Looks like a lot of people have been burned too - SC, KORE and all the rest. It's getting a lot harder to find high-performing, high-volume coins out there, because people are less willing to put their money at risk. Now that btc price is on it's way down again more money will pour back into alts. It happens everytime btc price has a rise people move back into btc and hold for a bit. |

I have a good feelingabout tthis coin. Sooner or later it will pop. Dont forget drk was at 4 btc volume a day before the rise . I'll be losing at around $25000 + if cinni devs don't deliver but I think this coin is great. I also like how the devs don't release announments just for the sake of making the price go up. Very respectful and honorable to their commitment in making an anonymous transfer coin.
The current price will hover around this level for another 2 weeks or so, maybe hitting a bottom of 4500... as intended then we will see some sparks flying. I don't think we will get any dev updates for about 2 weeks. So good buying time. |

A coin with this much development is not going to die this soon. If you want to earn 3x,4x time profit this is the time to buy. Price is surely going to go up soon. I still regret when i didnt buy cinni at 3k sat and it went to 40ksat.
I think there will be more buy opportunities between 5500 and 6500 in the next few days before the announcements are made. Well, u never know when the pump starts. But at this price it is clear profit. If u want to wait u can. Against Cloak the value should be 14000 , so yes you are right... this is indeed very good buy opportunity unless it turns into another silkcoin where the devs abandon ship. |
